Wouldn't even say it left the anime in the dust. IIt's pretty common that the show is one arc behind compared to the manga. The Promised Neverland and Houseki no Kuni left their shows in the dust with 2- 1/2 arcs ahead.- Loyaldis

It's running since 2014 now and currently has 234 chapters, if we go with the 40% it would take another 5 years (including the holidays, hiatuses etc) to reach 80% (2024) leaving...- Loyaldis
