Finally, its the day. The day of the Entrance Exams for the Cyllage City Culinary Arts Academy, the Top school for any blossoming chefs from all around the world. The fresh, salty air from the sea fills the air as you arrive in the City. Your first objective? Find the Academy!

This RP will be about a school for "Pokemon Chefs." Pokemon Chefs are people who cook alongside a team of Pokemon in order to make the best possible dishes. For the sake of the RP, real animals do exist in this RP, but not in the area. All meat and animal products are going to be supplied to the school from the Kanto Region, and that is where all Animals will be as well.

Once everyone gets into the Academy, all official competitions will be decided by a wheel spin. If you have a 1v1 cook off, its up to the two participants on who wins.

Name: Dom Portibel
Age (15-18 ): 17
Appearance: He is overall avarage, he is around 5'10 and has a pretty normal physical build.

Personality: He's a bit cocky, but only a healthy amount. He's also very adamant and headstrong, often pulling people around him into his own little culinary experiments on his quest to find the ultimate balance between all flavors.
Backstory: His parents own a small potato mochi restraunt in the Sinnoh Region, but as time moved on, the rich culture of making and eating Potato Mochi in the Sinnoh Region died down, so they soon moved to Kalos in order to spread the culture more. From a young age, he showed an extreme aptitude for cooking, and after he turned 10 and got his starter Pokemon, Froakie, he set off on his own journey to learn how to cook as best as he can.

Name: Derek Umbra
Age (15-18 ): 18
Appearance: tall (6'4") and very lanky.

Personality: Very cold and very serious. Takes cooking extremely seriously, and refuses to loose a cook off without a fight.
Backstory: Comes from a very well off family that has lived in the Kalos for generations. His entire lineage has specialized in cooking for generations, and now he's taking up the mantle. He's a 2nd year at CCA and is currently the top ranked student, making him one of the judges for the contests the school holds almost weekly.

Pokemon's use for cooking
Zoroark is just an overall helper, helps prepare foods move things around. It usually transforms into Derek when it does this, giving it the nickname "Dereks Phantom"
Doublade is obviously a pokemon for slicing, but it can also help with cooking and garnish
Braixen uses its psychic powers and flames to make the process easier to deal with. It often stands in the back while the others do all the cooking and helps from the sidelines.
Gourgeist is mostly for seasonings, since its seeds hold so much flavor, but it can also help when creating sauces and other things
Any Food Specialties(Desserts, Meaty dishes, Soups, etc): Dereks family has always been extremely talented at cooking beef dishes, Derek specializes in Steak.

Gah, why is it that non-battling RP's draw me in so well? Ah, who'm I to complain.

Spoiler: Maella

Name: Maella Fairlynn
Age (15-18 ): 15
Appearance: 'Mae' stands at a rather typical 4'9 for her age with sandy skin and some platinum grey contact lenses. Her pewter gray hair stays tied up in a bun most of the time, if not always. Her choice of clothing outside of the academy is a pure black blazer with a white shirt beneath it, and gray trousers and flats (with white socks) to finish the look.
Personality: From any angle, Mae is just strong but silent. She works solo besides from her Pokémon, leaving her to create fairly well presented platters of a variety of things with relative ease. Being in a group somewhat limits her talent, but Mae is too quiet and patient to mind all that much.
Backstory: Being raised just near the heart of Coumarine City, Mae has honestly known nature and greenery for most of her life. Her parents owned a small outdoors café, which Mae had begun helping on her own accord back when she was around 13. As this self induced training went on, her parents eventually gave her the café's signature Pokémon to raise for the greater good: a Chikorita and Pidove. Okay, the café actually used members of the Lotad and Skiddo line, but her father had the Chikorita as an egg so he saw no harm in breaking tradition once. Give it time, and Mae eventually applied for the Cyllage Academy looking not to expand the café, but rather increase the quality of her home business before that could happen.
Pokemon: Chikorita (Fantaisie), Tranquil (Conseils)
Pokemon's use for cooking: Fantaisie serves as an enhancer for Mae, often using her leaf to enhance the smell and overall appeal of dishes. Conseils acts as an overseer and can decorate things rather well.
Any Food Specialties: Mae is able to specialise in desserts fairly well, but can cook other things if required.

It's been a WHILE since I've done a Pokemon roleplay, so I hope this is ok!

Spoiler: Blaise Browne

Name: Blaise Browne
Age:16
Appearance: Blaise likes to wear lots of bright colors, usually accompanied by black or white in some way. On a normal day, he'll wear a bright t-shirt under a white hoodie, along with jeans and colorful shoes. He's pretty clumsy, so his clothes often have a stain or two on them. His black, straight hair is parted to the side with an undercut, but he ties it back in a short ponytail while he cooks. Blaise brings his worn black backpack with him everywhere, which is filled with recipe scrawls and various Pokemon medicine.

Personality: Blaise gets excited easily. He's pretty wholesome, and has lots of out-of-the-box ideas with varying levels of success. He's childish, though, with a short attention span. He cares deeply for his Pokemon, and always carries a Potion or ten with him in his backpack. Blaise can't stand seeing people sad, so he does whatever he can to help them, often to his (and sometimes their) detriment.

Backstory: Blaise has always loved Pokemon. Ever since he was a child, he dreamed of being a Gym Leader. Or maybe a Coordinator? Ooh, or a Breeder! He's tried every Pokemon-related job there is, but found all of them boring in some way or another. However, he's always had a knack for cooking, and upon hearing about the chance to cook WITH his Pokemon, he's devoted all of his attention towards it. Blaise has had his Ambipom since he was a child and she was an Aipom. As he grew up, he caught the rest of his team from different places throughout his home region of Sinnoh, even winning Porygon2 in a local cooking competition. Blaise applied to the Cyllage Academy in order to learn to cook professionally and maybe even open a restaurant back home in Hearthome City one day.

Pokemon's use for cooking:
Espeon oversees the entire kitchen, using its ability to detect thoughts and see into the very near future to aid its fellow cooks and prevent disasters before they even happen.
Porygon2 keeps the kitchen running smoothly, using moves like Trick and Ally Swap in creative ways to make sure everything is in the right place at the right time.
Rotom can use its ability to enter appliances to watch over dishes while they cook and turn them off to make sure nothing burns. It's a bit unpredictable, but it'll help out as long as it gets a bite to eat at the end.
Ambipom's prehensile tails let her do pretty much anything a human could, with a bit of extra flair. Blaise loves having her around when he needs to be in two places at once.

Any Food Specialties:
Blaise loves to cook with local berries, but he can bake pretty well, too. He's not the best with meat, though, since he didn't grow up eating a lot of it.

Hmmm, I haven't done a pokemon roleplay in Abit since I was gone. But can we have more then 1 strong suit for cooking classes? Like we can be a meat chef but have a strong suit in pastry?
