A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.
Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Name: Rex Raptor, C, The Contessa.
Location: Warzone
“Well...” Rex scratched his head. “Not as successful as I’ve been hoping.”
“What do you mean by that comrade?”
“Well y’a see, she keeps focusing on ‘the task at hand’.” Rex remarked with his fingers making air quotes. “She was too focused on fighting that metal guy than me. Add a stupid caveman on top of it all and you got a disaster sandwich.”
“I’m going to pretend I understood half of that.” C scratched his head. “Do what I do. When I see a beautiful woman with eyes colder than Russian winter, I offer them a drink.”
“Yeah? A drink?” Rex pondered it. “You really think she’d Like that?”
“Works every time, believe me-“
“I am Madam Contessa, Police Commander of Interpol.” The Contessa’s voice spoke, interrupting the conversation. “I am here to ask those present a series of questions, for you see, we had a sting operation in progress, and you all but ruined that. So, as compensation, we require information from those of you responsible for compromising it, no fee or jail time required.”
Scanning for nearby people, The Contessa peered over at Jamie.
The corpse had become nothing more than bits and pieces of flesh attached to a skeleton, even some of the bones were broken in half with the top of the skull crushed in. She enjoyed the feast as it healed her body somewhat to a point, bleeding out less as her blood tried to clot the wounds. The werewolf watched as most of the remaining soldiers began to retreat while only a very small few remained to fight. She had no intention to eat any further, but that would not stop her from having her own fun. The werewolf abandoned the bloody corpse as she made her way to a couple remaining soldiers, breaking into a run once they saw her and started running away in fear.
As she chased after the soldiers, the backpack belonging to Shaynuh had remained where it was, untouched and left alone. No one had taken notice of its presence so far. The werewolf herself had yet to notice it, which would most likely not happen anytime soon unless she transformed back. For now, it would remain in its current location with the cards and knife still safely tucked away inside.
Camelot Castle, Throne Room
Sonic shrugged. "Talon, Macy, cool. New visitors. You got transported here from your own world, as I'm sure you've figured out, and Camelot is offering shelter to the displaced. We've got a refugee camp down on the bottom level."
"My lord..." Percival said from just outside.
Sonic groaned. "Yeah, sure, bring them in..."
Percival opened the doors, allowing Bro and Kiran to enter. "Pay respect to the King. His sword is fed up enough." Percival whispered as precaution.
Camelot Castle, Serena's Room
"Well... I travel." Serena chuckled. "I improve the bonds with my Pokemon, and we grow stronger together. That's simple enough, right? I just want to be a good entertainer and bring people joy. It's why I enter the Pokemon Contests."
Camelot Castle, Front Gates
The two guards at the gates looked at each other before opening the gate wide enough for Belowski and Vader to pass through.
Camelot Castle Town
"Z?" Gawain questioned. "I'm afraid I haven't heard of anyone by that name... what's he like?"
"He's an android- er, a robot with silver armor, black hair and clothing and shining green eyes. The green light itself is unmistakable." Tony said.
Gawain pondered. "Sorry, can't say I recognize him or heard anything about him. If you wanted to be certain, though, you could ask Merlina."
"Merlina?" Tony wondered.
"Yeah, Merlina, the Royal Wizard!" Gawain said. "Granddaughter of Merlin."
"This is new..." Tony said, looking over to Snake for confirmation.
Camelot, Mountain
When the woman appeared before them, Jin and Lucina instantly drew their blades, wary. Robin and Lora entered battle stances as well.
"You mean you two are enemies?" Lora asked Sarah.
"We could be walking into a trap." Jin said.
"...we might need to trust her, though. She could be a valuable ally if she's willing to talk." Robin said, thinking back to Tharja among others.
Specter's Ship
Cut Man looked around. Hiro was doing fine, tri-hat was safe with him, and green-armor...
Was shooting at them now.
"The hell?!" he demanded, swerving Item 2 up. "Hey, tri-hat! What happened to my brother?! And why's green-armor firing at us?!"
He quickly swerved Item 2 to the right in order to veer the two of them clear of the explosion.
Unbeknownst to Cut Man, however, his left arm was beginning to spark...
Warzone
Keda had several questions.
First, what was a police force? He had no clue.
Second, why was there a spider woman?
Third, why was Rex talking to the enemy?
Fourth, and at the forefront of his mind...
WAS THIS THE ENEMY?
Keda took a look around at the signs. They were definitely Soviets. They had the tank, the armor and the accent.
So why weren't they attacking?
Keda notched another arrow, ready for danger. "Whatever your game is..."
Keda didn't get a chance to finish his sentence. With a clatter, several glowing shards flew up from the sewers.
Keda recognized them.
Quickly whistling Alpha to his side, he moved to Erza's side, taking out his spear. He attempted to hit it away with the end of his spear.
That didn't work.
A vortex opened, causing Keda, Erza, Jamie and the just-nearby Rex to vanish. The barely-out-of-range C was left alone.
That is, until another crystal flew down towards the Contessa.
Across the battlefield, more crystals rained down. One suddenly dropped on the Nomad's hat, causing him to vanish, as well as Raven, Angel Dust and Star Butterfly. Two more crystals warped Danny Phantom and Twilight Sparkle to a distant world, another pulled Dipper Pines away, and two grabbed the fragmented Class 1-A. Link and Ash were also grabbed close to each other, with Kaleb and Meta Knight pulled away as well. Akame and Shaynuh vanished with the rest.
Michael looked around in shock. The heroes that had helped them win the fight had vanished as soon as they had arrived.
Now, the NAC had full control, but there was a lot of damage control to do.
Goldenwalk Business District
Scorpio looked at Cecil through a sidewards glance. "Goldenwalk is now a convergence point, and I'd rather not have you killed just yet." he said. "Unlike my fellows, I can tell when someone's still useful. And you, Cecil... you have much potential."
"Also, it's a good field test of my plastic scorpions." Scorpio snapped his fingers, and the scorpions gathered around him.
"Keep an eye out for the ones named Nathan McAllen and Gwen Stacy. This is hardly their first convergence."
The Wilds, The Cliff
Suddenly, Keda fell to his knees. Letting out a gasp of air, he glanced around, slowly getting to his feet.
Looking around, he saw he wasn't alone. Erza was with him. Good, his friend was still with him.
Alpha was there, of course. He didn't know what he would do without her.
Then there was Rex. Of course he was here with him.
And finally, that strange transforming person.
They were all scattered around the beige rocky surface-
Wait, beige?
Keda rose to his feet, looking back and forth.
He...
He recognized this place.
This was the Cliff.
The Cliff where he had...
Searching, Keda soon noticed a pile of painted rocks. He ran over to them, looking at them.
Unlike the others, he knew how to read them. Keda, my son. I know you are still alive. You have a knack for surviving strange situations. We await you at home, my son.
Keda smiled, falling to his knees with a happy chuckle.
"Father. You won't be waiting for long."
The Wilds, The Tundra
Suddenly, the Nomad was blown over by a powerful gust of wind. Falling onto his rear, he squinted. Raven and Star were still with him... and over the horizon, he could barely see a few others. It looked like the Cartoon Rescue Club was all together.
Then he heard a crash.
Looking behind him, the Nomad saw a small, old, rickety house with what seemed to be a strange pony-shaped hole in the roof.
In a sudden flash of light, Contessa’s grilling of Jamie and everyone else was brought to an abrupt end. Instead she on the top of her tank were teleported into the air, high above a glistening sea and a lone ship that appeared to belong in the resonance era. Air. They were in the air.
They quickly began falling down from the sky, the Tank heading straight for the ocean below. The soldiers were flung off immediately and were scattered in the sky. The Contessa, firmly on the tank’s hull seemed shocked at what had just happened.
“A dimensional rift? Without my activation? What type of sorcery...”
She knew she couldn’t salvage the tank from the plummet, but perhaps she could save her minions. She wove a web of ideas that turned into a solid plan. She shot out a stream of webbing, the stream hitting C. She sent him like a whip, coiling around the others, all of them attaching to the webbing. She lacked the sheer strength to lift them all, but perhaps momentum could do the trick...
She severed the webbing, gripping it in her claw as she sent another stream of web toward the mast of the ship. With that, she swung, the momentum of the swing being enough to propel her and her lackeys down towards the ship and away from the falling tank. As soon as they had fled the tank, it crashed into the sparkling waters. The Contessa, dangling like a black window by the thread attached to the ship let go of her crew, as they fell to the top deck of the ship, shaken but unharmed. Short after, she landed as well, all six legs of hers hitting the ground, her demeanor back to her Countess stance.
“We might have lost a tank, but we still have manpower.” The Contessa muttered. “Speaking of that, where is the manpower of this seaworthy vessel?”
........ Name: Rex Raptor
Location: The Wilds, The Cliff
“Yeah I-“
Rex’s conversation was cut off as suddenly he were teleported along with Erza and Keda. The face of C quickly shifted to a face of a wild Bison. The bison snorted in front of Rex, bewildered and immediately in a defensive mode due to the Dino enthusiast’s sudden appearance.
“...oh crud...”
The Bison swung it’s horns at Rex, who just managed to duck under them. That didn’t stop the Bison from sprinting at him and trampeling the poor guy. Rex held his head as for it not to get stepped on, just to realize the Bison had fled away, leaving Rex more tense than he was injured.
Maxwell’sMinions
TrueLab
Maxwell’s hellhound suddenly bolted over to the tiger, who was still locked into a cage of crystals. It appeared to be thrashing around inside, possibly having run out of oxygen, judging from the fact that it was heavily panting and trying to bust out with sudden energy.
The hellhound reached the crystals. It raised one leg, and raked its claws against the crystal. It took a few seconds before the substance shattered, creating a gap wide enough for the animal to climb out.
As the wolf and tiger regrouped, the hellhound slowly walked towards the Cyclops, who was struggling with Jet on his back and Blaze punching rapidly.
All three of the beast’s heads suddenly made a coughing sound, before beginning to spout three columns of flames at the cyclops and its two foes. The hellhound appeared to be aware of the cyclops’s immunity to fire…
By now, the tiger appeared to have recovered from the traumatic event, and set its sights on the person who’d trapped it.
Jet.
Frisk
Before Maxwell had a chance to reply to her conversation starter, the sound of metal bending caused her to turn. Silver had busted through the wall, and immediately began launching a wave of psychic energy at the new arrival.
Before the wave had a chance to hit, a perfect shield of pure Determination appeared, absorbing and negating the attack.
Frisk had dealt with a lot of people like Silver before. Intentions? Good. But he didn’t know what this was really about. He thought this was about fighting- when really, it was about sparing.
*You promise Silver that you can handle Maxwell.
*You ask him to go back and help the others SPARE the enemies.
*You tell him to stay Determined.
Maxwell
Just as quickly as the girl blocked his attack, Maxwell heard her begin talking to him about… striped shirts? Seriously? He grunted, frustrated his attack hadn’t worked, but now it appeared he had another issue. One of her hopeless allies had managed to break through the wall. And not only that, but he was the one with the psychic abilities. Fabulous.
Before he could counterattack, the psychic wave was blocked by a shield of red, similar to the one that’d blocked his spike. The girl told her ally that she could handle it…
What a bother. Of course, Maxwell didn’t mind making a few more creatures to keep that guy busy. In the long run, everything would be worth it. Especially since now, he knew that the girl had special powers. How else had she created those magical shields?
Holding his hands out, Maxwell began to cause several iron panels fly away from the walls and ceiling, melting down before reaching him, and compiling into… what appeared to be a metal humanoid figure, and then two more quickly formed by its side.
All three of the metal humanoids were soon proven to be sentient, as they began to move around with hand motions from Maxwell. And all of them seemed to quickly realize their goal- getting rid of Silver.
Nanashi
Forest
“Tame is a loose term,” Nanashi replied to Azula. “See, demons are very rarely bound to their word. If one says they’ll join you, there’s always a risk that they simply want to steal from you, kill you, or betray you down the line. You can’t get a demon’s eternal loyalty, but you can befriend them… sometimes. Rather than taming, it’s more so… a matter of convincing them to help you out.”
He glanced over at a spot on the grass. He could sense a presence, but passed it off as paranoia. Hell, everything in this area was putting him on edge. Maybe that was common when being introduced to unfamiliar place?
“If you’d like to meet her, I could introduce you to one of my less violent demons,” Nanashi offered. Surely, Suparna would have returned by now…
He glanced, and sure enough, the bird-like demon was once again listed on his roster.
CalamityGanon
ASeanearCamelot
Calamity Ganon continued to charge, nearing the forest of Camelot- of course, the beast didn’t see it as that. He saw it as an opportunity for mayhem and destruction. He began to charge toward the treeline, energy platforms ceasing to form under his feet as he came upon the dry land, knocking over a few trees as he charged.
Then, the scent of a living creature hit his nose, and Calamity roared in… happiness? Maybe satisfaction as the thought of ending life formed in his mind.
The beast charged, planting its tusks into the ground and tearing up the terrain slightly as it neared its target, soon revealed to be a small, goofy looking creature that looked kind of like… a silly playing card mascot?
Regardless, Calamity rushed in at high speed, literally inhaling Lancer. Luckily for the latter, Calamity didn’t bite down, instead swallowing him whole. Lancer was sucked into Calamity Ganon’s esophagus, which didn’t instantly kill him.
Immediately, Ganon’s mind was at ease… until his nose picked up a new scent. The scent of life. Mindlessly, the massive boar began to charge again- but not towards Camelot Castle…
Noah
CamelotDungeon
“You’ll wait here until your trial,” one of the knights told Noah as the teal-haired boy was introduced to a spacious cell- but the extra space wasn’t exactly great, since the cell was pretty much empty.
“You’ll pay for this,” Noah stated, standing in the center of the cell. “Once I figure out how this new level works, I’ll erase you!”
Predictably, the knight assumed him to be talking nonsense. Noah wouldn’t expect game characters to know they were in a game, anyways, but it was always worth a shot, on the off chance Gozaburo had screwed the code up.
The sound of the cell door locking could be heard, before the Knight walked away.
Star-Lord
Mansion
Peter was well aware of what this place was- or at least, he thought he knew. It genuinely just seemed like an abandoned mansion, and if it was abandoned… well, in all honestly, he could deal with the layers of dust and groups of overgrown vines. Maybe he could claim this mansion for himself? The Quill mansion. He and his friends could use it as an outpost or something.
But that was all assuming he was lucky enough to actually survive on… well, whatever this planet was. He stumbled over to one of the multiple doors in the mansion, opening it to reveal a dark hallway. At the end of the hall, he could see the faint outline of another door…
He began to walk down the hall, hand on his weapon, but when he reached about the halfway point, he had the eeriest feeling… like someone was behind him.
Suddenly panicking, he tried to grab his weapon, but hit play on his Zune, and pop music filled the hallway. He stumbled, having not expected the sudden loud noise. He bumped into a previously unseen table, knocking over a vase that had sat on top of it. The vase hit the ground, shattering.
“Ohhh, no, that isn’t good,” Peter said. That vase looked expensive.
Flowey
Chara was... scaring him to say the least, but she couldn't know that "Lets get this over with, right, parnter?" He couldn't say no, or try to escape, he was confined to the pot he was put in, so he just had to follow along.
Eldiocorc
He appeared through the portal, right behind Cecil and Scorpio, as he pulled down his hood, he shifted back to his original size, "How does it feel basking in the glory of two of the four horsemen of Zeliyis? Anyway, sorry to keep you two waiting, I had some business to attend to." He looked behind him, at the portal. Before looking back, he waited, the exact moment Chara and Flowey walled through, he began speaking again "Chara Dreemurr, and Asriel Dreemurr, or as he's known now, Flowey. They're here to help us with our 'infestation', now, is there an estimated time the portal is said to be up? I can help defend it if necessary."
Lancer
As Calamity Gannon charged towards Lancer, he let out a girly shriek "NO DON'T VORE ME! SUSIE HELP!" He tried to run, but failed to even turn around before getting swallowed.
Susie
She turned around, seeing Lancer get eaten, she began sprinting in the other direction "LANCER! I'M SORRY!" She ran as fast as she could, eventually running into the forest, dashing into a hole in a rather thick tree, its roots sticking out of the ground.
AD
He had disappeared like before, yet he landed in a snowy tundra, face first. The others had landed near him, yet this didn't matter, what mattered was finding where to get some warmth. He got up, and saw a light source, it looked like a cottage of sorts. "Guys! Get up!" He tried to get the others up, yet, if they didn't get up, he'd just go towards the cottage himself.
Jamie
He quickly changed back to his catgirl form before attempting to walk over to Contessa... yet he disappeared before he could say a word, tumbling down into an unknown world.
Goblin Slayer
"Well, I carry almost anything of use, swords, daggers, even hair I al-" he was cut off by the new appearance. In response to their question, they turned around "Don't ask me, I... WE have no idea, at all." He slowly reached for a sword, ready to attack.
Dex wanted to talk back at Bakugo for seeming to not care about Midoriya. It was clear, even from the little time he was enrolled at UA, that they were rivals. Intense rivals, at that.
From what he had heard, Deku was usually afraid of Bakugo for some time. Since their first year had started. Bakugo would scream, and Midoriya would back away. Until that one night.
The others had told him. One night, Bakugo told Midoriya to meet him outside. They went down to the training field where, surprisingly...
the two of them traded blows. They used their Quirks, pushing them as far as they could go. Lightning. Explosions. As if it were actually two superheroes clashing. All Might showed up just as it was finishing.
Since then, they were proper opponents. Midoriya wasn't scared of him anymore. What went down that night, Dex didn't know.
All he knew was that it had to be important.
So he still questioned why Bakugo would make comments about Midoriya like that.
But at the same time, he was right. He should go back and check on his classmate. Then cries came from around him.
"RETREAT!!!"
"RUN!!!"
"FALL BACK!"
Dex, Iida, and Todoroki turned, to find that the Soviets were turning tail and booking it away from the fight.
They had won.
Dexon smiled, forgetting about the fight.
"I should let Midoriya and Uraraka know," Todoroki remarked. "I closed them in so they would remain protected--"
Then they climbed out.
"Hey guys," Uraraka remarked. Dex noticed something new on their faces; like they were more in sync with each other now. "W-that's happening?"
"We won, that's what's happening."
About to start talking, more portals opened. Midoriya looked up.
"What the--"
Then one opened near them.
Todoroki was the first to be caught in the vacuum. Iida grabbed his hand, attempting to run the other way. Uraraka grabbed Iida, Midoriya grabbed Uraraka, but it still wasn't enough.
Dex finally acted. He drew his sword, implanting it into the ground. He firmly grasped it, along with Midoriya's hand. It worked before, right?
He still couldn't get out by himself. He looked around for more faces.
"Star--" She was gone.
"Finn! Ja--" Vanished.
"Dammit... Nomad?" More like nada.
"Ash, Li--" Finally, the two kids were swallowed up.
Finally, Midoriya found the last familiar face.
"Kacchan! Over here!"
Dex, about to call for help, attempted to pull himself closer to Bakugo.
Finally...
His sword broke.
The chain of heroes in training went into shock and disbelief as the blade was disrupted by the chaos. The entire mechanism that powered the sword was destroyed by the force.
With nowhere else to go, the five of them plummeted down through the vortex. Deku tried to get one last word in before his face was encapsulated.
"KACCHA--"
Then they were gone.
True Lab
Jet was just about to get off of his opponent when he heard something behind him.
Growling.
"What the--" he thought, turning, only to face a volley of flames.
Surprised, he was sent off of the cyclops' back, landing on the floor.
"Damn it... how am I supposed to--"
Quickly getting an idea, he climbed up,holding his hands in front of his face in a "Wakanda Forever" stance.
Small minerals formed on his armor as he was engulfed by the flames.
Working fast, he had just enough time to protect himself before he was swallowed whole by the incoming firestorm, consuming much of the elemental power he had left.
The flames softened the fire-proof minerals, giving him a better chance to use them to his advantage. He bent them, causing them to form around his body.
Eventually, for what seemed like forever, the flames died down.
Where there was once a kid in armor, stood now a glowing statue.
The "statue" lowered its arms, bathed in an intense glowing light that calmed down a little as the hellfire subsided.
His legs were covered in intricate plates, strung together to create heavy boots. They curled up a little with a solid angle, with plates across the front and sides of his legs, on the top of his feet, and smaller ones on the sides of his thighs.
His arms were covered with the same type of armor--bulky, and shimmering like they just came out of the forge, but still designed ready-for combat. The shoulders were covered with large--but not too large--pauldrons, shining like the sunset.
Across his torso was a large chest plate that gave him some more bulk; made of several plates with a large ring on the back to hold his weapons, which had migrated there.
The sword had grown, matching his armor. It had a large, one-sided blade, that was wide and curved. It was shaped like a saber, but far too wide to be a saber. The guard was now long to match the blade, and had small crystals across it.
The shield had changed again from a riot shield to a sharp-looking plate that was similar to an orc shield from a fantasy movie.
The armor itself was made of a glimmering opaque crystal that was a dark gunmetal in color.
Around Jet's head was a helmet of the same material, with a yellow one-way visor. It had a crown across the front with three prongs, and shimmered a bright teal crystal.
His hands had claws now, though they weren't too extreme.
*You equipped the Forgebreaker.
*Your ATTACK and DEFENSE rose. Your SPEED decreased... a little. You can manipulate the armor to move with you, though it takes a lot of focus.
*You think it has a nice name, and you silently praise yourself for coming up with it.
Jet's hand shot to the Cyclops, stammering from their assaults. He grasped its head, before slamming the large monster down onto the steel floor.
He held its body down for a mew moments, gazing at the large dent he had made in the floor. Miraculously, it was still alive.
"Tch," he said, looking up at the hellhound and the tiger, which had escaped its prison.
>ACT
*Intimidate
"BACK OFF, OR I'LL DO A LOT WORSE TO YOU TWO HOUSE PETS," he bellowed, drawing his large sword.
As the glow from the armor subsided, it began to smoke.
Jet stood up, walking towards his two opponents. He cracked his knuckles, which was an impressive feat considering he was wearing gauntlets. He drew his sword, hefting it with both hands.
Master Chief
Clockwerk Battle
A few dozen of the drones earlier seen used by Specter appeared, flying around the ship to the detached portion, humming lightly as they went. John's allies hadn't caught on to his drastic change of sides, it seemed. Hiro was preoccupied, Hunter thought Chief had bad aim, and Cutman was simply confused. It all still played into Clockwerk's hands as the Spartan leaped from the wall, and landed on one of the drones, magnetizing to it with one foot as he magnetized his other foot to a second, effectively making him airborne. Immediately, the drones seemed to begin working in unison, somehow understanding that the super soldier was currently their ally. Or perhaps they were just designed to work in unison when someone hitched a ride on their backs. Who knew? Who cared?
Whipping out his knife, John held it backwards as he flew through the air towards Cutman and Hunter. Clockwerk didn't need any more help with Hiro, Chief had provided a viable distraction to result in Hiro's downfall. All that was left were the two misfits. John, however, was oblivious to Hiro's recovery as he flew toward Cutman and Hunter. The two looked over at Chief's approach, and quickly, he de-magnetized from the drones, and leaped into the air, leaping over the other two as he flipped about, and once right-side-up again, he swung his leg heavily, slamming it into Cutman's side, and sending him flying off of Item 2, soaring back to the ship.
As Chief began to descend, the Drones situated themselves underneath him again, and he quickly magnetized back to them as he set his sights on the Hunter, who was left alone on the board. He'd be easier than Cutman, but together, Chief would possibly struggle. He'd needed to separate them, and he'd done so. Hunter would be the easier adversary. At least, that's what was going through the erratic thoughts of the mind-controlled Spartan.
Doomslayer
Specter's Ship
He hadn't found Kale, and he hadn't found Specter. He was left wandering aimlessly through halls. He'd taken the elevator about for a few levels, trying to find something to kill, but finding nothing as of yet. Just empty halls, and plenty of cameras, which he was quick to shoot with his sidearm. At least it was useful for something, being a relatively weak weapon compared to his others.
However, as he came out on yet another floor, he could hear something. What sounded like a distant screech, followed by an echoing grunt. And not just singular ones, there were many of these. Like a crowd of monkeys had gathered. Which was perfect. Even if Specter wasn't among them, Flynn seriously needed to kill something. It had become second nature to him, and somewhat of an addiction. He knew Arlene wouldn't be thrilled or proud of him for it, but that's what happens when you spend an eternity killing everything in your path.
He followed the noise, occasionally shooting a camera on the wall or the ceiling as he went. He wanted Specter to know he was coming, but he also wanted Specter to see Flynn before camera went out. The sounds of the ape crowd grew louder, until Flynn found himself at the entrance of a cafeteria. He tucked his sidearm away, pulling it his Combat Shotgun. Less powerful than the Super, but far more effective at mowing down large groups of weak enemies. As he stood there, the noise level began to slowly die down as the Apes all turned their attention to look at Flynn, up until it was silent.
For a few seconds, there was no sound as the Apes stared back at Flynn, unsure of what to do. The tension was real. For them, at least. Finally, Flynn made the first move. He cocked the Shotgun just as he charged into the room.
SLAYER'S PARADISE The Apes started to rise from their seats as the first one went down, his face mutilated from a shotgun blast. Just as this happened, Flynn leaped into the air, slamming his boots into a second ape, knocking it to the ground, before raising his boot, and bringing it down on the Ape's head. Blood and brain matter went flying, splattering the ground for a meter or so as he didn't waste any time in firing three more shots into three more Apes, bringing them all down.
He was surrounded by them, and they were now enraged, beating their chests and beginning to charge. Kinda stupid. This fight wasn't very fair. He should have given them time to prepare. Maybe then this wouldn't be such a walk in the park. Seriously, he was yawning. One Ape slammed its fist into his chest, and the sound of splintering bones and crushed muscles followed as the Ape crushed his hand against the Slayer. While he managed to force the Doomslayer back a step, Flynn was hardly fazed as he grabbed the Ape by its wrist, and tugged, ripping the Ape's arm clean out. Following this came the howling of pain as the Ape dropped to the floor.
Swinging the arm, Flynn hit it into another Ape, who winced at it, but wasn't really hurt. Of course. Why had he used that arm, anyway? He had perfectly good ones of his own. The Apes swarmed Doomslayer, each ramming their fists into him, though not quite as hard, so as to avoid their armless pal lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood. As Flynn was being nudged about by the punches, he proceeded to calmly reload his shotgun, and upon completion, he cocked it again, and bashed the butt of it over one of the Ape's skulls, caving it in. Immediately, he kicked out with his leg, slamming it into another Ape's chest. With a heavy cracking sound, the Ape's ribs collapsed as it went flying, slamming into the nearby wall, and slumping to the ground, still.
The Apes barely had time to register the two latest deaths, as Flynn was already upon them, bringing back his fist, and shoving it down one of their throats, before yanking it out, pulling the Ape's trachea along with it. As that Ape fell, he turned to the next Ape, and took a step forward, bringing his head forward to slam into its face. The force of this blow knocked the Ape's head back with a sickening crack as his neck broke from the sheer force of the head butt.
The group of Apes in the mess hall was dwindling, and Flynn was showing no signs of relenting, seemingly getting more powerful with each kill. Ape after Ape fell to his killing frenzy, unable to land any hits that could do any damage to the Slayer as he relentlessly tore them apart. He picked up yet another Ape, holding it high above his head as it struggled to break free, but was unable to do anything as Flynn used his hands to pull at either end of the Ape, who began screaming in fear and pain as he felt himself beginning to rip in two, and after another second or two, there was a sickening pop as the body was torn in two, and the Slayer tossed both halves to the side. After about another minute of bloodshed, Flynn turned to see a small group of Apes escaping out of the cafeteria. He didn't bother stopping them. Perhaps they'd go and collect some firepower, get some more units to face off with Flynn. Maybe then they'd pose more of a challenge.
He looked about the gore-filled cafeteria, blood dripping from just about every surface, himself included. Organs lined the ground alongside a few dozen Ape corpses, their hair matted with thick red blood. Flynn looked toward the ceiling, to find four cameras stationed at each corner of the mess hall. One of the lights along the ceiling had become detached from a loose shotgun blast, and was hanging down, swinging lazily as the light flickered. The other lights in the room were splattered with blood, casting an eerie red glow in the room. Perfect. He hoped Specter had been watching, because that entire mess was simply just a display to show the monkey what he'd brought upon himself. Flynn pulled out his sidearm again, and quickly fired three shots, destroying three of the cameras. He stopped at the fourth and final one, before raising his free hand, and flipping it off for a good long second, then finally shot the last camera.
He lowered his sidearm, and turned, walking calmly out of the mess hall, having given the name 'mess' a whole new meaning. With all of the killing, he'd rejuvenated his systems. He was back to full capacity, and ready for anything. Putting away his sidearm, he pulled out his Plasma Rifle, following this by cracking his neck, and jogging down the hall.
There was more Hell to Pay.
Frisk, Alphys, W.D. Gaster
True Lab
Predictably, the child defended the other upon the attack of the steel-colored anthropomorphic hedgehog. Gaster stroked his chin in interest as Maxwell created several humanoid figures to support his endeavors, all targeting Silver. Not... as creative as Gaster expected, if he was being honest. Gaster had been hoping the child would attempt to add adjectives onto his foes, which would no doubt be devastating to them. This is, if the notebook has no limitations, and Gaster full-well desired to exploit these limitations. If the notebook really was infinite in its capabilities, then he would definitely be taking it from Maxwell.
But for now, he chose to observe, curious to see the result of this battle. Maxwell was powerful, that much was true, but facing a pacifist Frisk was no easy challenge, even for the most powerful of beings. Her defense of Maxwell no doubt left more of an impression on him than her attempt to strike up a conversation. She was intent on the others sparing the creatures outside. Notably, the Cobra from earlier was slithering along the ground, passive.
Now, if this Silver character decided to continue intervening with the current fight, Gaster would simply need to confine him back to that room, because he had little interest in Silver, while moreso in Frisk and Maxwell's notebook. What gave the notebook its power? Was there only a certain way Maxwell could utilize it? What were the limits of its power?
Could it produce SOUL fragments?
Ant Man, Hank Pym
New York Street
Hank simply scowled. "Not now, Gentry." He called back through the window, and suddenly, the van shrunk. "Wait, what about Hope?" Scott asked. "She'll be fine. We just need to distance ourselves from Gentry."
"I think he prefers to be called 'Porcupine' now." Scott replied, but Hank chose to ignore him as the tiny van started going down a back alleyway. "You have the tech?" Hank asked, earning silence from Scott. He looked over at the Ant Man, who was staring back with wide eyes. "Dude, I totally forgot. I got distracted and-"
"Damnit, Scott!" Hank cursed. "Hope. Where are you?" Hank asked into the comms as Scott bit the inside of his cheek.
Rick Grimes
Fenrir Far East Branch
Rick realized he still had yet to say anything, having remained silent. He gave a slight nod, pushing himself up and off the bed, standing. "Think I'm ready." He confirmed. No nap, but that was fine. He felt fine now. And that was... good, he hoped. He didn't really want to be wasting any time, and he assumed the same of Tsubaki, here. Very Japanese name. Or was it Chinese? Korean? Rick didn't want to ask, as he assumed that would seem like a... pretty racist question. He looked about the room for anything of his, as he wasn't wearing the clothes he'd been in back home. He was still wearing a hospital gown, so he'd need a change, and he sorta wanted to know just exactly where they'd placed his Hatchet and his Revolver.
Logan
Goldenwalk Sewers
He got no confirmation that anybody was ready to move. They needed to, however, as those assholes up on the surface knew they were down here, and would more than likely attempt to flush them out. Different tactics went through Logan's mind, mostly things surrounding the Vietnam war, as this was the war he'd used the most of these tactics in himself. Dragging the rats out of their and bombarding them into nothing but ash and bone. Easily the most pointless and destructive war Logan had personally been in, but not nearly as brutal as World War II.
"I'll scout ahead." He decided, and started to move away, keeping his wits about him as he went. He needed something to do other than just standing there, waiting for something to happen, and this was the best option he could come up with. If he was gonna start contributing to the group, what better time than now? He popped out his claws as a precaution in the event he encountered trouble on down the tunnel. "Call if you need me." He told the others as he walked away, trudging through the sewage.
Chara
Goldenwalk
"Infestation?" Chara asked, grinning, cocking her head to the side. "Why, I'm glad you've brought me along for this, Elidocorc. You'll find I'm uncannily effective in exterminating such things." As she said this, her eyes flitted over Cecil, and then Scorpio. Interesting. So this Zeliyis had an entire organization, and Chara had landed herself directly in the middle of it all. This was absolutely perfect. And as for Flowey, here, well... He was next to useless, but if things ever started to look grim- which was doubtful -then she'd give him the six human SOULs to absorb. He'd be more useful in his Omega form, anyway.
How did she have the six human SOULs? One might inquire. The answer was simple. Hilariously simple, really. She simply put the items in her inventory after killing the genocidal Frisk of her timeline. Her inventory was insusceptible to time and space, meaning she'd still have them no matter where she went, even if it was a total reset.
Negan, Sans, Snake, SG-1
Camelot
Snake accepted his weapon back, tucking it away as Raiden asked his next question. The soldier thought back to Z, and scowled slightly as his leg where he'd been cut open by the android gave a slight throb. He rubbed his leg for a second as he spoke. "Some kinda android. He was pretty fast, too. Had everybody captured for some plans to wipe out humanity." Snake explained. "Got me pretty good in the leg. Tony used some of those crystals to get us away, and we arrived here. Really don't know much about him outside of that, though."
He turned his head to look at Tony, comically, as Tony did the exact same, looking for some kind of confirmation over Merlina or something through Snake, who raised a single eyebrow. "Don't look at me. Never heard of a Merlina." He stated.
Sans let out a chuckle. "i have." He stated. "sorta. don't know much about her apart from what gawain already said. "alpys played some sonic games back in the day. wasn't really into them, myself, but i got the gist." He then looked toward Gawain. "only problem was, if my memory is correct, merlina was an antagonist in that story."
------------
Negan furrowed his brow at Sam's enthusiasm as he took the lead, seemingly very interested to meet the King. Perhaps he had a boner for royalty, who knew? Not Negan. Did he care to know? No. No he did not. Who was he to judge Sam if he did though? Negan had some pretty crazy fetishes of his own. He glanced over at Drax, who didn't seem all too interested in the medieval world about him, as though it was perfectly normal. Weird guy.
Bro, Lil' Cal
Throne Room
"L-Let's...not talk about her." Kiran seemed to not be particularly fond of Artemis, which Bro shrugged off. "Suit yourself." He replied as they continued on, coming to a stop at a set of doors as Percival gave them her warning over... his sword being fed up. Bro frowned, then looked down at his own katana, then to Lil' Cal, whom Bro still held. Lil' Cal was staring ahead at the door, which was opened by Percival, who led the group inside. Bro took in the sight, looking at each character. He raised a brow as he looked at Merlina, and considered giving her a wink, but decided not to. That would require removing his shades, and he didn't like doing that. Instead, he listened to Kiran's next question.
He followed Kiran's gaze to look at two other individuals apart from the Sonic character and the elf lady, toward Talon and Macy. The former was a robot of some kind, and the latter was even more of a furry than the Sonic characters. Bro looked away from them toward King Sonic as he answered Kiran. "Like us, they arrived here by conventional means." Bro replied. "They're not of this world. As for who they are... Nah, don't care."
Lil' Cal, meanwhile, during this whole exchange, had been staring at King Sonic. Almost like a glare, as if daring the King of Camelot to look him directly in the eye. Bro then began thinking about why the hell Sonic the Hedgehog was suddenly a king. Probably some cheesy lame story writing, or something of the sort. The idea of a King Sonic was absolutely hilarious to Bro, and he seriously wanted to figure out how to get back to Dave just so he could tell him about it. They'd both get a kick out of that.
Spider-Gwen
Goldenwalk Streets
Good. The Silver Scythe had relented her assault, taken aback by Gwen's words. However, she was being tossed a metal bar, presumably to attempt clubbing the Scythe. Gwen didn't really want to do that, however. She didn't really know the Scythe that well, but in this fight, she'd learned enough. Perhaps she just needed a friend. A good influence. Like hell Gwen would let this opportunity go to waste. Still panting, she swallowed, and took a step toward the Silver Scythe, both as a show of kindness... maybe? Gwen wasn't sure, but also to avoid the bar, as it clattered to the ground behind her.
"Yeah, of course. I mean... It's just a corndog... No biggie." Gwen replied. "Like... I can always get another one, right?" She chuckled, hoping the Scythe would relent her attack. "Why fight over a corndog? That's just..." Gwen frowned, her voice trailing off. Why the hell had they been fighting? Gwen had for the sake of her corndog, and also because the Scythe had attacked. Had she stated her business before striking? Gwen couldn't remember. "Um... actually... why were we fighting in the first place?"
Miranda, Whitaker
Insurrection Stronghold
"We've been losing contact with several of our installations in the outer rim." Whitaker explained, pointing at several red dots on a holographic map of the milky way galaxy. "And with your story, and the last transmissions we received from closer ones... I'm lead to believe you."
"Then we need to take action." Miranda stated. "You need to gather up anybody you can before they're consumed by the Flood, too. We can't stay here either. If the Flood are as close as I think they are... They could arrive here at any minute."
Whitaker gave a nod. He was clearly a tough dude, but his eyes betrayed fear. Miranda's story of the Flood had gotten to him, and he believed her. Good. As long as he did, she could try and form a resistance against the Flood. It would probably fail. No, it would fail, but she wouldn't die without trying, at the very least.
"I'll get everyone to what little ships we have." Whitaker explained. "I know I shouldn't, but... apart from me, we have nobody else here experienced with commanding a vessel. I need you in one." Miranda simply gave him a nod. "You can count on me. We don't need to be concerned over the differences of UNSC and Insurrection. There's no more government left to fight. It's just us..." She pointed to the map as another red dot appeared. "And them."
Johnson, Carolina, Church
New Mombasa Airport
"You sure you know how to fly this thing?" Carolina asked as she stood behind Johnson's seat in the Pelican. "Lady, trust me." He replied, flipping a few switches upon the initial ignition of the Pelican's engine. Fueled and ready to go, Johnson grinned, leaning back slightly. "Make yourself comfortable. Enjoy your flight on Johnson Airlines."
Carolina moved back into the closed cockpit, sitting down as Church appeared in front of her. "Oh man, that was cheesy." He chuckled. "Like, 80's action movie cheesy." Carolina, however, didn't seem interested, and upon realizing this, Church's laughter died down. "C'mon. I'm trying to lighten' the mood." He stated. She shrugged in reply. "I know." Carolina stated. "Doesn't change what Johnson told us. This is... our world, but it's... also not."
"It all has to do with multiverse theory." Church replied. "Clearly we've entered another timestream somehow. That weird portal brought us here. Maybe Project Freelancer never even existed here, who knows? But they have all the tech we do. Alternate timeline." Carolina pondered what Church had stated, before giving off another shrug. "Best theory we got, so sure, why not?"
Jack Noir
Wastelands
He stood over the ravaged land. It had taken a few minutes for him to figure it out, but it was really simple. All he had to do was slash them hard enough, and they'd simply... burst apart into nothing, it seemed. So he'd done it to the whole lot of them. The Ogretails were dead, and Jack felt a certain modicum of satisfaction at this prospect, before flapping his massive wings, and shooting up into the air, looking about the wasteland he'd entered, narrowing his eyes, only to see some black forms approaching him. Like a cloud. A liquid cloud. A... cloud made up of those things? No. These particular ones were different. Moth-like in appearance, with massive mouths. Jack's grip on his blade tightened.
The Music That Plays When Jack Goes On A Killing Spree In a flash of green, Jack suddenly appeared in front of the swarm of Aragami. Quickly, he slashed with a heavy fist at the nearest one, his blade cutting clean through. The Aragami let out a screech before bursting apart. Jack began dashing left, right, up, down, and all around, slashing and hacking. Aragami began to fall like flies. Minus the falling part, as they were bursting apart upon dying. Jack brought his sword up over his head, and brought it down on yet another Aragami, destroying it, before one came up behind him, mouth wide, and attempting to bite down on him. It managed to, Jack caught between its jaw and its upper mouth. Growling, he kept its mouth wide as he pushed against the jaw with his feet, and the top half with his arm, still holding his sword.
He disappeared in a flash of green, reappearing above the Aragami, and bringing his blade down once again, bursting the Aragami. There had to have been a few hundred all in all in this herd, and he'd only managed to take out a bout a dozen. His snout quivered in anger. These things didn't stand a chance, but that didn't stop them from being annoying. He had no idea what was going, but to be honest, he didn't really care. Just as long as he could continue to relentlessly kill these things. He suddenly disappeared from his place as several Aragami converged on his position.
Jack reappeared on the other end of the swarm, and after a split second, over a dozen Aragami burst apart, all in his path. He'd moved far too fast for them to detect, resulting in their defeat. He then did this again, appearing all about the swarm, slashing and flying way too fast for them to detect as more and more burst apart, falling to his blade. It took only a few minutes before Jack stopped, breathing a little heavy, but not by much, as he looked about. There were only three Aragami left. Easy pickings.
He was stopped, however, as a sudden beam of what looked like light from the sky above him hit him, launching him back down to the ground, slamming into the earth, cracking the rock beneath him as dust and dirt exploded around him. Jack was back on his feet in only a second, baring his fangs as he looked up to see another Aragami. This one had a more elegant design to it, with a massive eye for a head it looked like. It hovered down, and out of its eye, began firing several blasts of energy toward Jack, who disappeared in a flash of green, reappearing above Sariel the Aragami, and slashing.
The blade cut deep, but it hadn't been hard enough as it swooped away from him, turning to look at him and firing another volley of light beams. Jack flew toward Sariel, weaving around the beams, about to slash the Aragami again, before it changed directions, and instead of moving backwards, it shot forward, slamming into Jack and bouncing him back in confusion, before he was struck by another blast of light that launched him toward the ground again.
Rebium
Remaining Covenant Fleet
The Jiralhanae War Chieftain named Rebium paced back and forth from his position in the control of a Covenant Capital Ship, one that he was commandeering. The Covenant had fallen. The parasite's attack on the Ark had ensured that, and without any more Hierarchs, or even San'Shyuum for that matter, the Jiralhanae were unsure of what to do, except continue fleeing the Flood. None of them liked it, of course. It wasn't in their blood to run, but the parasites were far too powerful. They needed to come up with a counter-attack before anything.
A Brute standing at a holo-console barked something back at Rebium in their native tongue. A call of attention. He looked toward the Brute, and growled back. The Jiralhanae operative gave a nod, and began putting something into the holo-panel. Rebium faced the holographic projector to receive the incoming message from whoever it was attempting to contact them. Rebium realized he should have had his operative look into the source of the signal a little more, in the event the Flood was somehow contacting them. But when the figure did appear in front of him, transparent and light blue, being just a projection, Rebium felt his massive heart skip a beat, and he instinctively took a step back.
Atriox stared back at him. Even on the projector, Atriox stood far taller than Rebium, even with his helmet on. The same Atriox who'd been fighting off the Covenant for decades, and winning. He'd become somewhat of a legend- no -a myth among not only the Jiralhanae, but the entire Covenant as a whole. Rebium had only ever heard stories, and just assumed Atriox was that. A story. Though he'd heard of the Brute's appearance, and this one before him was unmistakably Atriox. There was no way he wasn't.
Rebium gulped, his eyes wide. "A-Atriox..." He spoke, unsure of what to do. The Jiralhanae gave him a slow, simple nod. "You know why I'm here." Atriox stated. Rebium honestly didn't, but he tried to process it in his mind. Why would Atriox be here? To finish off what remained of the Covenant? No... He wouldn't be contacting them if he wanted to kill... He wanted... an alliance, perhaps? "Then you know what happened?" Rebium asked roughly. Atriox smirked slightly. "The Covenant is no more. Your ships, your soldiers, and your weapons belong to the Banished now."
This wasn't a negotiation, and Atriox made it clear by cutting his connection with Rebium, the hologram disappearing. He felt sweat clinging to his fur. All the operatives in the room were staring at Rebium, awaiting his orders. "How many of his ships are out there?" Rebium demanded. The Brutes got to work, staring intently at their screens as they typed and swiped, and finally, one replied. "We don't know. They have their stealth engaged. Our sensors can't pick them up."
He couldn't appear weak, but... Atriox could possibly have the upper hand in numbers, or firepower. Or both. If he did? Rebium would be a fool to attempt to engage in battle against the mighty Atriox. Not even the demons had come so close to bringing down the Covenant as he had. "Power down shields." Rebium ordered. "We do as he says."
"We are Banished, now."
Vriska, Doc Scratch
English Manor "Under normal circumstances, you would be correct in your observation." A voice stated behind Star-Lord. "However, these are not normal circumstances. My home is in ruins due to faults in the space-time continuum of our omniverse. You see, the Mansion wasn't in ruins just a few hours prior to when we are now, when I was lounging by my fireplace, watching current events unfold. However, my Mansion is in ruins now, but it is also not, and won't be until much further into the future."
Star-Lord had whipped about to confront this intrusion, to find a well-dressed short man with a massive, pearly white ball for a head. It wasn't entirely clear if the stranger was staring back at Star-Lord or not. He had no eyes. His head was just... a giant cue ball. "Oh my, I'm am truly sorry, I neglected to introduce myself. I am DocScratch. Why is this title referred to as my name, you may ask? Well, it is because I am the scratch doctor. I fix scratches, which are continuity breaks, and seams in time and space itself. I can create and destroy timelines, I can retcon whatever I please. As I make it clear to all of my guests, I am not planning anything barbaric or cruel. I do not wish to cause harm to any timelines."
"However, I need to get to the point. Why I allowed you to come here. You're not particularly a unique individual. Not many entities are anymore, despite the linearity of time. You see, there is a being who is tearing apart continuity. I am powerless to stop him alone, and I need to plant seeds throughout the omniverse. I know you may not understand a word I'm saying, so I'll simply be implanting my ideas and directions into your mind."
------------
Vriska looked about the room for a few moments, before letting out a sigh. So... random dude brings her here, talks about some mumbo-jumbo, then up and leaves to deal with a guest. Who the hell would willingly come to this place? It was hideous and rancid, and... well, to be honest, she actually liked it. Reminded her a lot of her days roleplaying with Terezi, back when they'd explore old abandoned shelters for tools so they could build their pirate ship, and become the most feared scalawags in Alternia. The dream had never come true, but they sure did build themselves a Pirate ship. A shitty one, yes, but one none the less.
She decided she wanted to contact her friends, so pulling out her phone, she noticed that Terezi and John both had been attempting to contact her through the chat client 'Pesterchum'. She debated on which one to open first, before clicking on Terezi's chum handle; 'gallowsCalibrator'.

Tucking away her phone, Vriska smirked, a light cerulean blush on her cheeks. She'd talk about her other matters with John later. She approached the door in the dusty room, the only exit, and grabbed the door knob. It was coated in several layers of thick dust. Disgusting. Making a face, she twisted the knob, and pulled on the door. It opened with a snap, clearly not having been used in a long time. Creaking as it swung, Vriska cringed at the sound, before quickly stepping out of the room and finding herself on an indoor balcony. She could hear talking nearby...
She was admittedly curious on who the stranger's 'guest' was, so she decided to follow the sound of talking, which led her down the stairs and toward a hall.
Mere seconds after Ali had grabbed the girl's bag, she, Okimi, Gao, Volpa, and Catgirl got sent to another dimension. Jay Mexicano, Alicia, Happy, and Variant Fox vanished to another. And Danny warped to yet another dimension with Twilight Sparkle and the CRC. All seemed to vanish without a trace.
Name: Akame, Bakugou, Dipper, Erza, Finn & Jake, Raven, Star
Location: Warzone
Group by group, one by one, celebration of the victory of the battle proved to be short lived as each member of the pary began to get sucked up and warped away from the battlefield. Within moments, members of the alliance Star formed along with Bakugou & the UA students as well as Erza Scarlet & Akame vanished in the blink of an eye.
------
Name: Erza
Location: The Wilds (The Cliff)
"Gah...." Erza mumbled as she rubbed her head, before she noted that she had been transported it seemed from the battlefield towards this cliff-side area. Her eyes soon shot out as she glanced behind her and began to do a head count as it seemed that she was part of a minority patch of the group who were now separated from everyone else.
"Is everyone okay?" Erza asked out to the group as Rex had a skirmish with a buffalo or some creature that ended as soon as she had taken notice, then she noticed Keda seemed to be reading some note. And seemed....happy.
"What is it?" Erza asked Keda curious.
------
Name: Dipper, Finn & Jake, Raven, Star
Location: The Wilds (The Tundra)
"Ow...." Dipper mumbled, as he felt he landed on something squishy. Only to glance down and note the thing he landed on was Jake himself who glared at Dipper annoyingly.
"S-sorry...." Dipper said as he quickly got up, along with Star, Raven and Finn around them as they scanned the area in confusion. Specially the house that seemed to have a pony-shaped hole through it.
"Okay, well....seems we jumped again." Star commented as she patted her dress to remove dust while Raven let out a sigh.
"Spectacular."
------
Name: Akame, Bakugou
Location: Yharnam
With a thud, both Akame and Bakugou soon landed in a bizarre new location to them. And into each other, which only caused the confused and literal explosive student to grow temperamental.
"Get off me blood eyes!" Bakugou spat as he shoved Akame away who in turn opted to saw nothing as she scanned the area and tried to take in her new surroundings. A desolate looking place, that seemed to be in the middle of nightfall which oddly brought some familiarity and "comfort" to Akame given her line of work.
------------- Name: Hiro, Kale and the Keyblade Trinity Squadron
Location: Specter's Ship & Clockwerk
Kale had been just seconds away from opening the emergency exit, before something dawned on the window next to her. As she glanced ahead, she saw what appeared to be some sort of demonic demon owl flying by Specter's ship; a chilling site, and one that became curious as she seemed to notice some lights that shinned from some of the missiles that Clockwerk fired upon something.
Something that, when Kale squinted her eyes, took note of what appeared to be some figure. Someone who seemed to be fighting on the metal bird, and someone who seemed to bring fourth the thunder in the most literal sense.
-----
"THUNDER!" Hiro called out, as he unleashed multiple electric strikes from the sky to blast the the missiles Clockwerk fired upon him as he aimed to set them ablaze as they exploded before they could reach him. Hiro glared at he eyed the turrets on the neck and heard Clockwerk's taunts, as he had not had a chance to respond given he had to focus on staying on the back of the vulnerable section; no easy task given his movements but Hiro managed to just barley avoid being tossed off.
"If you think I lack that quality you are about to be disappointed. I may not be a killer by nature, but I know that monsters like you need to be stopped. And I won't rest until you are reduced to scrap metal." Hiro said as he made his intentions clear before he dashed ahead, as he aimed to use lightning attacks to blow of the missiles before they reached him while he would try to slice at the launchers when he got close enough with Total Eclipse.
------
Kale wondered if that individual who seemed to be fighting the bird could be Hiro, as the lightning was one of the moves she saw from him and his ki felt the same. Kale decided it had to be him, and knew then she needed to get out of here quickly to help so she stepped back and prepared to open the window to escape through it.
Only for a new yet familiar face to make his arrival.
"F-flynn? Oh I am g-glad you are okay. D-don't worry about these guys, t-they are not hostile." Kale said as she hoped to get Flynn to understand but given the tense and rather unfriendly reaction of the monkeys she knew she needed to step in.
"L-look guys, he is a friend of mine. W-we can agree to peaceful terms for the moment, no reason to fight." Kale said, speaking up slightly as she hoped to use the monkeys "affection" for her to quell their temperament to the intruder. Some of the apes glanced to her when they heard the voice, and Kale was hopeful that they could avoid open hostilities.
Then it all went to hell.
Fighting broke out, and that fighting led to retaliation and escalation on the part of Flynn as he lived up to his name Doomslayer in more ways the one. The sheer brutality, the horror she witness took her to her core as her eyes widened in pure fright and she clasped her hands over her mouth; unable to even speak as she could not believe what she was seeing. Kale's body shook, and her cry for Flynn to stop seemed to fall on deaf ears...her attempt to fire a ki blast in the ceiling to get his attention failed to get notice. Nothing worked, and Kale became petrified by the horror she was seeing as her legs froze and her body shook in place as one by one Doomslayer seemed to slaughter the monkeys; the cries of pain and agony became inbeddted into her mine. The site bared a frightening similarity to the simulation that Specter showed him.
Kale soon fell to her knees, grabbing the sides of her head. Too scared to act, too confused by what Flynn was doing....too weak to make a difference. That inner voice snapped at her. She had the power to stop this, to stop all of this yet when it mattered what did she ever do when it counted?
Nothing.
"How....how could....how could....they....I...." Kale mumbled to herself, her already quiet voice but a mere terrified whisper. As the tears flowed and stained her cheeks, as the reality of everything she saw came crashing down....a subtle glow began to shine around her. Clouds outside the ship began to gather, a storm seemed to be coming.
One unlike anything anyone had seen.
------
"Hey is but an insurgent of interest to our lord, nothing of your concern. In fact he is the reason we in part wish to extend this olive branch." The middle of the Keyblade Trio said as they others gazed upon the monitors, and noted that another new arrival seemed to go on the absolute war path and cleave through the monkey workers he had.
"And given this active atrocity, it seems you have more issues and enemies. We can be of use to help eliminate such threats, and ensure you don't have such nagging issues to deal with if you consider a proposal we have." A second among the Keyblade Trio said as he promised that they would deal with these threats....then they began to sense this, this energy in the air and noticed the bizarre gathering of storm clouds.
One that seemed to hung around the ship area and Clockwerk, but no where else if what the trio saw by the window was any indication which had been a puzzling development.
------
Hiro charged at Clockwerk, but he had not been oblivious to this odd presence that seemed to build up as well as the gathering of clouds. It seemed far too sudden for it to be a regular weather change, and this presence this energy seemed to grow which caused Hiro to squint to the source which seemed to come from Specter's ship.
Is that Specter guy behind this? What the hell is he planning. No, but there is a danger that approaches. One you must be prepared for, if you aim to survive this.
Hiro paused, both in part to hearing the voice of that woman once more and from the sudden lightning bolt that struck just a few feet in front of him. The bolt didn't seem to do that much damage, which at first he attributed to Clockwerk's steel armor. But then more bolts struck around the top of Specter's ship which also only seemed to do surface level damage; leaving some scorch impact marks and little more. Still, the fact that this lightning happened in such a nature, in response to the rising energy that Hiro's Keyblade seemed to scream at him told Hiro that they were being attracted. Pulled in by this presence.
And ear splitting roar was heard all throughout Specter's ship, windows shattered all around the young Saiyan as Kale unleashed this powerful bellow; the ground below her caved in leaving a lasting dent on the floor, the lights was struck by rogue electric surges that shot from her body in all directions and blew out & shattered as everything began to shake within the ship. A powerful aura enveloped Kale as she stood and screamed her lungs out, this explosive power burst from every inch of her body; her muscles began to expand, she began to grow a full two feet taller as her hair began to stand and transform into this yellowish-green. However, bar non among the physical changes the most disturbing one had been Kale's own eyes; as they seemed to fade out and become pure white. Losing the life, the kind nature and even any sense of her persona which left nothing but a raging beast.
One driven past the breaking point due to the mental anguish, the horrors she had seen breaking her....and one now only fueled by this unrelenting fury. A rage, as the monster within Kale; the one she feared so much, had emerged. One with its eyes set on her "friend" in Flynn as her hollow eyes conveyed the fury ten fold as she had him squarely on his sites.
The Berserker had been awakened.
----------- Name: Azula, Blake & Weiss, Caulifla, Yang Location: Camelot
"Oh a wizard huh?" Yang asked, as she was already a bit intrigued by this development that Sir Gawain had talked about and wanted to know more. "Where can we meet her?"
------
Azula listened as Nanashi explained that he didn't so much "tame" these demons he battled with but rather an uneasy partnership; one with suspected hidden motives and the risk for betrayal at any given moment. A tentative partnership to be sure, and one that struck a cord with Azula....more than Nanashi would ever know.
"I can understand, forming allegiances and these bonds is a very slim tight rope to walk. If you desire to show me this more. "friendly" demon of yours I would like to see. I do find this to be unique..." Azula said, as she knew she needed to play along with this. If Azula showed interest in Nanashi and more importantly had speaking time with him that would only serve him well.
-------
"Easy...." Blake said to Goblin Slayer, with a firm but unexpressive tone otherwise as she aimed to try and calm him down before he did something to the newcomer akin to what she had seen him do to Goblins; no reason to waste such brutality on someone who may not have even been an enemy. Weiss would step forward to greet the odd new arrival who seemed to carry a book at the ready, a weapon perhaps?
"My name is Weiss Schnee. These are Blake Belladonna and um...Goblin Slayer. As for where we are that we are unsure of. We encountered these crystals and found ourselves just...warped here. We are trying to figure that out in truth." Weiss said, as she gave her group a proper introduction to the newcomer and explained what they knew and what they had not known.
"Wait one second, going off on our own might be suicide here." Toph said as she felt Logan walk away and head his intentions and with a sigh moved after him as she figured that if one was gonna go off on their own it would be better to at least work in some "buddy" system or something.
-----
Lucario moved beside the one named Priscilla and the Goldenwalk group as he heard mention of somebody he had not met who somehow knew him by name and referenced some games. Which caused the Aura Pokemon to grow curious....
"Games? Gen 11?" Lucario asked as he spoke up and made his presence known to the group and his large ears seemed to pick up on those terms heard through the discussion.
"Don't look at me for answers." Koji said. He shrugged his shoulders. "I am as clueless as you about this stuff." Meanwhile, in the sewers, Alina nodded at Toph's words. "She's right. This is unfamiliar territory to us all. Who knows what is down here."
Catgirl's universe
It was at this time that Ali's Multitrix timed out. She fell towards the ground along with Gao, Okimi, Catgirl, and Volpa. The fox-like ghost was the only one not screaming. All of a sudden, the group was caught by a bird shaped plane. "Welcome aboard." a voice called from the plane's cockpit.
Specter’s eyes focused on the trio in front of him. He knew there was more to what they were saying. Timeman peered at them, always the suspicious type. Before Timeman could get a word in, Specter spoke first.
“If you are as strong as you claim, then how would I be of use to you? Hm?”
Specter turned his head to the right, noticing Kale’s Vitals go off the charts, his eyes flash open. It appears something is wrong with the experiment. He glanced over to the trio of hidden figures.
“Hold on, I have some matters to attend to. Timeman! Man the Bridge for a few.”
Specter’s share moves towards a console, as he clicked a few keys. I within moments a live feed had appeared of the cafeteria. Specter was shocked and appalled at the sight of several dead monkeys lining the floor, and a shell shocked Kale on the edge of the room. Specter’s eyes narrowed as he turned his chair to face Doomslayer, the culprit of the slaughter.
“So...this is the ‘faith in humanity’ that Kale has told me so much about....” Specter spoke with venom in the intecome.
He clicked a button on his chair, the mauled apes vanishing from sight, appearing to be nothing more than holograms. Specter’s tonality seems to be a mix of appalled and dissapointed.
“I’ve humored Kale, your friend. I thought perhaps...maybe...she could have a point. These ‘friends’ she held onto seemed like the best samples of humanity. I even humored the thought of sparing your band of merry men as a show of my gratitude. But now I see that I was right all along. Naturally...”
Specter’s red eyes flashed up at the screen
“You’ve became the embodiment of what I despise of all else in humanity! For that, you will get no quarter!!”
All of a sudden, Red alarms blared all across the ship. Throughout the hallways, forces scattered to attention. Hallways were locked down my Mecha Hiros, Canopeks, and other such creations. They were isolating Doomslayer and all those who would dare board his ship. They many were rushing right toward his location. An army was coming...and soon.
Suddenly...a booming sound resonated throughout the room. Specter’s glare on doomslayer was broken. He turned to the right, shocked at Kale’s state. She had turned animalistic, energy pouring from her very skin. Specter saw this as golden opportunity
“Now you see Kale?? This is the humanity you praise! Now activate that teleportation device I gave you and my forces will crush him like an ant!”
Timeman on the bridge crossed his arms, staring in contempt at the cafetria monitor.
“How can he be so oblivious? She’s a threat that needs to be disposed of!” Timeman said quietly to himself
Suddenly, lighting began to bombard against the ship. Light damage, nothing too impressive. Timeman, threw his hand out towards the robot technicians.
“Shields up! Maximum potential!”
The shields became active, coating the ship from the lightning. This entire situation didn’t appeal to Timeman. The three of the Think tank were all separated, a mysterious group had arrived and now Kale was...this THING. Timeman need to plan for the contingency to where he was the last one standing.....
Name: Clockwerk
Location: Specter’s Ship Freefall
Clockwerk had no time to react as his torpedo launchers stretching out from his neck were sliced clean into tiny pieces. They sputter and were thrown off, flying down in the wind.
“Those pieces were not blessed with immortality. Do not believe you have made headway. Allow me to show you how fruitless your efforts are.”
With the shield online now due to the lightning storm in play, Clockwerk dived down towards the shield. He flipped so his back were facing the shield, the side with Hiro on it. He brought his body within millimeters of the shield, enough to zap Hiro on the powerful shielding.
Clockwerk however did get hit by the first lightning bolt, doing no visible damage...however a gap began to creak open from his feather like metal plates. The lightning seemed to open it up against Clockwerk’s will.
“My hate is stronger than yours. That is why you lose.”
Name: Belowski Location: Camelot
“Like, righteous dude...”
Belowski strolled in to the now open gates, teetering inside. He must have appeared like the town drunk, despite appearing like a kid. Belowski continued pressing forward, making it toward the main royal palace.
“Oh yeah...looks like a king’s home alright.” Belowski mused. “What was I supposed to do again? What was this team about? Ah, i’ll Figure it out soon enough.”
Belowski approached the main Royal palace, watching several knights In armor spar on the training grounds along the way. He walked right toward the front gates before...ignoring them entirely. Belowski climbed the bricks that made up the castle. His brisk pace was remarkable, scaling the castle with minor effort. Climbing up the last brick, he made it to the top of the castle giving a long sigh.
“Man that was cool...I wonder if they have burritos in this time...”
Just as the werewolf was about to pounce one of the fleeing soldiers, she felt herself being taken away from her fun as she was sent through a portal, accompanying Akame and Bakugou. It was sudden and quick as she then felt herself falling, making harsh contact with the ground that knocked the breath out of her. Standing up on weak legs, the werewolf took in the new surroundings of whatever place she had been taken to. The smell of blood, death and decay was thick and heavy in the air in this strange and foreign place.
Her attention was averted, however, as her gaze steadily shifted to Akame and Bakugou, a low growl emanating from her throat as she bared her teeth. Two potential people to play with until she grew bored, unless they were capable of fighting back, in which she would avoid useless fighting until her wounds healed properly. If she were to revert back to human form, it was possible that her wounds would reopen and kill her during mid-transformation.
A risk she was not willing to take.
For now, she would remain in her current form until her body was fully healed.
Sequin Land, Risky's Ship
Before Risky could respond to her mysterious benefactor, a loud crash could be heard over the side of the ship. Running out, she watched as stunned Tinkerbats and Rottytops alike watched the Contessa pull herself up, the various Soviet troops recovering.
Risky Boots drew her sword. "Ahoy there! My name is Captain Risky Boots, Queen of the Seven Seas. You have just boarded my vessel. Give me one reason not to dispose of you for intrusion."
The various Tinkerbats drew their swords as well. Rotty, meanwhile, tried to shake herself. If she could just pop her head off...
The Wilds, The Cliff
"Everything is perfect." Keda said with a smile, hugging one of the painted rocks.
"I'm home."
Standing up and looking around, Keda confirmed exactly where he was. "This... this is where I left. What happened before I appeared on that flying thing, and before we met in the forest. This is the cliff where..." "KEDA!"
"FATHEEEEEEEEEEEEER!"
"Where my trial began." Keda said with a sigh.
Making a hand sign to Alpha, telling her to stay there, Keda moved towards the cliff. Carefully, he got down to his stomach and looked over the edge. It looked just like he remembered it... but a bit snowy.
Wait... SNOW?
Keda's expression of joy turned to one of shock. "This is bad." he said, getting up and moving back towards the others. "It's Winter. We're going to have to find the cave Alpha and I first stayed for refuge from the storm."
"And that's... at the bottom of this cliff."
The Wilds, The Tundra
Elated to see everyone was there and okay, the Nomad quickly hugged Star, Raven and Finn. Turning towards the house, he decided to walk up and knock on the door.
Just to see who was in there.
True Lab
"I'm not just going to leave-" Silver was saying, when suddenly three large metal humanoids surrounded him.
"You really want to do this? ALRIGHT THEN."
Silver grabbed two with psychic energy, slamming them into each other before grabbing a nearby table. He wrapped the two up in the table tightly. It probably wouldn't hold them for long, but long enough is all he needed.
Frisk's words about sparing were still in the back of his mind. But in his experience... "You're a trusting fool! All I needed was a single ploy of remorse, and YOU FALL RIGHT INTO MY TRAP! OHOHOHO!"
That didn't really work against enemies like this Maxwell.
Silver grabbed the last metal creature before swinging downwards, implanting it seven feet down in the ground. Wait a second... he didn't create those with his notebook.
"BLAZE!" Silver shouted. "HE'S GOT CONTROL OVER METAL! MELT THE BIG METAL THINGS!"
Blaze trusted Jet to handle the hellhound, as she dashed behind the fireproof cyclops. Her smaller size and greater speed meant it was easy to use the creature as a living shield.
Blaze leaped off of the cyclops, landing on the wall, before jumping back towards the cyclops. She delivered a powerful spin kick right to its back.
"BLAZE! HE'S GOT CONTROL OVER METAL! MELT THE BIG METAL THINGS!"
"Got it!" Blaze said, dashing off. When she got near Silver, she launched two red-hot fireballs at the metal creatures, dropping a third into the hole as Silver directed her to.
Goldenwalk Business District
"Three, actually." Scorpio corrected. "You keep forgetting that we lost dear Armorella."
When Chara and Flowey were introduced, Scorpio looked over them both warily. Chara... The wild card of wild cards. What does Elidocorc think he's doing? Chara's mere presence puts this whole operation in danger... I'll have to figure out some way to keep her under control. Scorpio thought. Flowey, meanwhile... As long as Chara's around, he shouldn't do much. Even if he does try something.... Well, I'll deal with him.
Goldenwalk Streets
Nathan was taken slightly aback. Wait... were they TALKING now?
"Because she attacked us to give that criminal boss time to escape-" Nathan answered, before remembering just what his words meant. "SHIT!" Nathan quickly leapt off of the truck, dashing off in an attempt to find the boss.
Specter's Ship Freefall
"Wait, why's he coming over-"
Cut Man was unable to finish his thought before a titanium-armored foot slammed into his side, sending Cut Man reeling back and off of Item 2.
"WHAT THE SCRAP?!" Cut Man explained. Quickly, he whipped out a Rolling Cutter, managing to use it to barely grab the edge of Item 2.
Well, that was cleared up. Green-armor was an enemy now.
And enemies get cut from the gang.
"HEY, TRAITOR!" Cut Man let out a growl, gripping the side of Item 2 with his left hand. Unaware to him, the strain caused it to spike. "IF YA DON'T MIND, I'M CUTTING BACK IN-" As Cut Man flipped over the side of Item 2, a Rolling Cutter in his right hand...
Item 2 vanished. LEFT ARM - CRITICAL DAMAGE
"Oh scrap." Cut Man let out a curse as the platform both he and the Hunter were standing on vanished.
Sunny's Warehouse "Dude, I totally forgot. I got distracted and-"
"Damnit, Scott! Hope. Where are you?"
"Picking up Scott's mess, apparently." Hope sighed. She had been about to leave, but after learning Scott left the tech behind... "Porcupine's not here. I think he's out front. I'll grab the tech and come meet up with you."
New York Street
Indeed, Porcupine was no longer at the warehouse.
Instead, he was flying in the New York Streets via the jets that some of his "quills" had built in. He landed in the alleyway nearby them - not spotting them yet, but EXTREMELY close.
"Pym! Where are you?!"
Fenrir Far East Branch
"Good." Tsubaki said. "In that case, we'll begin with combat training." Tsubaki began to walk off. "You have a Fenrir outfit on the chair in the corner of the room, and when you get to the training room you will receive a mockup of what your God Arc should look like."
Camelot Castle Town
Gawain was slightly taken aback at the implication that there were games about Sonic, but he decided to push it to the side for the time being.
"Antagonist?" Tony questioned. "Peter would probably know more about her than I would, but... she's a villain then?"
"Oh no!" Gawain chuckled, understanding what they meant. "No, Merlina tried to turn Camelot into an eternal realm while under the influence of the Dark Scabbard. Now she's the second most valuable person in Camelot, and the King's aide and confidante." That's when Yang asked her question. "Merlina is almost always by the King's side, so you should be able to meet her soon."
Camelot Castle, Throne Room ...is it looking at the King?
Merlina laid eyes on Cal, paying close attention. It seemed to be just a doll, but...
She could feel there was something more to it...
Sonic, however, seemingly didn't notice. He just looked towards the newcomers. "Hello, welcome to Camelot, yadda yadda yadda." Sonic said with a bored expression. "The ratio between total arrivals and arrivals in the past hour is exponentially skewed, so I think you'll understand if I'm feeling a bit tired."
Contessa’s soldier immediately went on edge as soon as Risky Boots showed up, giving her half threat half introduction. They kept their fingers hovering right over the trigger, but The Contessa didn’t waver. C didn’t like the appeal of their numbers, but weather they were heavily armed was yet to be determined.
“A reason? My isn’t someone full of themselves?” The Contessa crossed her claws. “It’s hard to take you serious in that ridiculous costume. Are you a pirate or some sort of ‘exotic’ dancer?”
The Contessa gave a small smile from her lip stick coated lips at the last sentence. C shook his head at her, as if to silently say it was a bad idea. Weather it was or not Contessa didn’t seem the least concerned with it.
........
Name: Belowski
Location: Camelot Castle Roof
Unfortunately finding no burritos in sight, Belowski decided to move on. He trotted on the roof of the castle, approaching the center from his previous position on the walls. The clicking of his sandals against the roof top was audible as walked along it. To his mild suprise, there was a hole in the tile lining the roof.
“Woah, it’s like the universe is talking to me man...” Belowski muttered. “Or that the construction workers didn’t measure up this corner while putting all their attention on the front and flashy side of the place. Eh, either one.”
He wasn’t one to spit in the face of the universe, so he took the window. He took a leap of faith and hopped down into the hole without even seeing what was down there. He landed on a walkway of stone, grunting as he touched down. Looking around there wasn’t much to see. There were torches on the walls with the uncommon painting separating a few from each other. Behind him was a stone staircase going down.
Logan
Sewers
"Well, I'm not alone, am I?" Logan cracked a dry joke, glancing at Toph, for once showing a new side of him the others hadn't seen, as he'd mostly just been grumpy and independent the whole ride. A good sign, showing he was capable of playing nice, and maybe be a friend. No sooner had he said that Alina spoke, giving her piece. "Then let's all get a move on. Better to keep moving than stay in one place where it's easier to find us."
His mind was preoccupied, however. This whole adventure was crazy, and to be honest... He was starting to enjoy it. It was something. Better than what he'd been doing before arriving. Taking care of Charles, plotting suicide, getting annoyed with Caliban, driving a limo... That wasn't who he was. Not really. He was a hunter. A fighter. He always had been, even in the darkest of situations, he always pulled himself up. He still wanted to go back. He still wanted to ensure Charles' safety. He cared a lot about that guy. He'd been like the father-figure Logan never remembered.
But now he was here. He didn't need to worry himself over Charles for now. He had to attend to the matters at hand. If he found a way back home, he'd take it, but... Did he really want to go back? Charles was on the brink of death. Caliban could take care of him... sorta. Unless Charles had another seizure, everything would be fine. Logan clenched his fists, his thoughts conflicting. He was back into this life, not by his own choice, but he liked it. The thrill, the danger, the company...
Frisk, Alphys, W.D. Gaster
True Lab
Quite a rude intrusion. Gaster cocked his head to the side, watching as Blaze and Silver worked together. He raised a lone hand, about to flick his wrist and simultaneously snap their necks, before stopping himself. No, they were still useful towards his experiment.
However, this new project was being so rudely interrupted by the two, and Gaster, to be quite frank, really wanted to see how Frisk could fare against someone as remorseless as Maxwell. He was no Flowey, but...
Gaster waved his hand lazily. Silver and Blaze disappeared instantly. As this was happening, the Hellhound stopped, digging its claws into the metal, before all three heads opened their mouths, and released a huge blast of fire toward Jet. Pillars of flame soared to him, and just before they reached him, Silver and Blaze reappeared, directly in the path of the flames, only mere inches from it with barely little time to register, and even less time to react.
The doctor was satisfied as he waved another disembodied hand, and a purple, transparent wall appeared, separating Maxwell, Frisk and Gaster from the others, who were now stuck outside, left to deal with Maxwell's creatures. He returned his attention to the conflict at hand, now free of interruptions.
------------
Frisk frowned at Silver as he ignored who advice once again, and began to take on Maxwell's creations, calling for Blaze's support, who arrived quickly to help, before they both just simply... vanished. Frisk blinked, utterly confused as another strange thing happened. A transparent purple wall appeared, just outside of the hole. It seemed to be there to keep anyone else from coming in.
Frisk quickly turned to Maxwell, believing him to have created this in his attempts to keep others out of the conflict. She decided to try talking again.
*You tell Maxwell he has a cool notebook.
*You tell him you've used one just like it before.
*You have so much in common.
Ant Man, Hank Pym
Alleyway
"Be careful, Hope." Hank urged into the comms. If anything happened to her because of this operation, which had gone down the hell-hole faster than the Chitauri invasion of New York several years prior, Hank wasn't sure what he'd do. Or what Janet would do. They'd just gotten her back, and-
"Pym! Where are you?!" Hank grit his teeth as the Porcupine landed in the alleyway, looking about for their small little van. Hank held no love for any Starks, but what he wouldn't give to have a particular one assist him right now... Also, no. If Tony got his hands on Porcupine's tech, he'd be a step closer to Hank's tech, which the old man would never allow.
"Oh, jeez. Uh..." Scott looked out of the front window, squinting up at the Porcupine as they went underneath him, between his legs. "Does the groin plating have to be that big, or do you think he's compensating for something?" He joked, earning no chuckle, or even a smile from Hank as he maneuvered the van past Porcupine, who started to stomp away, searching the ground for them. Scott looked through the back window now as
Porcupine slowly headed the opposite direction, looking about. "Know what would have been cool?" Scott asked. Hank didn't reply, so the Ant Man continued. "If you'd resized the car when we were directly under him."
Hank frowned. "Damnit. Scott, that's the best idea from you yet." He said, and turned the van around.
Rick Grimes
Fenrir Far East Branch
With that, Tsubaki was gone. Rick looked toward the corner of his room, where she said his new clothes would be, and unsurprisingly, she was right. He closed the door to his room, before pulling the hospital gown off over his head, and folding it, setting on the edge of his bed, and approaching the 'Fenrir outfit'. The shirt was a long-sleeved white button-up. Not exactly Rick's style, but he wasn't complaining. He was glad they hadn't disregarded underwear as he slipped on a pair, and then the pants, which were simple blue jeans. Fresh, it seemed. Then came the white socks, short, and the shoes, which were a black pair of sneakers. It had been a while since he'd worn fresh clothes like this, so in all honestly, it was a bit comforting. He'd forgotten how comfortable clothes could be.
Rick moved the folded hospital gown to the chair where his new clothes had previously been, before turning and leaving his room, closing the door behind him. Tsubaki had moved to the right when leaving, so Rick decided that was the best place to head off first, as he didn't see her in the hall he'd entered. His mind began to wander. What would his God Arc be like? What was combat training like? He was fairly combat oriented, but that was against walkers and other people. He'd never faced an Aragami before, so he was unsure of what to expect.
Sans, Snake, SG-1
Camelot Town
"oh, cool." Sans replied, shoving his hands into the pockets of his shorts, as he was still without his signature jacket, it having been lost previously in the conflict against Z, when Omega had captured them. He honestly felt a bit naked without it, but maybe he'd avoid the fat jokes now. Not that he wouldn't be cracking them himself if he got the chance. While Sans may have appeared to be simply moving along with the group, acting lazy, he was really extremely attentive, carefully observing and analyzing every inch of Camelot he could. They were clearly medieval, and already suffered dimension rifts, thanks to Sonic characters having been here.
As Snake and Raiden talked, Daniel was the first to break from the SG-1 group, who were caught in the middle of the larger group. He approached Sir Gawain. "Wait, the 'Dark Scabbard'?" He seemed extremely intrigued. "Um... What exactly is that?"
Bro, Lil' Cal
Throne Room
Merlina somehow wasn't able to notice it, but somehow, Lil' Cal was suddenly staring at her. He didn't appear to have moved, but he was now directly looking at her, his eyes boring into her own, his unsettling gleeful face shining as Bro held his puppet. "Wanna race?" He immediately spoke. "Take your mind off things? Friendly competition? I get you're fast, so I'm testing myself." His proposal was sudden and spontaneous, and seemed genuine.
How he already knew Sonic was fast was anyone's guess, though Sonic could take it in a prideful way or however he pleased, Bro honestly just wanted the chance to say; 'you're too slow'. It would be hilarious. Another thing he and Dave could laugh about when he got the chance.
Shit... He missed the little guy.
Artemis
Serena's Room
"So your Pokemon are moreso partners and companions than pets." Artemis noted. "And you use them to entertain others in Contests. What kind of contests are you talking about? Physical engagements, or something like... who has the best fur?" She asked. "Because I like your Delphox. She has very nice fur. Speaking of, do you mind if I pet her again? She is quite a magnificent creature."
Belowski stumbled down the steps of the castle. It grew ever darker as fewer and fewer torches were lit. It began to seem more gloomy the way he descended, albeit his spirit didn’t seem to be changed in the slightest. He made it down the steps, welcomed with the sight of long hall filled with cages. Bars stretched from the ceiling to the floor of the rooms it was a Dungeon.
Belowski walked in his dizzy fashion through the dungeon, not too fond of prisons. His eyes found a tuft if green hair and locked onto it...well...as much as the boy could anyway. Belowski stumbled to the bars and put a hand on it. It was met with the sight of Noah Kaiba, imprisoned in the Dungeon.
“Yo, man.” Belowski spoke to him. “Like, Why are you all bottled up in here? Cages are tools of the man to control y’a dude.”
Sir Lancelot, Goku, and Galacta Knight
Camelot Training Grounds
Lancelot was taken by surprise a Caulifla grabbed his leg. As he was thrown across the room, he had an idea. As he flew, he extended his foot towards the wall he was directed towards, almost as if he was going to kick the wall.
"Chaos..."
Right before he hit the cold stone barrier, he cried out.
"CONTROL!!!"
He vanished, appearing behind Caulifla, his intent to use her own momentum against her.
Asta
Camelot
In response to the one in armor grabbing a weapon, Asta's eyes widened. The handle of the Demon Dweller Sword appeared instantly, out of a blood-red fire produced by the paged on his grimoire. Asta gripped the sword's handle, waiting for what was to come next. Then the other two talked.
"My name is Weiss Schnee. These are Blake Belladonna and um...Goblin Slayer. As for where we are that we are unsure of. We encountered these crystals and found ourselves just...warped here. We are trying to figure that out in truth."
"Goblin Slayer?" Asta thought. "That's seriously his name?... wait, what's a goblin?"
Asta inspected the the three of them, studying their faces and weapons. He sensed their ki; they weren't lying. So there was that.
"So you three too, huh?" he said, as the handle of his blade disappeared back into the pages of his grimoire.
"Heh," he stated, rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry about that. I guess I just overreacted there for a minute."
Seeing no reason why he shouldn't trust them, Asta grinned a little, his nerves calmed. However, the young Magic Knight was still tense, so the grimoire remained floating, emanating its ominous crimson aura.
UA Students, Soul, Ash, Link
???
The group landed on top of each other in the same order they went in; except for Dex, who was distraught over the fact that he could have done something about it. He landed separate from everybody else.
Midoriya, not noticing him, looked around at the dark city they were now in.
"What the--KACCHAN!!!"
Putting aside the fact that the scenery had changed, he was just making sure that he knew where his friend was. He then helped the rest of them up.
"Thank you, Midoriya," said Iida.
Dex was a few yards away from everybody else, holding the handle of his blade. The communicator was still intact; but it could no longer be a sword. Now it was just a hunk of metal.
"Damn it..." he muttered, fastening it back to his head. Link, who had noticed this, walked up to him.
"I saw what you tried to do for your friends," he said, not having much experience with small talk. "That took guts."
"Doesn't matter," Dex replied. "I couldn't do crap."
Link gazed at what was once his weapon, realizing it must have broke. He thought of something he could do to help him out, knitting his eyebrows. He was an adult in a ten-year-old's body; he had to be able to do something.
Realizing something that could help in the slightest, he reached into his inventory and pulled out a weapon he hadn't used in a while.
Hearing the drawing of metal, Dex turned to find the kid holding a
.
Looking down at it, he noticed that it had to be wielded with two hands by Link. But for a teen of his size, it was big enough to be wielded with one hand effectively. He was just tall enough.
It was concealed in a dark crimson scabbard, with bright metal accents. It looked dusty; like it hadn't been used in a while.
"I got this sword a while ago," Link told him. His voice's tone was that of a child; but composed and versatile like an adult's. "It's called the "Sword of The Great Fairy". Ever since I got the mask you saw me use in the fight against those Skulltu--sorry, spiders, this one became obsolete to me; so I don't use it anymore. Consider this as an apology--and a thanks--for what happened on the rooftop back in the other city."
Dex looked at the weapon, finally taking it from Link's hands. He partially drew the blade. The green center was etched with vine patterns. It was obviously no regular sword. The blood-red edges were glowing faintly, shimmering despite the darkness.
"It's not exactly the most masculine weapon but--"
"No, thank you," Dex cut in. "This is perfect."
He latched the Great Fairy's Sword to his back, offering Link a handshake.
Link accepted it, with a surprisingly strong grip for his age.
Meanwhile, Ash was touching down on a building a couple of blocks away.
"AHHHHHHH!"
Hitting his head, he got up, rubbing his injured scalp.
"Man," he groaned. "Again?"
His eyes drifted around the area.
"Pikachu, where are we this time?"
The mouse Pokemon climbed onto his shoulder, spotting something in the distance.
"Pika, pika!"
Ash looked, spotting familiar faces.
"Nice catch, buddy! Now how are we gonna get over there... Charizard went down a while ago."
He shook his head remembering how his faithful Pokemon was put out of commission by a plasma blast. Ash wondered if he had any other fliers on his current team. He snapped his fingers, grinning.
"Heracross, let's go!"
He tossed the Pokeball, his trusty Heracross emerging from a brilliant white light.
"I need you to fly us over there to everybody else!"
His friend nodded, and they took off, Ash hanging on to Heracross's legs.
Jet
True Lab
Jet noticed the purple wall, and how Silver and Blaze simultaneously vanished.
"Maxwell didn't do that," he thought. "Then who--"
Then it hit him.
The guy who was always watching.
About to scream in frustration, the two appeared right beside him, as the hellhound unleashed another volley of flames.
Immediately, Jet thought, "I'll be fine; this armor will save me."
But then he noticed the two in front of him.
"Gaaaa...." Twilight moaned, as she had found herself in quite the unusual situation. For the third time in what felt like a day, she found herself transported into a brand new setting only this one came with a violent collision as she warped and crashed through the roof of what appeared to be some small home. A hut of some kind if Twilight had to guess, and one that seemed barren as she got herself composed and stood up she scanned the room; feeling the bare, cold floor on her hooves as she walked around and found no trace of anyone or anything around the place. It was quite eerie....
Knock knock knock.
Twilight heard someone knock on the door, and while she approached cautiously as she used her telekentic magic to open the door only to thankfully be greeted by a (somewhat) familiar face.
"Oh, hey there. Are the others okay? There doesn't seem to be anyone else here." Twilight asked, as she greeted Nomad and asked how the others in their formally large party had fared while she clarified what she saw inside the seemingly abandoned home.
The next thing she knew, she opened her eyes to see Variant Fox standing by her side, his face above hers. His appearance had changed yet again, this time to an all light gray giant fox with wings. Happy floated overhead. "Oh, good. Your awake." Variant Fox said. "Where are we?" Alicia asked. Then a panicked expression crossed her face. She stood up abruptly. "Where's Gao? Where's Okimi?" The artificial human's voice was full of panic. "I flew over everybody who was warped here. Gao and Okimi were not among them. My guess is that they were warped somewhere else. Wherever they are, I'm sure they'll be fine. From what I've seen, those two can handle themselves." Variant Fox's words seemed to calm Alicia down.
Oh, there went Shears. Though it was surprising who took him out.
"What're you doing Chief?!" Seemed he had intended on shooting upon Hiro, and now knocking the poor automaton out of the air! He was drifting about on some mechanical fliers, rearing up for another hit. Presumably this time, on the Hunter. For what reason he betrayed them was unknown. Did he know the Owl? Or did the Owl do something to him? After all, such a sudden change of teams seemed suspect...
Shears still clung on the board still. The Hunter was opening himself to an attack, but Shears would probably be a good asset to fighting off the coming Chief. "Here, I got ya friend-" He grasped onto the orange bot, but hadn't anticipated what would come next. Cut Man's arm sparked.
And the board dropped. Vanished into thin air, like it never existed.
They were in near freefall now- the clouds were darkening, a storm striking lightning all around. World was spinning. And...he was drawing a blank.
As the winds whipped his face, his tricorn nearly slipping off his head, and his eyes darted to watch Hiro and the owl getting ever distant, he had...no idea what to do. Airborne beasts were far and few between. It was why he wanted to move the fight inside in the first place. He had no mobility in the air. Hunter's weren't made to fly.
But that all seemed so distant now. It seemed it was back to the dream for him...whenever he and the automaton impacted into blood and machinery on the ground. Which also seemed rather distant. The stray discharged floor was nearly a speck on the countrysides below. It almost been four...three minutes since they began this scuffle.
"UH...SHEARS? YOU GOT ANY MORE OF THOSE THINGS?" Any platform at this point would be better than none. He had business to settle here before returning to Yharnam. Hopefully the storm would work in their favor...despite how sudden it was. Just a moment or two ago, it was clear. A bit cloudy, but blue skies, no rumbling thunder.
Something bad was happening. And the Hunter had to see it through. -----
Raiden
Camelot Castle Town North
Hmm. The Z guy was an android. Moved fast. Well, moving fast was nothing new to Raiden. Full on sapient androids were, however. They, physically, would probably be like him. Constructed of hard materials, reinforced with various metals. But unlike him, instead of a squishy brain in there, they had what Raiden assumed to be a supercomputer. Could make calculations and aims in a heartbeat's time. The closest thing to an android Raiden had met was Blade Wolf- and in turn of his intelligence, he lacked the drive and body to be an offensive machine. Z, for all Raiden knew, was far more sophisticated than he, Blade Wolf, or any Unmanned Gear could hope to be.
Not to mention his plans on wiping out humanity.
Seemed like Raiden had a new target on his plate. Snake explained the only reason they did escape was through a series of crystals- just like the one he stepped on. So they escaped through quick thinking and luck. Raiden had held his own and succeeded against speedy targets, like Blade Wolf's first body, Mistral, and Monsoon. So the question was exactly how fast this android was. How good his body was- though he assumed enough blows would soften any armor eventually. He'd just have to wait and see the guy in action. And hope whoever took him on could hold their own.
There was a bit of discussion about a Merlina- Snake was briefly drawn into it, but he hadn't heard of a Merlina. And Raiden hadn't either. Sounded like Merlin...with an 'a' at the end. It was possible she was some sort of alternate Merlin, or the daughter of Merlin. The Skeleton seemed quite aware of these animals...being from a game? A video game?...This was strange, but given the multiversal scale they were on, it was plausible. Hell, he might end up in a universe where he was from a game.
But...that was implausible, right? I mean, his escapades were exciting, but nothing video game worthy. Not to him.
There were more talks...some sort of cursed scabbard, some business Raiden had no particular interest at the time being in. Past was in the past. Whatever this Merlina did before, surely she was making up for it in leaps and strides now. He knew that much...
"Exterminating humanity is no small feat. If he intends on doing it so bad he'd tell you about it...truth is, he's likely not far from achieving it. No wonder everyone wants to make sure the king is warned of it."
Hmm...He wasn't sure if it was this Z guy and his realization that was giving him a odd feeling. But there was something...wrong? Something bad was around the corner. And also not far. Raiden just pushed it back. Surely it was just an odd feeling, and it ended there.

Jetstream Sam
Camelot Castle Town South
"A meeting with the king? Surely he would not mind- though I'd advise you to be brief. I doubt he's enjoying all these visitors from the past hour." The guard told Sam. It seemed there was a bit of a peace going on, with the recent events as was. Meetings with the king were no issue.
"Fantastic! Have a good day, sir." Samuel grinned as he walked into the castle. It was what he expected- a quaint, lovingly kept place, though not incredibly bright or anything that stood out especially well. Sam never truly had time to visit such places on his travel of the world- too focused on taking out specific groups -but this one was nice.
Too bad a nice castle wasn't enough to dissuade him from his goal. Negan and Drax were the least of his worries now- Hmm, perhaps he'd even left them behind in his haste. He didn't care now.
He could almost feel their swords cross once again. Slamming of steel on steel. Hmm, hopefully Jack had not softened himself in the short time they were seperated. After he did all of his hard work to bring Jack out to the spotlight, he'd be rather disappointed if he disappeared back into Raiden. Though surely, Sam had little to worry about.

Kiran
Camelot Castle Sanctum
Well, Bro didn't really care to answer his questions. Not surprising to Kiran. Well, he cared enough to partially humor them...but not enough to fully answer it. "Oh, well of course...That much was clear..." Didn't seem Bro was much of a theorizer. Which was fine. Kiran had enough to mull over here for a good time, though he'd rather a discussion partner who would humor his questions. And following that very very brief discussion, they were up. Towards the throne, and the bored king.
Kiran took a formal approach to the king- taking a bow in front of him. Bro skipped such formalities, instead offering to race the King. Since he was fast. But...how did Bro know this guy?...Actually, Kiran couldn't question that. Bro was clearly an oddball, between the katana and puppet, him knowing the spiky blue king couldn't be that weird.
"Uh...If you would pardon me, good King Sonic, I am Kiran Redmont. Of Virginia. It's a great honor to be here- and meet you." 'Good King'? Would that work? Kiran wasn't sure to call him liege...lord? Well a lord and king were different things! He couldn't call the king a lord. "If you'll allow me, I'm a bit curious on some things...Such as this current...event, that is going on." Gah, he didn't actually ask if he could ask questions! "What I mean is- I- Questions. I have some questions and I'd greatly appreciate it if you could help me answer them."
Hopefully that wouldn't be seen as disrespectful. Because he wasn't so short with the King as much as he was himself. -----
Sarah and the Flamebringer
Mountainside
"Enemies? Well, yeah, we are. And yeah, it could be a trap. But then again? We outnumber her." Sarah was right. Five to one odds, seemed in their favor. If she wanted to fight them, why would she invite them in? That seemed...stupid. Stupid wasn't the Flamebringer's M.O.. "In the case she does attack us, don't be surprised if she sets herself on fire. It's her thing. On the plus side, that's her only thing...Aside from martial arts, but you guys can handle martial arts.”
She kept her hand close to the axe’s handle as she entered the cave. Some mild smoke spewed from what was certainly a fire near the back of the cave. The Flamebringer, was supporting herself with a hand on the wall. “You do not have to worry.” She told told the group, with a rather thick accent. “I have no plans on fighting. It is pointless.”
“You were just about to throw down with me back in Goldenwalk.” Sarah told the woman.
“And I was being paid then to keep you out. To fight you now is pointless. Besides, you outnumber me. Six to one.”
She knew the Flamebringer wasn’t lying, but she did miscount. “Six?” Sarah questioned. “There’s five of us. One, two, three...yeah. Five of us.”
“I meant six. I am not alone in this cave. But she too understands the circumstances. If I were to betray her trust, no doubt would she come for me too.”
So she wasn’t alone? Now this was interesting. But it wasn’t Kiran- unless she thought Kiran was a girl. He might’ve not been the peak of masculinity, but he was definitely a guy. So who was this mysterious ‘she’ that would fight the Flamebringer if she picked pointless fights?
“We have lit a fire, though curiously the last fire was smoldering. We were likely not the first in this cave.” The Flamebringer continued.
“So there’s no wicked ninja here?” Sarah questioned yet again.
“There has been no ninja. Though perhaps Samus might have seen one.”
Samus? Well, Sarah had a name for this mysterious ‘she’. But no lead on the mechanical ninja. At least they found allies...even if it was tenuous. -----
Priscilla, Quint, Jackson, Jerry (Ft. Aisha)
HeroSquad Base
Lucario was just there out of nowhere. Jerry's eyes lit up, but the aura manipulator had apparently heard his talks about the games. "Ah, I didn't realize you were here! I probably fantasized about having a Pokemon so much as a kid, haha! Pokemon...is...uh..." He turned to his acquaintances to consult them. "Do you think if I told him about the games the universe would collapse?"
"Uh..."
"Well, I guess not..."
"Just shoot."
"Okay! Basically Pokemon here is a video game- something of entertainment. And uh...You use Pokeballs to catch and assemble a team of Pokemon...As for Gens, that's basically the term for whenever a new batch of Pokemon are going to be released. But Gen 11 was when I stopped liking the games. Really, I-"
"He's not just a fan Jerry, he's the real deal. And I think he's heard enough." Priscilla cut off and shut down the excited Jerry. Probably was just excited to talk to someone who shared an interest with him. Or just triggered some nostalgia.
Then, there was a knock upon the door, before promptly opening up. It was Aisha. She wasn't tall, or rather intimidating. But she had a very confidant face, for most of the time. Because her face now seemed out of breath, somewhat fearful. As if she had urgent news. "I'm here, I came as fast as possible." She told them. "I assume you four-" She gestured to Thor, Koji, Lucario, and Rocket, "-Are our dimensional guests. Welcome. Now I'm sure you have questions, and stuff, but I'm gonna have to explain some stuff first. I will warn you, it's a bit of a...college lecture almost."
She gave them that warning for good reason.
“Okay, let me ask you guys a question...Is there a difference between a parallel universe and a multiversal dimension?” Aisha asked the group. It was clearly something she intended on answering.
“No,” Jackson told her. “They are pretty much terms for the same thing, right?”
“Nope, they are different things. A parallel universe is one that is mostly the same- with tiny differences. For example, I might prefer tea to coffee in one. The differences are incredibly minute- even an ant moving slightly differently can create an parallel universe.” Aisha stated, quite matter of factly. “But a multiversal dimension...that’s where things get interesting. Something big enough happened to seperate events so dramatically that it, itself, can create other parallel universes.”
“...How do know all this?” Priscilla questioned. “I mean, it’s hard to doubt anything at this point, but this stuff...isn’t exactly common knowledge.”
“Byrgenwyld. I had worked there for some time.”
“Wait- the place in Iowa? The one that had to get nuked off the-”
“Yes, that Byrgenwyld.” Aisha sighed. “I know. I shouldn’t even be sharing this with you guys. Classified stuff. But I can make exceptions...And for the record? It was firebombed. Moving on…”
“If you’ll pardon me going back to Byrgenwyld real quick, if you guys knew about parallel universes, why didn’t you try to go to one of them?” Priscilla questioned once again.
“Well, we tried. We came to the conclusion that the minute changes would actually occur, but every attempt we did to try and ‘breach’ the parallel universe...it just ended in failure. One theory we came to that each time we ‘breached’ we actually merged our universe with that one. Except we would replace our alternates. We came to another theory- if we continued to do that, we could possibly destroy ourselves or the entirety of our multiversal dimension. So that’s when we tried the latter…”
“Which caused the incident?” Jackson said, cutting her off.
“Yes. Worst day of life. Can we stop going back to it?” She quipped back, before sighing again.”...Nevermind. Our theory assumed we could go to another multiversal dimension with a significant amount of energy. But GerinTech wanted results or they’d cut funding. And we didn’t have nearly enough energy. We needed at least three nuclear power plants worth to start thinking about doing a breach, but some...preliminary results...said we could fire up the breacher with a third of that energy.”
“That’s...a lot of energy! Even with one, all of that poured into one machine?!” Jerry said, stating the obvious. At least he was listening.
“Yeah. And with a quickly approaching deadline, some of our higher-ups demanded a test. Which, as you three know, went terribly. And to summarize for you new guys, it brought in a monster that probably lives in a dimension between space and time. Thus, the firebombing. When the incident was over, I was paid by the government to insure the data we collected would not be leaked- as to insure nothing like that ever happened again. I wiped every surviving drive at the site. But, I will admit...I don’t want to see dozens upon dozens of hours...weeks...years of research just deleted for a couple thousand dollars. Especially since it all happened because a company wanted results.”
“A company you still work for.” Jackson pointed out.
“A company without a geriatric old asshole running it. Othello Redmont has run the company much better, stern as he might be. There were rumors about what Gerin was doing in Duston in 2015...But that’s off topic.”
“Fair enough. But how is any of this going to help us get these guys home, and get Kiran and Sarah back? We don’t have triple nuclear reactors or even that technology.” Jackson continued to tear into Aisha.
“Well, I’ll be honest, while Sarah and Kiran are up there? There’s something far worse gnawing at my mind. This multiversal convergence? We had a bit of a theory on that too...in the case of a theoretical multiversal convergence. It means that something has been dropping incredible packets of energy to rip open time and space itself. I don’t know what…”
“Blue crystals.” Priscilla said. “That’s what Sarah crushed. A blue crystal.”
“Good. We know what to look out for then. Well, this energy would need to be also highly concentrated. It would have to affect only the space time continuum. Otherwise, our friends here would be piles of dust on the ground. Multi-dimensional dust, but still.” Aisha’s face turned grim. “The problem is, every one of those hits rips a hole in space and time. And while space and time can repair itself...somewhat...This comes at a cost. Those parallel universes we were talking about? They would be potentially ripped apart in an attempt to keep those spacetime holes filled and the multiversal dimensions separate. Except, despite how infinite they’d seem, when one goes down, this destroys a plethora of potential opportunities to create more. So when they go down exponentially…”
“...The amount of chances to make more goes down.”
“Exactly. Except this isn’t just one or two parallel universes getting wiped out. It could be thousands...millions! So with each crackle in the spacetime continuum? We get one step closer to annihilation. Except? This isn’t just us. This is every multiversal dimension! So each one becomes more unstable, closer and closer to total multiverse destruction. And this doesn’t just happen to one time, it would, theoretically, wipe everything out at one time. So unless we have a way of fixing it? Let me make it short, and concise...We. Are. Fucked.”
Quint moved in to ask a question. “Theoretically, right?” He still wanted to look on the bright side, even when he could potentially be wiped out at any time.
“...Yes, of course. We are fucked, theoretically. A lot of that theory wasn’t actually backed by tested and true research. It was a good part putting the pieces of a puzzle into reasonable places, and the second part was guessing where a piece could fit and assuming that it would. So, we may not exactly be at risk of total and complete annihilation at a moment’s notice...but there’s that chance.” Aisha put her hand on her chin. “Though I will say, even if our parallel universes, and even us, are fine...There could be something or someone out there who isn’t very nice. Like that monster. Or worse…”
“What could be worse than a creature that was firebombed so hard that it wiped a town off the map?” Priscilla asked, less out of snark and more out of curiosity.
“Off the top of my head...Extremely powerful empires, vengeful gods, destructive AI, terrible plagues...the list goes on. And on. Enough things to make that monster seem like small fry.”
“Hey, uh, guys?” Jerry spoke up. He didn’t sound like he had good news. “Umm...There’s something you should probably see. My mom was texting me in a panic and...uh…” He turned around his monitor for the group to see. A news website was pulled up- and in bright, white letters, stated “STAY INDOORS - POLICE FORCE DECIMATED - UNKNOWN TERRORIST ACTS”.
“God damn it.” Jackson said, in a frustrated tone. “Something tells me one of those other problems Aisha mentioned is behind that.”
“Yeah. But now what?” Jerry asked.
The room was hushed.
Possibly destruction hung over their heads like a sword on a thin string, the possible omniverse as a whole at risk, and there was no doubt chaos happening in their own city, by some extra dimensional force’s doings.
And so began the great night, and a fight not just for their city. Not just for Virginia, or the United States. Not even just their world.
But for all of reality. ---x---
Silver Scythe
Goldenwalk Streets
Silver Scythe was surprised at the bar narrowly missing Gwen and herself. Ah, how foolish! It was all just a distraction for her. How pathetic could the Scythe get, believing people being able to turn cheek so suddenly...!...But the second attack never came. Gwen didn't remember why they were fighting.
"Well, it started when I got a call from some guy looking for a distraction...said his troop of criminals were being gunned down and slaughtered. He wanted me to distract you guys and let him get away...oh well. I doubt he'd pay me anyways." Though beneath her helmet, her brow furrowed. "Though you two don't seem like a slaughtering sort...Guess he was being dramatic."
She clicked a trigger on her scythe. It folded inwards, it’s heated edge cooled. “Allow us to bury the hatchet. I no longer have any wish to hurt either of you...Hmm?” She looked around for Nathan. He was gone. “Your friend has gone ahead. I’d go join him. I however...I’m afraid I have something to attend elsewhere.”
The Scythe wasn’t sure why...but she had a bad feeling about this. The street, which had been bustling before she showed up, had been deserted. While often she’d assume this to just be from the conflict...This seemed different.
Not to mention the reaming she’d get from her sisters about running around in the suit. God forbid the damage it sustained in the scuffle.

Commander Cecil
Goldenwalk Business District
Potential? He liked the sound of that...indeed, of his years in the Zeliyis army he had been grand in his work. The occasional failure notwithstanding...Not to mention a recent loss of another top general. Could he…?...No, of course not. That was too prestigious. Cecil would never attain such a role. Unless...he proved his prowess here. Hmm, yes, overcoming a convergence! That would be an incredible feet, even when backed by the horsemen.
“I understand, sir. It is an honor to serve under you this night. And I shall keep an eye out for any pestering fools who are accustomed to such an event.”
It was then, from another vortex, out walked Elidocorc. Who brought with him
Cecil did not often question his superiors. However, when Elidocorc showed up with a child and flower in tow...He had several questions.
Though, Cecil would be honest...there was an immense feeling of dread lingering around the child. The flower seemed to put up an innocent act, but the child...almost pure evil radiated off them. Their eyes locked for a moment. And it almost felt as if he were pierced by the gaze...Though he showed no weakness.
Her gleeful insistence on slaughter and death was curious as well. She could be no older than thirteen years, so it lead to the question of how this young one could possibly be so violent?...Cecil didn’t like it. A incredible asset to the Zeliyis empire was a willingness to obey, be subservient...and children were not that. It didn’t seem like Scorpio was all that pleased either, likely for the same reason.
“Hmm...I do believe that is a grand idea Elidocorc. There are some meddling individuals around. You’d be best to defend our gate as it is set up. They’d expect you the least, after all. And I’d politely request that this...child...is kept with you. No doubt will she as well be an asset to protecting the gate. Given our time frame, I’d say we can accumulate the required crystals in approximately...four hours.”
This was good. Elidocorc would no doubt be susceptible to the metal bender, but the girl was a grandiose hope against them. Not to mention, this would keep them both out of the operations grand scheme...hopefully.
“In that time, I’d also request that each of our units is accompanied by a scorpion drone. As otherwise, that girl may continue to cause us issues…”
xxxxx
The night was everlasting, eternal. Though this much was obvious to Eileen. Another obvious thing to Eileen, was that aside from that one Hunter whom she had befriended, the city was full of beasts. Every last one of them. Nothing but monstrous, plague ridden, mindless creatures. But plague ridden and mindless creatures were also easy targets. Dangerous in numbers and size. Not for their wit.
However, Eileen did not restrict her hunt to such feeble minded things. Even in her elder years, she seeked something of a challenge. She was an assassin of Hunter's who'd lost themselves to the plague, bathing themselves in innocent blood. But the wits and ideas of the Hunter behind them...Dangerous. Dangerous indeed.
Now, on this moonlit hour, Eileen was hunting one mad Hunter in particular. A fellow who should've been dead years ago, Henryk. Partner hunter of the fallen Gasciogne, who too had lost himself. Eileen didn't have a hand in that fall however. She had to thank the newer fellow for that. He seemed like a nice lad, tried to convince Eileen to send any uninfected towards the Oedon Chapel. She agreed, but doubted she'd find any...well, until she turned a corner.
A number odd peoples were upon the ground. They didn't look like beasts, or infected...just bizarre. A colorful young man, with hair so spiky she could cut herself on it. A young girl who looked far too grim for her own good. And a woman she nearly confused for a blood thirsty beast at first glance. And those were the tip of the iceberg...many other...children? Children, were emerging. They weren't of Yharnam- in the pale moonlight that was clear. Foreigners weren't uncommon- even Eileen hailed from the Hinterlands -though these ones looked out of place. Completely. Down to the flowery sword one young man wielded.
"...Your a strange lot, aren't you." Eileen likely looked like a hypocrite. She wasn't called the crow for no reason- a leather bound plague mask covered her face. Not to mention her garbs. She could've passed as a doctor in the times of such plagues. "You don't seem afflicted. Or Hunters, for that matter. You don't even seem to be local to Yharnam. How...where did you all come from? The city is sealed as the hunt commences...and you certainly haven't been hunting."
The one known as Variant Fox became somewhat flustered upon spotting a somewhat familiar face while in the air. Alicia, who was in the air beside him, with Happy clinging to her shoulder, also recognized him. The trio landed not far from Link and co. Jay Mexicano landed mere seconds before the woman in the plague mask approached. Jay Mexicano shivered before answering the question that had been asked. "From various places." the Miraculous user replied.
Name: Hiro, Kale & Keyblade Trinity Squadron
Location: Specter's Ship/Clockwerk
The trio of Keyblade Wielders watched as Specter seemed to proceed with an experiment while the holographic monkeys faded and he seemed to spit venom at the one he pinned the simulation on while he encouraged the girl apparently named Kale as he encouraged her to flee on teleportation so he could enact his "revenge" with bloodlust in his voice.
But what seemed lost to Specter was that it may not have been Kale who needed to flee. As evident by this murderous aura she produced and this power that radiated from her unlike almost anything they had ever sensed.
"If I may speak, I believe the possibility that this "Kale" might not be one we need to worry about saving and be more concerned about "stopping" might be the true reality here." The leader of the trio said as he spoke up while they observed the coming confrontation
-----
Stomp.
Stomp! Stomp!
Specter had his agenda, and his request for Kale seemed to aim to get her out of the line of fire. However, if Kale could hear or process what Specter said she had no shown a response to it. Or care, as her rage-filled being focused squarely on Doomslayer and only Doomslayer as she approached with loud, thunderous steps. Slowly, and with malice clear in her whited out eyes, she approached the demon slayer as her aura crackled and gave off an intimidation that might have maid most actual demons flee in terror.
Kale made it about half way to Doomslayer before she came to a stop, the muscular brute grit her teeth and clenched her fists as she shook a little in place while she eyed Doomslayer with a true death glare. The rage built up from this mental torture and stress of the day all coming fourth at once as she uttered but one sentence out. One line of dialogue that expressed everything oh so simply.
"You....you....murderer!!!"
With that monsterous roar, Kale charged ahead; gliding through the air as she flew at high speeds as within a moment she had closed the distance between herself and Doomslayer within the large but confined room as she reared back a right fist and aimed to deliver a powerful punch straight for the chest as she aimed to deliver a powerful strike; Doomslayer had been what she pinned all this fury on and the beast that took over Kale's mind was determined to use him as a means to unleash it all at once.

"STOP!"
Before Hiro had a chance to be bashed into the shields of Specter, as he hung on for dear life while Clockwerk flipped over he managed to just get off the spell as soon everyone around Hiro came to a dead stop. Hiro knew he had to act quickly, and began to climb and scale along Clockwerk to get to his underside which was now facing away from the ship as he managed to get to the underbelly.
The climb ate up most of his time, as he figured he had but one attack left. But what could he do? This enemy seemed all but invulnerable save for the retractable extensions....then Hiro noticed what appeared to be some subtle, slim gaps between metal feathers; a result of the lightning Kale had summoned. And an opening...
"Gah...."
Hiro clutched his chest in pain, as the magic he has used in this battle combined with the abuse Clockwerk subjected to began to show signs as he tried to think past the pain. Hiro charged just as the time skip would end and aimed to stab Total Eclipse between the slim openings of the feathers to try and do actual damage before Clockwerk or the storm would have the chance to strike again.
"Oh well that is good to know, but when?" Yang said, as she seemed a bit excited to meet this king and this famous wizard in question something she sure Ruby shared in kind. Besides as nice as walking along and hearing about the world was, she felt they could be making their way to the throne room now and wanted to urge them forward if only a little.

Caulifla watched as Lancelot extended his leg as he seemed to aim to bounce off to launch back towards her, as he held up a preemptive guard though before she could react to his attack...he vanished.
What th...?
k Caulifla sensed a presence behind her, as she turned in time to see but not soon enough to react to Lancelot as he seemed to charge with the kick off her momentum as he delivered a clean kick to Caulifla's jaw as she was knocked back as she flipped in the air to land on her legs. She took a moment to rub her chin as she stared Lancelot down in confusion....before she broke out a big grin.
"Woah....that was awesome! How did you do that!? Can you show me it!? W-well after we are done here..." Caulifla said, as she sweat dropped a bit when she realized that the middle of the spar had not been an ideal time for him to teach her anything even if he had an interest. Quickly she assumed a confident smirk as she struck a fighting pose.
"Alright, my turn!" Caulifla called out as she charged ahead; she flew at high speeds as she seemed ready to deliver a stiff right hook to the chest....only to extend and open her palm as she produced a shockwave of invisible ki she aimed to slam into Lancelot as she aimed to catch him by surprise.

"Goblins are well....rather revolting little creatures if the party we encountered is anything to go by. Small sample size, but our um....acquaintance here has a grudge against them as a whole. Personal tauma, I wouldn't inquire about it unless he is willing. Hence the name." Weiss explained to Asta as her vague summery of what Goblins were and Goblin Slayer's hatred of them for Asta least as far as she can understand them. Blake and Weiss relaxed a little as Asta did the same, though that ominous Grimoire had not caused their hands to leave the handles of their weapons. Not yet anyway though they showed no aggression.
"No need to apologize, we are all a bit on edge given what happened. Right now I think it would be wise to avoid uneeded fights and work to figure out where we are and what we can do to get out of this mess." Blake advised to everyone, in particular Goblin Slayer as she hoped to avoid the pain of inter-fighting if it turned out Asta could be an ally which she seemed to think he could.
-------------- Name: Lucario, Toph
Location: Goldenwalk City
Lucario had not heard much of the discussion, or really much of anything once the one who referred to "Gen 11" clarified his statement with the revelation that Lucario had been but a character in a video game. His eyes widened a bit as he stood in place dumbfounded while he tried to process such words before his teeth grit and his paws clinched.
A game? Just a game? Is this human mocking me and my path in life by trying to dismiss it as games!?
"Game you say human? You mean to trivialize what I've gone through and the horrors I've seen with such a dismissal?" Lucario spat as he walked up to the one who made that comment and requested an "autograph" not that he cared what that was.
------
"Well, seems reasonable enough to me. Alright everyone let's get moving better than just waiting here unless you like the smell of toilet water." Toph replied to the group as they began to walk, and as Toph glanced back at Y she used some metal bending to try to drag the body gently along the ground as to not slow anyone else down.
Akame's eyes never left the gaze of the werewolf girl, her hand on the handle of her Imperial Arms as she showed no fear and her eyes seemed to convey a simple message to her; try to attack us, and I will cut you down. In truth there was no way to tell who would win in a fight, but given the girl's caution Akame simply aimed to show a conflict would only lead to problems and quell her primal urges.
Bakugou was a bit tense at the creature, though he tried not to show it, as he then heard the cry of an oh so familiar figure as he glanced in the direction of where it came from.
"Sounds like the nerd made it here to. I presume he'd with whoever else got sucked here." Bakugou explained to both Akame....and the werewolf.
One moment Clockwerk was about to crush him into the shield and in another Hiro had quickly shifted locations to his chest. Hiro had given it a quick and heavy slash to the opening that had been made by the lightning. Internals were heard smashing and dislocating at something gave way. A large panel with metal feathers of Clockwerk’s Wing dislodged, disconnecting from the overall wing. The panel was much larger than Hiro himself, as it fell down onto the shield below. Instead of vaporizing the way hiro would have, it simply landed on the shields energy attempting to disintegrate the wing portion, yet not making any progress. The energy warped around the wing, no success in destroying it. But it was severed from the giant owl.
It all happened within a couple seconds of time, too much for anyone to naturally react to or even process. Clockwerk was taken aback, flying away from the shield in a much different, sperratic manner. His left wing flapped much faster than his right due to the missing panel.
“Time manipulation? Remarkable. The artifact never ceases to intrigue me. But that is enough, boy. It ends here. I will finish you here, after you have been eradicated, I will pay a visit to your beloved world.”
In the folds on the top of his wings, a barrage of missiles fired out, twenty in total. Firing with a red and purple trail, the missiles flew straight ahead before turning their trajectory to face right at Clockwerk... he was going to bombard himself with his own weaponry! The missiles flew towards every portion of Clockwerk’s sturdy immortal armor , only targeting these zones. While one online missile, with a black trail aimed solely at Hiro, in case he were to leap off of Clockwerk.
As Clockwerk’s panel hit the ship’s shields, there was a spike in strain on the shield. Timeman frowned, as it was not only constantly straining the shield, but acted like a conductor to the already battering lightning storm. Timeman pinched the bridge of his mechanical nose.
“Technicians. Create an exact hole in the shields following by exact specifications, got a single hair more or less.”
He uploaded his plan to the machines as the machine crew took charge. A gap in the shields formed, perfectly putting a hole for the Clockwerk Piece to fall into place. It hit the hull of the ship, several drones swarming collectively to pick it up.
“This lightning storm...it’s far more than your average day lighting.” Timeman muttered. “This must be the doing of one of the enemies. By the looks of it...that most undesirable Kale figure. Although if I told that to the ape with a chair fetish, I have a feeling he wouldn’t take kindly to it.”
Specter looked at the trio from the corner of his eye, a lone eyebrow raising from the hyper intelligent simian.
“Just what do you mean by that? You can’t possibly mean that kale is all that dangerous do you?”
Meta Knight saw that everyone was getting sucked up by the vortexes created by the crystals. What he didn’t see was that a crystal landed directly behind him, sucking him in.
Kaleb sent out Charizard and began to fly into the sky, but a crystal fell out of the air and sucked them in as well.
Camelot
Drax looked around at the medieval town, unfazed by what time it appeared to be to most people. Most humans would know that this meant they were in the past, but to Drax, it just felt like another strange alien planet.
“So when do we enter the castle?” he asked Negan. “I’m getting bored, just sitting around doing nothing.”
Camelot Forest
Bowser listened in on the conversation between Azula and Nanashi with little interest. The only reason he had paid any attention at all to them was because Negan told him to keep an eye on Azula.
Vader watched as Belowski followed the others. He continued to guard the treeline, in case anyone tried to attack him or the others.
Goldenwalk Sewers
Peter followed behind Toph and Logan, and the unconscious figure of Y.
“Why is it that we keep ending up underground?” he asked. “I’m getting even more tired of the smell of sewers than usual. And I didn’t even think that was possible.”
Goldenwalk Surface
Sawyer continued to run away from the conflict. He tripped over something on the ground. He looked behind him and recognized it as another one of the crystals.
“Son of a bi-“
Before he could finish his sentence, he was sucked into the vortex. Seconds later, Sawyer was gone.
Master Chief's eyes shot open, finding a dark, indigo sky above him. It took him a second to realize he was without his armor, lying on a patch of lush, green grass. Slowly, he sat up, propping himself up on his elbows. The surrounding land was shrouded in darkness, save for the distant city which greatly illuminated the sky. Where was he? This place felt familiar, yet at the same time... it was completely new to him. The grass that should have been green appeared to be navy blue thanks to the hue the sky cast down upon it. He was lying on a large hill, trees surrounding him at every angle, making vast, sprawling forests as far as he could see in the dark.
Two moons hung in the air, one large and circular, reflecting light from a star he could not see, casting a brighter glow upon everything. The other moon was much smaller, and irregular in shape. A captured asteroid was the clear assumption. There was one other figure in the field with him. A woman. He couldn't see her facial features, but she appeared to be wearing ONI Officer attire, prompting John to quickly spring to his feet, his hand shooting up to his forehead in a salute.
He hadn't a clue as to how he'd wound up in this dark field without his armor, who this woman was, or what had been going on before he'd appeared here. He attempted to jog his memory, thinking back to the last thing he could, and images of a monkey's face on a screen appeared in his mind, followed by a fuzzy re-imagining of a sprint toward a building, passing by destroyed vehicles of some kind. He had companions, but... Something felt off. Suddenly, he came to the realization he wasn't standing in the field anymore. He was in the very place he'd been thinking of, and the memories came flooding back. Specter. They were working to take down Specter. They'd just reactivated Elecman and Cutman, and followed Doomslayer and Hiro to this place. The door into the building had a hole torn through it.
Looking down at his body, John realized he was back in his armor, a plasma rifle in his hand. Not one from his universe, but one of the ones he'd swiped off a dead body earlier, before he'd met his allies. He looked to his right to see the Hunter and Elecman. Looking to his left, he saw Cutman, and a glance up revealed a distant Kale. He felt as though he'd already been through this before, like some kind of déjà vu. He knew he'd already been through this before, but he had no idea what would come next.
"John."
The voice he'd heard before had belonged to a woman, a familiar voice, though this time, it was different. It sounded deeper, the word pronounced longer, accompanied by a throaty growl. John froze on the spot as his companions moved past him, before they too, stopped. The sun that hung in the sky had become covered by something, shading the ground. Looking up, John could see none other than a Covenant Capital ship hanging in the air above Specter's, easily dwarfing the latter vessel. The Spartan frowned. This had been completely unexpected. How had the Covenant arrived here?
But as he thought this, hundreds more ships appeared. Covenant Capitals, Corvettes, Cruisers, you name it. They appeared in the hundreds, and immediately began glassing the surface of the planet. John took a few steps back as the Cruiser hanging above Specter's ship prepared to fire, plasma leaking out of the massive gaping hole in its center, before lighting up. "Everyone, move!" John cried, but he was too late as the Capital Ship fired down a massive beam, tearing through Specter's shields, barreling through his ship, which began to erupt in explosions as it was destroyed. Within seconds, it had punched clean through, slamming through the building, consuming it in plasma. John felt the force of this, being flung back as an immense, copious amount of dirt and dust was flung up with him. His vision became cloudy as he felt himself slam into a building, breaking his shielding, and knocking the wind out of him.
Falling to the ground, Chief collapsed, his shields beeping persistently, warning him of his vulnerability. He slowly pushed himself up, getting precariously back to his feet, stumbling slightly as he tried to regain himself. He could see nothing within a few feet in front of him. The wind began to pick up as his shields recharged, giving off a pleasant hum. The dust began to move, but there seemed to be a lot. The shade disappeared, signifying that a Covenant ship had moved, but as the dirt began to clear, he looked up to see the sky. The first sky he'd seen in this... weird dream, or whatever it was, had been a deep indigo. Then, in Marseille, it had been a hazy grey until the Covenant ships appeared. The sky had then been blue, and now, the sky was a light brown. Covenant ships still hung in the air, but a majority seemed to have something wrong with them... A green haze clung to them, and their exterior seemed consumed in what John could only recognize as...
Flood biomass. The Flood were here now, too? He went to grip his rifle, to find that it had been replaced. Looking down, he saw that the Soviet Plasma Rifle had been replaced, and he was now holding something a lot more comfortable. An MA5B Assault Rifle. He also took note that his armor appeared to be... dilapidated in color, while also having fresh cuts and dents. It appeared to have gone through a lot. The dirt continued to clear, and he noticed something else. A strip that went across the sky in a straight line, getting bigger as it neared the horizon line on either side of him. He realized, with sudden conviction, that this was Halo. Or, at least, another one. The surface seemed to be made up of deserts. He could see a dust devil billowing in the distance, and alongside that, a brown sea.
Something was wrong with that sea, however... It was getting closer, and a sound was coming from it. The sound of roaring. The sea had to have been at least a few miles away still, and to hear it at this distance... He squinted his eyes, trying to confirm his suspicions, and found he was correct. The Flood had sent an army that not even the Chief thought he could handle. The Library had been hard enough. This? This was a sea of Flood heading for him, their numbers extending as far as the eye could see.
Taking a step back, Chief quickly realized there was no ground behind him, and quickly stumbled back. He attempted to regain his balance, but found it was no use as he slipped. Suddenly, he was sinking, water rushing around his armor as he descended quickly, dropping like a rock. Sunlight beamed down through the surface, which was getting further and further away with each passing second, and suddenly, he noticed something. A tentacle rising from the dark depths of the ocean.
"THIS ONE WILL NOT YET PERISH. NOT LIKE THIS."
He heard a deep, rumbling voice sound in the back of his mind, though it was loud, consuming all other thoughts.
"BUT, I SHALL ACCEPT HIM,"
"INTO THE ABYSS."
------------
As John remained trapped within his mind, his physical body had found itself back onto the two drones as Cutman and the Hunter began to fall. Quickly, Master Chief zoomed forward atop the drones, deactivating his magnetic attachment as the drones dropped, before leaping, shooting forward and slamming directly into the Hunter, his arms wrapping around the man's middle as they both sailed back onto the ship, the Spartan having strategically aimed this.
Upon landing back inside the ship, Master Chief let go of the Hunter, moving his hands to the floor, and quickly pushing off, launching himself into the air, and spinning around mid-air to land on his feet deeper in the hall to Hunter, his back to the man.
Doomslayer
Mess Hall
He'd been about to leave the room when he heard the sound of rumbling thunder and a scream. He wouldn't have bothered turning around, but it sounded a lot like Kale, and his suspicion came to fruition upon seeing her, a bright aura surrounding her body as she screamed. He was caught unaware, and a bit dumbfounded. What the hell was she doing? That was when the carnage surrounding them seemed to vanish. Flynn had been wondering if it had been real or not, as he hadn't gained anything from killing the monkeys. This was confirmed by Specter not arriving, and instead spewing empty threats at the Slayer, before encouraging Kale to kill Flynn.
What a ludicrous idea. He'd befriended her. A bit, not much, yeah, but still. He began to have his doubts as she finished her power-up, her body much larger than before, her eyes stone cold as she stared at him. Flynn had never felt fear, and in this moment, he still didn't. But he wondered if he would begin to as she managed to growl one word at him.
Murderer.
Flynn's blood ran cold. The word stung. Why, though? He couldn't understand why he felt hurt by it. It was the truth after all, and Flynn would never deny that. She'd wiped the floor with him previously, granted he'd been distracted, but she hadn't been angry at that time. Just defensive. To be totally honest, Flynn had never had this kind of a reaction before. It was new. And he didn't like it. She began to stomp toward him as he took a decisive step back, still gripping his gun. "Kale." He said, but she didn't seem to want to listen as she neared slowly, before coming to a stop. "Kale, listen to me." He began. "You need to-" He wasn't able to finish as he raised his arms defensively and slowly, which too, was incomplete as Kale shot from her place, speeding towards Doomslayer at a speed he'd never before witnessed, and slamming a single fist into his chest.
He felt nothing. Should he have? Was the punch that weak? No... No... Ow. There it was. He realized his eyes were closed, and quickly opened them to find his vision was blurry, and he was lying face-down on metal. With a groan, he pushed himself up, getting to his feet in a daze. His ears were ringing, and that was all he could hear as he tasted blood in his mouth. On his feet, he looked about, wincing slightly. He was in a totally separate room, and it was obvious how. There was a Doomslayer sized hole in the metal wall itself. So... she'd punched him through the wall? Yeah, probably. That was one helluva hit, too. Damn. He looked down at his chestplate to find a fist imprint embedded in the center. Peering through the hole in the wall, Flynn could see Kale, glaring back.
Fuck.
Negan
Camelot Town
"Lookin' for an entrance, big guy. Calm your tits." Negan replied. Sam had disappeared, and honestly, Negan was interested to see what would happen. New place, new folks, and a wild card. If Sam caused some trouble, then that'd make this trip worth it. So far, this was sorta shitty. Not even the hot chicks with pointy ears would make up for it. Weirdly though, some residents were like those guards at the gate. Those weird, anthropomorphic animals. He didn't really like them, if he was being honest.
And there. The entrance. He caught a lucky glimpse through a group of people. He'd have to do some weaving, but now he knew where it was. "C'mon, Drax. Let's go rock the King's world."
Negan.
What. We haven't talked in a while.
Yeah, I was wonderin' about that. I've been observing.
Did you just use the correct pronoun? Is that surprising?
Nevermind. What's up? We hunger.
Back to the 'we', huh? No.
We both hunger.
Oh. We need to eat. To consume.
Now that you mention it, I could eat a Horse. Yes... That would be preferable.
I didn't mean literally. But there are Horses around.
So? So why not?
Because that's fucking weird. We need to eat some way.
Not Horses. People?
No.
Maybe.
I dunno.
Just wait. Fine.
Spider-Gwen
Goldenwalk Streets
Gwen let out a sigh of relief as the Silver Scythe decided to, in her words, 'bury the hatchet'. Nathan had run off, and Scythe had places to be. That was when Gwen remembered the fact that there was a convergence happening, and she wasn't keen on being left alone. "Oh, cool, um..." She rubbed a bruise that was forming on her arm, wincing slightly. "You uh... wouldn't mind company, would you?" She asked. "I don't know where my new friends went, and since you and I are friends now... You know. Maybe we could get to know each other. Eat some corndogs?" She then frowned, realizing she had no money.
Maybe corndogs would have to be put off for another day.
"...Or... not. Just asking."
Logan
Goldenwalk Sewers
The group began their journey through the sewers, following Logan, who had sniffed them an exit. Spider-Man then spoke up, and something he said caused the old man to frown. "Than usual?" He asked. "What? Come here often?" He made an attempt at a light joke, feeling in better spirits than usual. Maybe that was just the alcohol talking, or maybe it was... something else. He glanced at Toph, and began to talk without waiting for a response from the web-slinger. "What's your home like?" He asked.
Damnit. Now she'd ask about his, and... He really didn't want to talk about that. At all. His world... This was his opportunity to move on. He'd miss it, yeah... but maybe he could be more useful here. Why else would he be here? By some cosmic coincidence?
With his luck, probably.
Sequin Land, Risky's Ship
Rottytops couldn't help but chuckle as the "erotic dancer" comparison was made. Unknown to Contessa, Risky was now thinking about her archenemy.
And that always put her in a foul mood.
Quickly, Risky drew his pistol, blasting the helmet off one of the guards... without causing any fatal damage.
"This is my ship. As such, what I say GOES." Risky said. "That's why if I want you walking the plank, you WALK THE PLA-" Risky. Hold on.
Risky looked towards the radio. She had subconsciously clipped it to her belt. "Hm?" This woman... give me a second.... ah yes, the Contessa. She could be quite useful.
"Really now?" Risky wondered.
True Lab
Before the two could make any action towards Maxwell... they vanished. Disoriented, all Silver saw was the incoming fire.
Blaze moved first.
With a snap of her fingers, all the fire produced by the hellhound stopped in front of Blaze, floating in air as it burned.
"I am Blaze." Blaze said, floating slightly in the air as the fire flew around her. "I control ALL FIRE!"
Blaze thrust her hand forwards, sending a massive blast of flame straight towards the hellhound, about three times as big as it had sent at her.
Specter's Ship VARIABLE WEAPONS SYSTEM v2.3
-ROLLING CUTTER
-LIGHT ANTIVIRUS
>ITEM 1 [R]
>ITEM 2 [L:OFFLINE]
-ITEM 3
-SUPER ADAPTER [FUSEE REQUIRED]
-DOUBLE GEAR SYSTEM [S/P/D]
Cut Man thrust his right hand downwards, a floating platform created underneath him. He turned over, anticipating the Hunter to land on top of him... but no impact came. "What the...?"
Now, Cut Man fully took in the situation. The ship was going higher, and his stationary platform was making him lose the others. But green-armor was fighting tri-hat, Hiro was fighting some robotic owl, and the rest of them were nowhere to be seen.
Changing Item 2 onto his right hand, Cut Man flew up again, jumping off and landing on the deck of the ship. The Chief and the Hunter were his first priority, as they could catch him up on what he missed.
As he landed on the deck, Cut Man tried sending out a teleport signal in the off chance Elec Man could catch it.
Alleyway
As Wasp flew down the streets, heading towards the car, she came across Porcupine.
"You're not Pym." Porcupine said. "But you're the perfect way to bring him out!"
"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" Wasp said. Her hands were full with the tech and the file, so she could only weave her way through the storm of needles. "Scott, I could use some help here! Kind of have my hands full!"
Fenrir Far East Branch
Soon enough, Rick located a large room labeled "Training Room". When he entered, an aide was there with what looked like a really large anime-like sword made entirely out of wood. "This is your God Arc replica." the man said. The sword seemed to be almost - almost - as tall as Rick himself. Hell, a more accurate description for it would be Greatsword.
Above, Tsubaki watched from behind a glass window in a small oversight room like there was in the God Arc Bonding Chamber. However, the training room was about ten times the size of that one. "Tell me when you're ready to begin." she said.
Camelot Castle Town/Camelot Castle, Interior
When Daniel asked about the Dark Scabbard, Sir Gawain's face turned grim. "The Scabbard of Excalibur. It's a dark weapon that grants immortality... at the cost of your soul. It corrupts you, making you one with the underworld itself. It took King Arthur from us long ago, and almost took Merlina as well. We have it locked underneath Camelot Castle right now."
Speaking of the castle, they had just reached the doors of it. Gawain called out to the guards, informing them of his purpose with the group, before the drawbridge was lowered. "Please, follow me." Gawain said, walking inside.
Ruby couldn't help but marvel at just how everything looked. It was all so rustic and fantastical, and... cool.
Camelot Castle, Throne Room
Normally, Sonic would have been all up for a race. It spoke volumes to how he was feeling when he said "Maybe some other time." It shocked Sir Percival, who was kneeling alongside Kiran in respect for the King.
Merlina, meanwhile, was occupied with the puppet. The moment its gaze had shifted from the King to the Advisor, Merlina had noticed it. How it did, she couldn't tell, but she narrowed her eyes, boring her gaze into the puppet as if a silent challenge.
Sonic then chuckled at how Kiran flubbed his words. Camelot, meanwhile, was satisfied that someone was finally showing the King the respect he deserved. "Please, Sonic is fine... though call me King Sonic in public, got an image to keep up. I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can."
Camelot Castle, Serena's Room
"Yeah, they're my companions." Serena said. "And... sure!" Delphox walked over towards Artemis with a happy look on its face. It clearly enjoyed being in the presence of the goddess.
Mountainside
"Samus?"
Lucina and Robin looked at each other hopefully. "Not Samus Aran, by any chance?" Lucina asked.
"Another friend of yours?" Lora wondered.
"We met her in the same tournament as Captain Falcon. She was one of the original twelve participants." Robin explained.
The Wilds, The Tundra
The Nomad shrugged before nodding, moving back to show her the assembled Cartoon Rescue Club as they recovered from their fall.
As the Nomad moved back, however, a crunch was heard underneath his feet.
The Nomad jumped back in surprise, looking to try and find what he stepped on. He moved his hand down to try and pick something up.
He lifted a human skull out of the snow.
The Nomad dropped it instantly, his eyes widening as he scrambled back.
Goldenwalk Business District
"Sounds like a plan." Scorpio nodded. "The scorpion drones are yours to command, Cecil. I'm keeping you in charge of this operation. Meanwhile, I'm going to do some hunting..."
Scorpio turned to Flowey. "You. Plant. You're with me."
Goldenwalk Streets
Nathan knew he had little hope of chasing down that leader, but he decided to do so anyways. He managed to grab a motorcycle off the street, mentally promising to return it later, as he drove off. Alpha constantly fed him information, making predictions which way the boss would head.
When Nathan turned into an alleyway, he chuckled as he found X with the boss implanted into the wall.
"He's still alive!" X justified himself.
Goldenwalk Sewers
Y was down. There was no questioning that. She wasn't responding, and remained motionless.
But to those with specialized enough hearing... a faint whirring came from her chest.
Ultra Space
Suddenly, Olympus II appeared in the middle of the vast space. As it opened up, Malos, Dracula and Cooler all strode out.
"So, why's our fearless leader staying behind?" Malos asked.
"He is busy." Dracula replied simply. "He assured me he will join us upon the completion of his own task."
Zan Partizanne and Neo followed, both with their weapons drawn. "So... what's our task here?" Zan asked.
"There's apparently some thing called Necrozma here. Z wants it." Malos explained.
"Just one creature?" Cooler chuckled. "How hard of an opponent can one single creature be?"
“Walk the plank? Darling, pirates are supposed to be cunning and ingenuitive. Walking the plank is criminally overplayed, I would know, I’m a criminal psychologist.” The Contessa out a clawed hand on her hip. “It’s also rude to talk on the phone when in the precense of someone of a guest, what could be so important?”
Contessa’s soldiers were outnumbered by the crew of the ship, but they had the quality advantage. Each soldier equipped with double the amount of armor than standard, as well as armed to the teeth with weapons and equipment. Even still, it wasn’t comforting. Especially for C, as Contessa actively instigated the enemy. A bead of sweat fell down his cheek as this went on. Contessa raises a lone brow towards Risky, an amused expression on her face.
Name: Rex Raptor
Location: Cliff
Rex, after cursing out a running Bison, got up and dusted himself off. Not only did this place have wildlife...but it also had a chilling bite to it. He shivered as the cold was a change of pace from the heated Warzone. I HATE ice! Ice and snow...out of the age of the dinosaurs and in with the age of the dumb cavemen!
Rex was beginning to hate this little detour. At least in Domino city he wouldn’t blow up or freeze to death. Sure there was the rare shadow game here and there but otherwise okay. And weevil. Weevil was a negative.
He found Erza, next to Keda the Caveman, of course he was here. He sighed, pulling his beanie down to cover more surface area and walked toward them, shielding his face from the cold winds.
“Of course YOU are here. What are y’a doing? Praying to the rock gods or something?”
Alina followed the group through the sewers. Behind her was the contraption made of darkness that she was using to haul Y around with. Meanwhile, Koji was above ground with Priscilla and the others. He listened silently, the feeling that they were only in for more trouble strong.
Maxwell
Maxwell’s eyes narrowed as one annoyance happened after another- first, his attack had been blocked, then that bothersome hedgehog had busted in, than someone else from this girl’s group of idiots had hopped through his wall, and just when it looked like he’d be forced to shed more than one person’s blood…
The two neanderthals vanished without a trace, before a purple barrier appeared outside the wall… interesting. An unseen force didn’t want anyone meddling. That was good news, to say the least. Now he could focus on his true target.
The girl began to talk to him about how she used to have a notebook like his, but he wasn’t buying it. It’s not like his notebook was sold at every other bookstore. Not just anyone could acquire one.
The way she spoke was gentle and kind- as if she were really interested in idle conversation. She spoke with… sincerity. That was the same way Lily had always spoken. He suddenly had a very powerful urge to finish what he’d started.
A small chunk of metal rose from the ground, morphing into a small sphere. In a sudden palm thrust, Maxwell commanded the sphere to attack. Frisk didn’t notice the small object until it clunked against her forehead. It was harmless, really, but still hurt a bit.
Frisk didn’t notice right away, but as the marble fell to the ground, a portion of the ceiling began to squirm above her. With the power of his adjective, he commanded the metal to fall toward where Frisk was standing.
She looked up just in time to see it falling toward her.
Maxwell’sMinions
Just as quickly as Blaze had made the flames vanish, one of the Hellhound’s three heads opened its jaws wide in reaction to the new column of flames produced by its foe. The fire was absorbed in a vacuum-like manner. It was unsurprising that a beast from Hell itself had countermeasures to fire, yet it didn’t appear that this tactic was without consequence, as the Hellhound’s rightmost head began to cough. The middle head then roared at Blaze threateningly.
As this happened, the wolf bounded past the fighting toward a different entity- the cyclops. It groaned from the previous attacks unleashed on it, not making any attempt to stand. The wolf walked over to its fallen ally, lightly nudging the cyclops’s bicep with its nose. There was no reaction, aside from another groan. The wolf made a whining sound, before looking up and growling viciously. The tiger, too, seemed angered, both having their sights set on Jet.
Nanashi
Forest
“You’re interested in demons too, then? Just as that Sam guy was. Your boss, Negan, seemed pretty interested in them too…”
He tapped at his smartphone a bit, before it made an extended ‘whiiiir’ noise. Suddenly, a brilliant beam of white energy erupted from the charging port, morphing into the shape of a bird. It wasn’t long before the majestic light faded, and in its place stood Suparna- a tall, bird-like monster who’s attire would suggest it to be a descendent of royalty.
“You dare call upon me twice in one day?!” Suparna shrieked at Nanashi. “I shall expect three human sacrifices by the day’s end!”
“Cut the games, Suparna, we’ve got company,” Nanashi replied, glancing at Azula. The bird-like demon’s head turned, before it clucked.
“Oh dear! I was unaware. That human sacrifice thing was just a joke, I assure you!” the demon told Azula.
CalamityGanon
Still in his boar form, and with Lancer now past his esophagus, Calamity Ganon looked up and sniffed the air as he ran. A massive fireball suddenly struck a nearby tree, under Ganon’s control. Luckily for everyone and everything within the forest, the tree tipped toward the nearby water, rather than the remaining trees. It was extinguished upon hitting the water.
He had half a mind to burn down the remainder of the forest, but he was already on the run. There was life nearby. Life he intended to destroy.
Noah
“Excuse me? Do you take me for a fool? I didn’t ask to be locked up in here!” Noah stated, back turned to the stranger. When he did turn, however, he nearly gasped in surprise. That boy… something felt strange about him- or perhaps familiar was a better description? Regardless, he was a new face, and perhaps… wait, was he intended to be an ally? He did appear to be the classic laid-back deuteragonist, so it was a possibility.
“I demand your name, stranger,” Noah said sternly, his bad mood very noticable.
Star-Lord
Mansion
“W-What?” Peter rubbed his eyed as a strange man appeared, speaking… well, utter nonsense. Was it a spell? Was Peter cursed?
He gathered his mind, and took a deep breath. He hadn’t a clue what this person was attempting to tell him. He spoke with a great sense of intellect. He appeared to know what he was talking about, but that wasn’t exactly a good sign. Drax enjoyed talking about things he knew, but an overwhelming majority of the things he said made him seem like a complete lunatic.
“I-I am so sorry about your vase, but, uh…” Peter swallowed “I’m sorry… c-could you repeat?”
“Oh sure little buddy, i’m belowski.” Belowski gave a half eyed smile. “And who might this little song bird be?”
Referring to the state that Noah was caged very similarly to a bird. Belowski couldn’t help but notice the Noah was stressed out, his body right as if to defend himself or to lash out.
“You gotta learn to chill dude. Ain’t nothing bad gonna happen, earth will be here tomorrow bro. Ease up and go with the floooow~”
Belowski draped himself on the bars in a lazy fashion, his duel disk equipped arms clanking as they contacted the bars.
Lancelot was taken a bit by surprise to Caulifla's question, wondering if she could even learn how to harness Chaos energy.
He braced for impact as Caulifla came in close, only to find that there was nothing there.
Then he was blown back.
"Invisible energy?" he thought, catching himself by burrowing his sword into the ground. "No matter."
"Chaos Punishment!" Lancelot glowed red, his sword's blade shimmering.
He vanished in an instant, appearing directly in front of Caulifla.
Lancelot brought his sword down, in attempt to slash at her with a Chaos-powered blade.
Jet
True Lab
Jet turned around, looking towards the other two monsters.
"Take care of the three-headed bastard. I'll take the other two," he said to the two bipedal animals.
He took a knee, bending his armor once more. Time slowed down for him.
"What's my easiest option here," he thought. Thinking to himself, his eyes widened.
"Heh," he muttered, looking at his two opponents. "I never even got to show this to my teammates back home. Lucky you."
The wolf and tiger looked at him, angry, yet interested.
The ninja-in-training walked forward, as his enemies prepared themselves.
"Don't blink," he told them, jumping forward and landing on his hand.
Now upside down, Jet cycled his feet. Riding the momentum, he began gaining speed.
Spinning faster and faster, the momentum carried him in a continuing helicopter kick.
One might remark that this display looked almost akin to breakdancing; his allies behind him might have related that to someone they knew, like a certain blue hedgehog who adapted this art to his own unique fighting style.
Growing impatient, the tiger stepped forward. However, he stopped.
Raw, pure elemental energy began to gather around the spinning Jet, orbiting around him in the form of angled light, as if the energy itself was crystalized.
This power began to gather around him. He looked up, hoping Gaster was watching.
More energy began to orbit his spinning body.
"FEAST YOUR EYES ON THIS!!!" he cried, talking to Gaster and his opponents, hoping Maxwell was watching too.
As energy built up in his core, he focused his spinning, balancing his weight and power throughout his entire body. In one go, he released it all at once, halting his own spin.
"NINJAGO!!!"
The energy held itself together, swirling around Jet in a tornado of raw, elemental power. Shards of crystals swirled with the storm, the entire thing glowing a bright teal color, filling the dark lab. The energy itself was sharp, like a thousand knives made of liquid.
Within the spiraling tornado, a faint figure could be made out.
The silhouette inside smiled, now floating in one position within the storm.
Jet smiled, drawing his sword. Energy from the blade merged with the spinning power in the tornado, making the energy sharper as it curled around Jet's body.
"What do you think?" he asked his opponents, his left eye blazing in the swirling power. "It's a martial art where I come from."
He grinned a smile that couldn't be seen. "It's called Spinjitzu."
The tiger still paced towards him.
Jet sighed. "Guess I'll have to teach you a lesson the hard way."
"FINE..."
"BY..." He leaned back, and the tornado did with him.
"ME!" Jet surged forward, surrounded by the spinning energy.
He dashed towards the wild cat, the tornado actually pushing off of the ground at the last second so that it "jumped" over the tiger.
Jet sped towards the wall, the Spinjitzu gaining enough momentum so that it could ride around it sideways.
Whirling back around, the tornado went up the wall, across the roof, down the other wall, in a complete helix turning towards the tiger's backside, with it all happening in a second.
Spinning at over three hundred miles an hour, the tornado slammed into the tiger at full force. The feline slammed into the wall, falling. Jet ceased the Spinjitzu, looking at the tiger.
*Check
*The tiger has been knocked out from the impact...
...it's still alive. What will you do now?
FIGHT
MERCY
Sighing, Jet pressed the MERCY button.
>*Spare
*Flee
*YOU WON!
*You got 0 exp. and 0 GOLD.
*Don't forget about the other one.
Jet turned, facing the growling wolf
He grinned, cracking his knuckles.
"Sorry Frisk," he muttered, not really sorry. "But I can't exactly not hurt them now."
He jumped, spinning midair.
It felt strange for the werewolf to act civil around people she wanted to kill and tear apart as she merely watched Akame and Bakugou, catching the hint of tension coming from Bakugou while watching. The cry did not go unnoticed by the werewolf as she looked in the direction it came from as well, wanting to take off running towards it to see who or what it was, mostly to kill if it was someone in distress. However, she did not move nor make any attempt to run, wanting to wait and see what her two "companions" would do next, letting out an impatient growl as her attention reverted to Bakugou and Akame.
She could not speak, so communicating was to be difficult for the time being, but she understood human language so it would not be too difficult for her.
Frisk, Alphys, Gaster
True Lab
Frisk looked up to see the roof about to cave in on her- thanks to Maxwell's recent power. She was quick to make a simple leap back, avoiding the attack entirely, but not before scooping up the marble. It was essentially useless, but it would be a fun item to play with if and when she got bored.
The girl studied Maxwell for a brief moment. Despite his nigh emotionless face, he betrayed some feeling when she spoke. She was breaking him. He could still be saved. Anybody could be with enough love, care, and compassion.
Anybody.
*You tell Maxwell you can help him.
*There doesn't need to be fighting.
*Any conflict can be solved with enough mercy.
*You tell Maxwell that you don't know him.
*But that doesn't matter.
*You still care about him, anyway.
*You want to help.
Ah, yes. The pacifist child. She hides many dark secrets- none are hidden from me, however, as I am all knowing and all seeing. That is why I exist. To observe, and fix. I've actually had to repair her timelines several times due to an instability in the time-space continuum. I am glad to see she's trying to stay good this time around, however. She was always such a sweet girl when she wasn't murdering everybody.
Ant Man, Hank Pym
Alleyway
Just as Hope made her request, the Porcupine was sent flying, turning head over heels, and crashing through a third-story window as the van enlarged, showing Hank at the wheel while Scott grinned blankly at Hope from the passenger seat. "Get in, quick." Hank barked as he stuck his head out the window to see that the Porcupine wasn't yet returning.
Something that the group as a whole failed to notice was the blue crystal that had appeared in the alleyway beneath them.
The Ant Man would be useless without his partners- namely Hank Pym, the creator of the suit, and the original Ant. Scott Lang isn't completely useless, however. All three could serve a purpose, so I've redirected a particular convergence device typically utilized by Zeliyis in order to bring these beings into the next realm. I do believe there's a few characters who could use a little help.
Rick Grimes
Fenrir Far East Branch
Rick advanced toward his aide, and accepted the God Arc replica. This thing was massive! It would undoubtedly hinder his maneuverability. He'd feel much more comfortable with something the size of... a hatchet. Hatchets were super useful. He looked up at Tsubaki as she asked her question. "Uh, yeah..." Rick replied, frowning down at his God Arc replica, before looking back up at the woman. "This the smallest size you got?" He asked.
A surprising addition, but seeing where he is, the survivor may yet survive the horrors to come. He couldn't possibly comprehend just exactly what he's in for- but he'll survive.
Sans, Snake, SG-1
Camelot Town
Daniel seemed satisfied with the answer he got as he fell back into his group of the other SG-1 members, clearly mulling over what he'd been told, processing it in his head. "Sounds like Goa'uld tech." Jack stated, glancing at Daniel. "This... 'Scabbard of Excalibur'. Sounds like something the Goa'uld would make."
"I do not possess knowledge of an item as such." Teal'c stated, his arms folded behind his back as he walked at the rear of the group. "Therefore, I am doubtful the Scabbard of Excalibur is of Goa'uld origin.
"I was trying to make a joke." Jack replied with exasperation, turning to look at Teal'c, walking backward. "You know? Because the Goa'uld are soulless. You... ah, forget it." Jack turned back around, forgoing an explanation of his attempt at a joke. "Ha." Teal'c said in all seriousness in an attempt to appeal Jack.
"Well, I thought it was funny, sir." Samantha told O'Neill, who turned his head to look at her. "Yeah?" He asked. She gave him a nod, and he looked back forward. "Would have appreciated it more if you laughed when I said, Captain." He stated, receiving another serious 'Ha' from Teal'c behind them, who looked over at Snake, raising an eyebrow.
The soldier kept his eyes forward as the group entered the castle. However, a low hum in his throat could be heard as he verbally reacted to everything he saw with faint 'hmm's, 'huh's, and 'oh's.
Sans, meanwhile, had resorted to his more lax state- if that was even possible -and was walking in the center of the group with his eyes closed. Despite the apparent lack of eyesight in the given situation, he walked forward just fine.
The group that gathered. The explorers are another odd addition made by Zeliyis. One would have assumed they'd be useless, and thus far, they've failed to make an impact. Perhaps the cast has become far too convoluted at this point for them to stand out, anyway.
The soldier. I don't have much to say about him. I understand the fate that awaits this poor soul.
And the skeleton. He's normally fairly interesting, complete with a long list of witty puns to spew out. This journey appears to have sapped him of this, however. He's taken on a far more serious persona. Perhaps its because he understands what's at stake? Of course he does. I would know, for my Omniscient mind can bear all information.
Bro
Throne Room
Bro wasn't disheartened by Sonic's race rejection, however. As Sonic addressed Kiran, Bro set Cal down on the ground, and folded his arms, a smirk tugging at his lips. "That's okay, Blue Blur." He spoke loudly. "I'd have beaten you anyway. Best keep your win-streak untainted, right?" He let out a chuckle as he attempted to patronize Sonic. "I mean, losing to just a normal guy who likes puppets? Sheesh- that'd be embarrassing."
As Bro spoke, Cal continued to stare back at Merlina, who remained confident in herself, but was unaware of what could possibly be happening to her. Her prolonged eye-contact with the ventriloquist dummy began to take side-effects. "Over here." She could hear a whisper, just inches from her left ear, but there was nobody there, and she'd been the only being in that room to hear it. The words were quickly followed by; "Merlina." In her right ear. "What are you doing?"
"Why subject yourself to this?"
"You're so much more."
"You deserve absolute authority."
"Absolute power."
"Absolute dominion."
"Absolute respect."
"Absolute rule."
These next few voices overlapped each other as they went on. Any more exposure in eye-contact with Lil' Cal... who knew what it would bring, but it became obvious to the descendant of Merlin that Lil' Cal was the source of these attempts at manipulation... somehow.
Ah. Bro. He's merely a tool for the vessel. I'd best refrain from talking much about him, however.
Artemis
Serena's Room
Artemis was quick to begin showing the Delphox attention, running her fingers through the silky fur, gently rubbing the Pokemon behind its ears, etc. She looked at Serena as she did this, and spoke;
"Your world seems like a very nice place, Serena." She said. "If ever given the chance, I would love to visit it sometime."
Not to mention a break from her world was exactly what she'd needed. The duties she performed, the prayers she answered, the political conflicts she fought... It was annoying, frustrating, and grated on her nerves. Regardless of major annoyances like the males out and about, Artemis was simply glad to be free of responsibilities for the time being. A break was always appreciated, and she hadn't had one in over a thousand years.
Artemis. Pulled straight out of the pages of Greek Mythology, and thrust into a situation that was originally against her. Her future isn't very bright, but as for her- oh, come now. I shouldn't spoil this.
Chara
Goldenwalk Business District
Chara's smile never disappeared as the others spoke, but when Scorpio had commanded Asriel to be with him, Chara's attention quickly snapped to Scorpio. "No." She said simply, unaware of his position and power, and frankly uncaring of it. "Asriel stays with me. Consider it a packaged deal- I won't be leaving him alone." She cocked her head slightly to the side. "You wouldn't have a problem with that, of course."
The last bit hadn't been a question. More of a... patronizing statement. Anybody uncomfortable with being treated lesser than they felt they deserved would undoubtedly be annoyed- or even upset -with her words.
Her eye-contact never wavered as she stared at Scorpio, her red eyes never blinking.
The genocidal child. She has an insatiable bloodlust, and outranks most of those around her in terms of raw power. I am disappointed she's involved in this conflict. On the antagonistic side, none the less. She will surely be a large obstacle for any who defy her will. Her time will come, though.
Doc Scratch, Vriska
English Manor "No, actually. I'd rather refrain from making my sentences repetitive with the curse of replicating something already done. New words, new meanings, they really are wonderful things. Oh, and don't mind the vase. It can be replaced." The stranger folded his arms behind his back as he spoke. "There is much business to attend, and I must be completely honest with you, you're my guinea pig as of today. Don't worry, I won't be sticking any needles in you. No puncturing of the skin required for these experiments, if you will. Now that we've acquainted ourselves, Peter Quill, I will kindly request you wait here while I attend to my other guest. No need to worry, she'll be off, shortly."
With that, Doc Scratch disappeared.
Vriska tucked away her phone, and began tapping her foot impatiently. How long would this guy- Her thoughts were interrupted as the Scratch Doctor appeared before her, hands still folded behind his back. "You like pirates? Of course you do. I would know. I know all, thanks to my omniscience. How would you feel about becoming one?"
Vriska blinked, processing what he'd said, before frowning. "Wait, are you for real? Like... I love pirates!" She suddenly let out an uncharacteristically loud squeal at this, and began jumping excitedly in place. "Good. Then you'll have no trouble making friends. All I need from you is to wait there until I need you. Somewhere more predictable than your universe. Point is; I need you alive."
With that, Vriska disappeared.
------------
Vriska appeared at the front starboard of Risky's Ship, facing the sea. There was an island to their right, with a mashup Renaissance and Medieval-like structures. It reminded her a lot of that one movie called; "A Pirate Named Troll Jack Sparrow Wants To Take Back The Black Pearl From Troll Barbossa Who Kicked Him Off It And Left Him To Die But It Turns Out The Black Pearl Is Cursed Because Of Stolen Treasure And Shit'. Great movie, by the way. She would recommend anybody watch it ASAP.
Her attention was pulled from it, however, by voices. Turning, she saw what appeared to be some kind of pleasure-dancer wearing a Pirate Hat. Vriska's eyes widened in excitement, and then she noticed the other most significant character there- The Spider-Lady. "Oh. My. Gog." Vriska said, grinning from ear to ear as she stared.
Ah, Vriska. She's a rather interesting character. A thirst to prove her superiority, but not for personal gain, no, but to help and save those she cares about. Competitive and a sore loser, she's not exactly somebody one wants to make an enemy with. Placing her here was by design. I'd planned it all along, as I knew this would happen. Vriska is fulfilling most of her basic desires. Her desire to play Pirate, and her desire for a Spider-Mom. Since hers is dead, she'll likely latch onto the Contessa as a replacement.
Name: Doug Duem
Location: Digital World, Digital City
“Attention everyone...”
A female voice spoke. Cecelia, leader of the Blue Falcon Guard team. She was one of three leaders of the human colony on the digital world, and she addressed a crowd of fellow Blue Falcon recruits and guard members. She, dressed in her wool jacket and engineer’s hat stood before rows and rows of the members, an important meeting taking place. Digimon and tamers of all shapes and sizes were in the crowd. Agumon, Drimogemon, Patamon, even the likes of Demidevimonz
“You are called here today because there is a substantial threat of great concern. One that could threat our colony as we know it.”
Cecelia gestured toward a crystal that she held in her left gloves hand. Due to the glove, she wasn’t teleported due to the effects. The crowd oogled at The shimmering gem.
“Dimensional energy is at work. Last time that was in play, a grave threat known as milleniummon nearly vanquished all of reality as we know it. Now I don’t know what exactly we are dealing with as of yet. But believe me, I and the rest of our leaders WILL get to the bottom of this! Rest assured, now more than ever we need the lot of you to be Bright, Vigilant, and-“
“I’m here!!!”
Suddenly, rushing into the Hall came the figure of Doug Duem, and his partner Numemon. They scrambled inside, already missing nearly the entire briefing by the time he had arrived. He skid to a stop, breathing heavily while Numemon slithered right next to him. The crowd looked his way, some smirking and others shaking their heads.
“...punctual...” Cecilia finished her sentence, blinking at Doug. “Mr. Duem, you are late.”
“Sorry Ms Cecilia!” Doug gave a swift bow. “Please demote me! I need to be punished!”
Numemon was taken aback by Doug’s far to eager nature to get punished for his shortcomings.
“Speak for yourself! I ain’t goin’ back in the picking room!” Numemon retorted. “Ever been the only Numemon in a Digi partner pickin’ Room? Dark times! Dark times!!”
Cecilia closed her eyes, shaking her head with a small, whiskfull smile, as if remembering her own days of youth. “Alright, everyone scatter, we need to find the other signatures for these anomalies! As for you Doug...speak to me for a minute. As for the rest of you...Dismissed!”
Everyone saluted, saying their ‘yes sir’s’. A large amount of them had already poured out of the room in search for the fabled crystals, while some remained, most notably an black haired tamer with a Piddomon as his partner. Mark Schultz.
“Looks like somebody’s going to get punished today.” Mark snickered. “Maybe if it weren’t for your disgusting partner, you would actually make a good tamer...!”
Doug was instantly offended by the statement. “Take that back! Numemon is the best partner a man could ask for! He’s shown determination and hard work! You wouldn’t understand that, as your and your partner were born at the top!”
Piddomon Aimed his staff down at Doug and Numemon. “Shall I make them see our point of view sir?”
“No, not today anyway.” Mark chuckled, turning his back to Doug. “See y’a, slug lover.”
Mark turned and left the room, Piddomon floating defensively with him. Doug clenched his fists tight together. He’d show him. One day. They would surpass Schultz. The lazy tamer skipped out on every duty simply because he had a strong partner and influence in the ranks. That would all change once Doug and his partnerake it to the top! He just knew it!
Numemon squinted at Mark as he left. “Y’a know. Times like these makes me want to lift the ban off of my special attack.”
Doug gawked. “You wouldn’t dare! We talked about this!”
“I know I know, ‘not proper’ and all that Jazz. Bleh.” Numemon rolled his large eyes. “But what if I REALLY want to?”
Doug gave him a determined look, which is all that numemon needed to see in order to give up. “...Fine whatever...”
“Ahem."
Cecelia cleared her throat, still waiting for Doug to come see her as she had requested a short time ago. Doug and Numemon exchanged looks of worry as they walked sheepishly towards the Guard team master. Doug standing straight to attention while Numemon put an arm on his non-existing sludge like hip.
Name: Hiro, Kale & Keyblade Trinity Squadron
Location: Specter's Ship/Clockwerk
"It is exactly what we mean. Don't let this bias for her you seem to have blind you, look at her." The leader of the Keyblade trio urged to Specter as each of them could plainly see this power....this fury, that the girl named Kale seemed to posses was problematic. While she might dispose of this slayer.....there had been no means to assure that she'd simply stop with him while her temper flared along with that ever growing presence.
Though as this comment was made, a subtle glow began to shine among the trio's Keyblades, the two who had not addressed Specter glanced at each other with a subtle nod. The time soon approached, the beacon had been lit...
-----
Kale growled even as her blow successfully drove Doomslayer through the wall as she walked with methodical purpose through the hole as she aimed to grasp his left ankle while her teeth grit.
"Come on, where is that malice you showed them!?" Kale roared, referring to the holographic apes that she had yet to realize were that. Or perhaps in her rage-twisted mindset she lacked capacity to care of that detail before she tried to lift his body up. Kale's attempt would be brutal & simplistic, as she would try to slam him towards the hard floor again and again and again to try to make the demon slayer her personal ragdoll to vent her fury upon all the more and thrash about to bash every square inch of his body.
-----
"WIND!"
Hiro's eyes had widened in response to Clockwerk's advances, as any satisfaction or sense of achievement he may have felt with removing one of Clockwerk's plate had shattered when the mechanical demon unleashed a barrage of missiles that seemed to reign down from the sky; as if it had been raining only with death instead of rain drops.
Hiro quickly shot into the air, powered by pixie dust flight, as he soared towards the missiles. Unlike before, where he generated a cyclone barrier around himself to shield from attacks and pull air toward him, this time he reversed the current to push the air away from his body. He hoped to use this counter current to divert the missiles path so that they would just miss him as he made an air pocket through the sea of projectiles as they reigned down around him while he turned back to Clockwerk. Hiro figured the missiles would do nothing to that metalic hide, but if he acted quickly he might have a method to deal with it using these missiles against him.
"THUNDER!"
In spite of the fatigue and strain it placed upon him, Hiro aimed his Keyblade down as he fired powerful bolts of lightning towards Clockwerk's metalic hide. Nothing he had done had caused any significant damage....or any at all, but when that lightning dropped down to slam into the armor it created these spacings; gaps between them which had granted Hiro an opening. That had been his guess, as nothing he did worked, so maybe if he tried an electric strike he could make more gaps and allows the missiles that Clockwerk carelessly reigned down in the aim to overwhelm him to be used to blast between the gaps to fry him.
This needed to work, this had to work!
------------ Name: Dipper, Erza, Finn & Jake, Raven, Star
Location: Tundra
"Cool~!" Both Jake and Finn called out, as the site of the skull had been a bit less disturbing to them compared to Nomad's more natural reaction as they quickly moved to inspect it. Dipper let out an audible gasp, not a cry....certainly not an unmanly squeak in response. No sir....
"Well....that guy had a bad day. What do you think happened?" Star said with her captain obvious statement of the day as she asked the group though why she assumed any of them would know was a mystery. Raven glanced with her typically relaxed expression before she faced Star.
"No idea, but whatever happened it seemed to have happened a while ago. Meaning this place has likely been abandoned for some time." Raven said, more of a guess but based on the skeleton one she made on a firm educated base.
------ Wack!
Erza would aim to cut off Rex's rather uninformed remark about what Keda had been doing with a sharp elbow aimed for his side. Nothing too hard, but firm enough for him to get the idea as she gave one disapproving glare before she turned her attention back to Keda as he mentioned of the coming winter and quickly she took command as she stood up to face Rex.
"Well, seems we'll need to scale down to find some shelter. We should scan the area here quickly in case anyone else is with us, but we cannot linger for long. If this winter is as bad as you say we must hurry." Erza replied as she outlined the basic plan to both Keda & Rex and trusted Keda's word on the cave as she was prepared to scale down.
------------ Name: Azula, Caulifla & Yang
Location: Camelot
As Yang followed her sister inside, she took note of how Ruby marveled at the medieval fortress which had admittedly been impressive as she had a grin of her own. More happy to see more of her own sister again now that things no longer had grown hectic as she let out a whistle.
"Man, this place is pretty fancy. I can see the king really is going for the royal treatment. Are we allowed to explore this place once we meet the king?" Yang asked Sir Gawain as naturally she could sense Ruby's desire and figured it'd be a good way to spend time once they had gotten the formal meeting.
-----
"Gah!" Caulifla called out as she quickly gathered ki around her hands as a coating as they came together just in time to catch Lancelot's sword before it could be driven into her skull. Though barley, as she struggled to keep the sword back and nearly had been forced to a knee.
"D-damn....you really need to show me that move. But don't think I'll go down so easily!" Caulifla called out as she worked to push back against Lancelot to get to a standing position, and as she grit her teeth she worked to deliver a kick in the hopes she could deliver a forceful blow and knock Lancelot back once more to gain distance.
------
"It's....fine, things can be a bit tense at times given the situation. Azula." Azula said, as the momentary flash of light she shielded herself from revealed a striking and rather curious creature in her view. One that offered a demand for human sacrifices but offered an apology to save face once she realized she was in the presence of another human.
"I must say, someone with such talents as yourself able to call fourth these amazing creatures is quite the value in a team. Shame that Negan left you on guard duty as it feels like a waste if I had to give my view." Azula replied, with what sounded like a believable and genuine tone as she slid in that thought for Nanashi to consider as she already sensed he desired for more than just to lounge around at camp.
------------ Name: Toph & Lucario
Location: Goldenwalk City
Toph's ears twitched, due to her blind condition not only had she developed a strong seismic sense but all of her other senses had been heightened in order to try and close the gap left by her biological handicap. She was no Logan, but she had been sharp enough to hear the faint whirring sounds that seemed to trace back to Y as she glanced back that direction.
"Um....anyone else hear that? I think Y's body is making noises...." Toph said as she wanted to bring the attention of what she heard from Y to the others.
------------ Name: Ogremon
Location: Tokyo, Japan (Tamers Universe)
As a collective kind Ogremon prided themselves on being proud warriors who handled the toughest of conditions with open arms and a boastful about being able to endure any situation.
Which made the presence of one, secluded and hidden in some crudely designed tree-house a bit curious.
Ogremon simply sat, held in his large palm was a lone Digivice with an Aqua-Blue color design. But the beauty of the design clashed with the static that appeared on screen, a reflection of the fact it was dead; the lifeless nature of it a good reflection for how Ogremon felt at the moment in spite of his attempts to mask those feelings. No matter what he did, his mind always took him back to that moment, that cursed moment....
You're finished! Black Wing!
"Ogremon run!"
"K-kid get back!"
Ogremon clutched the Digivice in his hand, the pain and guilt surfaced once more; it should have been him. He was a warrior! He was supposed to die at the hands of his opponent, he got beat....but that dumb kid just had to get in the way. He still failed to understand why, the kid shouldn't have bothered with his affairs, it was his fight not hers!
And yet here he sat, alive as he dwelled this over while she....he shook his head to avoid the thought. A useless gesture to be sure, as in spite of his mental gymnastics to place sole blame on that witch or outside circumstance the guilt ate him up. Something needed to be done, he could not change what happened but he could not sit and mope around either. As he glanced by a small table that had been used for drinks and snacks, as he spoke from experience, he saw her deck of cards just sitting there which along with her Digivice in hand inspired him to act as he stood up.
"I....I didn't do anything but make things worse for you kid. The least I can do now is try to make things right. This one act won't make up for anything, but you deserve a proper passing if nothing else...."
Given that neither Akame or the werewolf replied to Bakugou's comment, or if they did it had been too subtle for his notice, he simply scowled a bit ahead in the direction of Midoriya's cry and moved on ahead with no regard for either Akame or the werewolf as he cared little if they followed him.
Akame let out a sigh, he seemed like the headstrong type. Filled with pride and natural confidence, the type who tended to die first in situations like this as she began to follow him but stopped to glance back at the werewolf.
"I think we should follow. Strength in numbers, stay close." Akame advised, as she showed no fear of the girl in both her expression and tone as she had dealt with worse than the werewolf in her career as an assassin and those harder to work with.
Whether this Bakugou counted as the latter remained to be seen.
"Well, this has been an eventful conversation." Gilgamesh mused as he had grown quite bored of this, he felt nothing of importance or interest had been mentioned and he felt this dragged on for an eternity. Granted, Gilgamesh found anything that had not been pure combat to be a chore so his comments had been taken by a grain of salt with Kyuseishu, who simply materialized a white card out of thin air and tossed it in the direction of the dark lord.
"Ignoring his whining, I appreciated this time you granted us. I believe that we can be of service and aid each other, I do sense many enemies you may face and it would be less than desirable to bare the burden alone. My card, if you wish to get in contact with us once more simple press your thumb over the symbol at the center and I should get the signal." Kyuseishu, as the white card had this curious light blue hexagon design in the center as a portal soon opened up behind him and Gilgamesh. The two began to make their way to said portal, as Gilgamesh passed through it and Kyuseishu turned back to the shadow figure and gave a respectful nod.
"Best wishes. Hope we can find a amiable relationship."

Name: Kyuseishu & Gilgamesh
Location: Warzone
Soon enough, the portal that the two passed through opened up on the remains of what had been a literal warzone in the Marseilles Outskirts. Fresh corpses, both of Coalition but especially Soviet troops alike, littered the battlefield. Gilgamesh passed a glance around the bodies and torn apart weapons of the former war as he let out an audible whistle while a sadistic grin had been plastered on his face.
"Man, what chaos. Seems we just missed the fun. Shame too, given the lack of stench of rotting flesh this happened recently." Gilgamesh mused, as he seemed upset he had not been present for the battle though Kyuseishu showed a lack of interest. Minus the fact that indeed the corpses seemed fresh, which was all he cared for as he raised his Keyblade which soon began to glow.
"Time Passage, Reverse Axis."
A magic circle generated around Kyuseishu, then began to expand outwards and soon enough had surrounded the battlefield. Within moments, time began to figuratively rewind within this circle; as the bodies and wounds of the previously fallen soldiers; this healing spell in truth simply aged back their bodies to conditions prior to when they met their ends. Anything within a twelve hour, or twelve stroke, limit was usable for such a spell. Though in this case it appeared to be but five minutes. It would work to restore their bodies and bring life back into them....though not much, as the soldiers who began to spring to life found themselves completely drained and weak. The effect would only last the duration of the time they had been dead for so they lived on borrowed time. In this case, a short amount.
Which was all the time he needed.
As the soldiers began to rise from the dead as if it never happened, naturally confused and disoriented about what happened Kyuseishu had quickly went back to work and began to recite an incantation to himself.
Under the guidance of Light I ask of thee,
Answer the call of one who follows the sacred creed.
Come fourth and display your unrivaled might,
Come and claim pure essence to your heart's delight!
Heart of my Keyblade, oh Sacred Collector. Stand by my side and take one more step towards divine rebirth!
Soon, a powerful beam of light shot from the tip of his Keyblade to the sky, which caused the area to shine brightly as the soldiers looked on in both wonder and equal confusion. The light expanded as it soared in the air, becoming practically a beacon of light that dispersed the storm clouds that had lingered back from what Kale summoned across the city as the area seemed to radiate. Soon enough, a sight beyond the comprehension of most appeared in the form of a giant angel; a literal one with paled skin, large feathered wings a flowing white dress and long blonde hair. Her eyes, curiously, had been covered by bandages and she held her hands in a clasped position. One of prayer.
Though any sense that this angel would be one of docile nature seemed to shatter, as once the angels opened her arms out from the finished prayer, dozens....no hundreds of hooks of light shot from her being and flew across the battlefield. As each one struck each and every single soldier it could find that had just been revived as soon the field was greeted with an orchestra of screams of panic, terror and agony which caused Gilgamesh to grin a bit as Kyuseishu stepped forward.
"Gentlemen, there is no reason to worry. The pain will be but momentary as your essence will be collected into a state of eternal bliss. Used for a higher purpose and the benefit of all worlds, and your sacrifice will not go to waste. As your lingered remnants will be used to take up the fight, a fight that will help make a grand world for all rather than such pointless slaughter as you have come to foolishly accept as reality. So rest easy, embrace your destiny and allow your essence to be an offering to the divine light!" Kyuseishu called out as many essences, the soul and very being of an individual, were pulled one by one from the bodies of the revived Soviets and pulled up to the angel to become absorbed into the collective entity while they laid on the ground hollowed husks. Gilgamesh had a chuckle.
I'm not sure whether he believes he can delude people into thinking this soul sucking is "pure" or if he himself is deluded. But so long as he makes things interesting for me I have no reason to complain. And I haven't been let down yet....so keep at it oh great "Savior."
As the bodies left on the ground began to pile up the field, they began to transform. In this bizarre state of not-death but stripped of their essence, they began to change. Contort and transform into these paled monstrosities known as Forsaken. And slowly as the essence had been gathered, the former members of the fallen Soviet Army and the Coalition troops who gave their lives previously to stop them began to form one conjoined army of Kyuseishu's own command. As the process neared completion, his fox mask hid any expression one could draw from Kyuseishu though it would be assumed he was more than pleased.

"So I'm not hearing things. That's a relief." Alina said. The lioness sighed. "I don't suppose any of you would know why she's making that noise?"
Catgirl's universe
The plane landed, after which introductions were made. "This is Ali." Catgirl said gesturing to Ali. "Gao," she gestured to Gao. "Okimi." she gestured to Okimi. "and Volpa." she gestured to Volpa. "Everyone, this is Peregrine." Catgirl said, introducing the plane's pilot.
If the werewolf had been able to laugh, she would have at that moment as she reluctantly followed along. Strength in numbers only mattered if people were strong and smart enough to defend themselves against the enemy. She had seen how quick humans could fall if they were clumsy and careless enough. But, if one can learn the enemy's weakness, then they would have the advantage and prevail. Then again, even if the person knew the enemy's weakness, it would do them no good if they couldn't use it.
Although, traveling alone in an unknown area is never a smart decision to make.
She could sense Akame was intelligent and careful, having some respect for her, but she couldn't say the same for Bakugou. His bullheadedness reminded the werewolf of her two companions back home, both stubborn at times but only one of them was bullheaded. The thought alone made her wish one or both of them was here to accompany her on this strange journey. In her mind, she was certain that they had discovered something was wrong. They usually came to check on her during the full moon until it passed, meaning they would see the cabin void of her presence. However, the chances of them being dragged through a random portal were slim to none.
For now, she was stuck with Bakugou and Akame until something changed. She had to play nice, making her shudder in disgust.
Clockwerk hadn’t expected to use his own weapons against him. Combining his thunder attack with the missiles Clockwerk had previously launched. Noticing this, Clockwerk’s eyes activated, choosing lasers at most of these missiles, acting as an impressive point defense system at intercepting the warheads. A few however had broken through, hitting his exposed internals of his right wing as well as his tail feathers.
His tail had been utterly blown off of his body by the missiles, the parts disconnecting and being cast to the shield of Specter’s expansive ship below. On his right wing, several miscellaneous plates had been battered off. The feathers and solid plates had been strewn across the ship’s shields, leaving several holes that could be seen right through to the other side to where they had previously been.
...however Hiro has overlooked one important factor.
The jet black missile that had been locked into Hiro swerved around with his movements, avoiding his attacks and the missile stream. It seemed to have an A.I. Of his own! Upon coming close to Hiro, this one of a kind missile made no sounds when detonating. It made a bright flash of blue, before beaming a wide cyan disc of energy all too close to Hiro. It was a seismic charge!
Suddenly, Clockwerk’s weight combined with his battered wings and missing tail lead to a single result: drop. Clockwerk began declining rapidly, falling down with very little control of his flight. When the seismic charge activated, Clockwerk’s eyes flashed red for a single moment, outstretching his wings, riding the powerful concussive wave. Where his tail feathers used to be, a large black engine had appeared, a Burst of purple impulse erupting from it. Clockwerk screeched across the sky like a jet, now relying on the engine to keep himself in the sky.
With the newfound momentum, he shrieked towards Cutman with the sounds of banshees. His talons outstretching to snatch up and slice Hunter into bits while fear inducing figure looming over them like a vulture of death.
Name: Rex Raptor
With: Erza and Keda
Location: The wilds, Cliff
“Ow...”
Rex rubbed his chest from where Erza slightly punched him. What? Was it something he said? Who knows, maybe she pitied the poor caveman’s religion. He just shrugged and rolled his eyes, that is, until erza spoke of shelter.
“Finally! Someone said something useful. I’m freezing here!”
Name: Doug Duem
Location: Digital world: Blue Falcon HQ
“Sir!”
Doug Duem stood tall and to attention like a loyal soldier, Numemon being far more relaxed. Cecelia eyed the pair, the two now alone in the meeting hall. She sighed, beginning to pace between the left and rights of the room.
“Doug. I expect the same of you as I do with all of the tamers under my command. You need to be ready when the time arises to fight for your home, for your people. If we were under attack when you were late, your absence could have cost lives, you realize that right?”
Doug bowed. “Y-yes Sir.”
Numemon noticed his tamer bowing and rushed to mimic his movements. Still struggling with the concept of ‘proper’. Cecelia stopped pacing in front of Doug, putting a gloved hand on the boy’s shoulder, which made him jump. She gave a toothy grin.
“Chin up, your a good kid, a good heart. You make mistakes, we all do. Just learn from them, that would make you a better man and a better tamer. As my old man would say, even if you hit ever bump In the road, you’ll still make it where you want to go.”
Stars filled in Doug’s eyes as he was filled with a newfound determination. He stood up straight and erect once again, holding up a closed fist to his chest.
“I won’t let your faith in me be misplaced! That’s a promise! We will become the greatest team there is in this whole continent! They don’t call me Dynamic Doug Duem for nothing!”
“Whatever floats your boat kid.” Cecelia laughed to herself, crossing her arms. “Go on then, go train. And make sure to give it your all!”
“I will!” Doug exclaimed, saluting her. You could practically see sparkles coming from his face. He looked to Numemon. “C’mon bud, we got training to do!”
Doug turned and ran out of the door. Numemon, with a less than enthusiastic expression turned to the reader.
“Y’a know that by WE he means me, right?”
“Numemon!”
“Comin’ Boss!”
Numemon sloshed and wriggled up a pace to leave the HQ. Cecelia chuckled to herself, her partner, Marine Angemon floated out from her wool jacket.
“Pu?”
“What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good underdog story!”
“Pu...”
.......
Outside of the bounds of Digital City, there was a rocky plain, rocks and boulders scattered about. It was a popular training ground for beginning Tamers. The Net ocean’s waves crashed against the shore, Crabmon scuttling across the sands. On the border of this beach and rocky wastelands, Doug and Numemon stood, Several large rocks around them. Several tools were scattered along the ground in front of Doug, Numemon looking at each of them.
“Now for this training regiment, I think we should delve into which weapon is your strong suit. The last times we’ve been training we’re about how to use the tools. Now we get on to using them all in combat!”
“Hooray!” Numemon cheered. “I get to kill people!”
“N-no! Nothing like that!” Doug waved his hands in the air. “It’s for defense! We only attack if we have to!”
“Aww...”
“Erm now...choose one of the weapons.”
Numemon scanned across the weapons. Axes, Molotovs, grappling hooks, swords, knives, and many other kinds. He then eyed a pair of nunchucks on the ground, picking them up with one of his slimy appendages.
“Nunchuck attack!”
He charged forward towards a rock, painted to look like a veggiemon with a frowny face. He twirled the nunchucks, preparing to attack. Before he got to the rock though, Numemon his his right eye with the end of the nunchuck, stopping him completely.
“OW! ow ow ow!”
“Numemon!”
Doug was quick to jump to the scene, pulling out a bandaid from his pocket. He looked at the eye of Numemon, a red welt on it. He put the bandaid on the spot on the large eye, Numemon rubbing the spot.
“Ow...what kind of weapons. Were those?! Suicide sticks?!”
Doug Duem looked at the nunchucks, and back to a medival flail over in the pile of weapons. He whistled casually pushing it into the bushes and away from sight from Numemon.
Twilight saw Nomad's shrug and had a frown, guess he was just as clueless as she had been which did not help matters. But she had no way to make any sense of this sitting in an old house so she trotted out only to step back in response to the skull that Nomad had picked up which had understandable been a disturbing sight. The ones names Jake & Finn if she recalled role call in the previous setting had a reaction that likely would have mirrored Dash's or even Pinkie's as they scanned the corpse while she heard Raven and Star converse about it; as they assumed that this house belong to whoever this was and had been abandoned for some time.
This caused Twilight to become inspired.
"Maybe, maybe we can find something useful inside the house? Maybe this person had some record on hand, like a journal or a letter or something that might shed some light on where we are." Twilight said to the group as she figured they needed to figure out where they were and felt this might be their one chance to find something here that could help.
