    I guess they could be, the actual stand names are kind of broad but could be described as some form of rock. For example "Killer Queen" (A song by Queen) is a stand. They also don't have to even be songs, they're also bands like "Red Hot Chili Peppers," and "Metallica". That's just my take I guess.
