The squeaking seems to have caught Koi's attention too, and the pup continues his orbit around Aisha as Bianca started jumping for the ball. Koi gave up trying to get the squeaky toy sooner than Bianca did, and just sat down like a potato sack as he just watches Aisha place the ball aside to replace it with a cleaner toy. He licked his nose and scratch at his ears with his hind legs as he waits for something to happen, tail having stop wagging from the lack of excitement.
Kino merely watches, arms crossed to hold his long sleeves, seemingly disinterest, but reacts when Aisha asks him if he brought a toy for Koi. The kid laughs, untwining one of his hands from the other and lifted a finger, perking it near his face.
"Does my finger count?" He jokes, "You'd be surprised at how much Koi tries to chew it whenever you pet it, puppies do that a lot." He giggles.
Koi huffs as if to disagree, but laid his head onto the ground.
"Hee hee, I did bring something for Koi though, some snacks and a bundle of socks." Kino continues, holding up the said socks, folded neatly together but had obvious hint of hole in it, seemingly having been gnawed on. The sight of the sock instantly got the puppy's attention, and his tail wags furiously as he jumps up and went on an orbit around Kino this time, every once in a while pawing at the boy's knees. Little whimpers and whines sounded as the puppy begs for the toy, to which was graciously given and the dog distracts himself into the midst of biting the socks.
Kino chuckles, shaking his head as he once again, crossed his arms together.
"I tried to give Koi a better toy, some ropes and a ball, but he didn't like them, he dumps them the moment he got bored of it. I still have a box of toys that my grandma gave him! Ungrateful brat," Kino said, prodding Koi with his leg, making the puppy shuffle away, "he only ever liked chewing on socks, he keeps biting my feet because of it! I went through so many socks because of holes in them that
this little potato bit through." Kino glares at Koi, to which the dog conveniently looked away.
"Trust me, if you have Koi for a day, all your socks would be endangered, mark my words." Kino warns, leaning down to poke the Koi on the snout, making them snort and turn away. "Koi, you can't keep playing, we gotta move on sooner or later." Kino said. The dog didn't reply, so the kid didn't bother to force them, he'll just do that later.
