Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
So, Fallout is over. Here's a quick summary of what's been set up for the relaunch:
Next week sees the launch of the new Ultimate line, with Ultimates #1. The week after that is Hawkeye #1. Both should be great jumping on points if you've never read the books before, or just haven't been a...
I'm only really interested in going back to one place (Sweden) and going to another at long last (Italy). The former because it's a beautiful and clean country with really nice people and I'd just love be back in that world again, the latter because I think I'd eat so much I'd literally burst...
I'd known about it and seen it in action, but it took wanting to try buying something from the DSi Store on my 3DS to get around to actually playing it myself.
As far as Tower Defense games go, it's a really engaging and enjoyable one. Kinda easy to get burned out on, but definitely fun enough...

I don't think you could have picked a worse example. :p
For starters, Sonic isn't an RPG character, so he's kind of irrelevant to this discussion anyway. Secondly, Sonic's character is so wildly different throughout the world and throughout different fans of different aspects of his former...
I think the point is that JRPGs have long since gone past the point where you're meant to be assuming a role in a world's story, to the point where you're assuming the same role in the same story every time.
Western RPGs have massively eclipsed them by managing to provide new kinds of stories...
I think it's time the world just gave up on Final Fantasy. It's been on a clear downward spiral for years and is now massively out of touch with the sensibilities of modern game design. It's a dinosaur in a world of flying cars. It's no wonder JRPGs have struggled so hard in recent years, their...
