(Getting right to the point, this is a Medieval Pokemon RP. There are three kingdoms you can choose to join, if you so wish. The kingdoms will be discussed in the lore. For more details and for joining the RP, go to the discussion thread.)

Long ago, in the world of Pokemon...
There was an island, and on that island was a small, pink Pokemon. This Pokemon had three children who he cherished like they were hers by birth. They technically were, but that is another story. These three children were the young Pokemon known as... Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip. The Pokemon were all very different, but they were brothers. Not by birth, but by love. When they each evolved, the pink Pokemon left the island - but not before leaving behind many temples. This would be her way of keeping the island where her children lived in her sight at all times. However, the Pokemon started to fight. The island was theirs by right - the pink Pokemon had been the ruler and they were the inheritors. So they inherited the land. The three Pokemon each had a piece of the land. Grovyle the west, Combusken the east, and Marshtomp the south. Eventually, two of the brothers wished to take the others' land. Combusken wished to have the combined power of all three kingdoms, as Marshtomp wished for the collective knowledge. Grovyle would not back down and let his brothers take over his land, so he and those who followed and respected him formed into a kingdom to hold an organized defense against all who would do him and his followers harm. To do this, Grovyle evolved into someone who could lead his kingdom. And so Lord Sceptile and his Kingdom of Unyielding Courage rose. The other two followed suit, not wishing to be the lesser force. lord Blaziken and the Kingdom of Eternal Power began the war against Lord Swampert and his Kingdom of Everlasting Wisdom. Lord Sceptile was forced to enter the fray for the sake of his kingdom. And so the War of Values began.
Decidueye, loyal retainer of Lord Sceptile, flew towards the high throne room of the castle. Perching on the windowsill, he was partially relieved to see his lord was training.
"Sir Decidueye. What seems to be the matter?" Sceptile asked his retainer.
"It's the Kingdom of Eternal Power, milord!" Decidueye said, frantic. "They've launched an attack directly on the castle!"
"WHAT?!" Sceptile shouted, shocked. He dashed towards the window, Decidueye flying out of his way. The Lord jumped out, and his retainer grabbed his hands with his claws as they had trained many times before. "Where is Sir Greninja?"
"Leading the defense out there, milord!" Decidueye said, flying towards the battlefield.
"Is my brother leading the attack?"
"Nay! Lord Blaziken is nowhere near the battlefield, milord! It appears the enemy forces are being led by one of your brother's retainers." Decidueye replied.
"That's good." the Lord said. "We're not going to leave them to fight alone. We're going to fight beside our forces!"
