Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
In a way, I think the lock was a boon in disguise. Teapot hinted that, if the thread had remained open, the community probably would have flooded it with memes rather than serious consideration.
Wow, thank you very much. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I actually was open to discussion, and I really think the lock was uncalled-for, but hey- if someone else eventually makes another thread on the movie, I'd be glad to discuss differences if appropriate.
I'm sorry that it's taken me this long to get up my form, Ry. I've got an excuse though: if you were to check my YouTube channel, you'd see that I've been doing a ton of uploading. Not a very good excuse, but there it is. Anyway . . .

Alright. It's been two weeks now since the film's release. I think it's safe to discuss the plot. As I'm sure you've noticed, this is going to be one hell of a long-ass rant, so stay, or TLDR outta here. I honestly don't care if anyone reads this, or if it ends up being just me screaming into...
So, with the RP right around the corner, I just wanted to say that I'll be trying a sort of villain role, and to remind everyone that I usually go one post a day. I know that, especially at the RP's beginning, things are rapid fire, but I go slow and steady. That'll factor quite a bit into...
Hi, Pretty Pichu! I'm glad to see you joining up. If you were to post your projected characters here, Eeveechu would better be able to decide a "yes" or "no," though I get the feeling it'd be a "yes." After all, the original post says: "the name of the game is creativity here."
Don't sweat it. Honestly, with Christmas around the corner, I'd say wait until the day after the day after it (y'know, since people will probably spend the day after recovering from their hangovers and whatnot).
EDIT: In the meantime, should we discuss the setting? Is this taking place in a...
Alright, thanks. Now, if that's the case, I'm going to switch out Eli's "Crack Shot" for the previous "Exorcist" skill you saw earlier. Without exact math, it's redundant to say that one of the skills just means "hey, these two stats are high in this area."
So . . . what are they there for? Since this isn't as mathematical as, say, Pokemon or Fire Emblem, I get the feeling that I wouldn't be able to, for instance, write in a post that Eli shot Raven. According to the numbers, Raven's Skill (3) and Speed (3) are lower than 8, and you've now...
Done. Got another question for you. Since you've deliberately put in stat charts (ATK, DEF, SPD, etc.), does that override the general rule about "not affecting other characters," or is there some other reason?
Hey, folks. I've been looking to join a roleplay for the long term, composed of people who are willing to stay, and a story worth sticking around for. This looks very promising.

Unquestionable superiority? Er . . . you'll have to elaborate on that one. More often, I find the case to be initial superiority, since the villain has the luxury of time and planning, and the hero only gets to respond when he's already got an advantage. Anyway- to continue the conversation...
Well, folks, I know writing stories is fun and all, but what I have to suggest today may throw a new curve into the combat-based roleplaying we’re used to- for those interested. I’m not here to suggest a plot (I wouldn’t know what I could possibly bring up, that hasn’t been used before), but...
Y'know, if we're talking interesting antagonists, some of the most sophisticated creations out there aren't humanoid. If any of you are familiar with the SCP Foundation, you understand that the Devil You Don't Know is a hell of a lot scarier than the one you do. Has anyone ever attempted an...
Thanks for your feedback, Absol, Glaceon. Sorry about the late response, but I sliced open my finger with the potato peeler, and it's somewhat cut into my typing ability (if you like a pun). So, from what little I've heard so far, perhaps I should be thinking groups of villains after all...
