Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
I dunno, I'm down to actually end it. Too many RPs go on and on without ever ending and they inevitably die out... This has been such an awesome RP, I think it deserves to end on a strong note, as opposed to anti-climatically dwindling out of existence... But don't worry! There's still a lot...
The end is nigh, my friends! I have some pretty cool plans for the ending (still awaiting mod-approval, however) so once your characters reach the uppermost floor of the base, hang tight and I'll set the scene.
Ray thanked Azumi as she gave him some food.
"Well, I wasn't exactly expecting to make it out of here in one piece," he said half-jokingly "so I never really considered what to do in the event of a victory..." He contemplated the matter for a moment.
"I think the best course of action would be...
Ray was extremely impressed by Azumi's use of tactics.
"I-I'm fine..." he responded to her as she sat down.
"But I have to ask: was that guy from the pokemon leaugue? Now that I think about it, his face seemed kinda familiar..."
He watched as the rocket grunts tied Winstrom up at Azumi's...
As the battle progressed, Ray came to the realization that Winstrom was no joke... He battled with a level of sophistication that Ray had only seen before in trainers like Lance, and the Indigo elite 4, who'd quashed so many rocket operations back in Johto.
As much as he trusted in Azumi's...
Ray wasn't too familiar with the Kalos elite 4, and so he didn't recognize Winstorm; but one look at the man's haughty expression, and Ray knew that he was NOT someone who he'd get along with...
But despite his overwhelming urge to call in Typhlosion and melt the man's ridiculously ostentatious...
It was difficult for Ray to just lie there while he knew his troops were still fighting outside... but for the time being he was literally incapable of getting up, so he didn't have much choice in the matter. He heard Azumi asking the office workers for help, and the silence that ensued, and...
Yeah no worries! It's a tough call because the rules say they can only be used 'once-per-battle,' but our characters are involved in a lot of consecutive battles... So just make sure there's cool-down time between each z move. If your character hasn't had significant time to rest in between two...
try not to spam z moves y'all! it's probably not a big deal but I'm just paranoid about getting warnings now, and they're supposed to be limited use...
It wasn't long before Ray began choking on the vile concoction that Azumi had poured down his throat.
"W-what the hell!?" he spat upon waking up. He wasn't sure if it was the liquid's medicinal properties that had woken him up, or just its disgusting flavour...
Ray stared blankly upward at Azumi...
"I-I'm fine..." Ray panted. "If you could just keep helping me walk, though, that'd be appreciated..."
Once the backlines of the fixing forces had completely disengaged from combat, Ray led his newly-formed enveloping force into the right building, while the high-ranking rocket member assigned...
As soon as Azumi walked away Ray attempted to stand up again, but immediately fell back down... He exhaled in frustration, and called for one of his troops to help him up, and give him a shoulder to lean on as he walked over to the entrance of the alleyway. Once there, he immediately began...
The rocket grunts looked confused when Azumi gave them orders, not knowing who she was; but Ray nodded at them, letting them know that she was to be trusted, and the rockets promptly assumed the formation that Azumi had dictated. Typhlosion and Dusknoir, who were still in pretty good shape...
Typhlosion gave a swift nod to Azumi and dashed off in the direction of Ray's scent, passing Dusknoir on the way, who quickly wrapped up the fight that he was engaged in and followed after them.
Ray could be seen defending an alleyway, now filled with injured team rocket members, with all his...
Levan and his gang followed Micheal and Otis to the southwest entrance of Lumiose and began to unleash havoc on the city.
Leven sent out a Feraligatr and a Tyranitar, and the two pokemon and their trainer bore cool, sadistic smiles as they cut and smashed their way through the unsuspecting...
Ray fell to the ground, stumbling over his injured leg as he just narrowly managed to dodge a Flamethrower fired his way. Corsola rushed over to his side and knocked out the opposing fire-type pokemon with a Liquidation attack. Ray then hugged Corsola to his chest and rolled over to the side of...
Typhlosion barrelled through opponent after opponent in one continuous Flame Wheel, leaving a trail of scorched pavement in its wake. Dusknoir drove his fists into the ground at regular intervals, creating massive Earthquakes whose oscillating precipices managed to keep some of the distant...
"Let's just try to survive to the end of the day... then we can worry about all that. I'm going to commence my attack now, so standby and wait for my signal!"
Ray sent the message off to Micheal, and turned toward his troops.
"Now's the time!" he shouted to them, putting an abrupt stop the...
Ray and the rocket grunts continued to enjoy themselves in the calm before the storm, passing the time in many stupid ways (including getting their pokemon to instruct them in human-vs-human combat - a bizzare inversion of a pokemon battle...). The spirits in the group were high; but when Ray...
