Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Marcus' eyes narrowed as he watched the skeleton materialize beside the girl. Something deep inside him had suddenly become incredibly agitated, and a voice began to seep into the corners of his mind. Blasphemous, it hissed on repeat. Sacrilegious, must annihilate. His wings twitched nervously...
Given the way his power set is worded, I'm not sure if Orm's fangs would even pierce Samson's skin in the first place. They would have to physically attack the skin in order to pierce it, so I think that it would be redirected. If disconnected from the ground, however, Samson's skin would...
Of the dozens of poor souls drowning in the red-stained water, Marcus had only been able to rescue twelve. At the same moment as he let the final two let go of the bar, Marcus collapsed onto the deck of the ship in agony. I...have...to keep...going, he thought, stabbing the bar into the deck to...
@Cmeriwether Now that there is no whale, the ship could potentially be sucked down into the bottom of the ocean as the water rushes to fill in that spot. Basically the opposite of what happened with the giant wave.
Sawsbuck nodded and sank to the ground, allowing Aris to clamber from it's back. When she did climb off, Mason returned the Sawsbuck to it's Poke Ball. "Rest up, buddy." He murmured as he returned it to his belt. He did the same for his Whimsicott and Breloom, allowing them to rest up as well...
Just as Marcus was about to cross the threshold leading into the outer deck, his senses were overloaded with a deafening roar. He stepped out onto the deck for a mere moment, and muttered, "Oh shit!" upon seeing the biblically-proportioned wave bearing down on the ship. Marcus whipped his head...
"Are you kidding?" Mason asked incredulously. "I'm about as comfortable as I an be right now!" He lay flat on Heidrun's back, basking in the slowly setting sun. "A shower would be nice, of course, but I could live like this for the rest of my days." He turned to set a cheery gaze on Aris before...

Just a little bit of visual clarification for the rowing machine scene in my post. The finish is the bit where the guy's legs are fully extended.
Even at the rate Marcus was rowing at, he felt it wasn't quite difficult enough. Might as well throw in a hard ten strokes, he thought as he began to ramp up his power. In three strokes the rate dropped from 1:45 to 1:35 (a difference Marcus was quite proud of), and the hard twenty started...
Mason began to regain his composure when Aris voiced her opinion on who cared more about her. "Hey now, I ca-" He began when WHAM!, he felt something hit the back of his head. Mason crashed to the ground from his position on top of Heidrun, and put a hand to investigate the damage once his mind...
When Marcus Kosika first began rowing, his coach would tell the team that if they took one day off of practice, it would take two days to get back to square one. That always seemed like a lot of work to the young Czech, so instead of putting a twenty one day hiatus on his training for his...
For all the games he enjoyed playing, Mason was never great at poker. As such, he found it extremely difficult to maintain his composure as Aris began rethinking the entirety of her life choices leading up to the moment that a baby Taillow relieved itself onto her arm. Don't laugh, he began...
"I suppose in the long term it doesn't really matter why we're here," Mason said. "We just need to do the best we can now that we are." He slouched forward to rest his upper body on Heidrun's horns, grateful for her strength. They chose me after the raid on the Neo-Galactic stronghold, he wanted...
Mason pulled out a map from one of his pockets and unfolded it, comparing it to the landscape around them. He spotted a small hill a little ways into the forest that flanked either side of the path, and located it on the map. "We are..." Mason said, making the calculations in his head. "...About...
