Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
So far Little Cup seems to be the most popular choice by a considerable margin.
...yes, I am ignoring the people who voted and didn't post. Fuck the lot of you.
Unless a significant change occurs I think it's safe to say we'll be wrapping up 2014 with Little Cup on Pokemon Showdown.
Depends on the format. VGC doubles will be on Wi-Fi, Little Cup will likely be on Showdown in this case.
I tend to decide the format long before a tournament idea is ever made public, so for every tournament you'll be given ample notice for the format.
Just of note: If your preferred choice doesn't win this poll, it doesn't mean it won't ever be used. Odds are we'll end up holding the other options as tournaments later on in 2015 if desired, this vote will simply decide what format will wrap the year up.
Since we've always done things by popular vote here it's up to you guys to decide what tournament we will have to round off 2014. If you do vote in the poll please post in this thread explaining your choice - especially if you choose "Other" for obvious reasons.
I guess since I organize tournaments here I can field an answer. As with our Pokemon tournaments, everything is pretty much done through popular vote. If enough members want a Smash tournament on 3DS then one will be held, simple as that.
I've probably spoiled this one numerous times already...
May as well dig this topic up again since the 3DS game at least is actually out now.
First impressions of the roster:
- Captain Falcon and Bowser seem much stronger than their Brawl incarnations and stronger than ever in Bowser's case. Falcon is once again back to being the agile combo-based...
That's far from the only problem with this, some of the movesets are worse than dreadful, and show a lack of knowledge in the basics.
Read this topic, and edit your movesets accordingly:
