    Having them be 16 is fine, although I think they’d have to be born sometime in april. The term supposedly starts on the second week of april, so having their birthday be any time during the second week would make the age be appropriate. Might sound a bit confusing idk.     I believe first year students at UA range from 15-16, though I could be wrong. At first I had the misconception that in the anime they start at 14, but I don’t think that’s the case. I think currently most of the characters in the anime/manga would be 16 though. Edit: Just checked to be sure...
