Mina’s Nightmare
Mina walked through a field of purple and red roses. She stood on a tiny path that was barely three feet wide that perfectly bisected the two halves of the field. On one half of the field every rose, for as far as the eye could see were a solid red color. The other half was a...
Yea you are right I tend to do a lot of scene description and inner monologue. However Pen had already set the scene. The rug was as much as I messed with that and I am trying to be very careful with the palace as I know that is the play area of the STs same with introducing npcs. In hindsight I...
Yea I wondered after I read it if I had overdone it a bit.
Edit: I just wanted to get out more than two paragraphs but the scene was entering and crossing a room.
Mai-Ling stood in front of the familiar bronze inlaid double doors that marked the end of her destination. This was the entrance to her Lady's hall and set the start of her duties for the day. The Greninja girl once again ran her hands over her clothes, straightening out invisible wrinkles and...
Story I hope one day you can get the time to read all of Dark Tournament. Pen has already shown her beautiful writing skill in the Graves thread, but she still shines in DT. It is a great place to see Ny's character building of Salem and the evolution of many of the writers as they have...
Ty Pen I promise I did read your intro post almost as soon as it was up. I just missed that part :'|
It is more than a bit daunting going after Story. Which seems to be twice now for me in this thread. I hadn't even realized Story had posted until I finished mine, and then I read it.:-O
popped up a post finally.
So Pen, Ny let me know if I took too much liberty with the palace by giving it a servants wing. I wasn't sure if it had a wing, outside quarters, or if all servants not personally attached to nobility lived in city proper.
A sliver of sunlight poured through a crack in the curtains, and slowly slipped across the floor. As the curtain swayed slightly in the damp air, the sunlight crept up onto a bed and rested upon a sleeping face. A single eye lid slowly rose upward, as if struggling to hold up its own weight. A...
Aidiana was last on the island when she was 5 years old she doesn't even remember the place. She was out with her father, on a fishing trip. She had stowed away when they were caught in a storm. Aidinia was found by a passing ship and brought aboard where she was taken back to Kanto, and then...
Megan
Megan sneezed again and shook her head, rubbing her eyes trying to make them stop burning. She could hear Gerald asking if she was ok, and then a whump. Then thudding sounds was followed by some cursing and more thuds. "Oh man I am such a klutz, how could I fall like that and drop that...
I am curious Pen and Ny. Is their any particular reason for the kingdoms current level of prosperity and tolerance. Just wondering if they do things differently than their neighbors or if their is some special history behind the Knights. Or is the Royal family just that good.
I am probably...
Mega do me a favor give me another nightmare for Damien before you get him up. I will be providing new nightmares for Megan and Lin as well after Burb post.
I agree Ny I totally did not see house explosions to be a frequent thing in Deliquent town. The only reason that really happened is one of the higher enforcers had a real fight on his hands and actually had to unleash his power. Most of the time if people see that coming. They are way to scared...
We had this debate already in dark tournament. However in the normal Pokemon work animals do exist if you research it. Even in the games there are references in some Pokemon description of them eating insects or other animals not Pokemon.
