    Adding on to what Teapot said... Plenty of people weren't even born when Pokemon first came out, or were very young when it did. Being introduced to Pokemon via Go is actually pretty normal, and it can easily be a gateway to playing other Pokemon games/watching the anime/playing the TCG/etc...
