Well why dwell on the past? Alakazam would have been an uber in gen 1, nobody thinks about that now do they? If anything I'm arguing for the sake of the Beldum now as I kinda feel like a douche for dragging him into it. I'll swap my Tyranitar if the thread creator asks me to.
I have to say I think that disallowing pseudo legendaries is reasonable under most circumstances as of course they are very powerful but in this case other things should probably be considered. Neither myself or the guy with the Metagross (sorry I forgot your name) have teams riddled with power...

I was hoping an exception was being made due to the fact the rest of my team consists of Pokemon considered not as strong as uber tier Pokemon such as Greninja and Aigeslash...Or at least that was why I assumed the Metagross was being allowed.

Great, I'll get a bio up in a moment and don't worry, no shines :) seems a little strange to me that all these students have fully evolved teams as well no? Aren't they meant to be relatively new to the whole trainer thing? I don't mind, just pointing it out as it's a key difference I'm noticing...
