Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
“Alright! Let’s do this! You got this, you two! Show them who’s boss!” Alexander nodded and gave the signal to get ready.
Wigwarm made a yelling sound while Ragcoon began to run right next to Wigwarm, seeming a little frightened yet still ready for battle.
“Wigwarm, use Tackle on Hayate...
"We won't take that long," Alexander assured Aceso as he commanded Wigwarm and Ragcoon to prepare for quick training. He didn't want this to last too long either; he just needed to ensure he had the gym on lockdown.
"Hey Leona, would you want to do a double battle that we end early so we don't...
"Oh, hey there!" Alexander looked at the Litleo, giving it a small pat on the head. Wigwarm looked curiously at the fellow fire type and seemed to like being around it. Ragcoon continued to get over its fear of the other Pokemon as it watched in the safety of Alexander.
"Sure thing, let's head...
“That’s a lot of Cat Pokemon right there…” Alexander seemed overwhelmed by the fact that the majority of the Pokémon there were like the same species.
Wigwarm cooled itself down, but it still seemed rather fired up at the moment.
Ragcoon shivered a little, but it still stayed near Alexander...
"I think I should be good, these two should be enough to beat the gym alone," Alexander said confidently.
Wigwarm stared directly at Queen, remembering the earlier incident between the two. He looked about ready to unleash another Ember toward the cat Pokemon.
"Easy, Wigwarm. We can sort this...
“Actually, I’d love to train a little. You have a point, I can’t just get into the gym right away. Plus, my starter is at a disadvantage when it comes to typing,” Alexander nodded, as he took out his Wigwarm and Ragcoon.
“Here’s my two Pokémon. You’ve seen Ragcoon, and here’s Wigwarm,”...
Alexander chuckled a little as he let go of Leona’s hand. He was a little more on the dense side, so he didn’t really think of Aceso’s response to the “girlfriend” allegations.
“She claims I’m her childhood friend, but I don’t really have any memories together, heh,” Alexander smiled.
“And...
“Geez, Access-io, is this how you normally treat people when you first meet them? Because that was as cold as an Ice Beam,” Alexander asked. He wasn’t directly defending Leona, as he really wanted to let this play out for his personal entertainment.
“Anyways, nice to meet you, Leona. I’m...
“Oh yeah. The line…” Alexander muttered as he went outside the Pokemon Center after looking and the rather busy line. He looked at Aceso, seeming slightly apologetic before heading outside of the Pokémon Center.
Alexander was wondering whether or not Leona and Aceso would get into in...
Alexander picked up his Poke Balls as they were healed while talking with Leona. He didn’t mean to act disrespectful, he just needed to get things done and start heading to the gym. He did forget, at least for a bit, that Aceso was watching, which could make her impatient.
“Yeah, we just...
"Ragcoon!" Alexander exclaimed, chasing after the Pokemon. He saw it next to the trash can, seeming afraid. The raccoon Pokemon shivered a little, but once it saw Alexander, it felt relieved.
"Don't worry; you're safe. No one will harm you," Alexander smiled as he returned Ragcoon to its Poke...
“I’m coming with you, I need to heal my Pokémon,” Alexander replied, following Aceso to the Pokémon Center.
Ragcoon was not far behind. The small raccoon pup was quite agile, and would have no problems keeping up with the gang. It started looking around for items and/or berries to pick up, and...
That would be awesome, but you don’t need to if you don’t have the time to.
Glad you’re back, by the way! How was the trip?
(P.S. I’m considering making another character, but I’m not entirely sure about it yet.)
Alexander chuckled a bit.
"Guess it'll take a while for those two to get along," he smiled, "but let's get going on the map."
He also decided to take out another Poke Ball. This time, it was Ragcoon's. The ragged raccoon pup went out, and while it withstood some damage, it seemed alright and...
"Don't worry; we'll find a Pokemon Center, and we'll get a map... if we can find one, of course," Alexander was then interrupted by the sound of Queen yowling loudly.
"What's going on..? WAIT! WIGWARM!" Alexander yelled.
Wigwarm was unable to avoid the pounce, but it tried to struggle out...
"Can we buy a map somewhere..?" Alexander wondered, attempting to look at the map Aceso took out. He was in the same boat as her and didn't understand any part of the map due to the amount of annotations.
Meanwhile, Wigwarm felt very threatened. It stopped playing around. Realizing it was too...
“You sure you got this…?” Alexander sensed some unconfident tones in Aceso’s voice. He hoped that she knew her way, but he seemed a little doubtful.
Wigwarm seemed to ignore Queen, and continued to over exaggerate his movements. He continued to laugh, before making some loud, annoying clicking...
"Seems like this place is just like Kanto with how the gym leaders work. I've heard it's much more confusing in other regions," Alexander nodded.
"So, how far away are we from the gym?" he wondered, hoping Aceso wasn't as forgetful as him and still remembered the route.
Instead of boosting...
