Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Haha @Killerbunny the god my best friend is also a big Sheev fan, he's always quoting Palpatine whenever we go somewehere or play Battlefront 2 together.
Also don't mean to sound smartass but @Moonheart how can you be reeeeaally Irish without the accent? What's the craic ya wee dodgy lass??
Now if yall want REAL escapism join me up on Star Wars the Old Republic MMO RPG. Has free to play option to it, so can't use money as an excuse not to join me :p
Ayy @Killerbunny the god didn't realize you're a big Star Wars fan! I've been in love with it since I was like five years old, I'll have to send you pictures of my Star Wars shelf (ahem, shrine) :\=|:
I'd imagine it's due to coverage. Nidoking learns some wicked moves like Thunderbolt and Ice Beam that help you deal against wider range of opponents. It's also faster which helps too.
Lastly I'd like to advocate for escapism. Anything that you can just put your mind into and use to forget about everything stressful. For me that would be video games, workout or a walk into the woods while playing Pokémon GO.
Anything like that will help you shift your focus and ayomatically...
Sounds kinda depressive, but bunny's right. Sometimes you have to pretend yourself that everything's okay till you believe it.
Focus on the little things that make you happy. Having slept well, taste of good food, take a walk outside if there's nature around your are. Things like that may not...
I've been there, it's a lot to take in. Remember that they both still love you and you are not alone. Also, if I may recommend something try a hobby that works as escapism. Video games did that to me when family life and studying was all hell.
Bunny's right though, take care of yourself. It's difficult time for everyone when someone in your peers is seriously ill, all you can really do is look after them and - as KB said - take care of yourself. Or, pra, if that's your thing. :?
Far be it for me to offer parenting advice though. She is a minor and may have been on the site without her parents' permission. All we can really do is speculate.
Well that's nothing to be ashamed of, it's a private discussion. I know some parents are very protective, but if mine ever went to lengths of snooping up on my DMs there'd be far less respect and trust there is right now.
