Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Marilynn stepped out into the sunlight and had to squint. Her eyes were squeezed shut, as the professor did NOT want to go blind. Royal bumped into her sister after the sudden stop, but squirmed around her. She returned Red after getting to the other side, then let him out again.
"Yeah! Let's do this!" Dakota whisper-yelled, slinking into the shadows with Ram. She had to constrain the little thing, as it was struggling in his arms. "Don give us away, Ram!" The blue-eyed trainer scolded the Beldum.
"I guess we'll never know, unless you somehow figure out which notepad was missing in your trash heap of a desk," Marilynn snickered, a smile breaking on her face.
"Why do you think he ran? Besides, what was on that notepad?" Marilynn asked Valmont as she briskly walked over to the stairs with Royal and Red in her wake.
Royal giggled, "Lady, I think you're being more childish than me!"
Marilynn chuckled softly, agreeing with the bluenette. "Yeah, you are. We have a serious situation on our hands, so let's get going. Shall we?" The scientist spoke up, sweeping an arm towards the entrance.
Destiny, seeing her miserable Swoobat, returned the shivering bat to her Luxury Ball. Snap sashayed beside her trainer, scoping the area. The Feraligatr didn't give a flying Ducklett about getting in the way of multiple people. Destiny was too focused on getting out of the cold to notice Snap's...
"I guess so," Marilynn answered, a small grin growing on her face. Royal snapped into a huge smile and let go of her sister's leg. "Party!" She cheered as she squeezed Red.
"Do ya mind if I use my new, but unofficial team member? I found a Beldum. Y'know, those tings are rare in Hoenn. I guess tat's why one was 'ere," Dakota rambled, "I tink Ram's Psychic powers aren't strong enough to lift a person, but it can deal a mean blow."
"Y'know, a rare Pokemon like dis Beldum shouldn't be used just fer expriments," Dakota thought to himself. She looked for Beldum's Pokeball, finding a Moon Ball. The black-haired adult clicked the button, and the Beldum was sucked in. "Yer not officially part of de team, but I'll hold on to ya,"...
"Yer welcome," Dakota cackled, making sure his shirt hid what had been shown earlier. He returned everyone but Twinkle, and looked at the array of Pokemon before her. "I already have a full team," she said, seeing a Beldum on the floor. It tried ramming into him, but Twinkle interecepted the attack.
Tossing all of her Pokeballs, Dakota shouted, "I gotcha boss! Twinkle, Dazzling Gleam! Ampere, Thunderbolt! Database, Tri Attack! Copper, Crater, and Sunspot, Psychic!"
"Let's do this!" Dakota whisper-yelled, slinking into the room with her trio of Psychic types. He saw a Klinklang being traded to a guy with brown hair. "Copper, lift dat guy up," the young adult asked her Bronzong, indicating the guy with the brown hair. However, his attack didn't go unnoticed...
"Copper, Sunspot, Crater, you ready for dis?" Dakota called as she sent out her Bronzong, Solrock, and Lunatone. He huddled them into a group talk, and discussed the strategy. With that all done, he returned Ampere and announced, "I'm ready, boss!"
Touching the ground, Dakota returned Sunspot and Crater to their Pokeballs. She let out Ampere, and climbed on. "Let's git dis party started!" He exclaimed.
"Let's get this party started. How long has it been since I've said that?" Dakota thought to himself as her Electrode followed Phog and...
Royal giggled at her sister's embarrassed reaction and started singing, "Mari and Val-" before being cut off by a hand over her mouth. "Don't," Marilynn grumbled.
"Yeah, Valmont. You still owe us the drinks. That was over a year ago," Marilynn chuckled quietly. Royal looked at her sister confusedly. "He owes you drinks?"
Royal shrieked and held onto her sister for dear life. Red waddled over and hugged Royal's leg, a big smile plastered on his face like always. Marilynn backed away from Tyler a bit, somewhat frightened.
