Clara's Dig collided with Houndoom, surprising and staggering the pokemon, but in the hellhound's enraged and augmented state it barely even acknowledged the little pokemon's attack... it seemed like the only thing it could focus on at the moment was destruction.
"This has gone on long enough: Mightyena, assume a defensive stance in front of Houndoom - Houndoom, you know what to do..."
The Dark-type hyena leapt over to Houndoom and began to use protect, creating a protective barrier around it. Houndoom began to focus intently, as if it were meditating, and the aura of purple flames surrounding it started to flicker and intensify. It was using Nasty Plot to raise its already unprecedented level of power...
Meanwhile, Micheal's 50 Zebstrikas posed a formidable threat with their Volt Switches, but Enisuss was one of Tempests most powerful admins, and his pokemon were of the highest quality the organization was capable of producing...
"I thought I made it clear to you, boy: sheer numbers aren't nearly enough to defeat me! Two can play at this silly game of yours... Zoroark, use Double Team as well!"
The illusion pokemon multiplied fifty-fold and met each of the Zebstrika's attacks head-on, slashing the Volt Switches out of the air with Night Slashes of their own...

Because of Ray's knocking, and now the sound of Anakin wreaking havoc inside of the server room, a huge hoard of Tempest grunts had accumulated outside the door.
"What are you doing? Open the door!" one of the grunts shouted at him.
"W-wait! I-I don't think we should... U-uhhh..." Ray had no idea what to do in this situation, and so he just stood there stuttering.
"What's wrong with you?" the grunt pushed him out of the way, and started to unlock the door herself.
Ray watched as the grunt fiddled with her keys in what felt like slow-motion. He looked around at the massive assemblage of grunts and powerful pokemon preparing to storm the room and gulped. He had a choice to make: he could either maintain his guise and preserve his own safety by standing idly by as the grunts captured, or even killed Azumi and Oliver; or he could stand up for them, and defend the room... For Ray, it was an easy decision to make.
He whipped out his pokemon and commenced his assault.
"Typhlosion, use Lava Plume! Dusknoir, Shadow Punch!"
Molten rock erupted from Typhlosion's mouth and rained down upon everyone in the hallway, including Ray and his own Pokemon. Corsola sat on Ray's shoulder and managed soften the self-inflicted damage somewhat with a Light Screen.
"HEY! WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS!?" the grunt who was unlocking the door was knocked away by Dusknoir before she could finish, and the immense mob that had gathered outside the door immediately turned their pokemon against Ray.
Dusknoir charged in and started socking people and pokemon left and right, all the while Typhlosion maintained the suicidal geyser of fire burning everyone present. Corsola leapt on and off of Ray's shoulder, deflecting incoming pokemon with Head Smash, but the move caused her significant recoil damage... Meanwhile, Ray was lashing out at grunts with his fists, and taking numerous blows in return. Is this how he was going to die? Well, it would be a redeeming death...
