Premise: We all know the feel-good stories of pokemon, of a kid getting handed their first pokemon, exploring a country or two and maybe saving the world along the way. We also know that isn't how things work in reality.
Welcome to a different version of the Sinnoh region, where real criminals lurk in the shadows of the skyrise apartments in Jubilife, corrupt cops patrol the crowded streets of Hearthome, and mega-corporations quietly pull the political strings of the Pokemon League. The criminal organization called Team Decay has been slowly growing. Their few members started small, usually petty crimes like shop lifting or stealing purses, but they've been escalating with time. They recently began stealing powerful and rare pokemon from trainers, holding up stores, and generally causing chaos. In just the last month, they've even been blamed for the murder of several pokemon. To this day, no one has yet identified the leader or leaders hiding in the shadows.
So where do you fit in? Your character has been severely impacted by Team Decay in some manner. A deap seated hatred, a grudge, a personal vendetta, whatever you want to call it, but you want to see the people who hurt you pay for it. Not long after your inciting incident, you received a mysterious offer in the form of a strange note, inviting you to Pokemon Mansion south of Hearthome City. Unlike the Sinnoh you may know, this is the home of Professor Ponderosa, an elderly Pokemon Professor known for providing tools to young aspiring trainers. You're not sure what the Professor could want with someone like you, but what you do know is that she might just be the ticket to getting what you want.

Unbeknownst to the character, Professor Ponderosa and her assistant John are working on something they're calling Ditto Suits, a technological and genetic wonder that allow the wearer to morph into a humanoid (gijinka) version of any common pokemon (This excludes Legendaries, Mythicals, Ultrabeasts, Mega evolutions, Gigantamax forms, etc.). The benefit of these suits over a common Trainer-Pokemon combo is that it not only eliminates the lag time between a trainer giving an order and the Pokemon executing, but it essentially gives the user access to any pokemon at almost any time ("almost", because transforming requires a lot of energy and takes time, making it dangerous to transform in the middle of battle). It also allows the user to access the full moveset of the pokemon, essentially giving them the power of a extremely well trained pokemon as long as they can remember the moves they can perform.

Professor Rosalind Ponderosa: A woman in her late 50s or early 60s with long white hair that she keeps pulled up into a large bun on the back of her head and sunken hazel eyes. Although the Sinnoh of the games featured Professor Rowan who's lab was in Sandgem town, Professor Ponderosa operates out of the Pokemon Mansion that she inherrited. She provides starter pokemon and pokedexes to young men and women who want to become trainers, which, while it may sound like not a very profitable business, actually helps her fund her "side project" since she utilizes upgraded Pokedex technology to collect research that the League pays for, to include ecological data, Pokemon preferences of trainers, and more. Professor Ponderosa tends to get easily swept up in her work and often forgets to do basic things like eat and sleep. At first impression she may seem a bit cold, but in reality she's actually quite the empath. She's even rather motherly, down to having eyes in the back of her head and always somehow knowing when something is wrong.
John Rivera: Professor Ponderosa only hired hand, John serves as a lab tech, research assistant, and sometimes even caretaker. He lives and works full time at the mansion, and is easily just as dedicated to the cause as the Professor herself. He's got an overall bean-pole frame, standing 6'2" but extremely lanky and slender. Despite spending most of his time in the lab, he's still surprisingly tan. His dark hair he keeps in a very tidy crew-cut, so even when it's a mess from working long hours, it never really looks that bad. Overall John is extremely friendly, and the type who is always looking out for others. On occassion he might fail to read the room and make a poorly timed joke or attempt to lighten the mood, but he always means well and can get serious when he needs to.
Luke Cera: Luke isn't quite as common of a sight at the mansion as the Professor and John, but he is around quite often. Just slightly shorter than John at 6' even, he's much broader of a build, and though not excessively muscular, his martial arts background shows. Even though he spends more time outdoors than both the Professor and John, his extremely fair skin is paler than both of them, and his slightly long, light blonde hair and blue eyes only seem to emphasize it further. When he is around, Luke isn't particularly sociable when he doesn't have to be. It's not that he's cold or unpleasant, he just tends to keep to himself.
Dunks: The keystone of Professor Ponderosa's research, Dunks is a shiny Ditto with two very special powers: First, they can transform into anything they've seen at least once before. For the last few years, Dunks and Luke have been travelling every region so that Dunks can meet every Pokemon possible, short of the pokemon of myths, making Dunks a one Pokemon, living Pokedex. Their second ability is mix and matching visual traits of different individuals of the same species, eg Dunks can transform into a Spinda with a pattern different to any Spinda they've actually seen. More importantly, that ability also includes humans. Quite often they take the form of a rather short human with dark skin, white braids, and a very androgenous build, though still with a very unsettling ditto face. Unlike their trainer, Dunks is extremely outgoing and cheerful, however they can at times be a bit overprotective of Luke, and with savagely defend him from any percieved dangers.
Greyson, Blueberry and Chamomile: The resident Pokemon of the mansion. Greyson is the guard dog Growlithe, who spends most of his time sleeping so close to the fireplace in the salon that it's a wonder his fur doesn't catch fire. Despite his apparently lazy demeaner, he's quick to alert to anyone at the front door, and has quite the sense for judging character. The Professor give a lot of weight to how Greyson initially reacts to someone. Blueberry and Chamomile are the Swablu and Mincinno housekeepers, respectively. Blueberry is responsible for cleaning up high and dusting any surfaces, while Chamomile keeps the floor swept and clean, as well as clears off any dishes ro trash. Cleaning dishes or mopping up major messes though falls to John, which is why neither Blueberry or Chamomile even bother going in the lab, because they've deemed it beyond hope. All three Pokemon share one of the mansion's bedrooms as their primary living quarters. If you can't find any of them inside, they're likely outside playing in the backyard garden.
Admin A- One of the only currently publically known "leaders" of Team Decay, although police estimate that he's not actually particularly high ranking. Police reports describe him as a large man, roughly 6'2", with broad shoulders, a shaved head, and a thick brown beard. Unlike most of the Team Decay grunts, including the ones he seems to command, he doesn't wear the iconic punk attire and t-shirt with their "D" logo. Instead, he's usually wearing a red button up with torn sleeves and a large gold pin of the Decay logo. His massive Houndoom, Fang, should be even more terrifying than her master, however there's a strange cruelty behind the admin's dark eyes that sends shivers down the back of even the strongest trainers. There's no need to speculate on his cruelty, however, as his crimes speak for themselves. Some of the worst crimes of Team Decay are attributed to him and his crew, to include the particularly high visibility murder of a former contest star's pokemon. Police have yet to track him down, but there's speculation that he may have fled to Jubilife... as well as speculation that the Police aren't trying particularly hard to catch him.

If there are any NPC characters you would like introduced for your backstory, please just let me know! Just keep in mind that as an NPC, they're available for others to use.
Of course, these are by no means intended to replace the big rules, just some extras for this particular RP:
1. Since your character will essentially "be" the pokemon, you won't be able to have partner pokemon for this rp.
2. Keep in mind, these characters are meant to be a bit overpowered, however that doesn't mean you're untouchable. The only specific limits I'm putting on the suits follow:
a. Although the suit itself reflects a shiny ditto, Gijinka forms (half human-half pokemon) won't be shiny.
b. No legendaries, mythicals, Megas, Gigantamax, or Z-moves. Only in very special plot moments will you potentially encounter legendaries, and unless stated prior you won't be able to add them to you're transform library.
c. Characters have limited energy, meaning, first, you can't just endlessly transform from one pokemon to another, meaning if you end up in a bad type match up you may just have to make it work. I'm not setting a particular time limit, this rule is mostly just to keep you from rapidly switching in battle, and over time you may find it easier and less taxing/time consuming to transform, but that should be extremely gradual. Second, you can't just endlessly use super powerful moves over and over. Think about how PP works in the games: Hydro Pump is a very powerful move, so only has 5 uses. Essentially, each use costs energy, so spamming Hydro Pumps is a good way to tire yourself out really fast. Tackle has 35 uses normally, so you probably aren't using a lot of energy just to lunge yourself at an enemy. Long story short, consider how much energy your character is using, as it's one of the few caps on your abilities.
d. Keep in mind that character's aren't walking encyclopedias of Pokemon knowledge. While they have the ability to transform into (almost) any Pokemon, they have to 1) Know the Pokemon and 2) Know what that Pokemon and capable of. I'm not putting a hard limit on anything, but just keep that in mind.
3. If you plan on fighting or sparring with someone else's character, I strongly recommend working out how the fight will go before writing it up. Determining a winner here in the discussion thread or over PM could spare a needlessly drawn out fight and causing issues when there's disagreements on dodging or how much damage a character can take.
4. By nature of the RP, there's likely to be a good bit of violence and potentially problematic content. If your post contains anything excessive, please be sure to put a warning at the top of the post and/or hide the content in spoiler boxes so those who want/need to can skip it.

To sign up, please post this filled out form here in the discussion thread. I can't promise everyone will be accepted, I don't want too many characters making it chaotic. On that note too, one character per person (However, you can always message me if you want some NPCs added). If you haven't looked at the hidden content above this, please be sure to do that before submitting.

Name: Hannah Johnson
Age: 22
Pronouns: She/her
Orientation: Asexual (Panromantic)
Physical Description: Hannah stand's about 5'6", with mahogany brown hair, brick brown eyes, and an almost skeletally thin frame. However, with her thick black jeans and black zip-up hoodie over her oversized, white Contest Hall t-shirt, hide her excessively thin build, along with a large number of fading bruises across her body. By face alone, she looks actually quite pretty, with long eyelashes over almond-shaped eyes, and a slightly round face shape that makes her look a bit younger. Her skin is slightly olive toned, so she doesn't burn very easily, and even when she spends a lot of time in doors she doesn't get particularly pale. She can be a bit off putting to some people, because she tends to avoid eye contact and curl in on herself slightly. Occassionally she seems to just stare off blankly into space.
Personality: Hannah has been through a lot when our story begins, so she’s definitely wary of most people. She’s not cold or mean, but to call her “shy” would be severely understating it. Almost everything she does is about protecting herself, from the way she tends to curl in on herself to her reluctance to discuss her background whenever it isn’t completely necessary. Thanks to the atrocities she’s seen, she medicates herself to sleep, and will always seem to keep herself busy to prevent her mind from wandering to unpleasant times and thoughts. Because she gets so absorbed into anything she’s doing, she tends to be a bit jumpy. She’s nervous about getting attached to any person or Pokémon, so she’ll likely try and keep others at an emotional arms length. She’s actually very intelligent though, and gets excited to learn or when she starts putting the pieces of a puzzle together. When you do finally get her out of her shell, she’s a surprisingly gentle soul to Pokémon and people she cares about. However, life has taught her to be vicious when it’s needed, and she will fight ferociously when the time comes. Her anger and grief will practically control her when she gets serious.
Background:
tl;dr: Hannah is the heir to an extremely powerful coporation. She ran away from home and became a contest star in Hearthome with her Purrloin, Princess. Because of her mother and her boyfriend, she ended up losing everything except her pokemon and what she could cary on her back, so she decided to try her hand as a trainer instead of going home. That was cut short before it even began when Team Decay stepped in. Having lost literally everything she cared about, she lost the will to live until she was handed the mysterious note. Now she wants to stop Team Decay at any cost.
Anything Else: Most of her knowledge of Pokemon is a handful of common baby pokemon from Unova, like Sewaddle, Purrloin, and Lillipup, as well as those she commonly saw in contests, the strongest being Pyroar, Drifblim, Kangaskhan, Steelix, and Chansey, however most of her knowledge of moves at this time are those used for performance, not so much how well they do in battle. Out of respect for her former Purrloin, she will outright refuse to use Purrloin or Liepard forms, even though she is extremely familiar with the potential movesets of those.
Username: Merciless Medic (used to be Pretty Pichu)
Name: Darcy "Darce" Higgins
Age: 24
Pronouns: She/her
Orientation: She is heterosexual.
Physical Description: She has short black hair with longer side bangs (look at Asuza from Soul Eater if this description isn't helping XD I can't describe it very well). She is 5'00" (152.4 cm) and is leanly muscular from her time training to make herself seem less of a mat to walk on. She is pale white, and doesn't have any other extra clothing on besides what she has on her back at the moment of the RP. She has on black combat boots with black tights and dark grey shorts with a white trainer belt. She also has a black cropped shirt with a dark grey tank top. She is quite the goth, if you hadn't noticed by her clothes, so her other clothing options usually are monochromatic or have darker reds and blues. She has brown eyes that feel rather cold when you look into them. She also has a pocket knife clipped to her pants pocket and a dark blue backpack that holds gloves and the items she has stolen from others. She has a few scars on her body from past "adventures" she's had in the urban jungle, and isn't afraid ofshowing them off to get the point across that she's no pushover.
Personality: She is cruel and calculating. She won't let anyone get in the way of her plans, and when done so, she will remove them with brute force and cunning tactics. However, she can lose herself, her anger management issues flying out the window in favor of more drastic measures that could risk the lives of herself and those around her. She doesn't like it when she is wrong or when she makes a mistake but will own up to it when she needs to. Otherwise, she will berate those who fail and will do it herself, commonly mistaking their perceived incompetence for the level of difficulty the task has. This cruel and cold exterior became a thing due to the hardships of her life. Being naive and sweet and generous didn't do her any favors, so she had to do things herself if she were to survive or be comfortable for a time, which also meant looking out for herself only. However, she does have some loyalty to those she deems as mere "acquaintances", especially if they are fighting for a similar cause or have gone through something similar she gone through personally. Her outward behavior may sound like she doesn't care, but she does care enough to help them when they need it, usually acting all "tsundere" afterwards and borderline threatening them to never speak of the friendly gesture again. Ironically, she has a hatred for thieves, but only those who steal too much or from the poor, and she also hates bullies, which ironic as she also is one, as she has threatened people at knife point before. She doesn't see that as bullying, but as an "opportunistic" person fighting to survive in the harsh society.
Background: Darcy went through a troubling childhood, where her family practically disowned her at a young age due to wanting to be a part of Team Skull and not following the general mold of most young trainers. She roamed about in the Alola Region with one Pokemon that protected her - a Deino named Saza she obtained from her father - until she saw that she could leave the region altogether. With her Pokemon guardian and only having as much academic knowledge as a middle schooler about life in general (and only knowing a handful of Pokemon she has had a friendship with), she went to Sinnoh where she took to stealing and lying to make a living. She had been living like a thief and a swindler ever since, up until she hit the age of 24 and when Team Decay began making their move. Due to her swindling ways for the four years of her stay in Sinnoh, some of the newer members who had recognized her had mistaken her for a Team Decay member, who wasn't clad in their uniforms to make it easier for her to do what she pleased. In fact, she even considered joining Team Decay. However, after a life of being herself and free for so long, following someone's orders and being bound to them seemed like a cheap shot to her pride. She had heard about this team's "Admin" many times, but never really believed the rumors. Or, at least she didn't get it to her head. Maybe that guy was just misunderstood, like her. Maybe that guy was just doing what he needed to do, like Team Skull. Maybe they weren't all bad. However, she would be proven wrong, as her own Pokemon went missing one night. Understandably, Darcy went on the hunt to find her Pokemon, wondering why this has never happened before. Due to her partner being a Deino, she knew that whoever had taken her would find use in the creature. When she did find out who had taken her precious Pokemon, she found that the Dark/Dragon-Type was now serving someone else in the ranks. The Deino was lost and confused, unwilling to obey her new master. Darcy tried her best to get her Deino back, but the other stronger Pokemon kept her away. This will be the last time she ever got to see Deino, as she was swiftly knocked out and was left laying there on the floor of the alleyway of Jubilife City. Going to the police never suited her style, plus she wasn't exactly "homies" with them and one of them probably recognized her anyway. Having nowhere else to go, she wandered aimlessly with other people until she made it to Hearthome City. There, she received the Mysterious Letter. Filled with a new fire to get her Deino back before she evolved, she made plans to head towards the Pokemon Mansion immediately. It's not like she had anything else to do anyway.
Anything else: The Pokemon she knows quite a bit about are Deino, Zweilous, Hydreigon, Jangmo-o, Hakamo-o, Kommo-o, Cutiefly, Ribombee, Alolan Meowth, Kantonian Meowth, Kantonian Persian, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Mimikyu, Sandygast, Palossand, Absol, Sneasel, Weavile, Pawniard, Bisharp, Stunky, Zorua, and Zoroark. There are other Pokemon she's familiar with, but doesn't exactly know too much about them. Her short-term memory is amazing and can remember most things about a Pokemon if she has read or heard about them in the same day or two, but will lose most of that knowledge after those two days (or even after the same day) if she doesn't get reminded of it later. She doesn't know about basic type matchups and also don't know much about Pokemon Abilities, but she does know about what Pokemon can learn what moves.
Username: Captain Cardboard
Name: Mercury Laforge
Age: 17
Pronouns: He/him
Orientation: Straight
Physical Description: Mercury is a teen silver hair. He tends to wear a purple hoodie and worn jeans, and carries a rather worn blue school backpack. His tennis shoes are well used and look close to falling apart, and a crowbar sticks out of his backpack. He has gray eyes, and stands around 5'4". He's pretty lean, but not incredibly athletic. Mercury also has a purple bandana, which he tends to use as a makeshift mask if the situation should call for it.
Personality: Nowadays, Mercury has a bit of a shorter fuse. His past feelings of helplessness makes him very action oriented, which can cause him to rush without thinking. However, he is also a very determined person and would be willing to learn and do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals.
Background: Mercury was raised in a low-income household. His family could not afford the cost of raising Pokemon. When he was young, his older sister went out to be a Pokemon trainer. She did very well, and actually helped the family earn money. But unfortunately, she fell extremely ill. The little bit of funds his family had managed to save up quickly dried up. Just as things were looking grim, the hospital told Mercury's family that they had found a cure for his sister's illness. It was being shipped in from the Hoenn region, and should arrive just in time.
But that was when disaster struck. The shipment was hijacked by members of Team Decay, and the medicine failed to reach the hospital. Mercury flew into a bit of a rage, stealing a crowbar and smashing a few windows with it. What he could he do? He was just a kid, and didn't even have a Pokemon. But that was when a strange note appeared on his doorstep.
Anything else: He hasn't had much experience with Pokemon or fighting, but due to a small adventure he had he knows a bit about Luxray, Lucario, and Lycanroc. Also knows a bit about Pokemon from what his sister has told him.
Username: Shadow_Pup
Name: Doku Suraimu
Age: 19
Pronouns: She/Her
Orientation: Bisexual
Physical Description:
Personality: Doku is afraid of a lot of things (The dark, enclosed spaces, spiders, rats, needles, water, birds and bullies). She also has a tendency to emotionally attach herself to the first person who shows her kindness using them as a shield or buffer against her fears. She isn't great socially and she crys a lot. However when she uses the suits and changes her personality shifts with her she becomes more confident, fearless and violent with a short temper.
Background: Raised in an orphanage after her parents gave her up she spent most of her life being ridiculed most her life for the unnatural colour of her eyes and hair. She eventually found out from a doctor that wherever she was born must have been very close to a toxic waste dumb or something similar as the almost neon green colouring of her eyes and the pale green of her hair was due to a toxic radiative in her genome. It didn't harm her in any way it just meant she would always be quite small and have unnatural colouring to her hair and eyes. She grew up shunned by kids her age until the day the orphanage caught fire, the man in charge had been paying Team Decay and when he could no longer pay they killed him and set the place a blaze, being the only survivor she was blamed and went on the run and she been running for almost 9 years, she had received a letter soon after the incident but had ignored it all this time only now had her curiosity got the better of her.
Anything else: She will probably favor dark or poison types.

Personality: Katsumi acts extremely confident, and shows it through cunning (rather than raw intelligence). He has a tendency, however, to attach to others in order to hide any vulnerabilities. Despite that, he considers a soft spot also a weak spot, and tends to rely on anything to get by. In reality, he is terrified, fragile, and with rare instances of mental stability. He hates Team Decay with a burning passion, due to the fact that his entire life was ruined by them over the course of a long time, rather than a single instance like most people, and that he should've stopped it. Does their best to stick to a schedule. Keeps hold of money for as long as possible, knows the streets of many cities inside out thanks to his time in Team Decay.
Background: Born poor, Katsumi wasn't exactly given a fair set of cards to work with. He had to learn to fight from a young age, even without Pokémon. He was an outcast to his surroundings in Veilstone City, no matter what. However, they did have one friend. A girl named Phoebe, who always made sure they were alright at the end of the day, and they protected her in turn. That was, until one day, he found her dead in an alleyway. Horrified, and wanting revenge for his fallen friend, he was convinced into joining Team Decay under the promise of a better life and the resources to get revenge. He became a fairly good grunt (though just that, a grunt. He never even took part in the darker sides, but knew what happened after his duties were done for the day anyway), and even gained a Pokémon; A Dunsparce. It wasn't particularly strong, but it was good enough to get the job done, and Katsumi was a natural strategist even without education. However, the promise of revenge seemed...barren. Every time they found a lead, it either led to a dead end or it was unauthorized, until eventually, they took the leap...
And was caught immeadiantly. As punishment, their Dunsparce was maimed badly. Horrified once more, Katsumi ran. They couldn't save Dunsparce, but he could damn save himself (later, he would make up the claim that he had not fallen for it when coaxed into joining, it was simply for information and nothing else, though that was a lie). For the next year, Team Decay made many attempts to silence him, causing his already shit life pre-Team Decay to become even worse. After a while, he got them off his tail through gambling money, and that was when it hit him; They had probably been the ones to kill Phoebe. Realising how ruined his life had been by the team, Katsumi decided that, as soon as he could, he would dedicate himself to defeating them, and killing whoever was at the top. Eventually, however, he was given the note, and quickly accepted, lucky him.
"Whatever I can to strike back at those bastards, I'll take it. All I ask is my own life stays."
Anything else: Favours mostly normal, bug, or rock types. He knows mostly about Dunsparce, Kabuto, Swablu, Shieldon, Probopass, Ledyba, Ariados, Tyrunt, Pidgey line, Starly line, Onix, Leafeon, Riolu + Lucario, Machop and Machoke, to name a few (aka. I don't know what more to list).
Background:
Although she won't say it, Hannah is (or, rather was) the heiress to one of the largest corporations in the world, "Johnson Corp", which makes all variety of common household supplies, from vacuum cleaners to kitchen appliances to toilet paper and cleaning wipes. Though it may not sound that exciting, the family owned corporation has an incredible amount of influence thanks to their wealth, from League politics to local police departments across all the regions. Hannah was intended to be the perfect heir to the throne, but in exchange she didn't have exactly normal childhood. She barely knew her parents and was more familiar with her private tutors, to the extent that when her father passed away when she was ten, she didn't really even know who's funeral she was attending, or why she should be sad. Her mother was an incredibly cold and calculating woman, who rarely interacted with her daughter. One of the only memories Hannah has of seeing her mother in person, outside her father's funeral, was when her mother found out she was trying to secretly raise a Sewaddle in her room. The woman didn't simply punish her daughter or release the pokemon like a normal parent might do: she instead made her witness something so horrid that Hannah still can't speak on it to this day, and then locked the girl in her room for a week after, even cancelling her tutoring so her only interactions were when the maid brought her food.
Once she turned 16, Hannah ran away from home, and made friends with a wild Purrloin who attempted to steal some of her jewelry. The two managed to make their way to Sinnoh in hopes of escaping her mother's influence. She signed up for the contest hall, and eventually even made a name for herself and her Purrloin, Princess, in the Smart category. Even as talented as they were, Smart wasn't a particularly well-watched category, so they didn't make a ton of earnings and lived a very modest life. However, the pair wasn't satisfied, and strove for better. They entered far more popular Cool and Cute leagues, cleverly using their "smart" moves to creat cool and cute effects that won over judges and audiences. However, as soon as they started to get big, Hannah's mother reemerged. She allowed Hannah to continue her "free" life, but in exchange for a large portion of her earnings as "compensation" for being a waste of money and resources, since she refused to return and inherit the company as planned. If Hannah insisted on not paying up, she would be arrested and brought back forcefully, thanks to her mother's ties with the Hearthome police. Hannah decided to pay up and continue her contest career, but no matter how big she got, she ended up earning even less that she did when they led the Smart league. At one point she and Princess were second in popularity only to Fantima, the local gym leader herself, but all the while they were struggling just to keep a roof over their heads. Because she tried to keep her struggles to herself, she ended up isolating herself from her friends and other contestants, and some began to think she was stuck up and rude. The rumor spread, but that wouldn't be what ended her career.
The end of her career came because of a man known as Leon. He was another Contest star from Kalos, with his partner pokemon Zulu, a male Pyroar, who was also rather popular. The two dated for the better part of a year, and although Hannah wanted to keep the relationship private, Leon leaked it behind her back. Things didn't just end badly, they ended disastrously. Leon had actually been secretly hired by Hannah's mother to ruin her career, hopefully forcing her to come home. He attempted to force himself on her. She didn't go to the police initially, only to find out that Leon had gone instead, claiming that she had assaulted him instead. A court case that had Hannah's mother's work all over it found her guilty, but her bail was paid by her mother. Instead of returning home though, Hannah defiantly stayed in Hearthome, but now with no job and no home, instead just barely scraping by with Princess on the street. Once she gathered enough funds, she planned on taking Princess and attempting to make her way as a trainer in the League Challenge.
As soon as she attempted to start her adventure, it was abruptly ended when she ran into Team Decay just outside Hearthome. The man known as Admin A intercepted her just outside the city. After realizing the Princess wasn't actually particularly powerful, just flashy, and her species (though not in Sinnoh) was extremely common in Unova, he decided that she wasn't worth stealing. Instead, he murdered the Pokemon in cold blood, directly in front of Hannah.
That was just under a month ago. Hannah was sent to the Hearthome hospital shortly after when someone found her beaten and crying over her Pokemon. With nothing left to live for, it looked like her diagnosis was grim, despite none of her injuries being particularly bad. That was when a nurse delivered her the Mysterious Note. With a spark of hope, she began to recover, and has decided to focus her energy on stopping the organization that took away the one thing that had been there for her through thick and thin.
