Mr. Miracle
Though it left him puzzled why exactly Mr. Krakatoa decided to just straight up assault the wall itself, he figured that since Ice was already in agreement with the literal hothead, Miracle thought it best not to question them. After all, he himself had to do as he always did best; get the civilians out of here.. well, as much of a civilian as Commander Kane could be. In the hero's eyes, anyone not actively participating in the fight against evil was a civilian - a bystander is a bystander after all, no matter what their background may be. Before the magician could think about flying off however, a familiar blue blur landed on the ground loudly, though sadly, it did not belong to a hedgehog..

"That's the guy I was talking about. Fast movement and guns are its specialty, far as I saw prior. Keep that in mind!"

Soon as he had spoken those words of advice to his allies, off stormed the performer, sailing through the air like a budget Clark Kent. Though he may not have the laser eyes or frosty breath of a Kryptonian, there was certainly another talent of his that Hagen knew would come in handy for this situation. Approaching the screens, Miracle flicked his right wrist. From the sleeve, out rolled another smoke bomb from his arm before the miraculous magician nodded to the Commander.

"Greetings Commander," Terry had spoke with a brief bow, having used his other hand to flip off his top hat for a stage performer's greeting before placing it atop his dome once more. "I am Mister Miracle, and I have with me the power to turn magic tricks from smoke and mirrors to reality. If you can give me as accurate of an assessment of your current position from our own, I could teleport myself over to you and help your group out of here. I am going to need enough empty space for me to appear in, as well as a precise location." Miracle paused to glance over his shoulder at the ensueing fight, having raised one brow behind his mask with worry and concern but swiftly putting on his act on again. "Time is of the essence, so please be as quick as you can about it."

Terrence Boom
Terrence stood beside the door as Tracy peered through to get a better look at the factory floor. Despite the amount of people that were around, over a hundred in total, the coast seemed… fairly clear. Sure, people would mill about to take or move resources every now and then, but they seemed overall avoidable- if you could see them coming, of course, which Terrence was well-suited to.

Once the two men entered the elevator and they had a bit of time to finalize their plans, he looked to Tracy. They were about to split up, and while that could be seen as unwise, it gave them DOUBLE the opportunities to totally screw the Sumeragi over. Oh, and to gather more intel, of course, but she and Kiwi were probably way better suited for it than him. Dumb, textureless screens...

“I’ll go out and find Assembly 3 now- I’m going to see them way before they see me, so I shouldn’t run into any trouble. But… we could still use a way to contact each other if things get ugly over there, or in the Control Room. Preferably a way that won’t also alert everyone in this friggin’ factory- I don’t suppose either of you have like, a phone? Hm, but I don’t have a great data plan, and I don’t want to use Sumeragi Wi-Fi… imagine the viruses...”

As combat broke out in the room, Miracle turned his focus to Kane, explaining how he could help in their escape. The commander was silent for a few moments, likely wondering how exactly the superhero was capable of such feats on his own – though he soon gave a reply.

"Very well, Miracle," he spoke. "Teleporting thirty feet past that door should be good. There'll be enough space for you there."

With his directions given, Terry allowed the smoke bomb he'd just procured to burst, obscuring the man and allowing his Vanishing Act to warp him into the laboratory.

When the magician reappeared at his destination, he found himself in the of another fairly spacious room, though instead of the mostly scarlet coloration of the rest of the station, the laboratory's surfaces were predominantly violet in color. Various devices were located throughout the room, such as elaborate holographic computers, large test tube-like capsules, and advanced electrical equipment – though a great deal of it was currently out of power. Part of the room held a few more mundane items, mainly old photographs and a toy car big enough for a child to sit in.

Some debris was scattered throughout the laboratory, though far less than in other sections of the facility, speaking to the security of this particular room.

In front of Miracle, toward the center of the laboratory, stood a woman close in age to Kane, her hair tied into a ponytail that fell over her shoulder. Her attire was mostly white and green, consisting of a scientist uniform with a lab coat over it, as well as a high-tech green skirt, white socks, and black shoes. Her fingers had been dancing on the main console before her to little success, and she soon grabbed a large metal suitcase next to the console.

Kane Gardner stood nearby her, having previously been using one of the monitors to communicate with Miracle and the others. Shutting off the feed, he turned to face the magician. Some sort of advanced device was attached over his shoulder, and he held a blaster-like weapon in his right hand.

"Seems it's time to go," he remarked, looking to the woman beside him. "You have everything, Jennifer?"

"All that I could salvage, at least..." she replied, before she glanced over her shoulder, looking beneath the central console's desk. "Eva, dear? You can come out now. We're leaving."

After a moment, a little girl in pink pajamas crawled out from beneath the desk. She was the splitting image of Jennifer, and donned a cat-eared headpiece – in fact, her pajamas in general had a cat theme to them. While she appeared understandably nervous at the situation unfolding around them, she still gave her parents as big of a smile as she could muster, grabbing Jennifer's hand.

Notably, despite Kane's own condition, neither Jennifer or Eva seemed to have any significant injuries.

"Great. Alright, we're ready when you are, mister Miracle––"

As she said those words, there was a rumble in the security room, and a warning flashed on the console screen behind them.

"Huh? That can't be..." Jennifer muttered, looking over the screen. "The security system... CIRQ SP-1000's activating?"

In the previous room, where Akira and Frostfire were still duking it out against V1, the hatch on the ceiling slid open. Out of it came a large UFO-like grey machine, which drifted down to the center of the room, about twenty feet off the ground. A series of jets kept it afloat, identical in color to the light on its center: a hazy, pinkish hue.

An alarm rang out from the machine as it fully activated, spawning a series of hovering electrical barriers around itself, as well as a series of pink lights – which soon took the form of buzzsaws. Some began to revolve around the machine itself, while others slowly swept across the room in a wide arc, though they appeared to swerve out of the way of V1.

"Not good... I can't get it under control!" Jennifer's brow furrowed as she tapped away on the console to no avail. "Did one of those soldiers hack into it somehow?"

"Whatever the case, we can't just sit here," Kane spoke. "Miracle, please bring Jen and Eva to safety. I'll help you and the others in dispatching of the threat."

"Dad...?"

"Don't worry. We'll all make it out okay."

V1

As V1 was about to shoot the coin, Akira Howard rushed forward, bringing up her knee to try and slug the killer robot in the midsection. Before it connected, however, the Feedbacker rotated into place, and- PANG! punched Akira in the knee, sending her back. However, her baton arced upward at the same time, connecting with the Machine's arm and denting it. V1 prepared to-
TARGETS DESTROYED: 1x Human - Fire Variant, 1x Human - Ice Variant NEW TARGET SPOTTED: Human - Fire/Ice Variant [HVT]

...What? V1 turned to where Ice and Blaze had stood, and... well, yeah, Fire/Ice variant fit the bill. They weren't doing anything yet, though, so the war machine glanced over at where Miracle was, and found them gone. Okay. Guess it's time to deal with the Fire/Ice variant human, who V1 immediately slid up to with the Sawed-On Shotgun, which still seems completely insane.

Revving up the chainsaw, V1 launched it out at Blaze, whirring as it went. Whether it connected or not, the string that attached it to the shotgun would pull it back, and the V model would punch it with the Feedbacker, launching it back out at Frostfire. They would do this 2 more times, before rotating the Knuckleblaster into place and punching the chainsaw with it instead, detatching the string and launching it with much greater speed at the fire/ice human.

V1 prepared to-

ALLY DETECTED: CIRQ SP-1000

A gigantic, ufo-like machine appeared out of a hatch on the ceiling, equipped with many buzzsaws and electric barriers. It floated several meters above the ground- and it's attacks avoided V1. "That's convenient," the machine said to noone in particular, now confident in it's ability to obliterate these hostiles.

FRISK DREEMURR

—QUILL HQ (Exterior), Day 2 Morning—

She looked over the edge to see Veetoo was already starting to move a little. Thank goodness, she’d been a little worried for a moment there. Officer Howard probably wouldn’t have been upset over losing the robot, though. Not that Frisk could blame her much, knowing what she did now, but still...

Frisk raised her pavise a little, the top half covering her face as one of her knives bounced off of it, and her gaze turned toward her opponent. She de-summoned her knives before they could do any more damage following the blast. Who or what was she up against, exactly?

*CHECK
*FORCEBURST HUNTER - 45 ATK 20 DEF
*
His swings are sure to blow you away.
*Literally.

Forceburst... made sense. So as she’d already deduced, he was telekinetically powered, but she got the feeling it wasn’t to the degree of Sans. This guy likely couldn’t hold her very SOUL in place and toss her around, just use like... a force push from Star Wars.

She could work with that.

“I’d also keep an eye on the other two, just saying,” Chara advised. Frisk glanced toward the other Hunter in time to see the Sentry Unit firing a barrage toward her. The teenager summoned a Shimmerfield, the hazy wall of red magic absorbing each of the Sentry Unit’s shots, which dispersed and empowered the field. The energy, fully absorbed, had greatly boosted Frisk’s next attack - a bloodwound, which she sent through her side of the shield toward the sentry. As it passed through, the shimmerfield was absorbed into the bloodhound to give it its new power.

Akira Howard
Akira's knee was punched back, and she slid backwards. Then, the robot continued to ignore her, which she was not happy about.

Miracle got out of there, on his way to evacuate the others. This was good... until a second robot entered the fray, supposedly a hacked security bot. It caused a bullet-hell of buzzsaws to materialize, sweeping over the room. Man, she hated robots right about now.

"Damn!"

Her X-Baton transformed into its gladius configuration, and with a wave of her arm, the Sword Legion roared into action. It hacked through a couple of the buzzsaws, before swinging at a black one, and finding that it was not as easy to cut through. The Type-R didn't give up, pushing against it, and focused redshift into its sword arm to hopefully disintegrate the blade right off of this buzzsaw.

Meanwhile, with the Legion active, chimeric energy crept up her gladius and infused it, which effectively turned the greatclub into a greatsword. Using this, as her Legion covered her, she sprung at V1 again, this time aiming to run him through with her weapon- and cut him off before he would even punch the chainsaw a second time.

"You're pretty dumb for a robot! Get your head in the game!!!"

Boboiboy - Frostfire

Frostfire looked up and met V1's optic, the two knowing exactly who was a threat here. V1 without a second thought threw out a chainsaw on a wire toward the elemental fusion. Frostfire, furrowing a brow, raised up his left hand. When the chainsaw came in close, he swerved the hand and slapped it away from the side, the impact causing it to freeze over. Akira would seem to double down on attacking the chainsaw, the ice making it susceptible to more damage

Surprises didn't cease. A new foe emerged, large and mechanized, with even more spinning blades to deal with. Frostfire wiped imaginary dust off their upper lip with their thumb, turning to face it. Akira could handle the murderbot #1 for now. He had this.

"Listen up, robot." He spoke out to the defense drone, pointing towards it with a cold, aggressive demeanor. "Mark my words. This is where your simulated life ends."

With that, he appeared to almost disappear in a flicker of blue and orange. He flicker-stepped on the other side of a wave of saw blades, triangulating the next wave's pattern. Extending either hand, he fabricated a blazing chakram in one and ice bow in the other. Meshing them together, he pulled out a hybrid of the two, a blue and orange bow with an arrow primed with glowing orange discs loaded up inside. Pulling the string quickly, he lined up his shot.

"Spinning Thermal Arrow!"

He let them fly, arrows splitting into four yellow chakrams, a blue trail blazing behind them. They curved around, aiming to smash into the next line of buzzsaws. After they'd puncture those, they'd move onto the next line, curving and hitting the next, and the next! That was part one. Secondly, a burst of flame shot out from under him, rocketing him up in the air towards the drone as his weapon disappeared. Once there, they'd deliver a series of quick blows on the cyan green hull that appeared like after-images, sending freezing punches and torching ones right after another in a loop of thermal shock!

V1

The cybernetic human was distracted by the buzzsaws, luckily, but as the buzzsaw returned to V1 they found it frozen solid. Annoying, but not disastrous. The fire/ice human was engaged by the larger machine, so V1 turned to Akira, who sprung at them with what looked like a greatsword. "You're pretty dumb for a robot! Get your head in the game!!!" cried the human, unaware of what was about to happen.

V1 didn't even break the robotic equivalent of a sweat as they parried it, once again punching it away with the Feedbacker. "You're one to talk," taunted the machine. "Humans have always been terrible at adapting," the machine continued to taunt as their arms rotated, moving the green one to the front.

The arm shot out a hook which quickly launched itself towards Akira, likely attaching due to the short distance between the machine and the human. The arm immediately began to reel in, pulling Akira towards the machine, who had... some kind of jackhammer in the other hand? What on earth?

It is here where we get into the theoretical. If Akira does not immediately escape the hook, they will be pulled into the machine, who has "charged" the jackhammer up. Once charged, the jackhammer unleashes a single powerful blow to damage it's target, and the damage of this blow scales with the relative velocity of the jackhammer. The faster the enemy is hitting the jackhammer, or the faster the jackhammer is hitting the enemy, the more damage is done.

The Whiplash pulls enemies in fairly quickly, and so Akira will not have a good time if they make contact with the hammer.

Both Akira and Frostfire began to fight through the newly-manifested buzzsaws, the former sending her Sword Legion out to shatter multiple of them apart, before finding more resistance in a darker-colored one. The chimera's blade clashed against its target for several seconds, redshift coursing along the weapon and creeping onto the buzzsaw – before it finally managed to weaken the saw enough, cleaving the weapon in half.

Frostfire's own maneuver left further gaps in the saws' formation, the arrows punching several of the lighter-colored saws, pinging off of the more durable black saws. He wasn't done, however, leaping up to the machine's core and slipping through one of the gaps to deliver a flurry of elementally-contrasting blows.

Dents began to form on CIRQ SP-1000's exterior, scorch marks and frost both accumulating on the machine. It took little time for it to retaliate, however, its core glowing brightly – before a spread shot of three arrow-shaped lasers fired out, aiming to punch point-blank into Frostfire. At the same time, the buzzsaws and electrified barriers around the machine revolved faster and closer, seeking to blindside and trap the elemental fusion as a counterattack.

Positive impacts all over the machine. It wouldn't go down quietly however, its core glowing for a counter attack. Seeing this, Forstfire brought his wrists in front of him for the counterattack. Three Arrow shaped lasers fired out of it, Frostfire deftly ducking from the other two, but the third hit dead on, flinging him off the machine in a couple backflips.

Upon the second backflip, he appeared to kick off the air with is icy foot in a plume of blue, then again with his fiery one, a plume of orange coming from it in tandem. He did these as he appeared to do parkour on thin air, skirting the edge of the buzzsaw line as he moved in closer to the main robot. Stopping when he reached the hull once more, he brought his hands together and closed his eyes, not seeming to panic when the kill zone encroached.

His body began to glow orange and blue as violent streaks of the colors erupted from either side of him. His face scrunched up, showing some difficulty regulating this next attack. Flashing his eyes open, he thrust his arms straight off to either side of him.

"Blazing Frost explosion!!"

The pounding of elements roared as an explosion of arctic and volcanic energies exploded from Frostfire, the elemental fusion shouting as they channeled their power. He was the epicenter for the explosion, which would race across the machine and due to all the buzzsaws around him being closed in, would project and encompass them as well. Midway through it, he would invert the energies in a pulse wave, causing a hyper thermionic reaction which would end the attack, but would react deadly to those that were effected by the explosion.

Mr. Miracle
"Not to worry, Commander Kane! I shall bring your family to save, you have my word!" Terry had replied back with a theatrical bow, another smoke bomb already rolling out of his sleeve and clutched in his palm moments after. With a final tip of his hat, the magician had promptly raised a hand and tossed the device onto the ground. In a loud pop, the smoke bomb burst open and covered a good portion of the room in a thick layer of harmless gray mist before, upon its clearing.. Mister Miracle, alongside Jennifer and Eva, had all but entirely disappeared from the room as if never there to begin with.

Meanwhile, out in the same shadowed alley that the superhero had previously slammed himself by the end of the race, another commotion set into effect. This time however, it emerged in a puft of smoke as Eva, Jennifer and Miracle stepped out of the hazy bubble he had cast up for their transportation. While the magician allowed the two to gather their bearings, Hagen flew about in swift, zippy movements, keeping an eye and ear out for any potential enemy that could have gathered outside. Finding none, the performer flew on back and had tipped his hat to the pair of mother and daughter.

"Well, all's well that ends well, I'd say! I trust you can find your way forward from here on out? If not, there is a bank over in that direction," Miracle had to briefly interrupt himself in order to lower a hand to the floor, magikinetically picking up various small debris to form into an arrow-like shape mid-air that pointed down the way he'd raced with Akira and Boboiboy earlier. "Will take you some time getting there, and it's more to the east than straight onward. But that is where I'm told my group will meet up later, so I'm sure they'll be happy to take you in. If there's no more questions, you two can be on your way now, if you like."

-Ghiaccio-

Quill HQ - Rooftop

The dog was fast, that was for sure. The footage from the battle around the wall hadn't shown that much. Ghiaccio raised his arms, trying to defend from the machine that Ammy had spiked towards him. The hitman hadn't had the chance to reinforce his ice shell as much as he wanted, and the machine struck the barrier with a loud crack. Large cracks appeared in the ice, but Ghiaccio was staring at something much worse. Amaterasu's follow-up attack. His eyes widened.

The explosives-!

Ghiaccio's ice shell was enveloped in a massive explosion, sending the hitman flying off the roof. He screamed as he plummeted the two stories to the ground, a scream that was abruptly cut off as he smashed into the ground. The remainder of his ice shell seemed to break his fall, and suddenly the frozen cold energy that was affecting V2 vanished.

Ghiaccio lay on the ground, only for a moment. If anyone were to watch, they would see an icy blue energy manifest around his body. Ice formed around Ghiaccio, but this was not the transparent, thick shell he had before. This ice was form-fitting, condensing into a suit of opaque, white armor. The armor's helmet seemed to be attached to the suit, creating a clear visor for the hitman to see through. Metal blades, like those on ice skates, formed at the feet of the armor. Ghiaccio stood up, and stretched.

GHIACCIO STAND UNLEASHED - WHITE ALBUM

"Tch. I see why this group was able to give Blade such a rough time. These stronzos..." Ghiaccio said. Ice began to rise in a wide circle around Ghiaccio. Ghiaccio began to skate on it, slowly at first. The assassin rapidly picked up speed and momentum, then suddenly formed a ramp up the wall of the building! He froze the water dripping down the wall, shooting up the side of the building, Ghiaccio grabbed the roof as he reached it, able to retain his momentum and speed while preventing himself from overshooting the roof. Ice formed under his skates as he flew towards Amaterasu at full speed, fully intending to slam into and grab the dog, just like he had V2!

Tracy Rinehart

Armament Factory - Conference Room

Terrence brought up the question of phones, and Tracy scratched her cheek.
"Eh, kind of? I don't know how compatible it is though. If Frisk's phone is the usual for your world, I've never seen any like them in my world." Tracy revealed her own phone, a flip cell phone, and checked for signal. None. "I don't have any data. Makes sense, I suppose. Who knows if my phone even works with the system here. When we get to the Control Room, we'll keep an eye out for you on the cameras and see if we can divert people away from your location without causing an alarm. If you think of some way to signal us, well... We'll try to stay alert for that."

Tracy took Terrence's hand and gave it a nervous squeeze.
"Be careful, okay? If everything goes well and this room is still available, let's try to meet back here in 30 minutes." Tracy said. With that, she turned and nodded to Kiwi.
"Let's go."

Tracy peeked out the door, scanning the room. The duelist then began to carefully pick her way across the factory floor, heading towards the stairway next to the elevator. She did her best to move quietly and stealthily as she could, hiding behind boxes, pillars, conveyer belts whenever the soldiers passed by, and staying away from the cameras. Once again, Tracy was struck with a disturbing sense of familiarity. It wasn't right that someone her age should have felt this level of stress, doing this type of sneaking around. But she had. Not just sneaking around the Academy investigating Weasel. But when she had been sneaking around the raider's base they had set up on the island. Granted, those were in dark caves. But still. If it hadn't been for those raiders, she wouldn't have had this much experience sneaking as she had. Was that... were they part of the reason she had appeared here?

Yet another question for another time. She couldn't afford to let her mind wander. She needed to stay focused on the task at hand. And that task was making it to the stairway, so they could get to the Control Room on the second floor.

Amaterasu
The bot detonated directly onto Ghiaccio, shattering his armor apart and sending him flying. Amaterasu's jaw opened in shock, but she wasn't given the chance to dwell on it as a security unit fired a barrage of bullets at the goddess. Though it perfectly aimed at her falling trajectory, the white wolf seemed to hop off of thin air just above the bullets, leaving a shower of falling leaves in her wake. Amaterasu's landed elsewhere, reflector up in case any more bullets came. When they reaimed towards Frisk, Ammy lowered it slightly, looking for where Ghiaccio-
SLAM
The man found her first. Now encased in a new, strange looking armor, he skated at the wolf at alarming speeds, bodyslamming into her and her reflector. However, grabbing the goddess proved more difficult as her Solar Flare stood directly between Ghiaccio and Ammy, obstructing his attempt to reach her. Amaterasu hindlegs slipped across the frozen fool as Ghiaccio pushed her from one end of the roof to another.

Akira!
-Morning, NORA Wreckage-
The policewoman didn't expect the machine to turn around- nor for it to punch away her empowered gladius. The weapon scraped across the floor, leaving a glowing trail behind it before it was shifted into the baton formation. She wasn't quick enough to stop the hook from latching into the fabric of her uniform, and the Legion was too far away, having been distracted by the buzzsaws.

Thusly, there was nothing stopping the V model from yanking Akira off her feet. Fortunately, she was quick enough to instinctively raise her baton to block the jackhammer- at least partially. Its momentum still continued to slug into her chestplate, knocking the wind out of her. She was blasted back, cratering the metal wall she crashed into. Though her Type-R had rushed in to attack V1, it too was tugged as its master flew away.

Officer Howard slumped to the floor, gasping for air. Her feet struggled to function, sliding out of her as she attempted to stand up. Her gaze locked back onto the machine: angry and frustrated. Her will was carried out by the fully functional Sword Legion, which rushed forward at blurring speeds, aiming to cleave a piece off of the blue robot.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a new wave of buzzsaws carving through the wall towards her. More frantically now, she tried to breathe and/or stand, but failed at both. She knew the Legion couldn't assist- that'd just risk death from a different source, and she wasn't dying by a robot today. The saws got closer, and her attempts got more desperate.

Finally, the AED kicked in, sending a surge of electricity through her body that spilled out into the surrounding area. This was the kick she needed to restart her system, evidentially, because she regained the ability to breathe again. Akira quickly sprung up, stumbling forwards to avoid the saw. Out of immediate danger for now, she reaffirmed her stance and faced V1 again- more ready this time.

V1

The Jackhammer worked, mostly, though some of it's momentum was blocked. Overall successful, should probably be used more. Saws moved in, while a machine floating near the human rushed towards V1. The machine rotated it's arms again and jumped, moving the Knuckleblaster into place and punching the Type-R at full force, before the shells loaded inside were triggered and fired.

Jumping off the machine before it could retaliate, the machine saw Akira stumbling forwards and avoiding a sawblade, but alive. The machine made a connection in it's head, and decided that they had just what the situation required - more sawblades. Pulling out a sawblade launcher, the machine launched some kind of small pole which moved to the area a bit to the left of Akira.

The purpose of the pole was quickly revealed, as the saws in the area began to orbit around it! Magnetically attracted to the pole, several sawblades formed a circle around the officer. The pole began to beep, flashing green, indicating how long until it runs out of energy and is unable to continue magnetizing.

Having restricted the officer's movement, but at the same time protected them from the saws, the machine slid towards Akira, swapping to a shotgun as it did so. V1 jumped at the right moment, leaping over the blades and landing next to her, shotgun poised to deal heavy damage- unless she reacts immediately.

V2

All functions restored to full status, V2 was ready to get back into the fight. This time, there would be no flashy maneuvers or aggressive rushing- but a simple exploitation of existing functions to obliterate their enemy from a distance. V2 jumped up to the wall next to them, activated their Slam, and kicked off from it, backflipping as they did so.

The V model has a unique ability to gain height via Slamming. On activating a Slam, the hydraulics go into maximum gear, increasing pressure. On touching the ground, the pressure can be either be vented, used for horizontal movement, or used for another jump. This system has been exploited in training for interesting maneuvers by clever V model prototypes. Maintenance of these functions is paramount- if damaged, the V unit will be unable to move properly, and as such blood gathering will be hampered.

- V series repair manual.
Okay, I may have lied about the lack of flashy moves.

On touching the ground, V2's hydraulics vented the pressure- directly into the ground, launching the war machine high into the air. They swapped to the Electric Railcannon as they did so, increasing the zoom on their optics as they gained height, locating Ghiaccio fairly quickly. V2 watched as the ice human pushed Amaterasu across the roof.

"Suboptimal," the machine muttered to noone in particular, as they reached the top of their jump and pulled the trigger. ZAP! Electric energy pierced through Ghiaccio, as the railcannon shot travelled at the speed of light and collided with the ice elemental, sending piercing electric force directly into him and his ice shell. The force did not hit Amaterasu- the shot did not touch the dog.

In a puff of smoke, Miracle had warped himself, Jennifer, and Eva back outside the station. As the magician surveyed the surroundings to ensure no enemies would jump out at them, the two civilians took in the sight of the slums around them. Such a sprawling city fallen to ruin... it was terrible to witness. Jennifer seemed slightly less fazed by the state of the city, her eyes instead landing on the severed section of the NORA station.

"Our life's work..." she frowned, putting a hand to her mouth.

Soon enough, Miracle returned to provide at least some direction, pointing the two towards a bank in the distance. Jennifer, while not entirely sold on the idea of roaming the streets on their own, had to trust the superhero's judgement in this unfamiliar world. The mention of the group meeting up there later left her feeling a bit more hopeful that they could find a proper place to stay, and she looked down at her daughter with a reassuring smile.

"Are you up for a bit of a walk?"

"...It's kinda spooky, but yuup!"

Before they set off, however, the scientist reached into her lab coat, pulling out an earpiece-like object, similar to the ones she and Kane wore.

"Here. It'll need calibrating later, but we'll be able to stay in touch with this."

Having given Miracle her token of gratitude, she began to head for the bank, Eva in one hand and her suitcase in the other. Her daughter waved at the magician as they left.

"Byeeee, Misteeer Miracleeee!"

Back inside the station... it was chaotic.

Frostfire had no intention of backing away even as the saws and barriers closed in on him, the fusion instead focusing his clashing elements for another attack. Some of the nearby saws drifted off toward V1's magnetic pole projectile, sparing them from the upcoming blow, which would surely be highly damaging.

A volatile surge of fire and ice burst from the elemental, engulfing QIRC SP-1000 and the remaining saws around it. Rapid shifts in temperature made their composition more brittle, and when the reversal of energies happened...

CRASH!

Metal shards quickly shot outward from the epicenter, showering the entire room with sharp projectiles. The machine's severely damaged core fell straight to the ground, as did some of its internals, and the pinkish light at the center gradually faded out.

At that moment, a similarly-colored orb of light emerged from the device, drifting over to the other side of the room, by the door leading to the laboratory. From it appeared the same Fusion-wielding Hunter that they had encountered before.

"Dammit... You just don't know when to quit, do ya?!"

While dropped to a knee, he procured his submachine gun, defiantly shooting out bursts of violet plasma at Frostfire.

Q.U.I.L.L. HQ – Rooftop
Combat continued to escalate, Ghiaccio falling off the building only to swiftly return with a suit of white armor covering his body, his Stand now on full display as he darted for Amaterasu.

Frisk's response to the incoming attacks was calculated, the teen allowing each of the gatling Sentry Unit's shots to be absorbed into her Shimmerfield, before returning the firepower to sender with an enhanced bloodwound. Seeing the attack coming, the Hunter hiding behind the machine dove out of the way, and the projectile tore straight through the bot, cleaving it in half. With a grunt, the Puppetmaster Adept drew her submachine gun, opening fire towards Frisk with her right hand while using her left to unleash her Septima, orange energy wires shooting out from her fingertips to reanimate the other Sentry Unit that had been blasted by her partner moments ago.

Speaking of said partner, the Forceburst Hunter had repositioned slightly behind Frisk, taking advantage of the slight downtime he'd been granted from the knives vanishing. As per usual, he swung his arms forward one after the other, and two quick bursts of kinetic energy shot out towards the teen, aiming to slug her into Ghiaccio and Amaterasu or into one of his partner's plasma shots, the slight delay between blasts serving to catch a potential dodge.

Armament Factory – Assembly 1
With objectives established, Tracy and Kiwi were the first to leave the conference room, straight into Assembly 1. The two stayed low as they cautiously moved across the factory floor, mostly sticking close to the left wall to stay within range of most usable cover, additionally being shielded from the camera on the opposite corner of the factory floor.

As they continued nearly halfway to the stairway, a group of twelve Sumeragi soldiers walked into view, heading in their direction from the other end of the floor. Their armor clearly showed they were Gunners and Grenadiers, though their weapons were placed at their backs, not readied. Fortunately for the bard and duelist, the nearest conveyor belt had enough of an offshoot for them to hide behind, one of the robot arms acting as further cover for the two. The group of soldiers walked on past, and should either of the two look back, they would see the soldiers pick up a series of crates from the other end of the room, either dumping of the parts inside onto the conveyor belt or carrying them to one of the other assembly lines.

The moment of danger passed, and the duo were able to continue on to the stairway. Some soldiers were moving around the rest of the assembly line, albeit not as grouped up, and they had an easier time making progress. Soon enough, they were able to dart from one pillar straight to the stairway, making it inside without being spotted. No enemies were in the stairway, giving Kiwi and Tracy a moment to breathe.

Pressing on, the two moved up the steps and to the second floor, peeking out from the stairway to get a look. The layout was fairly simple, with a walkway hugging each of the walls in a loop around the room. Rails were placed at the edges for safety, and a series of cables ran from the ceiling and down across the walls or rails, ultimately reaching some of the machinery and other technology downstairs.

Here, they were presented with two options, both leading toward the center building of the factory. The corners of the opposite wall each contained a closed door, guarded by two Gunners each. A sign atop the leftmost door (the closest) read 'Gear Storage, Assembly 2', while the sign atop the rightmost door read 'Control Room, Assembly 3'.

The guards appeared rooted to their positions.

Boboiboy - Frostfire

Their word fulfilled, the machine was destroyed. Frostfire, protected from the immediate shards of glass due to being the epicenter of the explosion, fell to the ground shortly after the defense system did. Their boots clicking onto the tiles below, they paused, not looking back at their damage.

"..."
"..."
"...Ngh."

Letting out a faint groan, it became apparent Frostfire wasn't going to make a habit of that last move. Their muscles appeared more strained than they were previously. Their left arm quivered for a second before he hissed, tensing the muscles in it so the spasms would stop. After a strained sigh, he got a hold of himself, at the same time as he spotted a colored orb whizz past him from the machine. It lead through a doorway where...that same guy from before stood.

They began to talk, but Frostfire was already prepping for him to retaliate as he did last time he lost his tinker-toy. Be it Ice's calculating nature or Blaze's battle lust, Frostfire was still in finishing mode. Since he was still in recharge from the last attack, he wasn't going to be snappily moving around just yet. So instead, in a shine of orange and blue, he conjured his bow once more. A dual colored arrowhead was in the center of the bow whilst he pulled back the strings, the brims of the arrow glittering with elemental energy.

A shot of plasma hit him square in the chest, Frostfire hissing and stumbling back, severing out of the way of another plasma shot. Shaking the pain off, he grit his teeth, glaring right at the hunter.

"Ice-Fire arrowheads!"

He let go of the strings, a shining white blast piercing forward, a thick spiral of flame and frost weaving around it as it ripped through the air, bent on striking the Adept out.

Ghiaccio

Q.U.I.L.L. HQ - Rooftop

The flaming shield interposed itself between Ghiaccio and Amaterasu as Ghiaccio pushed the dog goddess. It was protecting her, and Ghiaccio was unable to reach around it to grab her directly. But that wouldn't be enough to protect Amaterasu for long. Ghiaccio continued the pressure, pushing down on the shield and pressing it against Ammy as he kept pushing her across the roof. As he did, ice spikes rose from the frozen puddles, attempting to grind against Ammy from below as he continued to push her around the roof! Despite the flames and heat from Amaterasu's Solar Flame, Ghiaccio's armor did not show any signs of melting.

From above, V2 fired his Electric Railcannon! The beam of lighting struck Ghiaccio in the shoulder, knocking him forward slightly. But instead of coursing through the assassin, the attack barely seemed to have any effect. Ice is a very poor conductor of electricity, with Ghiaccio's suit acting as an insulator against electric attacks! Ghiaccio glanced over his shoulder, up to V2, before scoffing and turning his attention back to Amaterasu. Insignificant. Ghiaccio was free to continue shoving down on Ammy's shield, continuing to attempt to grind the dog against the ice spikes on the roof surface!

Tracy Rinehart

Armament Factory - Second Floor

Tracy surveyed the second floor from her hiding spot on the stairs. Four guards, all looking this way, and a camera to their left. Not good. Tracy looked at the cards in her hand. Not many that could help her with sneaking by these guards. She drew a card from her deck. A trap card, Eisbahn. Something that could really help if their situation got bad, but not as much of a help right now. The duelist sat down on the stairs, thinking for a moment. Stealth was necessary here, so perhaps it would be better to think of this less like a Duel, and more like a Kozmo Wars movie.

In her hand, she had the monster 'Penguin Soldier'. A weak monster, but one with a powerful, one-time effect of returning two monsters to her opponent's hand. It seemed like in this world, that effect instead launched opponents a great distance away. Things were loud enough here, if they were able to lure those soldiers to the stairwell, and Penguin Soldier launched them away, then that could be a way of getting rid of two of the guards. But that still left the other two, and the camera. A problem that could be better solved if they could get the soldier's uniforms... but Penguin Soldier's effect probably wouldn't allow that.

"Any ideas, Kiwi?" Tracy asked the Bard.

FRISK DREEMURR

—QUILL HQ, Day 2 Morning—

Another sentry down. It was actually pretty satisfying to see. Frisk didn’t usually get to fight non-sentient robots (she assumed, considering none had given her any EXP), so seeing her power in a lethal way that wasn’t actively corrupting her by killing someone was kind of cool.

It’s a shame she couldn’t just make her attacks stop short of taking the last point of health from her enemies. But she had to remain cautious with her attacks, instead, focus them without permanently putting down any of the people she fought.

It was exhausting, sometimes.

Raising her shield, the submachinegun peppered into it, energy bolts fizzling into it as Frisk watched the hunter start to reanimate another Sentry Unit. So that’s what was going on... that one was controlling them. Her septima. She could... control machines? Or was it a psychic thing, not limited to machines? Couldn’t she control Veetoo under that logic? At least Mr. Forceburst had a pretty obvious-

Oh right, he was still active.

Frisk’s head snapped to her right in time to see the Forceburst Hunter as he’d already repositioned himself and raised his arms. It was a split second decision, but given what she’d learned, Frisk led with it, acting almost on instinct with a hint of creativity.

She summoned another shield, this one basic and round, on her other arm. It had little magic, just used for the sake of convenience, and the two force-pushes came.

The kinetic blasts hit the shield just as Frisk pressed into it, moving forward toward the hunter, and the blast launched her up, instead of directly at Ghiaccio, thanks to the positioning of her shield and her movement. The teenager spun into the air, hurtling the round shield like a frisbee as she did so, sending it flying toward the puppetmaster’s visor to try and knock her unconscious, or just disorient her, before Frisk followed up with moving her pavise, the spiked shield’s blade aimed down, now beneath her. She placed her feet at its top, heading directly for the sentry.

If all went to plan, the pavise would impale the sentry, lodging deep through its head, hopefully catching it right as it was activating, and Frisk went kick from it, lodging it even deeper inside and propelling herself backward into a somewhat clumsy backflip to land in front of it and raise her arm. The pavise would spin like a saw blade before blitzing right back onto her forearm.

Amaterasu was holding her own against the icy grandma, and Veetoo had re-entered the fray as well to offer his support, Frisk’s earlier antics having paid off. Even so, she wanted to wrap this up and help beat up grandma. This was good, things were going good.

She really hoped she hadn’t just jinxed it.

Akira Howard
-Morning, NORA Wreckage-
The machine deflected the Sword Legion. It recovered quickly, but did not engage again. It didn't need to. Sure, Akira was perturbed by this enclosure of saws, but she wanted V1 to get close. That was where she could shine- and where the gun-toting robot would not.

As V1 landed next to her, Akira was already on the move. She hopped onto the pole and then off of it for some extra height, kicking the shotgun away to spray buckshot across the wall. Then she came down with her baton, attempting to carve into the demonic machine or drive him back into the saws.

"You think I'm trapped in here with you?!"

Meanwhile, as the V model was focused on the officer, the Type-R flew in a circle around the two. At first, this seemed like the brainwashed Chimera wasn't able to just fly over the saws. Its true intentions lay in the astral chain that trailed behind it and connected it to Akira. Once it had made a full loop around V1, the chain would instantly restrict. This would not only restrict the robot, but this event would also stun the machine and chains would spring from the ground to root it in place.

Terrence Boom
It had been a long shot to begin with, yes- even if they could get some kind of connection, and by some actual miracle their phones were compatible, again, they would have to use Sumeragi Wi-Fi. And that was IF they could guess the password! Oh well, it did mean they wouldn’t have the luxury of being able to communicate easily in spite of their different destinations… but they weren’t going to be TOO far apart, anyway. This was of course risky, but if one of them did end up getting caught, the other group was probably going to hear it… Terrence was confident he could keep himself safe, and those cards of Tracy’s could do the same for her and Kiwi.

“What a scam, I specifically told the cell company I wanted the interdimensional package,” he scoffed jokingly, shaking his head. “I’ll be as careful as I can be. You two keep safe, too- get to the control room quick enough, and maybe you’ll get to watch while I ruin a Sumeragi supervisor’s entire year,” he grinned.

Tracy squeezed his hand to bid him farewell, before she and Kiwi were gone. A part of him wished that they weren’t splitting up like this, but it was an efficient plan. Not being able to immediately aid his teammates if they did end up in trouble just felt… icky, to him. He had to remind himself of how capable he’d seen them be, and that didn’t just go for the members of the Stealth Squad.

They were all here for a reason- and they were not weak.

Coffee cup still in hand, he left the room. Terrence kept the exact locations and positions of each camera in mind- he could see them in advance, plan for each one, making quick progress across the floor of Assembly 1. He was silent, as much as he could be, but it was getting seen that he was far more concerned with. Fortunately, staying away from guards and keeping quiet when they were near was made much easier when he knew where each one was, just like the aforementioned cameras.

Tracy and Kiwi had left the room first, but they wouldn’t be truly separated until they could get through that door- eventually coming to the same metaphorical fork in the road, it seemed to Terrence that they were out of luck until they could get those guards to move away and allow them to proceed to the Control Room and Assembly 3.

“Wow, funny meeting you guys here,” he greeted Tracy and Kiwi, the former looking at some of her cards, trying to figure out a stealth strategy here. He hummed under his breath, thinking about how they could lure the guards… preferably, they could do it in a way that didn’t immediately tell their enemies that they were here, which one of Tracy’s monsters would probably do. He held up the coffee cup, a lightbulb going off in his head.

“Since this came from right here in the factory- if we use it to catch their attention, it’s a whole lot less suspicious than anything else we could do. Keeps their guards a bit lower…” he suggested.
