Akira Howard
-Noonish, The Slums-
Akira was glad that was over with. She wasn't used to dealing with large groups of human hostiles. Chimeras were one thing, but this felt like she was a soldier in an old war.
Alas, she wouldn't get the chance to relax, as alarm bells went off in her head. They started when she first spotted the levitating objects. It only increased in its severity. Akira stopped her bike even before the tower came into being to cut off their route. She watched in awe and in unease as the metal reshaped at a whim- the whim of the man who stood at the top of the tower. The policewoman had found her hand at the hilt of her baton. A defensive, instinctual reaction to such an awesome, unfamiliar display of power.
As the figure walked out of her sight, she looked between Miracle and Cyclone, scanning for any sign of recognition on their faces. Seeing none, she hit the kickstand on her bike and got off, removing her hand from her baton.
"You two stay here to protect Gardner, just in case. I'll go see what our new friend wants. I'll signal you if we can trust him."
With a deep breath, she unsteadily ascended up the hovering stairs, leaving her helmet behind to meet with this person face to face.
