    Kai would yawn, steam trailing out from his mouth. "... Tch... It's no use..." He trotted back into the forest following his scent trail back to his makeshift den, now noticing a different scent. "... A," He sniffed the unfamiliar scent. "A Sammurott..?" He cocked his head in a confused manner.

    He continued inching forward unaware that his scent was trailing behind him. "... Perhaps these Pokemon know where the Red Mountains are?" He thought to himself, a thoughtful look in his eyes. His claws dug into the soft earth below, relieving himself of stress.

    He inched toward the Pokemon, ears pricking when he saw the stone Pokemon. "...?" Kai's tail rose, smoke trailing out in thin streams. "... I wonder what's going on..." He narrowed his eyes, blue eyes seemingly glowing among the trees shadow.

    He ended back up in the same clearing, seeing the same Pokemon he had seen before. "... Tch. Same place..." He crouched beneath the tree's shadow, his charcoal pelt making him blend in.

    He awoke to the sound of trees crushing down. "... Wha-?" He snapped up and peered through the den entrance only to find that a large Trevenant made it's way through the forest in an angered way. "... A grass type!" He giddily sprinted in the Pokemon's direction with a fire in his eyes.

    His eyes glinted in the fire. "... Strange. What was a Greninja doing out here anyway...?" He shut his eyes and proceeded to fall asleep.

    Kai nodded. "I see." He spat a ember at the twigs, igniting them. "You best be going now, it's gonna be night soon." Kai slipped into his makeshift den and curled around the fire. His stripes on his charcoal coat glowed like the embers of a slow fire.

    "Making a temporary den, I'll find a better one later though." Kai turned back around and dug at the soft earth making a shallow hole. "Anyway, what're you up to?" Kai nudged some dry twigs into the hole.

    Kai padded toward the branches, re-arranging them into the form of a small den. "That'll do it." He took some nearby vines and tied the branches down to be sure they wont suddenly snap back up.

    He emerged from the bushes, only to find a single Pokemon standing in the clearing. "... Tch... Nothing much." He glanced up, now looking for a place to make his den. "Hm, maybe those low branches will do well for a den..."
