"“Gah!” He cried out, stumbling back as Jodi came out of nowhere.”jeez.....you scared me.....” he said, but shook it off. He eyed some flowers from the corner of his eyes, and backed towards them slowly. “Hey...u-uh Jodi....i have something to tell y-you....”
“Um....that’s not it...i wanted to say....that...uh.....I...I really like you-“ “TEPIG!!!” Bacon yelled, slamming into Oliver. “Really....right when i was about to do it....” Ollie mumbled, sitting up.
“I LIKE YOU OK!!!!!” He yelled, his face turned red. “I....i really like you....a lot.....” He mumbled, as Bacon smiled. “Tepig.” (Mission accomplished).
"I-I-I......I don't know what to say....It's not because I think that was stupid,it's just that.......you remember how I said that you'll figure out why I'm mean to you...it's because....I-I-I....l-l-like....y-y-you...t-t-t-t-t-too......"Jodi managed to say through her mumbiling."Wait,you like me??!!After all I've said to you,you still liked me?WHAT??!!"
Ollie smiled and shrugged. “Well....i just knew it. Your the only person that ever was somewhat nice. Your the only one that makes me smile. You make me happy. And, even if we get on opposite sides one day, nothing will change my feeling for you ‘Di.” He said, his face becoming even more red.
Oliver covered his ears, hearing screaming. “Wow....i actually found someone....hehe....she really is perfect...” He mumbled, sending Bacon in his Pokeball. He decided to run back to the Pokemon center, running to the PokeMart. “Hey, i need a gift for my crush, so give me the thing you have for the best person in the world!” He exclaimed, setting all the money he had on the counter.
"T-thanks, Azumi" Ray responded with a weak smile. "I know we fight sometimes, but you're honestly kinder to me than I deserve..." He grabbed her extended hand and allowed her to pull him up from the chair. "Alright, let's get this thing over with" he said with determination.
The sun was beginning to set, and Ray reckoned that it'd be a good time to head to the Lost Hotel... He noticed Micheal Jodi and Ollie running around outside, deeply immersed is what looked like some kind of schoolyard drama...
"Now might be a good time to sneak off..." he said to Azumi. "I don't want to endanger Jodi and Oliver - and although he can handle himself well enough, Micheal's participation in this'd probably be disastrous..."

Azumi followed Ray outside and told him, "I think it's worse if we don't tell them anything. I'll go talk to them, you get ready." She patted him on the back and walked over to the rest.
"Hey everyone. We are getting ready to go. I'm going to fully explain the situation and the plan. Please, for just this one time..." She looked over at Michael while saying this, "Just please stick to the plan and don't rush into anything." She then took a deep breath and began explaining everything.
"Ray is going to try and meet up with some members of team rocket. Now in order to avoid them being suspicious or attacking us... Only me and Ray are going to walk in. However, it doesn't mean you aren't going. In case something bad happens inside, we need you outside, hiding, and ready to attack if necessary. This doesn't mean that you should just burst in whenever you want. We need time to convince them to attack tempest. It's not something simple nor is it a game."
She took a deep breath and looked at everyone, "Can I count with your cooperation?"

Oliver walked out with a box, seeing them talking as he heard Azumi. "I wanna go! I wanna help!" He said excitedly. He didn't want to miss out on anything.
Michael glared at Azumi as she walked towards them.He almost started to laugh when he heard her plan."Pfffft,.Look,Money Hive,do you seriously think that you could convince them into helping us?They won't care about your so called "manners",and Ray will start to get angry,which won't help either!"
"That's true...if you don't have something to repay them with,they'll either refuse or...they'll want something impossible to obtain...."Jodi said not looking directly at Azumi's face.

Azumi sighed frustrated, "You completely ignored most of what I told you. I never said you were not capable of doing it, I'm asking you to watch our bag." Azumi placed her hand on her forehead, "There is no boss in there, just some grunts Ray is going to talk to, so they can spread the word. Also, hypnotizing people to control them? Michael that is illegal and extremely dangerous. It can cause serious brain damage. It's one thing to put them to sleep, but do not attempt to control them."

Oliver shrugged. "Just some supplies. I was gonna head a nearby park where Pokemon live to catch some, and I wanna be prepared." He said. " Oh, also, here! There was a collection of plushies on sale at the Pokemart, I thought you might like it! " He exclaimed, opening the box and pulling out a stuffed Flareon. "When we were at the center, you said you wanted a fire type on your team. Well, I found a plush based off a Fire type, so I thought you might like it! It's okay if you don't though, I can always return it." He said, giving it to her. "Anyway, I'm gonna get going to the park. You can come if you want." He sent Shadow out, patting his head.

Oliver smiled. "A battle? You asked for it! I may be a baby to you in real life, but in battle, I'm a war machine." He said, laughing. " we can both use two Pokemon. I'm using Shadow and Sheldon! " He said, sending Sheldon out. "Anyway, let's go!" He said, walking. " is this....like a date? Oh jeez....I better not screw this up.... " He thought, while Sheldon climbing onto his head. "Sqirt-Squirt? Squirtle Squirr-Tal?" ( why so nervous? Afraid to mess things up ?) His Pokemon asked, as Shadow smirked. "Umber-Bre. Umberon-On." ( it's a human thing. You will understand when you evolve.) The evolved Pokemon said, as Sheldon giggled.
"Hey! No fair! I have to carry Sheldon!" He yelled, as Shadow jumped up on him also. " GAH! I'M UNDER ATTACK! " He yelled, as his Pokemon got off with a giggle. He ran over, grumbling under his breath. "Ok! Let's do this!"
"I say we spice it up,into a DOUBLE BATTLE!!"Jodi said with fire in her eyes."Go,guys!"The PokeBalls reveald Dragonair and....Tropius."Get ready!Dragonair,Dragon Pulse on Shadow!Tropius,it's been a long time,but you can do it!Energy Ball on Sheldon!"The two Pokemon let out extremely powerful attacks,since they've been raised by Jodi's brother,Sam.
"Sheldon, Protect! Shadow, block it with Shadow Ball!" Ollie yelled out, as Sheldon went in its shell. Shadow shot a Shadow Ball at the Dragon Pulse, as it collided with the attack with an explosion.
"Sheldon, use Hydro Pump on Shadow!" Oliver cried out. Sheldon did this, not only pushing himself out of the way of an attack, but knocking his Dark Type out of the way also.
"Part of me's glad that they're staying behind..." said Ray. "But on the other hand, some backup'd be nice, just in case... Well, I guess that just gives us more of an incentive not to fail..." He got on top of Typhlosion and dramatically pointed off into the distance, doing his best impression of a military captain:
"Awake, warriors; and follow me to glory! Awaaayyy!" he shouted before riding off at an anticlimactically slow pace so that Azumi could still keep up...

Arcanine took off after typhlosion, managing to match it and run side by side. Azumi held on, trying to avoid from moving much to keep the pain in the ribs down. After an hour of riding they finally reached their destiny.
Azumi dismounted her Pokemon and returned him to his pokeball. There were a lot of shady people standing around. "That was a horrible captain expression." Azumi told Ray while letting out a small laugh. She began walking towards the ruined building when she noticed that a lot of the people standing around had shifted their attention to her. Azumi shivered as she noticed this. She had never been in front of so many thugs, punks and bikers before. She walked back to Ray and placed her arm around his. "You are now hired as my bodyguard. Escort me."
Azumi dismounted her Pokemon and returned him to his pokeball. There were a lot of shady people standing around. "That was a horrible captain expression." "Is this a paid position?" Ray joked, as he led Azumi deeper into the ruins. "Try not to look so... stiff... You stand out enough as it is..." He could feel numerous eyes on them, but thankfully Typhlosion's imposing frame and menacing expression was enough to keep potential assailants at bay. It brought back memories of when Ray was just a kid, and his larger-than-average starter pokemon was the the only thing that could get people to take him seriously in places like this...
"Just stay quiet for now..." he whispered to Azumi before walking over to a lone biker smoking a cigarette.
"I'm looking for rainbow rocket" Ray stated bluntly.
"Yeah? and I'm lookin' for a new pack of smokes... but unless you got some looks like we're both shit outta luck, eh?"
Typhlosion growled and loomed over the man in an attempt to intimidate him...
"Ha" the man scoffed, returning to his cigarette. "Try me. You'll regret it..." Ray sighed. He knew it wouldn't be easy getting information from these people... He reached for Mistreavus's pokeball and sent it out.
"You serious? You really wanna - Wait, what the hell's wrong with that thing!?" At the sight of the cybernetic creature before him, the biker dropped his cigarette and took a few steps back.
"Tell me where the hell I can find rainbow rocket!" Ray shouted aggressively. "I'm not fooling around here!"
"Jesus, calm down... I don't know anything about 'em, honest..." the man backed up a bit further. At this point, pretty much everyone nearby had eyes on situation... Ray realized this, and recalled his pokemon. He didn't mean to cause a scene.
"Well, then tell me who does know something" he instructed the biker. But before the man could respond, Ray was violently spun around by another, especially large and imposing, man.
"You lookin' for rainbow rocket, kid? Well, y'found 'em!" the large man sneered before socking Ray square in the jaw, sending him flying to the ground.
"I don't appreciate Tempest trash comin' 'round these parts..." the man said as he sent out a Machamp to restrain Ray's enraged Typhlosion. "I want you and your filthy experiments outta here..." Several other thugs nearby caught on to the situation, and sent out pokemon of their own... They were making their way towards Ray in a threatening manner...
"Shit, that didn't go very well..." Ray was unable to get back onto his feet due to his leg, and so the best he could do was send out Dusknoir from the ground and attempt to defend himself...
"Alright Dusknoir, it's been a while since we've been in a fight like this - use Shadow punch on that Machamp!"

Azumi admired how powerful and confident Ray acted before these people. She had held tight to him until they reached the biker. She was impressed by his way of talking until she saw misdreavus. She was horrified by the way it looked and acted.
Azumi's thoughts were locked on misdreavus, until Ray was punched. When she saw the big man punch him down and Ray on the floor, something inside her snapped. "Edward!" She yelled as the giant T-Rex Pokemon emerged from his pokeball with an enourmen roar.
Azumi and the giant Pokemon glared at everyone looking at them, "How about you all shut up and listen." She then pointed up at her Pokemon, "Or Edward here will make sure to keep you quiet."

Dusknoir's fist connected with the Machamp's face, freeing up Typhlosion to smack the large man out of the way, but this only seemed to egg the rest of the thugs on...
"Heh, so the lady wants a fight, huh?" one of them remarked at the sight of Azumi's Tyrantrum. "Fine by me!"
"No, Azumi! Get out of here!" Ray shouted at her from the floor.
In an instant the crumbling hotel lobby was filled with countless pokemon of countless thugs, all wanting a piece of the action... Ray had flashbacks to the battle outside the server room back in Lumiose city; things were looking just as hopeless as they were then, if not more so...
But before they could be torn apart by legions of criminals, Ray heard a familiar voice ring out across the clamour of the crowd...
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" the powerful voice resonated throughout the lobby, and the room fell silent. The sea of thugs parted to make way for a mysterious figure heading toward Ray and Azumi. When Ray caught a glimpse of the figure's face he almost passed out; he was overcome by so many emotions he was shaking...
The man paused before Ray and Azumi and crossed his arms.
"It's been a while, baby bro... Now tell me: what the hell are you doing here?" he asked calmly.
Ray couldn't manage much in the way of words...
"I-I-I t-thought you were dead!" he blurted out with teary eyes.
Ray's brother responded with nothing more than a sad smile. He then turned to Azumi:
"And who's this you've brought with you? I can tell she's rich just by looking at her; what, did you kidnap her or something?" he teased. Ray was too busy wiping away tears to bother rebutting...
"Well, why don't you two come with me for now, and we can discuss whatever it is that you'd like to discuss in private; although I already have a suspicion as to what it may be..."
The man turned around and walked deeper into the hotel. The sea of thugs once again parted to make way for him, and subsequently dispersed as people returned to what they were doing before the fight broke out. Ray remained on the floor, unable to get up physically, or emotionally...

"Oooookay!It's on!"Jodi said determined as ever."Dragonair use Rain Dance,than Thunder on both Sheldon and Shadow!Tropius,use Leech Seed to restrain them!"Dragonair made a heavy rain appear,while Tropius' Leech Seed managed to keep the two enemies still.And since Thunder can't miss during Rain,Oliver's Pokemon couldn't dodge."It's good that Sam thought me this technique,and that the criminal Zak was fighting used it,or I wouldn't have ever remembered it."She thought with a smirk.
Azumi returned her giant Pokemon back into it's pokeball, "All of you got lucky." She said teasing. Azumi looked down at Ray, who seemed to be in a state of shock. "So..." She began as she looked in the direction the man before had disappeared to, "Wow. He really does look like you." Her mind was lost as to what she could say to get Ray back to his senses, "I can only imagine what you are going through right now."
She then helped Ray to his feet by placing his arm over her shoulders and then began walking with him slowly towards the direction they were instructed. "I gotta say I'm a little offended that he would think YOU were capable of kidnapping me." She looked at Ray's face trying to get a result, but nothing. "Maybe you need some rest."
They reached a door where Ray's brother had gone into. Azumi slowly opened it. It seemed to be the hotel suite, or what was left of it. Some of the furniture still remain, but it was worn out. At the end of the room the man was standing there waiting for them. Azumi sat Ray down on a nearby couch and directed herself to his brother, "Well, here we are. Introduce yourself." Azumi told him while crossing her arms over her chest and tapping her right foot repeatedly.

"I gotta say I'm a little offended that he would think YOU were capable of kidnapping me." She looked at Ray's face trying to get a result, but nothing. "Maybe you need some rest."
They reached a door where Ray's brother had gone into. Azumi slowly opened it. It seemed to be the hotel suite, or what was left of it. Some of the furniture still remain, but it was worn out. At the end of the room the man was standing there waiting for them. Azumi sat Ray down on a nearby couch and directed herself to his brother, "Well, here we are. Introduce yourself." Azumi told him while crossing her arms over her chest and tapping her right foot repeatedly.

Purrlion (Antonio) Level: 3 Moveset: Scratch, Growl, Copycat (egg move) Ability: Unburden Nature: Naughty (+Attack -Sp. Defense) Quick Description: Antonio is, well, normal to the point that he is an odd golden color (if that is fine with everyone) because a crack in his egg caused him to develop oddly. Alex found his egg abandoned in the woods an since then they are tight as heck. But since Alex isn't exactly a trainer....she wasn't able to defend herself and Antonio, despite how hard they fought.
Alex woke up, a cold sweat lingering on her. A grey, yet oddly comforting cell surrounded her. She looked around. Antonio wasn't with her! Where was he? She flustered for a moment, then, realizing that the door could be easily opened, pressed the button and rushed out of it. A scientist then quickly explained the situation, then the Purrlion, who was with the scientist the whole time, leapt back onto her shoulder. She sighed with relief, then wondered: where was everyone else?

Oliver covered his eyes as his Pokemon both fainted, as his mouth opened in shock. "Woah....that's was.....awesome! Your SOOO cool! I could have never thought of something like that!" He yelled, amazed at how the fight ended.
Ray's brother laughed at Azumi's apparent impatientness.
"Wow, is that the tone you normally use with crimelords?" he remarked. "I couldn't see that going over well in most cases... But not to worry; I'm not about to kill my brother's girlfriend over something petty like that!" He look over at Ray as he said this. The man was obviously trying to get a rise out of him, but Ray just continued to stare despondently at the floor...
"Hm. I'll talk to him later..." Ray's brother said to himself, now in a softer tone, before returning to Azumi.
"My name's Levan. And you are?"
"Wow, is that the tone you normally use with crimelords?" he remarked. "I couldn't see that going over well in most cases... But not to worry; I'm not about to kill my brother's girlfriend over something petty like that!" He look over at Ray as he said this. The man was obviously trying to get a rise out of him, but Ray just continued to stare despondently at the floor...

Random fun fact(s): Eisenblatt seems to be German, born in a strange small region too small to be considered a proper region yet. He also seems to be emotionless, but his Pokémon are well taken care of and loved for dearly, as while he may preform the occasional experiment on them, he loves them deeply and is devoted to their safety. He is also deeply concerned with the evil team who's soul intent is apparently to cause inhumane suffering, in his opinion.
Random character traits: On the outside, he may seem cold, emotionless, edgy, and rude, treating Humans with cold untrust and shyness, and treating Pokémon with mild kindness, with some fear of hurting them, but once one gets to know him, his true self opens up and he turns out to be a kind-hearted and trusting lad, who cares deeply for all Pokémon, and has a soft spot for humans. To those who befriend him, he will do everything it takes to protect them. He also has a love for doing research, and strives to unlock the mysteries surrounding pokemon and their powers, and even their DNA. However, for a little twist, if you meet him while he is not relaxed and in a casual state, his serious nature will cause him to be military like, but his above traits stand.

In the skies, a strange sound is heard as a swellow is seen in the sky, screeching loudly as it appeared to be mounted by a trainer, who's identity is unknown due to being so far up in the sky. As she lowered her decent however, it is apparent that the Trainer is male, and seemed to be a cross between a scientist and a trainer, who was the one and only Eisenblatt, famous in his home region of Stalblatt, from where he gets his nickname, and well known in Hoenn, where his team comes from. He patted the back of his bird, who dives down towards the ground of the city of Laverre, hopping off his bird with much care to avoid her injury as soon as he reached close enough to the ground to avoid injury. However, he seems to be slightly beaten and easily tired, as he had just escaped from the evil doers who captured him to enlist his aid in forcing cybernetic augments on poor undeserving Pokémon, and escaped immediately with his original 6 as soon as he realized the inhumane nature of their experiments. He landed on the ground with a wince of pain, his Pokémon landing beside him, as he tried to catch his breath. His outfit was odd, appearing to be a travelling outfit mixed with a scientist's coat, and seemed to be very techy and futuristic, matching the visor he wore. He sighed softly, and waved at the nearby trainers, and gave a shy look of fear, but also anticipation...

Azumi eased a little, she stopped tapping her foot and was thrown off guard with the comments Levan had made. "Girlfriend? He hasn't had the guts to ask me out yet." She responded. She then looked at the man standing in front of her, capturing the details of his image, "I have to say, you look nothing like a crimelord." She streched her hand out, "My name is Azumi Towers."
