    Happy Charms Day!

I haven't made a trainer card in ages, so I made a brand new one to celebrate, featuring some of my favorites. :O

What is your -least- favorite region and why?

Honestly, my least favorite region is Hoenn. At the time, it was cool and exciting - they did a lot with the graphical upgrades possible on the GBA - but especially after playing through ORAS, Hoenn has not aged well at all. I know IGN gets a lot of flak for their "too much water" review, but...

    The last game you beat

My SO and I just finished Ace Attorney Trilogy. I've played all the games in the series before several times, but she's never played any of them, so it was fun playing through them with her. The games are very heavily logic-based, and it was interesting seeing someone else's thoughts on how...

    Soft Resetting

I really dig shinies, but I also have no patience for that sort of thing, so I make do without. It was bad enough breeding for Pokemon with 31 IVs; I can't imagine the pain in the neck it would be doing that much soft resetting for shinies.

    Get the popcorn!

So I saw Zootopia yesterday. It was solid! Good writing, really gorgeous scenework, fluid animation - just overall a lot of fun. There aren't enough Disney buddy cop movies either, so I have to give it props there. Also, for what it's worth, the movie really does beat you over the head with its...

What are you listening to - Right Now

I am totally enamored with this boss theme from Final Fantasy XIV. I don't even play FFXIV. It's just so unlike anything I expected to hear out of an MMO - much less a Final Fantasy MMO - and it's a really awesome callback to 80s sentai series.

    Your Favorite Evil Team?

Plasma and Galactic are at the top of my list for the same reasons Stel cited, so I won't repeat all of that. That said, though, on replaying Blue and talking to some friends, I've realized something about Rocket that I didn't pick up on the first time through. Team Rocket starts off the game...

    Mobile Games!

So I have a Windows phone, so pretty much any popular mobile game is a non-starter for me, haha. This also means that Pokemon GO will probably be more of a Pokemon No-GO. For what it's worth, though, the mobile game I use most often to kill time is the Microsoft Solitaire collection. I only...

Party Like It's 1996 (The Official RBY Retro Playthrough Thread)

Update: I have made it to Fuchsia. None of the other gym leaders have proven as nerve-wracking as Misty, though Erika came close since I didn't have a fire-type or a flying-type at the type. I just Ice Beamed my way through her Pokemon, and got lucky on one of her moves missing. My team is now...

    Pokémon GO GDC Conference Cancelled

Well, they have just announced that they're going to start field testing GO in Japan soon, so that's something.

Party Like It's 1996 (The Official RBY Retro Playthrough Thread)

I also took advantage of the Mew glitch; I suppose I had it a bit easier than most though - I caught the second Abra I found after about five minutes of searching by chucking a single Pokeball at the beginning of the battle. My team as of now is: Mjolnir (lv 17 Mew) Ortiz (lv 23 Wartortle)...

    The last game you beat

I plowed through Mario & Luigi Paper Jam recently. I was worried about this game considering the last Paper Mario was pretty meh, but it turns out I shouldn't have stressed. Paper Jam is the best one in the M&L series as far as mechanics are concerned - the battle system is mad fun to play this...

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Officially Announced in Pokémon Direct

@Doctor Oak Well! That's legitimately disappointing.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Officially Announced in Pokémon Direct

@Teapot - It sounds to me like they're emphasizing where the Pokemon can come to Sun and Moon from, which is why they phrased it that way. I'm 90% sure that RBY will be able to transfer to XY/ORAS. Also, for what it's worth, I'm way more excited to know that RBY will be Bank compatible than the...

A New Generation Appears? Pokémon Sun and Moon Trademarks Filed

Seriously though, if Sun and Moon are actual games and they don't give Solrock and Lunatone mega evolutions, they've wasted an opportunity.

    Cross-overs you'd like to See

Not a response I expected to see, but hey, any mention of Robopon and I am all in for that. Anyway, i would be 100% sold on a crossover between Ace Attorney and Danganronpa. I have no idea how in the hell it would work, the styles would clash horribly, but I would be immediate fan trash for it.

    Weapons in Videogames

In Baten Kaitos, there's a character named Lyude. His whole thing is that he's a gunner, but all of his attacks are named after musical terms. As a result, all of his weapons are brass instruments that shoot energy balls from them. Except during his finishing attack Sforzando, where he runs up...
