Only that they're apparently the villains. I think they're a cross between Soul Reapers and Hollows? Like I said, I don't know much about the series. Only read the first two volumes manga-wise (aside from a couple other chapters from a shonen jump manga collection) and watched a small number of season 1 episodes.
Close, they're hollow that had their masks removed to gains Soul reaper like powers
