Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Yeah I reckon I'm gonna have to take a wee little break.
Life's been pretty busy rn (internship + thesis since March) so on top of generally being pretty tired, my motivation to do just about anything in my free time has taken a record nosedive. The good news is that Kenny wasn't really doing...
Six minutes. That was apparently more or less how long Kenny was allowed to sleep tonight. Despite his fatigue, it had taken quite some time for him to actually fall asleep after getting back to his room. It was probably reasonable to chalk it up to the lingering adrenaline from the contest...
Gaia give me strength.
Kenny really was forced to wonder whether Goule even had any filter or social awareness whatsoever. The zombie duelist didn't even seem like he wanted to insult Tracy, per say. But no matter how one looked at it (well, one that wasn't Goule, anyway), that's exactly what...
He woke up, immediately got greeted by Goule and got into an argument, lost against a Gladiator Beast, had to watch a duel with the most annoying announcer voice known to mankind and immediately after has to deal with another person blowing up at Goule (understandably so). I've been tired over...
Kenny's probably gonna dip for this in-universe day, unless there's other plans that require him to exist I suppose. Man's tired but not quite tired enough to fall asleep immediately.
Oh right I hadn't gotten around to responding to this yet.
Imo it's fine for an archetype generally as small and relatively weak as Penguins (no offense, Tracy) so no objections here tbh.
To be fair in the actual TCG Blue-Eyes hasn't been very useful for, well, being Blue-Eyes, but moreso as a draw engine iirc (apart from a few moments in time). That said all other normal monsters that have ever been relevant like Garnet, Neos and Dark Magician just exist as steps for cards like...
Bro don't get me started on Blue-Eyes favoritism LOL.
Duel Links recently had its fourth anniversary, and to celebrate it players have gotten access to our first copy of Alternative Dragon for free. Apart from that, a structure deck was also released including some of the older Blue-Eyes...
That sounds about right lmao.
Fun fact- I don't know how familiar you all are with speed dueling but up until the previous set Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth was genuinely top of the meta due to the limited selection of cards.
Insect Queen and Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth share a common weakness- they can both easily be cheated out, but why would you waste your resources on cheating them out rather than literally any other Insect boss monster? PUGM is just a big bricky beater and Insect Queen's effect is actively a...
Yeah exactly. VRAINS is amazing with duels imo. As much as I can appreciate 5ds I really dislike how so many duels just get decided with useless trap cards that don't do anything except in one very specific instance and then never get seen again.
Oh also for the record there can be only one...
To be fair the entire anime series is just a sequence of getting lucky and luckier draws. VRAINS is the series that does it the least from what I remember and also has the funniest duel in that regard (where two players just both open full unplayable).
Also format is 4000 LP and you can either...
Kenny let out a sigh in relief when Willow struck the final blow, and then immediately remembered that Dahlia was still right next to him. Maybe she didn't hear it. Maybe she would misinterpret it. Maybe maybe maybe.
"That was...an interesting duel indeed," he said, applauding both duelists as...
