Adventures in Saffron

Tero nodded as one of the girls, Kasumi, introduced herself. He then spoke:

"I'm Tero, from Origin Towne in the Quintien region." He indicated the Castform perched on his shoulder. "And this is Castform. Though I've worked with a multitude of Pokémon as a lab assistant, he's the first I've actually owned." The Castform reared itself up to its full height, which was still only about a foot or so, and let out a happy cry of "Popo!"

He indicated the girl beside him. "And this is Belle, from Erstwhite City, also in Quintien. Her grandmother, Blanche, runs the Gym there as a trainer of Normal-types, and Belle hopes to fill her shoes someday. She's traveling with me to study the various Gym Leaders and their methods of training and battling. The Smeargle with her actually belongs to her grandmother, but she's caught a few Pokémon of her own."

Both Belle and Smeargle bowed their heads slightly as the former spoke. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Kasumi."

Tero grinned. "I second that opinion."

Kasumi liked these two, and though slightly surprised by Tero's occupation and awed by Belle's dreams of becoming a gym leader, she already knew within herself she would remember these two for a long time to come.

"It's awesome to meet you too! I'm happy you liked our battle so much," she beamed and without meaning to drew invisible shapes on the ground with the toe of her trainer. "Actually, would either of you happen to have seen two other kids around here? A boy with jet black hair; a girl with a huge hat? About my age?"

Kasumi felt stupid for having forgotten the initial reason she had sought Larelle's aid in the first place. Both Belle and Tero contemplated the information for a minute before Kasumi figured that she would have to become a hermit living in a cardboard box at the end of Larelle's street until Max and Soul found her.

"Being a hermit can't be that bad can it?" she thought out loud, though hopefully not loud enough for anyone to hear.

She was loveably mad like that.

Tero scratched the back of his head again, looking at Belle.

"Ah, no...we haven't seen anyone matching that description, I don't think."

Belle confirmed his statement by shaking her head.

"We've only just arrived in Saffron, and were taking a look around when we stumbled across you two having a Pokémon battle."

She added with a frown, "Sorry."

For the next few moments, Larelle was in deep concentration. Going freelance and taking the trainer journey would be a break from her father's constant judgement and hurtful remarks. Plus, she welcomed new experiences, and with a few travel companions it would be even more pleasant.

She brushed away the mini dress from her waistline, exposing a black belt with two pokeballs. One was rather dusty yet unbattered, and the other was rather shiny and cleaned. Tangela couldn't help releasing a vine and patting the clean pokeball to show that Larelle had chosen that one for it.

"My uncle's very different from my father," Larelle began, as she clutched the dusty pokeball to clean it. "He was a trainer himself, until his back got the better of him But he gave me this 4 years ago, when I was ten. I was worried that whatever was inside would be angry if I left this decision too long but he told me it had already been explained. He said I wasn't to open it until I decided to start my journey. He knows what his brother is like about Pokemon so I understand why he said it. My father would have flipped with two pokemon running about the place."

"I don't know what this pokemon's going to be," she continued, slightly hesitant. "I hope it's something I can handle."

Gently, she chucked the pokeball into the air, activating it's release. A yellow, standing pokemon (with a rather groovy moustache) emerged, looking very serious before staring at Larelle with a curious look. It's head tilted to one side in thought, before moving straight again, all the while clucthing a metal spoon.

"Omigosh!" Larelle squealed, rather excitedly. "It's a cute little Kadabra!"

With one arm around a good friend and the other arm around a new aquaintance, the female gave both pokemon a huge, friendly hug.

Tero grinned as the Psi Pokémon appeared from within its Pokéball.

"A Kadabra! That's a good and fast one. Powerful, too, with the right amount of training."

He gave Larelle a thumbs-up, with Castform trying to mimic his stance, as always. "Your uncle gave you an excellent Pokémon."

Kasumi's eyes gleamed, and she made an immediate dart for the Kadabra, examining it close, with a curious expression marring her face, though her blue pupils danced happily at seeing this Pokémon up close for the first time.

She was always curious to learn about new Pokémon and Larelle's were no exception.

"I totally agree!" She piped gleefully as she released the Kadabra from her loving embrace. It backed closer to Larelle, confused by the hyperactive blonde girl who was intent on hugging it. "Kadabra's a very strong Pokémon when trained right. I guess since it's yours now he'll be an awesome Poké-power~"

Again, she noticed one of the Pokéballs on her belt was wriggling agitatedly and gave it a hefty glare, which even through the red visor she knew her Pokémon could see. The wriggling ceased.

Tero, Belle, and their Pokémon companions eyed the formerly twitching Pokéball curiously, as Bellespoke:

"Heh, what's in that 'ball, and why is it shaking like that?"

Kasumi tried to act as calm about it as possible.

"Well, heh, y'see..." she coughed, with a hint of nerves showing through her tone. "One of my Pokémon gets highly curious and protective of me sometimes... He just needs to be told I'm ok. He thinks Kadabra is a threat that's all."

She flashed a reassuring smile at the two trainers when all of a sudden she felt her PokéGear vibrating in her pocket. Grateful that she'd finally managed to get a signal amongst the concrete forest, she flipped it open and read the message in fine black print and smiled.

Trust you to get lost, Kas!
We've just gone into the shopping center- meet us there in ten and we'll head to the next town.
Max.

Tero watched with interest as Kasumi produced a Pokégear.

"Oh, hey, that's a Pokégear, isn't it? Belle and I have our own as well."

Tero pulled his Pokégear, which was colored dark blue, from his pocket, and Belle drew her white Pokégear from her backpack.

Tero grinned at Kasumi. "Don't suppose you'd like to trade numbers, eh? Just in case we're ever in each other's neighborhoods or something."

Formerly Karu
Karu came from the Pokemart with readied supplies, Cherry chomping down on treats with his one-time travel bag now full with goods and even a couple of souveneirs to serve as memoirs of this trip. Hopefully something would make this rather worthwhile such as a new friend or even a new companion. Hell, even the local gym badge wouldn't kill him.

Giving a shrug the brunette strolled back in the direction he'd previously left from, now in a much better mood having downed a bottle of water and some sugary products in the store. PAcing down the street with a small smile and much more cheery disposition in his partner too, the trainer stopped at the corner to evaluate things.

A Kadabra had come into play, no doubt it would sense him and Cherry soon enough. Giving a shrug and indifferent comment of, "Meh, makes no difference." The trainer brough out his own blue-screened black-rimmed pokegear and checked his radio.

"No service in this region." He commented to Cherry, flashing the sheen coated pokemon the screen as it looked up from it's mostly devoured pokeblock bar. The pokemon snorted with a small spark of flame licking into the air before fading into tiny grey smoke. Nodding in acknowledgement Karu felt that no doubt the creature was presenting something along the lines of 'No wonder'.

Pocketing the device he took in a deep breath and crossed over to the group, pausing just a few steps before contact with hesitancy gripping him in what he would actually say or do. Even a mild cold sweat ran over his pale skin...

Larelle couldn't help being impressed by the Pokegear, despite the fact she really didn't know what they did. Even though her father made a lot, there was no chance in Arceus' coming that he'd ever get her one, and her uncle was a trainer of the older times, when Pokegear didn't exist. She wondered if it was possible to get one now she was wanting to start a journey but new technology often cost a bomb and she was never allowed any big money unless she told her father what it was for.

She couldn't help feeling secure with the small batch of pokemoney in her pocket, however she wasn't about to let slip that she had it or else things would get chaotic. Her Tangela had a habit of wanting to play with anything and everything, just like it had done with the Everstone.

The Everstone. It stopped Tangela from evolving but what about Kadabra? Would she have to seek out another one so it could stay as it was? Larelle had nothing against Alakazam but with something that had an IQ of over 5000, she wouldn't help feeling dumb around it. Plus she couldn't trust herself not to start relying on it 24/7 for all the answers. She felt a little dumb to ask about it now but it had to be done.

"Guys....I have a question," she started, forcing herself to carry on. "How does Kadabra evolve, exactly?"

Tero stroked his beard as he tried to remember.

"Kadabra...I believe that one evolves through trade with another Trainer. Something about the trade machine speeds up its genes or something, I don't quite know."

He shrugged.

"N'yeah heh~" Kasumi grinned, finishing punching her number into Belle's PokéGear and handing it back to her.
"Now I can call you guys; cool!"
It was around about this point she remembered Max's message and got to work replying.
He would want to know where she was when he left the mart, she was sure.

Tero had just finished answering Larelle's question and Kasumi tapped his shoulder with his nifty coloured PokéGear.
"Tero-chan," she hummed happily.

But once again, her Pokéball was beginning to shift and she frowned in deep concern this time.

"He never makes this much of a fuss," she said aloud. "Something must be cooking..."

She glanced up and caught Larelle's eye.

"What's up with him?" Larelle couldn't help asking as Kasumi was looking at her, and frankly, beginning to freak her out. "And why are you staring at me like that?"

It seemed to be only Kasumi's pokemon that had any problems, as Tangela and Kadabra seemed absolutely fine. For their respective species, anyway. Kadabra was turning it's back on Tangela but it was expected by a psychic-type. Many of them weren't known for their desire to socialise.

Suddenly, without warning, a powerful, black motorcycle rushed past them at high speeds, knocking up grit from the road. The driver hit the brakes hard; only just managing to avoid crashing into the brickwork of Larelle's house. Clad in black leather from top to toe, they swiftly dismounted their vehicle, only to take off their helmet.

Soon, a rather tall, dark and wavy-haired man was approaching them with a rather welcoming look towards Larelle. She returned the expression as she suddenly grabbed hold of him, but soon stopped when she remembered the other trainers present. Blushing slightly, she turned to them to explain the whole situation.

"Guys and gals...this is my older brother."

"Hi," he said, waving a hand in the air. "The name's Corban."

"He travels," said Larelle, even sounding a little jealous. "So he isn't home a lot to endure Mr Grumpy." She had a look that was obviously referring to her father.

Kasumi hadn't seen Corban pull up, as she had her back to the group and was examine her Pokéball anxiously.

"What?" She hissed. "there's nothing wrong with Larelle, or Tero or Belle and certainly not their Pokémon! Calm down your making me look like a psycho!"

Angrily, she forced the orb into her backpack and swivelled once more to address the group, but was touched with surprise at the black clad figure that seemed to have magically appeared before them.
But her face spread into a familiar smile as she listened to what Larelle said.
Her brother travelled, yet the brunette didn't seem to step out much.

Kasumi became all the more eager to convince her to travel.

Tero looked oddly at Kasumi. "Tero...what?" He and Kasumi, failed to notice the particular look Belle gave the latter.

However, all their attentions were soon diverted to the man on the motorcycle, Corban.

Tero and Castform raised hand and appendage in greeting, and Belle and Smeargle nodded their heads in recognition.

OOC: I just need to tell you guys, I'm away to Paris for 6 days and as far as I can see will be unable to post~ Please carry on until I get back whereby I can make my return.

BIC: Kasumi's PokeGear bleeped once more, and she knew that Max must be on his way. Thinking it best to meet her two companions, she thanked Larelle for the battle, grinned at Tero and Belle, and dashed off back around the street corner, where she bumped into a dark stranger.

"Watch it." they grunted.

"Sorry," she stuttered and broke into a speed walk. "Scary guy.." she murmured when she was out of earshot.

"What's her hurry?" asked Corban, curiously.

"She was originally looking for her two friends, and then we kinda got caught in a battle...."

"You were battling outside the house?!" Corban sounded surprised yet disappointed. "You know what Dad gets like, especially when---" his lecture was cut short when he properly noticed Castform. Smiling, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a rather battered pokeball, tossing it gently up into the air.

As the bright light faded from the release, a familiar shape emerged from the pokeball. It gave a friendly greet as it rushed over to Castform. If you'd never met the two pokemon before, you wouldn't have been able to tell one from the other.

Corban had a Castform too.

"The little guy's been an extreme help when I'm out and about," he explained. "I use his form to judge whether it's ok or not to carry on. You made a great choice, kid." He was referring to Tero, giving a nod as he spoke.

He then turned to Belle and Smeargle, equally as impressed.

"I had a friend back in Mossdeep who'd come over from Goldenrod. Very artistic. He had a Smeargle to help him with his artistry, though his wasn't as well raised as yours." Corban had a good eye for training and health, so if he complimented a pokemon, what he'd said was true about them.

Her older brother's knowledge of pokemon and the sights he'd seen...it was making Larelle more eager than ever to leave Saffron and start on her own journey.

Tero grinned, mentally bristled that he was being called a "kid." But he pushed this thought out of his mind.

"I didn't really have a choice in picking Castform. My start was a bit off-season, so Professor Evergreen didn't have a Water-type, a Fire-type, or a Grass-type to choose from. But the professor still wanted to let me begin my journey, so she gave me this Castform and told me to make notes of its growth."

He nodded to it. "So far it's growing up beautifully."

Belle inclined her head, a slight flush rising in her cheeks. "Thank you for the kind words, but they should be addressed to my grandmother. I've just been traveling with it and with Tero on his journey."

Just then, Kadabra caught Corban's eye. It kept staring at him in a rather intent manner, but it wasn't a malicious look.

"I see you want to start on your journey then if you released Uncle Harlow's pokemon," he said, with a mixture of surprise and excitement. "What happened? You have enough of Dad?"

"Dad's a prick." spat out Larelle, quite disgusted. She wasn't in any hurry to remember any times with him, good or bad.

Ignoring her comment, Corban once again pointed out Tero and Belle.

"I think it would be cool to travel with these two," he said, smiling at his younger sister. "and that other girl too, if she comes back. I'll come with you! It's been a long time since I had any human company."

OOC: Amy-chan is back, desu!!
But I'm trying to work a French keyboard so I apologise in advance for any mistakes...

BIC: "Is she going to meet us; or has she followed some Caterpie to the ends of the earth?" a boy with jet black hair spoke, but he ,eant it in good nature and continued to wait patiently for his blonde haired companion.
Beside him, a girl with whispy brown locks grinned at him and hugged her Flaaffy closer. She kept tilting her head towards the street corner to her left, and fiddling with the braces on her denim dungaree shorts.

"This is Kas we're talking about," she giggled as the electric-type mewled for attention. "She may be easily distracted, but she'll find us, Max."

Max nodded, still smiling and it was true that within that same instant, a hyper-active blonde came screechign around the corner that the brunette had tilted her head at, out of breath but beaming nonetheless upon spotting her patient companions. Max flinched a little as she yelled out.

"Maaaaaax!!"

Kasumi jumped and threw her arms around his neck, swiftly pulling the other girl into her excited embrace and squealing happily. "I missed you!! Don't leave me again!!" she wailed.

"Us leave you?" Max snorted in mock disbelief. "You ran off on your own to find the Gym, remember? Isn't that right, Soul?"

The brunette ruffled the tiny tuft of hair that poked out from underneath Kasu,i's cap and laughed heartily. Setting Flaaffy down, she let the sheep Pokemon scamper off to play with the tassles on Kasu,i's bag, who gently caressed her white fluff.

"It's ok now, Max. We're all together now, so let's head on up to the Gym for your battle."
"Sure thing," Max's butterscotch eyes glittered at the thought of a battle. "That sound good to you,Champ?"

When they both turned back to Kasumi, she deadpanned. "CRAP!!" she yelped.

"Who'd you forget to pay?" Soul asked, suddenly worried and speaking upon both instinct and past experience.

"No, no! I just forgot to say goodbye properly to Larelle- this girl I battled-, so I wanna head back to her house and talk for a while!" She took off running, still clutching tight to Souls's Flaaffy's cotton like head.

"Kasumi-chan! Kasumi-chan, please let go of Static!" Soul screeched frantically. Finally registering the tiny electric shocks running up the length of her arm, she released Static and came to a semi-halt at the end of the street, hopping from foot to foot.

"'S'cool, Kas! We'll co,e with you. Maybe she'll wanna battle us too?" Max sighed, running a hand through his night sky fringe. "Explain to us on the way, 'kay?"

"Awesome-!" and again, she was off.

Tero scratched the back of his head, looking to Belle.

"What do you think, Belle? Should we expand our party to...what, five? Be an awful lot of mouths to feed..."

Belle seemed to think for a moment, then spoke:

"I think they should come with us, Tero. It's not fair to deny them the experience and the opportunity."

Tero grinned at her. "Couldn't have said it better myself."

He turned back to Larelle and Corban.

"You're free to come with us, then. I'll extend the offer to Kasumi if she comes back to join us."

"That's great!" chirped Larelle. "I can't wait to get---Corban, why are you looking at me like that?" She couldn't help feeling a bit freaked out when her eyes made contact with her brother's heavy stare.

"You know why." was the blunt response.

Larelle couldn't understand what he was getting at at first. When it finally clicked, her mood darkened.

"NO," she said, rather defiantly. "This would be the best wake-up call for him if I just left. Maybe then he'd see the error of his ways---"

"Larelle, Dad's never going to change. He's a man set in his ways. I'm sorry about what you've had to put up with, and even though he rarely shows it...he still loves you."

Despite his tender speech, Larelle was still looking at him like he was a madman. Turning his back on her, Corban couldn't help sighing. His younger sister had often been a stubborn one, but usually he'd been able to get round her and make her change her views on the situation. But with the Dad scenario, she was looking like a tough egg to crack.

Rolling his eyes the trainer turned on his heel, facing Cherry. "Ever wonder if some people were incapable of seeing anyone..?" His companion gave a snort of sarcastic agreement and paced off towards the nearest hotel they'd seen. Karu whistled a somewhat upbeat tune as they paced through the streets although he felt somewhat down.

Glancing down to his belt an idea struck like lightning through fresh rain, his other friend could join them on their walk. Giving a chuckle as he tossed the pokeball into the air the black haired teen merely said - not called out, "Come on out, dragon girl." As those blue eyes watched the sphere slow in the air a smile formed as it split open in a small storm of petals with the cry of his Dragonair coming from behind the blossom. "Easy now ..." He added as she gently glided down through the air and rested about his shoulders, tail curling about his left arm and nuzzling his cheek before looking about with Karu catching the falling pokeball casually.

The precious thing had developed the habit as a Dratini... Karu would not discourage her. It was cute. Messing with the tip of her tail as he walked he smiled broadly with Cherry dashing ahead, pausing at the corner of the street and turning about to call out with what his trainer knew was a kind of glee.

"... and that's when I ran into you two again."

Kasumi had just finished her long winded story of her encounter with Larelle and Tangela, along with Tero and Belle and her Pokeball's strange reaction to the sudden commotion of trainers and Pokemon.

"You doughball! Can you not keep still for a minute?" Max teased, tossing her cap into the air, to which she recoiled with a soft frown and pout that both he and Soul laughed at. "Are we getting near her street? We've been walking up this hill a while."

Kasumi gave a faint smile and without glancing at the plated street name to her left, she nodded.

Shrugging, Max happily turned the corner and into the street where a small cluster of trainers and Pokemon where gathered and babbling in a mash. His eyes glittered at the interesting types before him, as well as the Tangela and blank faced brunette Kasumi was excited to once been untied with again.
The prospect of battle was already burning in his mind as he spotted who he could only assume to be Tero, with his Castform and had to contain the excitement within himself.

He was having Kasumi like symptoms recently, wanting to battle at any given opportunity. But he wasn't as weird as his azure eyed companion, and if he was to battle Larelle it would be with a mach up in his favour.

"Looks like there's a party here, Soul! Wow! Maybe they all collect gym badges," his voice trailed off as he looked back to find Soul staring absently after a figure shuffling away with a winding dragon-type coiled over his frame.

"Hmmm..." was all she said, before carefully taking Static's paw and leading her forward to greet Kasumi's new friends.

Belle was the first to notice Kasumi and her friends approaching.

"Ah, here they are."

Tero turned toward the approaching group as well. He briefly wondered how in the heck he was going to be able to feed seven potential mouths, but then he caught the eyes of the boy in the trio. The boy seemed to be staring almost hungrily at Tero's Castform, and he intuited that the boy wanted to do battle with him.

Tero broke out into a large grin, raising a hand in greeting to Kasumi and her friends.

Kasumi immediately waved back, and not long after, Max and Soul joined in.

"They seem friendly!" Max commented, noticing Tero's wide grin. Soul nodded.

"They're really nice, but I think Larelle was wanting to set off travelling somewhere. We suggested it to her after our match." Kasumi had left out the part where there involved shouting and door slamming. It wasn't her place to speak of it.

"You mean with the other two kids?" Soul asked quietly, picking up Static who nuzzled into her trainer's arm. "I mean; not to be mean..."

Kasumi patted her shoulder and smiled. She knew that Soul meant she didn't like extra additions to her group. The brunette was positive that meant more competition between herself, Kasumi and Max. Her two companions didn't point out the fact that she was the one who would probably be most popular. Soul was naturally very pretty.

"Let's see what they have to say first." Kasumi threw Max an excited glance. "Then we battle."

"Works for me!" he whooped.

Feeling eyes on his back Karu initially dismissed it unti a faint growl into his ear from his 'beau' told him somebody had seen him. "Alright," came his response, "Thank you." Turning about and pacing down the street towards the other trainers he smiled a smile with just a hint of glee in it. "I take it you want to fight me?" His pace quickened with some degree of excitement before sudden stop a mere meter from the one who had stared.

Motioning for Cherry to come to him he pointed at the starer, the small creature's blue fur and flame near a blur as he darted to his trainer's side with pride-deserving speed.

Karu's smile broadened, "My friend here is prized for his agility and raging inferno of flames. Though if I have misunderstood... I apologise." Giving a nod of his head in apology he toyed with Eingana's tail once more whilst awaiting a response.

OOC: I'm not ignorant, he just didn't hear any of the conversation from the other end of the street x3

OOC: Yay, Karu's found is tongue!<33

BIC: Soul kept the same expression throughout the strange boy's confrontation, while Max and Kasumi stared at the black haired figure in surprise.
Keeping her gaze steady, Soul bent down and gently began to stroke the tip of the Quilava's nose. It let out a low growl at first, but seemed to stiffly accept the touch in the end.

"The offer to battle you is kind," Soul smiled. "But I'm afraid I don't fair well against a trainer as strong as yourself."

As she continued to stroke the fire type, Kasumi let out a thoughtful little yelp. If such a thing existed.

"Oh! You're that boy I ran into before!" she began to frantically scratch at her cap nervously. "Terribly sorry about that, I was scared that these two would leave me if I didn't find them quick."

Soul brushed a strand of whispy brown hair from her eyes to see the raven haired boy's expression.
She heard in Kasumi's voice that she clearly saw nothing of fault about him, but Max's silence betrayed him.

Kas would pick up on it eventually, but Soul could tell without looking that he did not like this boy one little bit.

Quilava sensed this too and withdrew from Soul's touch at the negative vibe her companion gave off.

She sighed.

"It's not a problem, not at all." His tone wasn't exactly sympathetic per se, just casual. A few thoughts ran through his head and with a smile he turned to Eingana, she tilted her head with knowledge of a plan in his eyes. Eyes finding the trainers again he continued, "I do appreciate the compliment but my team is always up for battle if you change your mind."

Eingana rolled her eyes, she knew there was much more to this and so did Cherry, judging by a more than gleeful grin on his face. "Karu, by the way." The dark blue eyed male nodded. "Yes, just Karu..." Meh, he didn't need those family members back in Goldenrod anyway. Giving a mental dismissal of those thoughts he awaited a reply, toying with his Dragonair's tail once more.

"Sounds great~" Soul laughed musically, standing once more and sliding and arm around her friends. Her smile lingered happy and calm as she nodded to Karu. "Your offer stands? Well, I hope one day soon someone will take you up on it."

Kasumi agreed with a quick grin, while Max grunted in slight distaste, to which his female companions nudged him for.

"Catch you later, man!" Kausmi called back, as the three simply spun on their heels, called out to Tero,Belle and Larelle and set off down the street once more.

Not even a backward glance was ushered more as they neared the group.

"Guys! Sorry I left suddenly; but I want you to meet some friends of mine," Kasumi drew up to Tero and pushed him forward slightly, so he was face to face with Max. "I get the feeling one of them wants a battle~"

OoC: I'm joining~ Please take care of me. ;)
@Koishi - Sorry, my reply was delayed. D;

Diana sighed. At blinding speed, she was rushing toward the streets of Saffron; while her jet-black twin braids rushing through the air as if they were flying, she brought out her Pokegear.

"It's this time already?!", she yelled in dismay. "I'm late, two hours late!"

Diana tried to bring herself to move faster, but she knew shouldn't move any faster, in order not to injure herself and make herself any later, and to avoid colliding with a person and get someone else hurt.

However, time kept on ticking. As Diana was pushing herself to rush past the Saffron City corner, she noticed a group of good-looking trainers. The one right in front of her was young man with his back turned. He also had jet-black hair, and he was alongside what seemed like a Dragonair and a Quilava.
He seemed to be requesting the group for a battle, but he didn't notice that Diana was right behind him.
She was already running too fast, she wasn't able to make herself stop!

"Please move out of the way!", Diana screamed. "If you don't, I'll-"

*BOOM!*
*CRASH!*

OoC: Please tell me if I did something wrong, thank you~

Tero grinned as the boy was pushed toward him.

"So, you'd like to battle, eh? I tell you, I'm itching for a--"

Suddenly a cry came from somewhere up the street. Tero, Belle, and presumably the rest looked toward where the sound had originated.

"Please move out of the way! If you don't, I'll--!"

A dark-haired girl had just run into another boy with likewise jet-black hair.

"Oh, jeez." muttered Tero under his breath. He called out to them. "Hey, you guys all right over there?"

Kasumi couldn't help but laugh, while Max stared on in dismay, Soul in mild bewilderment. But she too, began to quietly giggle to herself.

"This is turning out to be like a party!" the blonde chuckled as Tero called out to the two who had clashed.

Max was silently thinking to himself, Maybe that will wipe the smug smile offa that guy's face? Soul nudged him as his eyes sparkled with a little of child malice but he couldn't help himself.

"C'mon Tero-chan, let's give 'em a hand~" Kasumi said, sighing as her laughter died down on her tongue. She tugged the taller boy along to where the two dark haired teenagers were sat, and- as the inner gentleman she knew she was (OOC:lolwhut? xD)- Kasumi offered her hand to the girl, who was rubbing her head and mumbling incoherent words of pain to herself.

"That was some fall," Kasumi noted sympathetically. "...And some charge to cause it!"

Diana fell on to the floor after she had collided with him. She rubbed her head, mumbling "Ow..." and completed her incoherent sentence;

"...get into a collision course with you."

The group of teenagers were all looking at her; she felt awfully nervous being around so many people. Some laughed, and some were rather bewildered.

A boy among the group called out to her and the guy whom she had collided into.

"Hey, you guys all right over there?", he asked.

"I'm fine!", she shouted back. "Sorry If I bothered you!"

The girl next to him said,

"This is turning out to be like a party!", and Diana smiled inside. She couldn't help but to agree with her.

One boy's eyes were sparkling... I wonder why?, Diana thought. But the girl next to him gave him a nudge, which probably didn't mean anything good... but he seemed to have quit on whatever that was for now.

One girl pulled the tall boy over and extended her hand. "C'mon Tero-chan, let's give 'em a hand~"

"That was some fall," she noted sympathetically, continuing with, "....And some charge to cause it!"

After taking the hand, I blurted out, "I'm sorry if I bothered you; my name is Diana."

She just realized- the boy she collided into! Was he okay? She turned over to him.

"I'm so sorry...were you and your Pokemon hurt?", Diana said with concern. Tears welled up in her eyes.

Atma

Formerly Karu
OOC Not a problem. I also got your back in this RP~

Eingana dashed into the air from his form, Karu hardly having time to so much as look confused and ask a question before connecting with the pavement, a stranger atop him.

Oh for the love of.. He though to himself. She also seemed to be taking the chance time of looking about before standing up. With a grumble he noticed the amused expressions of his pokemon, both concealing laughter. "Oh hush you two.." He began, interrupted by the girl. "Oh, yes. I'm alright.." It appeared she was an acceptable person after all. Maybe even worth a battle.

Wow. She was teary eyed. With a small chuckle he stood up and dusted himself off, Eingana coiling about him again and Cherry pacing along to his side. "No permanent damage. Hell of a greeting, mind you." He paused to check himself. Just a cut elbow.

The dark blue eyed male liked the apparant determination this girl had, such potential for compassionate battle too. "Karu." He offered up. "...And if it's no issue, your name?"

Tero stumbled along as he was pulled to the fallen boy and girl by Kasumi, again missing a particular look shot his way by Belle. His Castform floated off his shoulder, being careful not to be jostled too much and end up on the sidewalk.

"Ah, okay then..."

He paused. Was this girl about to cry as a result of running into this boy? He stepped back just in case the waterworks were about to be unleashed. His gaze turned to the boy's Pokémon: a Quilava and a Dragonair. He nodded approvingly, winking at his Castform.

"Ah, my name is Diana...", she replied, getting more tense every minute.
"I'm the youngest battle instructor for Silph Corporation." (OoC: Silph Co.)
She was about to burst in tears, and one of the boys stepped back. She told herself not to cry.

She noticed the cut on his elbow. "Sorry again!", while bowing to him. "It's my fault you got hurt..."

Diana took out two Pokeballs. She enlarged them; then released their seals. "Voltus!" "Lunatome!"

Lunatome, a Lunatone, was floating in midair, and the Water type Pokemon Lanturn; oddly enough, seemed to be fine on dry land.

"Lunatome, Skill Swap!"

A chain of psychic energy stood between the cut and the Water/Electric-type. Diana didn't dare to look at Karu. Was he nervous?

"Voltus!", she shouted. "Use...Thunderbolt!"

Diana turned away, signaling that she was scared. Lunatome was able to understand her emotions through telepathy; so in order not for the boy to be harmed by running away, Lunatome held him in midair with her Psychic abilities.
The flash of light ended, and Diana was brave enough to open her eyes again. The boy's cut had been fully healed!

She felt that people were gaping at her from behind, thinking that she was probably going to kill him.
She began explaining:
"Voltus has the ability Volt Absorb, so he is able to regain health when struck by an electric move. Therefore, when I used Skill Swap to give the ability to Karu-san; he was able to heal by Lanturn's Thunderbolt."

"It was my fault that you got hurt; so I had to do something.", Diana said in exasperation. Her Pokegear started ringing, and Diana picked up.

"WHERE WERE YOU?!", the voice bellowed. Diana flinched.

The voice started to rant about her lateness, and every word made her wince in embarrassment, especially when there were a group of people
around her her age, hearing every word of it.

"Um...as you can see, I'm very late..." Diana blurted out, rushing off to the next corner.

She stopped, looked at them, and yelled in a hurry, "Until we meet again!"
