    You could use a good water type, be on the lookout for one of those.

    You should still catch them when they are the first, the point of a Nuzlocke run is to a) challenge yourself b) Discover some pokemon you dont usually train. Im learning now that zubats can be pretty cool once you get them Wing attack and Bite :P Also you may want some cannon fodder later.
