    So I was fishing for a Carvanha to use on my Omega Ruby team when I stumbled across a shiny Tentacool. I've since added him to the team and have dubbed him Borealis. I've also been trying to soft reset for a shiny Tepig in Pokemon Black, but no luck at 700 resets yet.

    I know the feeling, I'm usually like that myself. Binge everything in a day or nothing. MHA is only different because I have a friend who I watch it with. That's fair, sorry just the way you phrased it made it sound as if you wanted to join one but couldn't due to not having seen the anime.

    You're probably going to be waiting for a while then. If you want to get into it but don't want to watch all of it, I'd suggest going to the end of season 2. There's no real cliffhanger or anything so you can get to a satisfying end point, and also understand enough about it to go join those RPs.

    So the trading you need someone close by to do, but you can give gifts to people literally on the other side of the planet and it is useful to have a bunch of free items. Plus friends give you boosts to damage in battles, stardust and what have you. It's really useful.
