Why don't you do what Myouki told me to do? She told me, "Read through some of you're manga's or graphic novels, or Comics, and get some inspiration", or something along those lines... It really didn't work for me, as I don't OWN any, but It might work for you.

Or, MY advice... Got any RP characters? Got ANY ideas for some? Sprite 'em.

yay, thank you ^^.... do you want me to upload them to my site like the other cosplayers so they don't take up space or just leave them?

btw slink_fusion, i love the first and third sprite.... though what's the second one.... is it a swellow cosplay?

You don't have to. I deleted them off My HARDRIVE already. That's why it was taking up space. You can if you want, though. I'll keep 'em on my 'Bucket anyway, just in case.

I think your Mewtwoplayer looks too much like a Galactic Grunt. For instance, he still has the logo on his chest, his sleeves still have that segmented pattern, and the dark grey spots on his shirt appear to be part of the design rather than a shadow like on the actual Mewtwo.

You did an okay job with the Mewgirl, but I think you need a harder outline between her butt and her tail. The part where it attaches to the rest of her costume is hidden behind her body in this pose, I believe. I also would've removed her hair clip rather than recoloring it. Actually, I would've used a different head altogether, but that's just me. Maybe you should rotate her, too, so she looks like she's floating.

In no way an example, today I'm submitting this Meowthgirl sprite that is also derived from the same Tuber sprite Harra used. Do note the change in prop, symbolic of the Meowth's obsession with round objects.

kk.... i'll just save them to my lappy tomorrow for savings sake (too lazy now XD)... so, any cosplay requests.... anyone? sigh.... i wish i could take a hack at espeon and umbreon, but daytime umbreon's were too pwnsome... oh well... btw, i've seen a few plusle/minun cosplays floating around (mostly done with those twin trainers though... seems cliche to me...)

and.... i think this one turned out good.... i didn't like when i did it with the altaria's head as a hat, so i just made a headband from the.... feathers/antennae? so, how does it look?

I like the pants and the shoes. I think the white tanktop should have a darker outline where the shirt meets the skin, but that's just my opinion. You could've also taken it a step further by removing the accessories, like the earrings, the bracelet, and the purse, and maybe replacing them with different props.

It looks pure white where I'm sitting... without my glasses... Anyway, it doesn't have to be straight-on black. You can probably sample some shades of grey from her eyes, or other sprites that wear white. On that note, it could probably stand some shading, too.

I added some more shading in the shirt and changed the outline and added a pokeball to her hand. How does she look?

When you are saving the file, save it as a PNG instead of whatever the default is set to. Or, you can go 'Open' the file and click on 'Save As. . .' and save it as a PNG that way. PNGs are just basically amazing like that, so I'd get used to using them more than anything.

that's what i was about to post, save with .png at the end.... so i was right ^^ yay, i though it might not work... my lappy does it automatically...

Either way is good, but when saving a sprite that you just made, then save it as PNG when you first ever save it.

I'm working on another sprite. I can't think of an outfit. I'm using the parasol girl and i've taken the parasol away and given her pokeballs, one in each hand. She's got long blonde hair. Can you give me ideas on clothing? My mind is blank.

That looks a little better, but there's still something about the near shoulder... If you have an issue darkening the shirt there, you could darker skin shades on the skin next to it.

I think that's good. I think she needs more shading in the chest, specifically on the underside of her breasts. Use the shadows to shape them, like in the sprites Myouki just posted.

The one in the pink dress looks good, though there seems to be something off about the PokeBall in her raised hand.

Ah, thanks for the critisism, ya, I'm not very good at this sort of thing, I best stick to Gaia Avatars and RPCs and stay away from the Cosplayers! >

Pokefreak, I hate to be a killjoy, but tecnically, this sprite is breaking a rule. The bottom half of your sprite was evidentally used from this - simply recolored.

Which is a sprite made by Halani; not you. Really not the kind to mini-mod; but it does say when you are picking a trainer for your Trainer Card, and I quote -

"It is prohibited to use the Custom Trainer sprites submitted to this system for any other use without prior consent of their creators."

((And to the moderators; sorry for trying to mini-mod. >_>; ))​
