Freeze lay before Kemen, belly up, as soon as Daniel was done with his medicines. He rubbed her belly, as she began barking at Lopunny.

Daniel, meanwhile, restrained his rabbit nurse as she tried to pull him away from Kemen and Freeze.

Marowak stared at the battlefield. A birthday battle would be amazing so they were ready to watch.

"Alright! Go, Machoke!" Teiran said, sending out her big muscle Pokemon. "Ma- CHOKE!" Machoke said, as if to scream a battle cry. "You may go first, Mr. Birthday!" Teiran said, staring into his eyes, daring him to face the girl. This would be an interesting fight.

"Teiran give it your all!" Duke cheered. Given Nova had been cheering for Glacier, Duke felt it was only fair he'd cheer for Teiran. Though he naturally wanted both friends to have a good battle. Charizard also watched with Duke on the sideline.

Glacier sat down like his father. "Use Dragon Rush!" Glacier shouted. Garchomp surrounded himself in Draconic power and rushed toward Machoke. He knew Teiran would have Machoke counter and he already had a plan for that. He grinned and waited for the attack.

"Jump! And pounce!" Teiran ordered to Machoke, who nodded. He quickly lowered his legs, a glint in his eye, as he jumped high into the air, and flipped upside down, a fist in front of his head, as he prepared to pounce down onto Garchomp. Teiran straightened out her shirt, before returning her eyes to the battle.

Glacier's lit up as he saw opportunity. "Now! Draco Meteor!" Garchomp saw Machoke jump and turned upward. His mouth charged and fired a large meteor at Machoke.

 

[Imperfect World]

Teiran realized Glacier's mistake here. She smirked, as Machoke's fist hit Draco Meteor from inside Garchomp's mouth, making it explode in a bunch of tiny stardust pieces. Machoke's knuckle got hurt a bit, but his health was very minorly damaged. "Machoke, use Karate Chop!" But instead of Karate Chop, Machoke's arm took an unexpected turn, and he ended up aiming to slap his opponent. Wake-Up Slap! Teiran thought, identifying the move.

Garchomp was hit by the Draco Meteor and almost the Wake-Up Slap. "Underground! Now!" Glacier commanded. Garchomp went underground and moved around to make Machoke confused.

Daniel, meanwhile, didn't think that it was fair to show support one way or the other, since both now had someone cheering for them. Kemen didn't either, since he felt improper to choose favourites to root for. As the top performer in Nita, he had to keep his opinions to himself, both on stage, and in battle, unless he was judging the showcase...

 

[Imperfect World]

"Machoke, punch it!" Teiran said, pointing down. Machoke turned and nodded, and started pounding ferociously on the ground, making it shake. Teiran lost her balance and fell to the ground, as she bounced around, continuing to shake, but she didn't argue with Machoke for a second.

Before the quake could reach Glacier, he had to stop Garchomp from any further. "Garchomp! Now!" He commanded. Garchomp rose from the ground as soon as the quake hit. Glacier stumbled but stood his ground. He saw Nova fall over on Salamence and regained her balance. "Lets tip the scales! Garchomp!" He shouted. The dragon type jumped and flew just a few feet above the ground and fast too. "Fire Fang!" Garchomp's teeth began to be on fire and went straight for Machoke.

Fire Fang hit right into Machoke's arm, which did a decent mount of damage. "Use Wake-Up Slap!" Teiran said. She couldn't get enough of the new move that Machoke had learned.

(You do realize that Garchomp has Rough Skin as his ability right?)

Garchomp was hit by the wake up slap and stumbled back. He quickly recovered and awaited Glacier's command. "Get ready Teiran...we aren't holding this back any longer!" He shouted. Garchomp realized what was about to happen and went in front of Glacier. He tapped his Z-Ring and began his Z-move pose.

(Well, no, I didn't. I knew it was a ability of Garchomp, but not the ability of this certain Garchomp. I'm not an ability seer.)

Teiran stayed calm. She knew she needed to stay calm under pressure. It was Teiran's turn to play dirty. "Hit the ground." Teiran shouted. Machoke nodded, and started crazily pounding the ground, creating a giant shake from all over town. Teiran was planning to distract the two, make them bounce, like she was doing now, or all that she could to avoid the Z-move. But she had another plan if this one failed.

The ground shook underneath the duo but it wasn't stopping them. "Garchomp...lets have our hearts burn together in the largest flame!" Glacier shouted as he completed the Firium Z-Move Pose. Garchomp also had done it too because of their bond and was back into battle stance. "Inferno Overdrive!" He roared. Garchomp charged a large fire ball and released it at Machoke.

 

[Imperfect World]

"Down!" Teiran shouted, as Machoke understood, and dug its way into the ground, using its large hands. This kept it safe from Inferno Overdrive, and helped Machoke stay cool from all the mud. When he hopped in, he quickly dug himself up, cupping his hands around his mouth to keep a steady breath.

Glacier, furious that Inferno Overdrive didn't hit, he had a secret move on Garchomp that he had. "Sandstorm!" Glacier shouted, enraged. Garchomp kicked up dust and swirled it into a large sandstorm that covered the arena but only Garchomp could see.

 

[Imperfect World]

Machoke was still underground, so for now the sandstorm wasn't effective. "Grab it!" Teiran shouted, as Machoke dug its way to underneath Garchomp. It reached its hand up, in attempt to grab Garchomp's foot, and whirl it around, letting it go to make it fly across the arena. If that worked, it would at least have to take some damage to Garchomp.

"Fire Fang it!" Glacier shouted. Garchomp's fangs lit up again and went for Machoke's hand. His plan was for Machoke to think he had Garchomp's foot and try to throw it, then Glacier would surprise attack.

Machoke grabbed a flaming tooth, and immediatley let go, before pouncing out of the ground, aiming a punch at Garchomp's jaw, trying to close it with the strength of this mighty Machoke! Teiran nodded, before saying, "I believe in you, Machoke!"

"Counter with your fin!" Glacier commanded. Garchomp moved his right claw to have his face protected by the fin on his arm. "Now get ready to release it..." He muttered.

Machoke got hit by the fin, cutting his cheek pretty badly. Although it was bleeding, Machoke gave no sign of aggression, and kept throwing punches at Garchomp. Teiran's words got to him, and he wasn't going to let her down.

Garchomp kept blocking the punches from Machoke. His mouth was wide open as he waited deliberately for the command to fire. "Hit it hard!" Glacier shouted. Garchomp removed his fin and fired another Draco Meteor directly at Machoke. Though his special attack was down, it would still do some damage.

Machoke immediatley hit the meteor, blowing it up into a bunch of little sparkles, surprised that Glacier didn't recognize his own mistake. Glacier had done this before, and Machoke did the same thing. Machoke kept punching, trying to catch it off guard, and Teiran didn't need to say a word.

"Keep blocking! And then--" Glacier began to command when he was interrupted with an idea. He grinned sinisterly. Garchomp was in trouble as he kept blocking and he looked back at Glacier's expression and grinned. He allowed Machoke to keep hitting his fins until..."Hit it!" Glacier shouted. Garchomp steered around fast and tried to trip Machoke with his tail.

 

[Imperfect World]

"Just like Jump rope." Teiran ordered, as Machoke jumped over the tail, and threw a punch. The idea was to hit Garchomp harshly from behind. Teiran crossed her finger, hoping that Garchomp would get hurt. He was blocking attacks here and there.

"Dragon Rush escape!" He shouted. Garchomp used Dragon Rush to escape Machoke's punch. He turned when he was a safe distance from him. The sandstorm had dissipated and both Pokemon could see so that was Machoke's win.

 

[Akio and Cubone]

Akio watched the battle intently, Dragon rush escape sounded like a good strategy.
"Marowak Ma Maro!" (Glacier is good!)

Meanwhile, Dartrix had evolved and had learned Spirit Shackle. Lurantis was confined with the manacle and Fletchinder was hacking away at it with Steel Wing and Flame Charge. A Trumbeak was called and it was attacking Decidueye. The Grass type dodged everything and eventually knocked out the Trumbeak.
It was time for the final attack.
"Flame Charge and Spirit Shackle! Use all of your power!"
The attack exploded on the Lurantis, knocking it out and removing the cuffs. "Great job, young man," Mallow said to him, handing him a green crystal. Grassium Z. He picked it up with excitement.
"Yes, I got Grassium Z!" he cried.

 

[Imperfect World]

"Machoke! Full force punch!" Teiran shouted, as she raised a fist in the air. Machoke looked at Garchomp, and dashed forward, a first formed behind him so he could bring more force, veins glowing in sweat and determination. It go really close and in a split second aimed its fist up and at accuracy so keen, in Teiran's opinion, Machoke's fist would go smashing onto Garchomp's head, hopefully.

(Don't you mean Focus Punch?) "Dragon Rush back at it!" Glacier commanded. Garchomp turned around and used Dragon Rush but his Draconic power went into his claws instead of his whole body. Dragon Claw...Dragon Rush was a good move but now that Dragon Claw is here, I can counter the punches more easily. Glacier thought. Garchomp charged at Machoke and user Dragon Claw to counter the punch.

(No, it wasn't a move. It was a command, like how I had Machoke dig into the ground?)

"Duck!" Teiran commanded, as Machoke ducked, and aimed another powerful fist at its face. Teiran crossed her fingers. Garchomp almost never got hit, so Teiran hoped Machoke would at least hit Garchomp once.

Garchomp was smacked but the punch by Machoke doing damage but Rough Skin would have to do damage to Machoke because of physical contact. Garchomp then retreated in front of Glacier.

 

[Imperfect World]

Teiran waited for Glacier's move, for it was his turn. "Your move, B-day boy!" Teiran said jokingly, as she gave Glacier a smirk. Meanwhile, Machoke cracked his fist, in the way a bully would do. Rough Skin didn't do anything to Machoke, for the strength in its fist was so fast, he couldn't feel a thing from he impact.

(This is like Pokken Tournament but Machoke isn't a Machamp yet.)

Garchomp glared at Machoke with pure hatred and waited for the command. "Sandstorm..." Glacier said silently. He'd never been this determined to beat anyone before. Garchomp released a Sandstorm for only he could see.

Jonathan put the crystal in his ring and headed for the group. He was going to exclaim his prevail, but Teiran and Glacier were in a battle. He sent out Crabrawler again so it could learn more battle strategies. It wasn't the weakest Poke` Mon, it was just the only one who hadn't undergone evolution at that point.

Machoke didn't hear what Glacier had said, and neither did Teiran. Machoke didn't even see anything, but he sure felt it. The sand flew into the scar on the side of his cheek, which caused him pain. It stung, but Machoke wasn't giving up. "Apparently attack isn't doing us much and Machoke isn't amazing with speed...." Teiran said to herself, so no one could hear. Then she snapped her fingers, as a strategy came into her head. "Wait. That is the move I choose to use. Just wait." Teiran said, folding her arms. Machoke just waited there like Teiran said, but he was confused by what her plan was.

Daniel watched intently, as Plusle, thankfully, kept still. The troublesome pokemon didn't seem to want to get involved this time, much to his relief...

"All right Garchomp....we've been holding out on this. Draco Meteor and chomp on it." Glacier commanded. Garchomp was about to fire the meteor at Machoke but instead ate it and obtained the boost from it. Garchomp's began to surround himself in Draconic Power that boosted Dragon Claw slightly.
