Bralean Forms Collection

Bralean Heatmor (Steel/Flying)
Based on vacuum cleaners/hoovers, which were invented in Iowa. It’s color scheme also resembles a giant anteater.
Dex Entries:
“It’s said that the furry sack on it’s tail swells when it eats a lot of Bug Pokémon. They also subsist on a diet of dust and minerals, which they use their long snouts to suck up. They are complete neat freaks, cleaning their territories regularly.”
"It's transparent stomach is usually filled with dust and Bug Pokemon they find. It can spit out contents they find either through their nose or their tail. Many households keep them as pets due to their reliability and usefulness."
Abilities: Earth Eater /Aerilate
Signature Move:
Vacuum Vortex: A two-turn 75 base power special Flying move. On the first turn, the user sucks up the target's item and does damage. On the second turn, the user fires the item back at the target while doing more damage than the last turn. If an item was sucked up on the first turn, the second hit's damage is doubled.

Minior is a star but it's still a flying type. Alolan exeggutor (if that's how you spell it) is a dragon type even though it's just a palm tree. Having a Pokemon based on a vacuum be a flying type wouldn't be that far out there. Cool idea!
Bralean Bouffalant (Ice)
Based on Babe the Blue Ox, a mountain, and bison covered in snow. All three of these things originate in the Midwest area.
Dex Entries:
“Its head and back are usually covered in snow due to them plowing through the snowdrifts using their heads, searching for grass and leaves. They have a strong sense of smell because their vision is usually impaired. Sometimes, they fell trees using a single horn.”
"Bralean Bouffalant are often larger than their Unovan counterparts, with higher stamina and strength. In northern Brale they are used as working animals, especially in the lumber industry. The older members of the herd have longer icicles on their horns."

Maybe it could be an ice/rock type? I dunno, just spitballing
As much as that sounds cool, I do have a reasons why it’s just Ice type. I wouldn’t want a regional form based on a famous mythical lumberjack’s companion to be weak to Grass, and it evolves into an Ice/Fighting type.

Bovunyan (Ice/Fighting)
Based on Babe the Blue Ox, Paul Bunyan, a snowy mountain, bison covered in snow, and lumberjacks.
Dex Entries:
“If you see a clearing filled solely with stumps, that is the work of a Bovunyan. It is said that it’s tail can cleave through the toughest of trees in three swing. It spends its time gnawing the leaves of trees that they knock down and cut up.“
"Upon evolution, their snow-covered fur has become a tough hide that is resistant to the cold. Contrary to their large stature, they are gentle giants, acting as guardians to the Pokémon in the northern forests of Brale. Many smaller Pokémon like Slakoth and Cinccino take shelter in its beard."
Abilities: Huge Power / Stamina / Cud Chew

Bralean Aerodactyl (Rock/Electric)
Based on the Van Meter Visitor and Thunderbirds, both cryptids of the Midwest. It’s also partially based on laser pointers.
It’s revived from the Energized Amber.
Dex Entries:
“When it flies, it’s said that its feathers on the chest, back, and tail crackle with static electricity. Scientists believe it had more, but the revival process couldn’t preserve all of them and petrified the feathers it could.“
"There are cave paintings of these creatures that depict their cries being the source of thunder, which implies they lived longer than their Kantonian counterparts. It fires blasts of lightning from the horn on it’s head."
