Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Bastet gathered her stuff and immediately left the guild building. She noticed that Kit and Mina were already going ahead. As soon as she got out, a sudden realization hit her: she didn't really know where she was going.
"Well, karp," she mumbled, "I hope they didn't travel too far..." She...
Bastet shrugged, seeing there was no way to manipulate the situation to get out. "If you say so, whenever you're ready, Mina."
She finished her breakfast quickly before getting up.
"I'll need to get my equipment first. Be back in a few," the feline left the kitchen. She walked down the hallway...
"Erm... It was nothing. I was just curious about something," Bastet responded as she turned to Mina.
Guess I touched a nerve? Heh, I doubt it, they didn't seem that frustrated. After some silence, she noticed the paper in Mina's hands. "So? How does this mission thing work anyway?"
(Sorry about...
Bastet nodded, walking by Simisear for Pecha and Cheri berries. She sat next to Kit, mainly because she knew he was also a member of her team. The Pokemon started to eat her spicy-sweet meal as she waited for Mina to return. Out of curiosity, she turned to James after Devowa left. The Purrloin...
Baster finally awoke, though due to the sound of the main Guild door being forcefully opened. Cranky and regretting her decision from last evening, she went to the kitchen. "M... Morning..." She yawned, trying to wake up. After a while, she turned her attention to Titus then looked at her team...
"Well, um... I'll just go to sleep," Bastet said as she laid down on a bed in the corner. She curled up into a ball, still feeling fatigue from running out of the forest. Ugh... Tomorrow is going to bite with this "Team" and the fact that I sort of ran too much today, the Purrloin looked at...
Bastet, now wearing the bag given by the guild, was fumbling with her new badge as she walked through the corridors to the team's room as directed. "This is really intriguing, my hometown didn't really have much of a guild or anything close to it. The closest were the territorial Pokemon that...
Bastet mumbled to herself. There are other team leaders in the room right now it seems, most likely they're all recruits as well. She couldn't take a chance with them. The Mawile -- Mina would seem the most logical choice seeing as she's the only team leader she has actually met. The issue is...
Sorry for the late response, school. Also, that's nice! I wish I could travel there. I'm not from the Philippines, but my family is from there. Really, I'm just familiar with the culture, so I ended up learning some of the language and that joke came to be when I heard of the food. :P
Bastet smirked as the Mawile left. Heeding the Pokemon's advice, she soon trailed after her. She walked in, noticing others -- most likely they were recent recruits. While walking past, she decided to sit in the back of the room with a slight curiosity.
Yeah... It's a joke on another language and a type of food. 'Ube' is a type of purple yam that is eaten in the Philippines (in my opinion, it's bitter and sour), plus it translates to the word 'purple' in the Philippines' native tongue.
"'Wish Village'? That's the name of this pla--" She paused, the sudden announcement seemed to freak her out. What was that about?
"What's with that sound I just heard? And a 'Guild'?" Bastet asked. Suddenly, a curious thought came to her. 'A Guild'...
With the recent issue of the corruption and...
The Purrloin appeared to be surprised as she encountered Mina. It fell on the ground as well. Her fur was now covered with a more noticeable amount of dirt on her hind legs, "It's fine. To be fair, I just got into town anyway." Bastet wiped her fur clean of dirt with her paws, her attempt was...
