Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
XD yea, but friendship is deemed as the Pokemon likes the trainer because of how great they are and how strategic they are. So, that would be true, but those are in-game mechanics. How friendship really is how much the Pokemon would help their trainer. That is normally reserved for trainers who treat their Pokemon right. Cyrus probably lied to Crobat to make it evolve.
Friendship = a relationship between friends; mutual trust and support between people/nations... yeaaaa I can't see Cyrus doing this for his Pokemon unless he lied to them. His Crobat would've supported and trusted Cyrus, but he would've had to lie to Crobat a little bit to make it evolve faster, or give it a little push to evolve.
Yeaa... But still XD forcing godly Pokemon to his will to destroy the world he hates and create his world where he could reign supreme over it and live forever and in bliss.... yeaaaaa XD
Team Galactic stole Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, and used the gems in their tails and their powers to create the Red Chain. The Red Chain was created by exploiting their powers, causing weakness in emotions (Mesprit), knowledge (Uxie), and willpower (Azelf) in people being affected by the chain. If a Legendary gets caught in it, it's a life-or-death struggle to free itself.
The reason why Giratina (supposedly banished by the very Pokemon who created space and time) wanted to help them was because if their world ended, then the very basis of the Distortion World, its home, would be destroyed, too. Leaving him in an absence of space.
Of course, because of Giratina's portal, the player had to fight Cyrus in the Distortion World (that Giratina kidnapped to stop him from further destroying the worlds), and close the portal between the Distortion World and their world.
The creators of Pokemon and Cynthia say that Giratina has the power of antimatter, but that isn't exactly true. He might, but he has more to do with gravity, which distorts space and time. The anime explains the effects of the Distortion World
