Congratulations!
If you’re reading this message, that means you are one of the lucky upcoming trainers selected to take part in the Canza island’s gym challenge!

As you probably already know, Canza island has always been known as a popular vacation spot for people all across the world!! But now, the Canza Island will now begin hosting its very own gym challenge! You trainers have been hand picked by our committee based on your strong applications! You should be proud, it was a very rigorous decision process!
In the island of Canza, you’ll get to experience many attraction and wonders, such as vast jungles, mysterious caves, and even the world’s first underwater city!

Lets meet the famous faces of Canza!

Professor Poppy: The head of Pokémon research in Canza. You’ll meet her when you first dock at the beaches of Carnavan Town, where her lab is.

Sir. Sebastian: Former Heir to the throne that once ruled over Canza before a democracy was instilled. Head of the ‘White Knights’, a group formed by his family that has protected the wildlife of Canza for years.

Governor Cassandra: The current leader of Canza.

THE GYM LEADERS:
Henry: The first gym leader you will face. He’s a normal type trainer.

Ferguson: The second gym leader you will face. He’s a grass type trainer.

Alexandria: The third gym leader you will face. She is a psychic trainer.

Christopher: The fourth gym leader you will face. He is a fire trainer.

Scarlet: The fifth gym leader you will face. She is a flying trainer.

Lolita: The sixth gym leader you will face. She is a water trainer.

Luna: The seventh gym leader you will face. She is a ghost trainer.

Marcy: The eight gym leader you will face. She is a dragon trainer.

That’s enough information for now! You’ll learn more about the Canza island as your adventure progresses. I can’t wait to meet everyone! See you soon!

Backstory: Zack grew up in Postwick, where his mother ran a mini daycare for the Pokémon there. One day an unruly impidimp was causing issues around postwick, but using some Pokémon staying at the day care, Zack was able to capture and befriend the impidimp. Noticing his natural talent for battling, his mother suggested he sign up for the contest Canza was offering, and he was one of the few selected trainers!

Zack stepped off of the large cruise ship and onto the dock of Carnavan beach. The sun beamed down as he walked onto the beach, stepping around children playing and small Pokémon running about. He pulled out the letter from the Canza League association and skimmed the instructions to meet Professor Poppy’s assistant at the end of the dock, where she’ll take him and the other trainer to the lab.
“Hello!” Said a voice in front of him. Zack looked up from his letter to see a young woman in a lab coat and glasses infront of him. In her hands was a blue shellos. “You must be one of the new trainers! My name is Lucile, I’m professor Poppi’s assistant... her second in command of you will. No big deal or anything...!” She chuckled at herself. “I would shake your hand up my arms are a little occupied with this guy!”
“My name is Zack!” Right on cue, his impidimp crawled up his back and sat on his shoulder. “And this little trouble maker is my impidimp!”
“Well, nice to meet you Zack! If you don’t mind, we should wait for a few more trainers to find us here before I take you to Poppy’s lab!”

Backstory: Drago grew up in the Village of the Dragons.
Upon starting his journey the Village Elders gave him a newly hatched Axew, his purpose was to raise it to a fully fledged Haxorus.
The first stop on his journey was the Opelucid City Gym.
The leader was Drayden who specialised in Dragon types. He was famous with the Village children for raising such powerful Dragon type Pokemon.
Naturally Drago wanted to challenge him. Unfortunatly Drago and Axew were crushed by Drayden and his Haxorus but before they could leave Drayden gave Drago some advice.
To sign up for the Canza Island Gym Challenge. Drago accepted and boarded the ferry from Nuvema Town to Canza Island.

The warm azure waters glistened as the sun lit the ocean like a light bulb, there were various water pokemon in the water: Corsola, Wailmer, Luvdisc, Octillery, Seadra. All of them as far as the eye could see. On the top deck of the ferry was a young tan boy with curly black hair and warm choclatey eyes he was dressed in summer attire and donned a green sunhat on top of his unruly do.
His name was Drago and he had travelled all the way from the Unova region to take on the Canza Island Gym Challenge.

"Wow its beautiful." Drago exclaimed.

"Canza Island, dead ahed." Said the Captain.

"Oh man, i'm so excited. I can't wait for this you should be excited too Axew.
He threw a Pokeball into the air in a flash of blue light a small draconid Pokemon materialised.

"Ew, ew axew." Axew exclaimed rather sleepily, the baby pokemon stuck its arms out as if to say 'pick me up im tired.'

"Aw. Your still sleepy Axew." Drago picked him up. "Lets get you up here."
Drago picked Axew up and held the Pokemon to his chest. Soon the baby Pokemon fell asleep in its trainers arms. Drago looked at Axew and felt an immense warmth rise up in him, ever since he recieved Axew they have shared a special connection.

Crash! Was the sound of the boat docking into the harbour.

"Axew, we're here."

"AXEW, EW." The baby Pokemon jumped up in surprise before crashing to the ground.

"Ew, ew." It said.

"AXEW! Phew, you're Ok next time try to be more careful."
The pair clambered down the ferry stairs onto Carnavan beach. Where do we go now? Drago thought.
He asked a sailor who told him to go to the end of the docks.
Drago sped off to the end of the docks, he was so excited he could hardly wait.

Axew could not relate at all in fact all this running made it feel quite queezy.
"Ew, Ew." It muttered.

The pair had soon arrived at the docks which was surprisingly empty, so it was not hard to find who he was looking for.

He aproached a lady with a blue Shellos and an older boy with an Impidimp on his shoulder.

“Oh, hello! I’m Lucile, and you must be.... Drago! Nice to meet you!”

“I’m Zack!” Zack said, as Impidimp hopped of his shoulder and ran up to Draco. “And this is Impidimp!”

Lucile glanced at her watch before taking one more look at the crowd coming off of the cruise ship.

“Well, it looks like I might just be you two for now!” She said. “Other trainers made it here on the earlier ships, and there’s still a few more coming in tonight.... but just Incase I missed anyone, I’ll stay here and wait. You two make your way to the lab, it’s the big white building you’ll find as soon as you get off the boardwalk. It’s right next to the Pokémon center!”

“Gotcha, thank you!” Zack said, before picking impidimp up and putting him back on his shoulder. “Ready to go, Drago?”

"Yup, lets go!"

Axew jumped down from Drago's shoulder on the ground to meet Impidimp.
"Ew, Axew." Axew smiled at the Impidimp.

"Impidimp huh, I've never seen it Unova, it looks so cool."

“Thank you! Your axew is super cool too!” Zack said, while impidimp beamed in response to the complement. He began to make his way down the boardwalk toward the Laboratory, passing many people and Pokémon enjoying their vacations. “I’ve never been to Unova, but I heard it’s a beautiful region! I’ve never actually left Galar, so this is kind of a crazy new experience for me. This place looks like it’s a lot different from Galar!.... oh! I think the lab is this way!” Zack said, turning left and walking through a big arch taking them out of the boardwalk. Sure enough, there was a large white building besides a Pokémon center. Infront of the building stood two woman having a serious looking discussion. One of them had short, messy blonde hair, looked to be in her late 40s, and wore a similar Lab coat to Lucille. The other woman was tall, had well kept light brown hair, and wore a fancy-looking black pantsuit.

“I’m sorry Professor, but you have to understand that the White Knights are providing an extremely important service in keeping the ecosystem of Canza prosperous. Our leader, my own brother, Sir. Sebastian has given the order to keep all citizens outside of route 1 while the White Nights deal with the excessive waste in the water!”

“Valorie, I understand your concern with the environment,” Professor poppy began, “but the pollution levels in route 1 are in check! If anything they’ve been declining! I don’t understand why this is happening now, especially with the trainers who just arrived here!”

“We understand that the timing is not ideal, but we also realize that anyone can make it to Jupiter City through the forest!” Valorie responded.

“The forest will take trainers more than day to trek through! They’ll have to camp there for the night!” Professor Poppy said.

“I’m sorry, but I’m just following orders. We will make sure that Route 1 is reopened as soon as possible.” And with that, Valorie walked away.

Professor Poppy sighed, before noticing the trainers in-front of her. “Oh heavens, I’m so sorry! You two must be new trainers here to participate in the gym challenge! My name is Professor Poppy. And you two are?”

“I’m Zach!” Zach exclaimed. “And this is my partner, Impidimp!”

With a proud voice he replied. "Im Drago! From the Village of the Dragons. This is my partner Pokemon Axew, please excuse Axew its a little tired from the journey from Unova to Canza Island."

“Wow, you’ve both come a long way!” Poppy chuckled, then bent down to pet Axew. “Aw I bet you’re tired...” She then stood back up. “Alright where was I.... oh right!! Come inside the lab!”

She turned around and placed her hand on a chrome tile infront of the lab. It glowed green, and the two large glass sliding doors slid open. Zack followed behind.

Zack looked around at all the wonders inside of the lab. There were large screens displaying various live feeds of wild areas, tanks full of exotic water Pokémon, and lots of big expensive looking machinery. Also there were dozens of women and men in lab-coats running around, most with their eyes fixed on clipboards.

“I’m sorry if I’m a little bit scattered right now, I don’t know if you saw but I had a bit of a.... conversation... with that woman out front. I’m sorry to say that route 1 is closed for the time being... but there is still a way to get into Jupiter City through the woods! It’s a bit of a detour, but there are lots of interesting Pokémon to discover there... oh, speaking of!” She turned to her desk, opened, and pulled out two items. “These may look like ordinary watches, but they’re actually a new invention of mine! The Can-bracelet! Not only can the tell time, but they can perform video and voice chats, they can take pictures, and they even have a built in Pokédex!” She handed one to each of them. “Pokédexs are a handy tool to have as trainers, since they give you valuable information on Pokémon you’ve caught. It’s customary that we give all trainers here a Can-bracelet!”

“Thank you very much!” Zack said, slapping on his Can-bracelet.

“You’re welcome! Anything to aid you children as you start your journey in Canza! Normally I would suggest you two battle... but with Impidimp being a fairy type and axew being a dragon type it isn’t exactly going to be a fair match..... oh! Here!” She turned back to her desk and pulled out two pouches, and gave one to each of them. “These each have 5 poke balls in them. Try and catch some strong Pokémon to accompany you as you travel to Jupiter city! Maybe once you two have some more Pokémon companions, I would suggest a battle!”

“That sounds like a good idea to me! Thank you professor!” Zack said, taking the poke balls.

Drago walked into the lab the glossy floor, the bright white lights and the expensive tech differed so much from the wooden huts earthy tones and wilderness back home. He put the Can-bracelet on his wrist, it was a little tight with all the added weight he gained from lounging about on the ferry but a couple of weeks on the island would fix that.
Professor Poppy handed him the Can-bracelet. Drago was marvelled by the Can-bracelet. How could such a small item be capable of so many things?

Professor me and Axew have been itching for a battle ever since we got here so please could I battle Zach...with a cherrim on top?

“Well....” the professor considered, “I suppose I can let you two battle... as long as Zack is okay with it”

“I’m down for a battle!” Zack exclaimed.

“Perfect!” Poppy said. “Follow me out back!”

Poppy lead the trainers through the backdoors into a large field out back. In the center of the field was a large rectangle of pavement decorated to look like an actual Pokémon area.

Zach stood at one end of the pavement, and impidimp jumped infront of him.

“Ready?” Professor Poppy called out.

"Ready!" Drago exclaimed. Axew jumped down from its trainers shoulder onto the battlefield Axew was facing Impidimp.

“Ready!” Zack yelled.

“Okay then” Poppy began. “... ready.... set.... go!”

“Impidimp! Use Bite!”

Impidimp jumped up in the air, landing on Axew, and latched onto him with his teeth.

Axew cried out in pain from from the move it was struggling to shake of Impidimp.
"Axew!, ram yourself into the ground that way you should be able to shake off Impidimp."
Axew rammed itself into the ground.

Axdew rammed itself into the group, flinging Impidimp off of it. Impidimp landed with a thud like 10 feet away.

"Yes way to go Axew!"
Axew gave a small victory dance before wincing in pain, Axew already suffered from that bite move but trying to shake off Impidimp resulted in it getting more hurt.

"Axew can you still battle?"

Axew gave an affirmative reply.

Drago became more serious, they could not afford to take another hit.

“You okay Impidimp?” Zack called out. Impidimp nodded in reply. “Okay... let’s finish this! Use play rough!”

Impidimp’s fists glew a bright pink color, and he lurched at Axdew, swinging his hands and feet wildly.

Axew collided wwith Impidimps fists and went flying into the air before falling hard on the ground below.
Drago waited for the dust to clear before running to the centre of the battlefield, Axew had fainted.

"You did great buddy." Drago said he returned Axew and a beam of red light took Axew back to its Pokeball.

Professor Poppy then blew a whistle and said "Since this was one on one battle between Zach and Drago and Axew has been fainted Zach and Impidimp win!"

“Nice job Impidimp!” Zach cheered, before returning his Pokémon to his ball. “And great job Drago. Impressive Axew! I really only won cause of the type advantage. We’ll have a more fair one day!”

“Excellent job, both of you!” Professor Poppy said. “I have a really good feeling about the two of you. Perhaps one of you two will be the next champion of Canza Island! Oh, let me heal your Pokémon, and then you two should be on your way through the woods to Jupiter City, where the first gym is!” She took their poke balls and brought them inside to a healing machine, healed them, then handed them back. “Oh, and make sure you’re prepared for some camping, it’s a long trip!”

“Thank you for everything, Professor!” Zach said.

Drago walked outside of the lab and released Axew from its Poke ball
"Ew, Ew Axew!" Axew ran about Drago's feet.

"Well that was a speedy recovery." Drago said impressed

Axew then ran up to Zach looking for Impidimp.

Drago chuckled "I think its looking for Impidimp."

Backstory: Aevis grew up in Mistralton City.
One day he was strolling through Celestial Tower when a Golbat attacked him and bit him on his arm. There was no one to save him, so he was trapped there for about 3 hours until a Litwick came up to him and nursed him until he was well again. Ever since then Aevis and Litwick were best friends and partners.

The soft clunking of the ship docking at Canza awoke Aevis from his light sleep.

"Looks like we're here, Litwick," he whispered to the little white lump in his palm that was Litwick.

"Liit..." groaned the candle Pokemon as it awoke from it's slumber.

As soon as Aevis got out, he was greeted by a young lady with a blue Shellos.

"Sorry I'm late" he told the lady, as Litwick surveyed her Shellos with big, yellow eyes.

Drago had just left Professor Poppy's lab and was heading back towards Carnavan Beach.
He was passing through the docks when he saw another trainer with Lucile.

"Axew, lets check it out looks like there is another trainer with Lucile."

"Axew, axew, ew!"

Drago and Axew walked over to Lucile.

"Hi!" He said to the older looking boy.

Litwick playfully nudged Aevis on his leg and pointed in the direction of a young boy with brown eyes, who was approaching him with a tiny Axew at his side.

"Oh, uh, hi" stuttered Aevis, as Litwick shifted his curious eyes from the blue Shellos to the green draconid Pokemon.

Backstory: Mike and Surskit always wanted to participate in an adventure. But before he could go on an adventure in Hoenn, Mike heard about Canza Island. Mike wanted to go on an adventure on Canza Island so he signed up, and was one of the selected few.

Surskit spun around in joy “Sur Sur!” he said.
Mike and Surskit got off the boat and walked down the dock. On Carvanha Beach there appeared to be three people talking to each other. Two looked like trainers, but one kinda looked like a professors assistant.

Axew ran up to Litwick and said hello.

"Litwick, Lit!" Litwick gurgled, clearly ecstatic.

It made its way over to Axew, tripping out of its excitement. It shuffled itself right in front of the Dragon type and did a small welcome dance.

"Yeah... he's an enthusiastic one, Litwick," Aevis said, shuffling in place out of nervousness. His Pokemon's orchid flame was burning fiercely, indicating that he was happy.

"Oh, sorry, I forgot to ask you your name," Aevis said to the younger boy, glancing over to him as he spoke.

"The names Drago, wait are you in the Canza Island Gym Challenge." Drago 's eyes lit up with excitement.
"If you are that would be so cool!" He said in awe.
Axew clapped in excitement while watching Litwick, it tried to copy Litwicks dance but ended up falling on its head.
"Poor Axew, Drago lifted the draconicid pokemon up into his arms."

"Axeeeeeeew." It groaned in pain. A small bruise appeared on Axew's forehead from its fall.

"Ooh, that looks nasty." Drago exclaimed! "Cmon lets get you to a Pokemon centre little one."

"Yeah, lets go. Litwick, return," Aevis pointed his blue and red Great Ball at the small, white pile. Almost instantly, the candle Pokemon turned a neon red as a red laser fixated on it. Litwick was morphed into the beam quickly and it soon was completely inside the ball.

"I need to go to the Pokemon Centre anyway. Lucile told me that I needed to get my Can bracelet before I could progress onto Route 1."

He looked at Drago with a lopsided smile.

"My name's Aevis. Someday, I want to be a Pokemon Gym Leader. That's why I signed up for Canza Island's gym challenge."

Aevis put his Pokeball to his heart and closed his eyes.

'I will avenge you, Father. I promise'

"Anyway, we should get going now," Aevis said with a newfound confidence.

"There Axew is all ready and done."
Drago turned round to face Nurse Joy and Axew who was being carried on a silver tray.
Axew donned a bandage where his bruise was.

"Wow, you look better already Axew."

"Axeeeew."

"Just make sure Axew does not scratch off the bandage, keep changing the bandage every 2 days to make sure it heales well." She said while giving him a pack of bandages.

"Nurse Joy." Are you by any chance releated to the Joy's from Unova? Drago asked.


"Well, only very distantly however one of my sisters from Canza island has gone to do emergency work in Sinnoh so we're all over the place she laughed."

"Wow thats so cool." Drago chimed

"Axeeeew, eew." Axew said doing a mini jump in the air.

"Hey now careful we dont want you getting hurt again." Nurse Joy said.

"Yeah, listen to Nurse Joy." Drago chimed

Drago picked Axew up and put it in his arms.

"Hey, where is Aevis and Litwick?"

"Lit... " Litwick took a deep breath in. The scent of the flowers right outside the Pokemon Centre rushed into his nose, calming the little wick down with every breath.

"Litwick, Drago's probably looking for us by now. We need to go," Aevis insisted somewhat sternly.

Litwick pointed it's snubby nose up defiantly as if to say no.

Aevis sighed. As tiny and cute as Litwick may be, you only need one look into its mischievous eyes to realise that it was completely without morals.

He shifted his notice from Litwick towards his Pokedex, swiftly pressing keys and buttons.

"Axew, the Tusk Pokemon. They play with each other by knocking their large tusks together. Their tusks break sometimes, but they grow back so quickly that it isn't a concern."

'Hmm, so this is what I'm up against,' thought Aevis.

He glanced back at Litwick, who was wading through the flowers, slightly burning each of them with its flame.

'If I have any chance of getting stronger, I'll have to challenge someone different.'

Drago stepped out of the Pokemon Centre, with Axew safely in his arms.
Litwick and Aevis were standing outside the Pokemon centre, Litwick looked particularly happy in the flowers.

"Oh, hi you two." Me and Axew were looking for you."

"Told you so," Aevis said, looking at Litwick with a triumphant grin. Litwick rolled its eyes.

Ask him.

Aevis stood in silence for a while, staring at his feet before looking at the Axew in Drago's arms.

Ask him about the battle.

No, no. He couldn't. Especially with Axew barely being out of the Pokemon Centre for less than a minute. It would be cruel to further hurt a wounded Pokemon.

You'll never get stronger.

With that, Aevis looked back at Drago, his thoughts taking control.

"Hey Drago," he stuttered, "uhh... I was wondering..."

Seriously?

Aevis regained some of his confidence.

"...if you would want to do a Pokemon battle? I figured that Litwick here would benefit from a bit more experience. Fighting pilots and sky trainers everyday back at Unova doesn't really add much variety..."

Aevis paused.

"..but if you dont want to, thats ok... it's not really a necessity... Axew must be tired..."

Litwick gave a satisfied smirk and continued to incinerate the flowers in the flower bed.

Drago stood indifferent for a moment before his eyes lit up with glee.

"Would I Of course I would!"

"Axew, do you think you can battle."

"Axeeeew." It looked up at its trainer and smiled happily.

"I guess thats a yes. "Oh man this is so exciting!"

"We'll need somewhere to battle so we can use the Pokemon centres outdoor battlefield but we'll need a referee."

'Phew' thought Aevis.

He straightened up, glad to have his trust in his thoughts restored.

The chalky pavement complimented Aevis' rough shoes, as his brown hair flew in the wind.

"Hmm, now for a referee..." Just as he pondered the situation, the Nurse Joy that healed Drago's Axew walked up to the battlefield.

"I heard you needed a referee," she said. "I'll be happy to oblige."

"Perfect timing. Thanks, Nurse Joy!" Aevis looked at Drago and Axew enthusiastically.

"Ok, Litwick, time for a battle!"

Immediately, Litwick stopped loafing around in the flower bed. Its normal, cheery smile had been replaced with a serious and determined face. The purple flame on its head burned fiercely, and it flailed its arms about in an attempt to intimidate. It puffed up with determination, only to fall flat on its face and get up again, more determined than ever.

'I have to play it safe,' Aevis thought to himself. 'Even though Axew's a baby Pokemon, it can hit hard, and I don't think Litwick will be able to take a hit from it.'

Aevis looked at his opponent straight in the eye.

"Ready?" he called.

Backstory: Dark grew up in Kanto but early in his life moved to Johto to experience the life and culture. He heard of the beautiful sights in Canza Island, and wanted to see the pokemon as well (having only seen Kanto-Johto pokemon). Dark thought a gym battle adventure would be the perfect way to.

Dark woke up and get dressed. "Ugh out of all the people who applied I had to go this late?" Dark said out loud. "Murkrow!" Murkrow exclaimed. "Shut your beak, I am grateful I was chosen, but I wanna go out there, explore the world." "Krow, Murkrow!" "Yes, yes I already know. I swear I will NEVER replace you. You are my best friend Shade." "KROW!" Murkrow yelled happily.

Dark sailed off to Canza excited, while Dark was at sea he saw the beautiful waves washing along the boat and some weird pokemon. Dark grabbed out his pokedex he got from professor Birch. Wailmer the water whale pokemon. It bounces playfully like a ball. The more seawater it swallows, the higher it bounces. The Pokedex went on about its stats but Dark ignored it and kept starring at the new pokemon. "Murkrow do you see that?" "Krow Krow!" Murkrow said. "WE'RE HERE!" the captain yelled from the deck. Dark looked around in awe. "WOOHOO! Canza watch out, your going to be afraid of the Dark!" Dark yelled with excitement on his face.

As Dark got on the trail he said hi to the professor, grabbed a map and followed the trail. He went on to route 1 and heard a lot of commotion, he quickly ran up but stayed stealthy by hiding in a bush. He heard

"Ready!" with a lot of enthusiasm.

Dark peeked through the bush and saw 2 trainers, one with a candle, and one with some weird beaver. "Kro-" "shhhhh" Dark told Shade. Dark pulled out his pokedex and shined it on the candle. Litwick the candle pokemon. He then switched it to the Beaver. Axew the Tusk pokemon. "Oh, an Axew and a Litwick… they are from..... Unova!" Dark said aloud. "oh god. I just shouted that!" Dark thought to himself. Dark grabbed Shade and ran off further into route 1 before the trainers saw him.

"ugh where even am I?" Dark said to Shade. "Krow." Murkrow said blankly. "I despise you Shade."
Dark pulled up his map and saw he was nearing the exit and getting closer to his first gym. As he was going he heard a faint buzz in the air. Dark froze right in his tracks, he knew that sound it was... it was... "BEEDRILL!" Dark screeched and ran off. A horde of Beedrills chassed after him in the woods. "Shade use wing attack!" "KRRRROW!" Murkrow slashed at one of the beedrills. The other Beedrills retreated. Dark pulled out a pokeball Ms. Poppy gave him in a care package for getting in. He threw it at the Beedrill and it shook once, twice, Captured! "We did it Shade!" "Krow!"

Drago stared intently at the bushes.
"Is someone there?" He stammered.
Axew ran towards the bushes out of curiosity.
"Hey, Axew wait up."

(OOC: hey Shaded_Survivor100 maybe you should slow down. Your time skipping and going way ahead of everyone else.)

Mike walked to Professor Poppy’s lab. If he was going to start an adventure he would need to first get a Pokédex and Pokéballs, and professors usually hand those out to starting trainers. Mike entered the lab, inside was the professor.
“Well hello,” said Professor Poppy “You must be a contender for the gym challenge. I am Professor Poppy, who might you be?” she asked.
“I’m Mike.” Mike replied.
“Well greetings Mike. Here, take these, you’ll need them for you gym challenge.”.
Professor Poppy handed Mike five Pokéballs and some sort of watch “That is a Can-bracelet, it is a Pokédex.”.
Mike took the Pokéballs and the Can-bracelet “Thanks.” Mike said, leaving the lab.

(OOC: Spinel I see your signs of worry I am going to fast, but I plan on staying in the route and training so at least some people are where I am, and plus the fast theme is meant to match up with Darks intentions of exploring the region. My plan is for him to check out many different types of forest pokemon. And I will slow him down by making him forget the gym leaders and he'll have to go back and train to beat them)

Dark studied his new pokemon, it looked in healthy condition. "Krow Krow Krow" Shade cawed. "Yeah, I wonder what other pokemon are found in this forest." Dark replied "Krow Krow?" "What? You see the exit?" Shade nodded no. "Then what'd you find?" "Krow!" Shade announced. "Oh you wanna head back to the beach. Why?" "Krow… Murkrow. Krow, Krow, Krow, Murkrow." "You saw a giant bird/toad abomination?" "Krow Krow KROW KROW Krow." Shade cawed. "A pink devil? You have to be making this up Shade" "Murkrow" Shade cawed sadly. "OK fine, at least we'l be out of this jungle forest." Dark replied. "Krow!" "Yes, yes. We'll ask around on how to get to the next town.." Dark grumbled. "Krow" Shade smugly cawed.

Litwick waddled out of the battlefield and went over to Axew with a worried look on its face.

As Mike and Surskit exited the lab, they saw two trainers and two Pokémon looking at a bush. Clearly they heard something from the bush.
“I wonder what that’s about.” Mike thought aloud.
Surskit also wonder what that was about. So Surskit snuck away quietly and went over by the two trainers and the two Pokémon.
