Welcome back in the huge world, Boryia Continent filled with many monsters, great kingdoms, mighty knights and many more to see! About a few years before Bracia's fight for the throne, the political situation between nations started to become more and more unstable, wars are breaking out, new rules come to replace the old. Not only wars, but also many monsters became active due to a tension and battles that start to appear around the world. Its a golden age for adventurers and Mercenaries. One of those seeking coin and luck people group was about to become a legend, Sapphire Group Mercenaries band!

Few rules!
1. Remember to follow pokecharms rules.
2. You can have Max 2 characters.
3. I can understand that you may have a lot of RL stuff to do, but try to be a bit active or tell why you cant be active. We will understand and try to adapt to you ^^
4. Violence will appear in rp, just don't overdo it.
5. Also, Romance is allowed but keep it PEGI 15 or so.
6. If you read all the rules, just put 'Black Lion' somewhere in your bio.

Kingdom of Bracia- Although it is mainly a human kingdom with humans having most of important positions, they try to be tolerant towards other races, not everyone share same point of view though.

Numekosian Empire- Bracia's greatest enemies, a powerfull nation ruled by the Emperor and his gatherings of 12 houses representatives called the 'Numerias'. They rule over the really big teritory and want just to make it bigger as for rivalry with Kiutori Empire. They look with their greedy eyes at Bracia and Colezia.

Kingdom of Colezia- Bracia's old allies, although the alliance pact may soon stop exist due to a king's sickness, they still are at friendly relationship with their old allies. There is huge possibility to renew the alliance as soon as Bracia's situation stabilizes.

Protectorats of Bletia and Perosia- Those countries kings are vassals of the emperor of Numekosia. Although they are allowed to keep the army, goverment and culture as they had before, they are under complete control and need to listen to Emperor's wishes. Due to a fact that they aren't allowed to have any other connections than the one with the Empire, those Kingdoms economy is also under Numekosian mercy.

Jile Kingdom- Also known as Capital of Trade, Jile is one of the few nations that managed to stay neutral with their neighbors, its well known for amount of gold and resources trade, it is one of the main leaders when it comes to economy of world and if something bad happend, it may affect rest of the world.

Kiutori Empire- Military wise most powerful Kingdom, which 12% of population are soldiers (wouldn't sound impressive if not for a fact of how huge is this nation population count) biggest rival of Numekosia and the kingdom that you may be the most afraid of. Currently seems to try and counquer south teritories.

Free City of Heymochan- The youngest nation as it is only 3 years old, due to cruelty of the ruling over this region of Kiutori Empire region in the past people started a revolt and killed the noble, although Emperor wanted to intervene at first, it is said that one of his kids asked to forgive this nation people and so they became their own country. Although its slightly affected by the politics of Kiutori they aren't their servants and posses their own goverment as well as they are free to connect with other nations.

Tzardom of Dubkia and Tzardom of Zveverezia- Once a powerfull country ruled by a Tzar was seperated in half for his two sons 97 years ago. Now, the next generation tries to unity their nations in war.

Argansiumia-One of the two Kingdoms of the Dwarfs, its King is also called one of the wisest mans in the world. He keeps peace between his nation and his neighbors really well and his country is one of main factors of trade in Jile.

Cemi Republic- Probably the most welcoming nations when it comes to how people of different races are threated there. You will find no racism ideologies there and even if then expect for guards to quickly take care of it. All citizens can decide on nation politics and citizen can be any person either born there or married with someone from this land. Due to their ideals, Tzardoms dislike them and there are often conflicts between nations. (Its goverment simply works like Ancient Athens basiclly)

Codurum- Land that was once a part of Republic, has been given to an Elves after Diocese of Bolmondia and Olsceslandic Empire destroyed their homes and tried to purge them. They manage to happily live there in peace as a non affected by anyone neutral nation, although elves would love to return to their own home they don't posses power nor numbers to reclaim it yet.

Ayrapalina- Small kingdom that tries its best to stay not conquered by Kiutori. Supported with weapons from Bolimodia and fighting off the aggresors.

Morkibeth- Another Kingdom fighting on a frontline against the Kiutori, but also is aware on Olsceslandic Empire. This Kingdom is a quite famous one for its silk and clothes making.

Seriaqia- Second Kingdom of the dwarfs that supported by Morkibeth tries to protect itself against Diocese. Due to that nation great hate to non-human races. Seriaqia craft in crafting metal items and objects is without second thought, the best in entire Boryia.

Brerivikia Confederation- country of a beastfolk (Don't mistake with inteligent monsters like Centaurs or Satyrs), which are a humanoid species with the animalistic features, each 'animal' kind of beastfolk has its clan which they took after. Hated by Diocese due to its racist propaganda and hate toward non-humans.

Imiupupetian Theocracy-Nation leaded by 6 archbishops of the six deities. Although the nation dislike non-humans, they don't go on killing spree at them. Its one of a few still neutral countries.

United Tribes- Country of inteligent monsters like Orcs, Centaurs, Satyrs, cyclops, Oni and etc. Each of the race have it tribe which merged with others making their nation. Due to a fact of not being accepted as a nation by other kingdoms, Olsceslandic Empire see it as a reason to claim their lands without worry to enrage other nations on political scene. Someone's acceptance on their nation may make them an allies to this person country.

Olsceslandic Empire- Land of the first Empire that existed in Boryia, now with its new rivals on the scene, this Kingdom policy changed from more military to more economical one and became second biggest place of trade.

Binefordia- Country of the Grant Prince that opposes Diocese, although he isn't seen as good warrior or diplomat, definitly a good lord who keeps prosperity in his lands for his people.

Diocese of Bolmodia- Country of the ex-bishop of the 6 deities, who served deity of light. He sees other races than humans a disgrace to gods and declared their anihilation. Country of fanatics disliked by other nations for greatly aggresive politic.

Norwickia- Land of the elves that was taken from them.. Now a duke that listens to bishop orders lives and rules there.

Mabinhamia and Tothamia- two allied nations that tries to stay neutral to others in their island, although they dislike actions of Diocese, they dont posses power to fight them and although their try their best, Bishop already seeks a casus beli to begin the war with them too.
Mana is essential to use Magic, it exists in the atmosphere and is divided into particles of each element. (There are six elements and every entity can posses only one element, expection are beast tamers who can posses their own and their beast Element).

The power to control mana is largely genetic. A census showed that roughly 1 in 30 children are able to sense mana, which can only be tested when one's mana core is completely developed — anywhere from early adolescence to late teen years. Once a mana core manifests, a translucent barrier forms around the awakened, which lasts a couple of minutes.

The six basic elements are-
Water
Fire
Wind
Earth
Light (Sometimes called Order)
Darkness (Sometimes called Chaos)

The Element that doesn't belong to any of those cathegories is called a Deviant, Deviants elements are really rare and due to how vast they can be in copabilities its hard to tell much about them, only thing it is although they are really original they also are much harder to be trained. (To posses a Deviant Element, I would like you to ask me first in conversation or disc.. with of what exacly this element is, its uses and etc)
Augmenters, users who enhance their bodies using mana, allowing them to possess incredible strength, defense, and agility. However, their weakness lies in their limited range. An augmenter's talent is measured by the strength of the mana channels in their body. This measures their speed and efficiency to relocate their mana from their mana core into various parts of their bodies. When Augmenters awaken, they form a pushing force around the barrier, signifying that they have dominant mana channels in their body; the degree of the force depends on their innate talent.
-Fundamentals of Augmenting: Augmenters utilize speed and precision in the use of one's mana core to properly distribute mana into different parts of the body. Being able to utilize the mana channels efficiently requires years of both mental and physical practice. Since augmenting involves extracting mana in its purest form, there are no highly notable signs or distinctions of an elemental sense at an early stage. However, augmenters are able to control their mana more freely, allowing them to fight through various different forms of augmentation.
-Augmentation Backlash: The phenomenon backlash occurs from depletion of the mana core, resulting in extreme physical pain for augmenters. Depending on how strenuous the damage to the mana core is, the heavier and more intense the pain is.
Conjurers, users who emit mana to the outside world allowing them to bend their surroundings to their will, possessing unfathomable powers. However, their weakness is that they must supplement their own mana core with mana from the outside world, to exert mana into their surroundings in the form of spells. A conjurer's talent is measured by the power of their mana veins. This measures their speed and effectiveness to absorb mana from the outside world into their own mana core. When Conjurers awaken, they form a vacuum of mana around them, signifying their dominance in their mana veins; the degree of the force depends on their innate talent.
-Fundamentals of Conjuring: Conjurers gather the surrounding mana in the area and draw it inwards. Once the mana is inside the body, one must circulate the mana into one's mana core to stabilize and purify the atmosphere's diluted mana. Conjurers use appropriate conductors such as a staff, wand, or ring to channel the mana using the proper incantations. The more powerful the spell, the longer it will take to draw in the surrounding mana, store it inside the mana core, and release it.
-Conjuring Backlash: The phenomenon backlash occurs from the overfilling of the mana core for conjurers. This is caused by the overuse of spells beyond the conjurer's capacity, or using a spell too powerful for the mana core to handle.
At some point however Conjurers and Augmenters with lots of practice and time put into training can use techniques of others on basic level. Like Augmenters can use basic spells of conjurers or conjurers with lots of expierience and practice may someday use basic body reinforcment or weapon enchantment like Augmenters use.
Mana Beasts are various unique animals, monsters and creatures that were born with the ability to absorb mana into their bodies and create their own mana cores, called beast cores. Mana Beasts are classified into E, D, C, B, A, AA, S,SS or SSS class (They can also vary in + and -), where the latter is rarely seen.

A beast core is a mana beast's mana core. That can be taken from monster body when it is killed. They have an unlimited amount of uses (Absorbing mana from them can speed up progress of ones training, they can also be used to create powerful magical devices or inventions, some can even have Beast Will), which makes them extremely valuable and highly sought after. The higher the classes the beast cores were, the more valuable.

Beast Will- Mana Beast have the ability to pass on their ‘will’, or ability to be more precise, to one person. Those people are called Beast Tamers. This is very rare, since mana beasts are generally aggressive and prefer to pass their will to their kin. There is also a small chance of acquiring the beast will from a beast's mana core dropped after their death. However, most mana beasts destroy their beast will when they are killed.

The best way to train the beast will acquired is being taught by the beast itself. The only other alternative mentioned was to study thoroughly about the beast itself so the beast tamer can learn and practice the traits of the beast.
(If you want to become a Beast Tamer either from the very beginning or during the rp, I would like you to inform me with question to permission, we can also discuss Rank of a beast that Beast Will came from and what Element it had, what species it was etc.. What could be their abilities)

Beast Tamers are mages that are capable of harnessing the unique ability inherited from a Mana Beast's Beast will.
They can use two stages from their powers and abilities-

First Stage - The First Stage known as the Acquire Phase, Is when the Beast Tamer is a able to borrow their Beast's Inherent Strengths.

Second Stage - The Second Stage known as the Integrate Phase, Is when the Beast Tamer is able to Truly utilize their Beast's Unique Ability and Characteristics.
Humans- I don't think this one needs much of explanation, this is the race that lives in almost entire continent and is the dominant one, they overall adaptility and knowledge let them spread vast through this world.

Elves- Similar to humans, but longliving with better affinity to be the Conjurers or Deviants than Agumenters.

Dwarfs- Race of small, bulky humanoids with great affinity to be augumenters, Dwarfs are known for their craft to be above human levels.

Beastfolk- they look like a humans with animals characteristics. They are seperated by clans, that show which animal they represent (For example, one with short claws in their hands and black, feathered wings may be a part of a Crow Clan)

Inteligent Monsters- More of a group of Races than a one race, inteligent monsters are the cathegory of beings that are or were seen as a monstrocities, but are inteligent enough to form groups, societist and their own culture. Goblins, Oni, Centaurs, Orcs and Minotaurs are just an examples of few races from this cathegory.

My Lieutenant character bio

Name: Tamo Nothero
Age:20
Race: Beastfolk (Tiger, has orange blond- Crowblack hair and longer than humans fangs, also posses short claws in hands)
Appearance: He is around 5'11 feets tall man with orange blond-Black hair and Sapphire eyes. He usually wears simple fur coat unless he is fighting. He have a scar from forcibly imprinted mark of a slave that was made by pressing the hot iron.
Personality: Hard to predict type of a person, he is very loyal to the current leader, although not as much as to a previous one. Although he posses a huge combat expierience and outstanding strenght, he himself didn't become a leader as he didn't want to and was terrible at commanding others. Although he is bad as someone that commands, he definitly has really small amout of equals when it comes to combat. Friendly and kind for other members of the group, often up to help them, but not eager to take a spotlight. As long as he has something that is like family to him, he is happy and eager to protect it.

Beast Tamer: In the future on the rp
Backstory: Tamo doesn't remember his family nor origin, his earliest memory was pain dealt by hot metal pressed on his skin, for eternity giving him a burned mark that he is Kiutori Empire slave. He worked in one noble house during his early years, but one day, he offended his owner friend with his honest opinion about how he threat slaves, in response they sended him to die in the arena, where he faced as a 11 years old boy an C+ class Mana Beast and managed to kill it, risking his life. It was truly a shocking turn of the events as no expected for child to be this strong, even for a beastfolk. Still, he wasn't sentenced for Arena, but for death and when they sended an A class monster, Black Lion, to kill him. Previous leader of Sapphire Moon Mercenaries killed the beast with ease and requested if he can take the boy.. After a while Tamo joined the ranks of the Mercenaries, who threated him well, which make him to feel like a part of a family. At age of 14, he heard from previous leader he is allowed to go anywhere he wish, yet, he decided to stay with his 'family' and fight for them.

Appearance: His skin has a yellow-orange tint, black swept-over hair, beady pitch black primary eyes, beady black extra pair of eyes on his cheekbones(most people assume they're small black pearls), 5'7", skinny and decently muscled, a large scorpion tail. He usually wears tight-ish black clothing.
Personality: Often excited and friendly, it's never a dull moment with Humphrey. He's loyal and childlike.

Beast Tamer: No. If he was he'd probably have a Black Lion
Backstory: His father was excited to discover how quickly Humphrey could absorb mana from his environment. It wasn't a legendary speed, but it was enough to set a pretty high bar for Free. He wasn't very good at wielding that mana, however, and was only able to release exploding projectiles and raw explosions.

Chaos and darkness are synonymous in this world?
They kind of are, due to each element power source lays in one of the six deities, Although Element is called 'Darkness', Deity that rules over this element is called a Chaos Deity.
i'd like to ask if you can have two elements or just one, since i'm thinking of making a character being a balance of Chaos and Order
Everyone can posses only one element, with the exception for a Beast tamer, who can use his beast will and his beast element. So he has his own Element and beasts Element.
But, if you don't want to be a beasttamer then another option is that you make a 'Balance' element that could make you a Deviant.
It could for example use both Chaos and Order, but could have some restriction so it isn't more op this way, but thats a proposition.

Of course, she tends to keep her birthplace a secret for this reason, too, as she has lost...more than a few 'friends' over it. Despite this, she hides behind a mask of cheerfulness and carelessness, to hide her doubts and fears. Despite her attempts to keep her birthplace a secret, she is very much a follower of tradition, and therefore not very convincing in her lie.

Backstory: The child of the highest ranking General of the Numekosian empire, Kiri was raised to be responsible and true to herself. When her Mana core's darkness was discovered, her Father worked to protect her, as much of the world, from his view, did not seem to like Chaos. She grew bored, however, and snuck out of her home. When she watched a battle unfold, she ran away in terror of the bloodshed at first, her abilities as a Dark Augmenter assisting her in the escape. Now far from home, she encountered the Mercs, and weaselled her way into joining them, wanting to build herself up so she won't be that scared again so she can talk to her father on even grounds.

Race: Elf
Appearance: Medium length hair, tied into a pony-tail and darker than the night itself; both meticulously cared for and maintained. Mellow brown skin and graceful slender appendages attached to a somewhat buxom figure. Bright eyes that flicker frivolously.

Personality: Willing to do anything for the right price, Serias is a free-lancing mercenary that specializes in larceny. To her, everything is for sale, so long as an appropriate price can be met. Her life, fealty, even the very clothes off her back have a price tag. However, not all Serias’ transactions can be paid in cash. While everything certainly has a price, there isn’t enough money on the planet to buy her life— after all, what use have the deceased for wealth?

She strives to complete any mission she takes and will use any means available to do just that. She places immense value on her ‘contracts’ and will never break one she’s made. However, should the contract be faulty for any reason e.g. inaccurately provided or misleading information, the payment will need to be reassessed or the contract itself rendered void.

Disregarding her doctrine, Serias is a mischievous and flirty woman who takes pride in her skills. She aspires to one day live a life of leisure and posh; but, only after she’s had her fill of danger and excitement.

Elemental Magic: Darkness (Chaos)

Backstory: Born of a tryst between an elven mother and a father whose origins she’s never known, Serias grew up on the move as her mother taught her the laws of nature. Namely, the principle that everything in life has a price. Unhealthy behavior is rewarded with illness. Hard-work produces results. This doctrine was something Serias cranked up to 11 and took very literally.

Country of Origin: Tzardom of Zveverezia

Other: One of her favorite party tricks is the conjuration of a Black Lion to scare party-goers.

Since no one's gonna take leader then I guess, I'll take it :v

Name: Technically has no name, and is free to be nicknamed. Usually responds to "slime".

Race: Slime (Intelligent Monster)
Appearance: As a slime, it doesn't have a set appearance. It can morph into a more humanoid look, but usually just appears like a cyan slime from Dragon Quest (whatever that is) with black eyes.
Personality: While it can't talk, the slime clearly has a personality. It's childish and inquisitive, to the point where someone would have to keep track of it so it wouldn't wander off. It's also extremely loyal to people it considers friends, although it's not hard to make it think of you as one, since, despite its high intelligence for a slime, it's still quite gullible and friendly.

Depending on the environment, the slime can change it's appearance, and possibly element. This is, however, heavily dependent on the surrounding area and due to his lack of skill, the slime can't change forms at will.
And of course, the main disadvantage is that it's a slime, not a Black Lion. Not a lot of power in radiating from it.
Augmenter or Conjurer: Technically a Conjurer, but different forms can have augmenter effects.
Country of Origin: Was "born" near the Kingdom of Bracia, and spent a fair amount of its life in there before he was seen and fled.
Best Tamer: Nope.
Backstory: Slimes aren't typically an intelligent, or even remotely strong, race. They are, however adaptable. And with all the mitosis slimes do, one is gonna pop out thinking more than the others.

The slime had learned from his breathren's corpses that nearing humans was a baaad idea. Yet it's inquisitive nature made it often spend its days watching humans in nearby cities, before it was eventually spotted and shooed off. Nowadays it's simply wanders the lands, occasionally stalking people out of curiosity, and running for it's life when it's spotted.

Race: Elf
Appearance: Medium length hair, tied into a pony-tail and darker than the night itself; both meticulously cared for and maintained. Mellow brown skin and graceful slender appendages attached to a somewhat buxom figure. Bright eyes that flicker frivolously.

Personality: Willing to do anything for the right price, Serias is a free-lancing mercenary that specializes in larceny. To her, everything is for sale, so long as an appropriate price can be met. Her life, fealty, even the very clothes off her back have a price tag. However, not all Serias’ transactions can be paid in cash. While everything certainly has a price, there isn’t enough money on the planet to buy her life— after all, what use have the deceased for wealth?

She strives to complete any mission she takes and will use any means available to do just that. She places immense value on her ‘contracts’ and will never break one she’s made. However, should the contract be faulty for any reason e.g. inaccurately provided or misleading information, the payment will need to be reassessed or the contract itself rendered void.

Disregarding her doctrine, Serias is a mischievous and flirty woman who takes pride in her skills. She aspires to one day live a life of leisure and posh; but, only after she’s had her fill of danger and excitement.

Backstory: Born of a tryst between an elven mother and a father whose origins she’s never known, Serias grew up on the move as her mother taught her the laws of nature. Namely, the principle that everything in life has a price. Unhealthy behavior is rewarded with illness. Hard-work produces results. This doctrine was something Serias cranked up to 11 and took very literally.

Other: One of her favorite party tricks is the conjuration of a Black Lion to scare party-goers.
