"Love? That's so sweet!"

He beamed at Frisk. Those two did seem rather close when they were back at the makeshift HQ. It looked like it may be mutual, he wouldn't be too surprised. The calm and considerate nature of Terrence with the introspective and at times impulsive Frisk. They looked perfect for each other.

Love? A funny concept.

He knew an elemental split shouldn't be feeling a yearning for this sort of thing. Cyclone however thought more and more on it the past few months. To find someone to appreciate him for him unconditionally sounded like a pipe dream. After all, who could do that? Love was something always unobtainable. If not just for obligation, but because he wasn't even truly a 'person'. Regardless if he could even have such a precious thing, he understood Frisk's desire for it all too well.

"Why don't you tell him today?" He asked her. "I know if I really wanted something like that and finally had the opportunity to seize it...I would in a heartbeat. What you have is special Frisk, not everyone can find someone they click with like you. A bond like that is...priceless."

He looked off into the clouds, the wind blowing through his hair. The wistful elemental felt something within him. Was it...envy? No, surely not. That would be silly. Catching himself drifting, he turned to Frisk, winking and blowing her a strawberry.

"And if he shuts you down, you can always eat the feels away~"

FRISK DREEMURR

—City Slums, Day 2 Afternoon—

Frisk’s face flushed at Cyclone’s positive reaction to it, prompting her to even tell him about it that day. He even offered an alternative to rejection: food.

Frisk gave a soft chuckle and turned her head to look down the way they came. “We’ve dated before. Twice before. The first time was... freshman year. I dunno, we just liked each other and it was fine, but it wasn’t... serious. More like... we were just friends who sometimes held hands. So we just... broke up. It was mutual. We stayed friends, but then... after my mom died...”

She pursed her lips.

“Then I broke up with him again. Because I thought that would help me focus on my responsibilities better. He was off to China for his own responsibilities too. But I still kept thinking and worrying about him. I shouldn’t have done it, but I did, and I’m worried he’ll...”

Frisk shook her head. What was she doing, telling Cyclone about this? She barely knew the kid, he didn’t need her... trauma dumping or something stupid like that. “Uh, nevermind, it’s... we have other things to worry about. Sumeragi won’t kick the crap out of themselves.”

There she went, focusing on her responsibilities first.

Boboiboy - Cyclone

The blue hued boy was going to make a joke about the 'Will they? Won't they?' antics between the two, but upon Frisk mentioning their dead mother and pausing on it...suffice to say it no longer seemed appropriate.

He frowned, listening intently and being slower to speak. She was surely carrying a lot of baggage. All this responsibility on her shoulders, expectations, restrictions, self-imposed rules. And there she was, putting up a defense mechanism, one that he and Bo for that matter used routinely. Burying themselves in responsibility so they don't need to confront what was really hanging over them.

"Hey, Frisk. It's okay...nobody up here to judge us, remember?" Not trying to invade her privacy or intrude. "It's not too late. It's actually crazy convenient you two were both taken and brought here. Maybe being here in this twisted city can be a good break from Earth. It's got you guys talking again, right? You were straight up given a VIP pass from the universe for make-up lane! Think how crazy that is!"

May explain why she was more upfront about trying to check on the remaining squad whilst the rest of the party were actively waiting. Was it because she was worried about Terrence?

Well if thats the case...

He stood up on the board, ready to get moving again. He reached out a hand to help up Frisk, a warm smile on his face, his two deep blue swirling orbs stared down at her.

"C'mon, let's go get your future boyfriend!"

V2

"Oh geez, silly me. Guess you don't actually know any of us Minos around here," the teen said, letting go of V2's hand. She introduced herself as Kohaku, and named the others as Kyota, Kane, and Maria. Maria appeared to be distracted with Amaterasu, and Kyota followed her, also desiring to pet the wolf.

Following this brief distraction, Kohaku began to ask questions. "So you're a robot, huh? What's that like? Do you get any physical sensations, like temperature or texture? Or can you do crazy calculations in your head? I actually do a lot of work with machines and other stuff I find around the slums, but I've never been able to talk with one or know what they're thinking... um, but fancy as you are, I bet I can work something out if you need a tune-up or something!"

V2 chose to answer each of these in order. "I do receive physical sensations, though primarily through my hands- processing the data from all of my plating would be quite time consuming. In terms of calculations, I am quite efficient at them. I can precisely calculate whether a coin will land heads or tails."

To demonstrate, V2 quickly tossed a coin into the air. "Tails." The machine caught the coin on the way down, and sure enough, it was revealed to be the Tails end- three crowns. The machine, of course, did not reveal that the actual use of these coins was for combat. This was a good enough demonstration.

The last question was more of an offer- to... give V2 a "tune-up," as it were. "While I appreciate the offer, my systems are perfectly capable of self-repair. In any case, I doubt you would be able to provide much improvement- I am very different from other machines you have worked on, due to my unique fuel source."

In the microsecond after saying this, the machine realized that Kohaku was sure to ask about what the fuel source was. They would have to come up with something fast.

Tracy Rinehart

Bard ran alongside Tracy as she moved towards the doors, screaming the whole time. Well, screaming wasn't quite right. It almost seemed like he was singing? And running wasn't right either, he was dancing away! Whatever it was, it was fast enough to keep up, so Tracy wasn't exactly complaining.

Tracy felt Penguin Mage shift in her arms, and looked down to find that the Penguin monster had regained consciousness. Both Penguin Mage, and Penguin Cleric! Had Kiwi's singing also helped her monsters regain enough energy they could move again?
"Are you okay?" Tracy asked her monsters. The little mage nodded, and jumped out of Tracy's hands. The two magic penguins nodded to each other, and ran back to the entrance to the Control Room Antechamber!

Inside the Control Room Antechamber, Bark smacked Ninja Penguin out of the air. The Ninja Penguin flipped in mid air, landing on its feet and digging its blade into the icy ground to stop its slide. Bark unleased a freezing attack, stopping Penguin Monk mid-kick. Penguin Squire continued its charge, its red shield glowing with defensive magic. Penguin Squire smashed through the freezing attack. Bark threw his attack at Terrence.

Letting out a loud squawk of rage, Penguin Squire unleashed a flurry of razor slashes! Penguin Monk broke out of the ice that encased it, then jumped towards Bark. It attacked the Polar Bear with a karate chop attack! Penguin Mage and Cleric made it to the entrance of the Antechamber. Seeing the injured Penguin Ninja, Penguin Cleric raised its rod. A healing magic appeared around Penguin Ninja, healing the damage it had taken from Bark. The ninja gave the cleric a grateful nod, before throwing a pair of ice shuriken at Bark. Penguin Mage raised its staff, conjuring ice spikes from the air, and launching them at Bark!

Tracy opened the door to the Assembly 1, Tracy quickly assessed the situation. For a moment, she considered advancing. But Terrence was still in the Antechamber, facing the Bear. Whatever Kiwi had tried to bring Terrence out, it hadn't worked. Tracy quickly closed the door, hoping that neither the Sentry Unit or Grenader hadn't noticed them.

If they were escaping, they were escaping together.

"Stay close, Kiwi." Tracy said, moving back towards the Antechamber and drawing a card. All of her monster zones were used up, and her current spells and traps weren't effective here. So she just had to focus on the support she could manage. She looked into the Antechamber.

Nopenguin raised its sign, blocking the attacks from the flying drone. It seemed like Penguin Brave was already attacking the Polar Bear. That left her other monsters.
"Nopenguin, attack the Flying Drone!" Tracy commanded. The Nopenguin jumped up, smashing through the remaining flying drone with its sign.
"Come on, Terrence! You can do it!" Tracy yelled, cheering on her ally. Nightmare Penguin moved towards the door to Assembly Three, standing defensively in case any enemies should try to come through that way.

Trying her best to help, Tracy picked up a small piece of equipment from one of the boxes, and tried to throw it at Bark. It fell a few feet short of the brawling fighters...

Terrence "Skedaddle" Boom
Terrence looked over his shoulder, back at Bark- just as he intended, the cyan magic was embedded into him. Completely harmless… as long as the bear stayed still, at least. Movement would cause the pain and damage to stack up- but Bark didn’t seem to quite get the memo, a dangerous combination of adrenaline and Kiwi easing his pain, though the initial strike seemed to have done something considerable. A pair of meaty polar bear fists slammed into Terrence’s shell, forcing him toward a wall- to spare himself from a broken nose and face, his own arms shot forward, punching into the material with an orange glow, his feet radiating a similar aura of Bravery magic.

His shell was still vibrating from the impact as he pushed himself away, creating some distance between himself and the polar bear. He exhaled- he needed to get back on the other side of the enemy. At the same time, he felt a bit… concerned. That technique was a powerful one, but it also relied on the enemy… valuing their own health, to a certain degree. People that could get lost in their emotions or outright be self-destructive to get a job done would simply eat all the damage, which could be devastating. The question to Terrence was, was Bark unaware of the nature of the magic, or did he simply not care? Both were scary (both in numerous ways) for different reasons.

Either way, he’d slipped past a healthier version of Bark just now than the one in his path right now, he just needed to do so again, regroup with Tracy and Kiwi, and get out of the factory as quickly as possible.

He pumped both arms forward in Bark’s direction, and a group of orange fists that resembled his own emerged, flying forward in rapid succession to inflict some serious pummeling.

His target, however, was not Bark himself- it was the hallway they stood in. The material was slammed and punctured, with an emphasis on busting up the ceiling. The more debris he could create and dust he could fill the air with, the better- while it may have seemed like he’d simply missed out of disorientation, he just needed some cover. The best part was, any 'cover' he created wasn't at risk of disadvantaging him anyway. Not being able to see Bark wasn't really a concern anyway...

What emerged soon after, however, did come directly for Bark- a much larger hand, flying forward from a low position before forming an upward arc below the bear, curling into a fist and swinging toward the enemy in a mighty uppercutting motion. While the bear could likely counter the forceful swing with his own, the true goal was to keep his attention anywhere but up… as it was time for another dizzying episode of ‘Terrence and the world’s strongest merry-go-round.’ If anything was going to get him past this Sumeragi-aligned workhorse, it would be a combination of the several diversions, and one massive burst of speed- if Kiwi’s pulling maneuver was still active, it certainly wouldn’t hurt.

The shell, noticeably flatter than before Bark had punched it, hurtled across the ceiling. Terrence was, of course, attached to the underbelly of the construct as it favored the leftmost edge of the hall, looking like a combination of a freshly launched Beyblade and a rapid turtle climbing on the roof, flying back to Kiwi and Tracy.

"Whoa, that's amazing!"
Kohaku looked on in wonder while V2 responded to each of her questions, even demonstrating his systems' precision by predicting a coin flip. There was a hint of dejection on the teen's face when the machine dismissed her offer, though she didn't let it show for long as she continued to press on.

"Aw, dang. I mean, you'd be surprised how intuitive machines are for me to work on, so the offer still stands if you ever change your mind! Maybe Jennifer can make some real big improvements, since she's a lead scientist and everything. Right, Kane?"

"If necessary," the commander replied. "Besides, without this 'unique' fuel source, it might be difficult to get much work done."

"Ohh, you're right. What do you even use as fuel, V2? I know you said it was unique, but is it like, hard to come by? We might have what you need lying around, hopefully a spare power core, or EN Pack, or something... It'd be bad if you ran out of juice while out and about."

Armament Factory
The blow landed on Terrence's shell, and the hallway they were in shuddered from the impact. The Brave SOUL backpedaled, the monk and squire taking his place. Bark took a step back as the squire closed the distance. The monster entered punching distance, the only creature within that space, and so it received the Mobian's full ire in the form of a powerful haymaker that cratered the floor whether or not it made contact. As Bark reeled his arm back in, two sharp objects thunked into the dense muscle of his shoulder.

He couldn't forget that he was surrounded by these penguins. While Terrence did his own thing, Bark glanced over his shoulder at the other avians. Some spellcaster had summoned a wave of conical hail to assault him. His septima-infused gloves glowed once again, and the icicles arced around his outstretched arm to swing right into the trajectory of midair monk to ideally rip it apart. Whether it was put on the defensive or dead, it was dealt with for the moment.

While Bark dealt with the penguins, Mr. Boom had been hard at work creating a cloud of debris. The Mobian took a step forward. He was prepared to charge in when an orange fist rocketed out from the dust-screen! The bear quickly brought up his and raised a fist, countering the punch with a strike of his own. Leaning his weight into the punch, he was easily able to overpower the magic.

Again, Bark was about to charge into the dust cloud. Again, something rocketed out. This time, it wasn't at him. This time, it was faster.

The ursine reacted as quickly as he could and threw a straight punch upwards. He wasn't fast enough. His punch instead struck the bit of damaged ceiling Terrence had just torn through, and the turtled Terrence continued onwards. Bark knew his advantage was slipping fast He turned around as chunks of ceiling fell around him, and began his charge after the group. As he went, he slapped the crates along the sides towards the trio of penguins that stood his way. As he got close, he would furiously swing his arms in an effort to slap them silly. After barreling through the penguin posse, Bark reached the end of the antechamber, and lunged at Tracy with an attempt to tear off her duel disk!

There was a growing pain in his side. It wasn't too great as of yet, but it was clear that it would be a problem if he couldn't make something happen now.

Nopenguin tore through the remaining drone, scattering its plating and internal components across the floor. With no more targets left in the room, Nightmare Penguin posted up in front of the door to Assembly 3 to guard against further threats. It was about all it could do for the moment, since Penguin Brave and Terrence were trying to deal with Bark's onslaught so everyone could get out of here.

Then, shortly before the polar bear was through with the penguins in his way, the door to Assembly 3 slid open. Through it barged a Gunner, followed close behind by a gatling Sentry Unit and another Flying Drone.

"Hey––"

Nightmare Penguin's flipper struck the Gunner as he ran in, sending the soldier stumbling aside and preventing him from opening fire straight away on anyone in the room. The sentry hunkered down upon spotting opposition, however, raising its shield before firing a spray of plasma bolts forward, focusing first on Nightmare Penguin. Meanwhile, the drone would hover above the larger machine, plasma cannon flipping open to fire more plasma in Kiwi's direction.

V2

As Kohaku spoke, V2 desperately tried to come up with an alternate fuel source. The machine looked through languages, trying to find something they wouldn't understand...
The German word for Blood is Blut.
Backwards it's Tulb.
add an -ium.

Then came the question "What do you even use as fuel, V2? I know you said it was unique, but is it like, hard to come by? We might have what you need lying around, hopefully a spare power core, or EN Pack, or something... It'd be bad if you ran out of juice while out and about."
The machine took a second to reply, then answered:

"My power source is a rare element known as Tulbium. It's used in a small reactor within my chest cavity, which is capable of converting it into vast amounts of power. If I use it carefully, my remaining supply should be long enough to last until I return home."

It was a weak answer. It would fall apart very quickly, when V1's power source was found out, and people began to question whether V2 had the same source. However, it would prevent questions for now- hopefully long enough for the Sumeragi to be defeated. If V2 is exiled afterward, then fine- that was the agreement anyway.

Tracy Rinehart

Penguin Squire barely raised his shield just in time to block Bark's punch. Kch-KOOM! The room seemed to thunder from the impact, the ground beneath the Penguin cratering from the punch. Despite the shield glowing with magical energy, a large crack was formed in it, and Penguin Squire was sent sliding back across the icy ground. It slammed into the wall, seeming momentarily stunned by the powerful blow.

Tracy sidestepped out of the doorframe as Terrence rocked into the hallway. The moment the teen had cleared the room, the Penguins within knew what to do. Penguin Cleric slammed his rod into the icy ground, and instantly a wall of magical energy sprung forth in front of Penguin Cleric and Mage. Penguin Mage raised its staff, casting a quick spell, and arcane sigils appeared on the energy barrier, reinforcing it. Bark slammed into it, aiming blows at both it and Penguin Ninja. However, the ninja was a little difficult to pin down. Using its enhanced agility, the Penguin Ninja ducked, bobbed, and weaved around Bark's attacks. If the Polar Bear attempted to focus on the magic barrier, Penguin Ninja would attempt to slash at the Bear with its sword!

Even from the few blows Bark landed on the barrier, Penguin Cleric and Monk were beginning to sweat from the exertion of their magical powers. If Bark was able to continue directly attacking the barrier, it would not be long before he could break through.

When Bark had redirected Penguin Mage's Ice Spikes spell at Penguin Monk, the little martial artist instinctively curled into a ball mid-air. Many of the ice spikes missed, but quite a few hit and knocked the Penguin out of the air. It jumped back to its feet with a grunt, pulling out the ice spikes and tossing them aside. Blood seeped from the wounds, dripping onto the ice. It gave the Monk a moment of pause, before it shook its head and continued to charge towards Bark!

Meanwhile, Penguin Monk attempted to grab Bark from behind, and with surprising strength for a creature so small, attempted to Suplex the bear! At the same time, Penguin Squire seemed to shake out of its daze, and ran towards Bark once more!

Tracy had been right to put a guard on the door to Assembly 3, as it was flung open, and Sumeragi troops moved in to reinforce. Nightmare Penguin moved back, creating a sort of dark energy field to protect itself.
"Allow me, Lady Tracy!" Tracy's face down card flipped up, and the form of the Nobleman of Crossout shot forth from it! The knight shot down the hallway. His blade pierced the Sentry Unit's shield, driving itself directly into the machine's center mass. The robot sparked and groaned, before the Nobleman of Crossout withdrew its blade and dealt a powerful slash across the robot! In that instant, a portal briefly appeared, sucking the Sentry Unit in, before it vanished completely. The Nobleman of Crossout smirked, sheathing his blade and turning towards the Sumeragi Grenadier.

"And let that be a lesson to you, evildoer! Your wicked ways shall never-" The Nobleman abruptly vanished mid-sentence. Tracy let out a breath. Good timing, it seemed like.

The dapper Penguin laughed mockingly at the drone, using its energy field it created to block the plasma attack heading towards Kiwi.
"Okay, let's go!" Tracy said to Kiwi and Terrence. She ran to the door to Assembly 1, drawing a card from her deck and throwing open the door. It had only been a few moments, so Tracy hoped she would still have the element of surprise.
"Penguin Ninja, go!" Tracy exclaimed, flipping up another face-down card. Her last face-down monster revealed itself, a less-experienced looking Penguin Ninja from the one of Penguin Brave. It jumped up, and if the Sentry Unit and Grenadier were still there, would throw a pair of ice shuriken at them. The pair of ice weapons would fly through the air, magically targeting the Grenadier's grenades and the Sentry Unit's chainsaw. At the same time, Nopenguin's sign would glow, and the shuriken would glow with a magical red 'x'. On a hit, the Grenader's grenade, and the Sentry Unit's Chainsaw, would disappear!

"Attack!" Tracy commanded. Penguin Ninja raced towards the Sumeragi Grenadier, conjuring an icy kunai and slashing at the soldier with it! At the same time back in the hallway, Nopenguin jumped up, and would attempt to destroy the flying Drone with its sign! As this went down, Tracy would set a card on her duel disk.
"How are you doing Terrence? Are you hurt?" Tracy called back to the other teen.

Tracy Stats:
Hand: 5 cards
Field: Penguin Brave, Nopenguin, Nightmare Penguin, Penguin Ninja, Zombino
S/T: Eisbahn, 1 set card
Graveyard: 8 cards

Zombino

The undead monster continued to fight on, its energy still going strong despite its injuries. It took up running again, this time charging towards the Sentry Unit. It used its ax to deflect any plasma bolts, and easily dodged out of the way of the grenades that were thrown and the fireballs from the Sentry Unit. The bomber flew in, and Zombino flung his ax at the drone. It smashed through the flying device, Zombino jumping into the air to catch the ax. He landed next to the Sentry Unit, delivering a powerful ax strike to its leg to knock it down, then a powerful ax strike to the head to destroy it-

BA-BOOM!

A grenade had managed to slip past Zombino's notice, landing next to the zombie monster and exploding. It knocked the monster off its feet, and for a moment it laid still...

Zombino jumped back to its feet. It left arm had been completely blown off, laying on the ground a few feet away, but the zombie monster didn't care. It rushed towards the squad of Sumeragi soldiers!

Boboiboy - Cyclone

The pair of Frisk and Cyclone made it to the factory. Its size became more apparent up close. It seemed comically larger than everything else surrounding it. Upon getting to entryway of the structure, Cyclone brought his board to a stop, letting out a whistle.

"Phew, that thing sure is big. You don't think that Sumeragi has a tour guide set up for us, do ya?"

Noises could be heard from the inside of the factory and in the parameter, echoing out. It was hard to make out exactly what they were, but it was clear activity was abuzz. There seemed to be a bit of a struggle going on in the outside with distant troops fighting off against something out of view. Cyclone began to sweat a bit now that the ride was over, his purpose for appearing being fulfilled. His head was at war whether to switch out or not.

Boboiboy wants you to revert back to him. Switch.

I feel like I was making a connection though.

Switch.

But I don't want to!

Switch.

Ignoring the nagging in his head that wanted him to revert back, he gave a smile to Frisk, masking his inner turmoil.

"Shall we~?"

FRISK DREEMURR

—Armament Factory Perimeter, Day 2 Afternoon—

“Why didn’t he just set us down over the wall?” Chara sounded annoyed.

Frisk didn’t respond, instead giving the large gate a lookover. Heavy, thick... a bloodwound might be able to tear a big enough hole into it. At Cyclone’s rhetorical question, Frisk only offered a shrug. She was locking in at the moment, which usually meant she wasn’t super receptive to humor and levity.

It was all business right now, to her.

“Shall we~?”

“We shall,” Frisk said, raising her hand as her knife formed. It began to glow, brighter and brighter, before she slashed downward, now pointing at the ground in a swift movement, carving a crimson wound through the air. The bloodwound sizzled and popped with volatile energy, like an oversized bug zapper, before it suddenly launched outward, hurtling for the gate to carve a path right through it and into the yard beyond.

A cold reception. Insecurities started to creep into their head as they kept their smile. She was focusing on the mission of course, their favorite person needing help.

Well, that's understandable. Her future boyfriend is at risk.

You know she only tolerated you.

? What?

You served a purpose. You were used. Face it.

No...that can't be right.

Looking over to Frisk, they were fully locked in, preparing to lead the first strike. As doubt creeped into his head, he thought he saw something in the distance for a second. A bright blue butterfly with ornate markings across its wings. He looked away, shutting his eyes from the situation. Suddenly, in a flash of blue, he reverted back to Boboiboy. The hoverboard vanished along with it, leaving him to drop slightly to the ground. Instead of memories flooding into his head upon reverting, all he received was glimpses and a pounding brain fuzz.

What am I doing wrong?

Grasping his head, Bo barely had any chance to process things before combat kicked off. The volatile energy Frisk utilized cast forward into the enemies ahead. Needing to keep his head in the game, he took up the rear, preparing to his power watch should the need arise for it.

The incoming Sumeragi units were quickly dealt with thanks to Tracy's monsters – including the sudden appearance of Nobleman of Crossout, who banished the Sentry Unit with a powerful strike. The spirit's words to the nearby soldier were quite effective following the display, the man sticking to one corner of the room as he held his hands up, though his weapons were still in hand.

Nightmare Penguin blocked the drone's plasma shots, giving Tracy a window to sprint for Assembly 1 while calling for her allies to retreat. Summoning another Penguin Ninja as she did so, the teen found that her intended targets were indeed still there, and the ice shuriken hit their mark. In a flash of magical energy, the grenades and chainsaw of the closest Grenadier and Sentry Unit vanished. This alerted both them and the other Grenadier-Sentry duo further across the room, all four unrestrained enemies turning to face Tracy and Penguin Ninja.

"What the hell...?" the nearest Grenadier said, reaching for where his grenades had been a moment earlier, having to grab only his shield instead. Did that make him a Shielder instead?

"Ya better book it, kid," Keita said, the Gunner still trapped in the middle of Magic Jail™. The nearby Shielder rushed in to bash his shield into Penguin Ninja, while the chainsawless Sentry Unit dashed with remarkable speed for its size, aiming a wide swing of its remaining metal fist at Tracy. Meanwhile, the other Grenadier further back prepared to lob a grenade behind Tracy, while the other Sentry Unit had to slowly attempt to squeeze past the Magic Jail™ in the middle of the walkway, unable to do much else due to its size.

The soldier and Flying Drone still inside the previous room were quickly dealt with by Penguin Ninja and Nopenguin.

In the courtyard, Zombino had managed to deal with the Bomber and Sentry Unit before being blasted aside by a rogue grenade. The injuries he sustained were no joke either, leaving the monster dazed for a few moments before he got on his feet again, willing to rush into battle again.

Right as he charged forward, the long and sharp sound of creaking metal resounded behind him. After a few moments, a crimson bloodwound tore through the gate nearby him, continuing to shoot forward into the crowd of Sumeragi troops. Thanks to the noise, they were largely able to clear out of its way, the projectile shredding through a Flying Drone and an approaching Interceptor, grazing two Gunners and knocking them unconscious. One Gunner went down to an attack from Zombino, who had taken advantage of the commotion.

Through the broken gate stepped Frisk and Boboiboy, ready to lend some assistance.

"Get more forces out here! We've got two more intruders!"

A barrage of plasma, grenades, and missiles all flew out towards the three, the swarm of soldiers quick to respond to the new threats. Two more Gatling Sentry Units stepped into the fight, firing steady streams of plasma from their cannons at the intruders, while another Bomber came in from the factory, soaring overhead before eventually dropping a set of explosives onto the group.

Assembly 1:
1x Shielder
1x Sentry Unit (no chainsaw)
1x Grenadier
1x Sentry Unit (yes chainsaw)

Courtyard:
9x Gunners
5x Grenadiers
4x Homing Launchers
2x Gatling Sentry

FRISK DREEMURR

—Armament Factory Perimeter, Day 2 Afternoon—

The bloodwound was a little more effective than she’d expected, as it not only tore through the gate, leaving a sizable hole to step through, but it carried on into the thick of a horde of enemies.

Thankfully, none of them were killed.

Cyclone transitioned into Boboiboy, which Frisk noticed in her periphery. He seemed almost… pained from it, but quickly recovered. Was shifting his forms a painful experience? If so that really had to suck.

No time afforded to think any more about it, as the two were already entering the factory’s yard to find quite the mess of foes.

“Stay behind me for just one sec,” Frisk advised Bo as she raised her hand. Her SOUL hummed with power inside, fueled with Determination.

A reversal field appeared, bending around her and Bo. Every single projectile sent their way was suddenly caught within this red field of energy - and promptly sent right back to their owners.

A few months ago Frisk would have been screwed from an attack like that. Now, she was glad she had the tools to compensate. She maintained the field for a few more seconds to catch more attacks and send them back, in an attempt to make Sumeragi back off when they saw their tactic sucked at the moment.

Or she hoped, anyway.

Terrence "Fresh Laundry" Boom
The numerous distractions and immense amount of momentum that came with his shell-throwing technique was enough for Terrence to successfully get past Bark for a second time- that was a relief, as the teen had expected his lasting-magic to kill Bark’s motivation to fight altogether, but it had served to increase the polar bear’s ferocity, if only for a few moments. Bark was certainly tough- tough enough that they definitely wouldn’t be able to beat him by the time a mass of Sumeragi reinforcements showed up, even with the cyan wound, which was seemingly starting to compound its damage. That was good, at least, but they weren’t out of the woods by a long shot.

When Terrence landed, it was against the floor, where he did about three full rotations after touching down a couple of feet behind his teammates- no sight made the inherent dizziness of such a tactic far more bearable.

Bearable… Bark… there was a joke there, somewhere.

They could have run- perhaps SHOULD have run away, but… they hadn’t. Tracy and Kiwi had stuck around in the midst of this rising danger as he’d engaged with Bark and executed that convoluted plan to get back to the other end of the hall. Terrence had to admit he appreciated it- the penguins had played a big role in his shell-tactic working as well as it had. That said, they needed to go now!

Tracy continued to command her creatures with such efficiency and impressive power- every time Terrence thought her bag of tricks had to have run dry, there was another- swordsmen, zombies, penguin armies, what COULDN’T she summon?

“Right, let’s go- don’t worry about me, I’ll be at my best the second we’re out of this place!” Terrence quickly assured Tracy as he hurried both her and Kiwi along, taking up the rear in order to cover his teammates with the prismatic shell on his back- the first opportunity to do so came in the form of a grenadier attempting to blow Tracy up, to which Terrence was quick to stop and make a quick, forceful backward motion, to send the grenade flying backward off of his glistening turtlish-armor.

The Bard

Finally, it seemed Kiwi stopped screaming in mild terror with that strange melody behind it once Tracy called out for them to leave and Terrence assured them both not to worry.

"Huff...huff..." Kiwi panted, apparently a little tired from that, but quickly smacked their cheeks to force themselves to focus. "Uh...right! If you're both sure-" Before Kiwi could even finish speaking, everyone was on the move. They were onto the walkways above the first floor of Assembly 1, something that reminded him of the toy factory back in Chismest, and ascending it alongside the platforms where people were working.

Kiwi's singing, flew forth, fast paced and constantly moving for low to high, but such a thing belied an actual ability - For this singing swiftly formed an energy shield of sorts, a barrier against attacks through the shield coming from the back of the group as the squad were moving across the north of the floor - Including preventing the explosive grenades from reaching the group if they still landed near the shield, such as if Terrence's (very cool, in Kiwi's opinion) prismatic shell sending a grenade flying back didn't go far enough. They also looked on in wonder at the abilities of their peers, naturally. It was very bright, shifting between yellow (slightly downward), blue (slightly upward), and pink (singular direction) every so often.

"This is all so...." A small pause. "Unbearlievable!!!" Kiwi managed to say between notes, as if that was somehow a good pun. At least it wasn't unbearable. Although it's timing wasn't good, intentional comedy was not exactly the musician's strong point as it stood.

Some of that music, it's pacisfistic hopes, fluttered down below the walkways - It wasn't quiet, after all. Perhaps, one could hear it, but that was the flaw (or kindness, from another's perspective) of having to make loud sound to use your abilities.
