Nothing is much better than friends... At least, that's what you were told as a child... Repeatedly. It seems like such a generic thing to say, but in truth, even though it was fairly annoying to hear so many times, you could hardly even complain- it was still very true. That saying could be linked to days like today. Sure, it was a nice day to begin with, but as you strolled through the flowery-smelling forest with your childhood friend, Felix, you felt it might not be able to get much better than this... You two had been strolling for just about an hour and a half by now, but it was such a nice day, you weren't even remotely exhausted... It seemed as if being with Felix had always made things more enjoyable.
You remember the first time you two had met, way back as a toddler... When he was only a little chick. Of course, now, as a teenager, he's fully evolved, and though he looks a bit intimidating, you felt as if he was the same as he was as a kid- kind, goofy, quiet, and (not that it was important), a bit on the chubby side. Yep, he didn't have too many friends aside from you nowadays- he was pretty lonely... You felt it was a bit of your responsibility to make him a bit less lonely...
He turned to you, suddenly, which came to a bit of a surprise, as you both haven't said barely anything for about twenty minutes now.
"Hey, uh... Is it just me, or is it kinda hot out here?.." He asked, wiping some sweat from his forehead.\
