    How does one like...make sprites for trainer cards?

    All sorts of ways to make those, ranging from basic MSPaint to better graphics software. You can usually lean on the official sprites from gen 4/5 as bases or at the very least mimic their style.

    Once you've made a sprite you can attempt to submit it via the appropriate thread (hover your mouse over the 'Trainer Card Maker' menu and look under 'Asset Submissions'). Note that sprites submitted to the TCM have to comply with certain guidelines (listed in the first post of the submission thread) and may take a while to be accepted, or not be accepted at all.

    Unfortunately, we have a bit of a massive backlog of sprites at the moment because of various reasons and the TCM hasn't been updated for a while - and we can't quite guarantee it'll be updated anytime soon. You can make your own trainer cards outside the TCM, but you may not use any of the TCM's existing assets or edit any cards made with the TCM.
