    More likely than not, these games were being worked on at the same time as XY, so they could easily have copied over a lot of internal stuff and only really needed to work on crafting the look of the region.

    I pretty much completely agree. At this point, Grace already has Lenora's badge(I think Grace has 3 or 4 badges right now, need to check), but she would DEFINITELY go up and talk to people talking about archaeology. Overall, this sounds like a good plan and I like it. ^^
