It looked like one or two good hits could knock out the former champion as he gradually made his way to the south part of the busy city. The city itself had gone under a complete transformation, with new Skyscrapers being created every year, so much so that it's population increased to about the same as some of Unova's most gigantic cities, such as Castelia City. Driftveil City had been chosen as the location of the champion's tournament, where Alder and a number of other veteran trainers would gather and watch ace trainers battle for the title of champion. Iris herself was old but not as old as Alder. She was undefeatable in the end, her reign lasting for well beyond 10 years. She made her way towards Alder as soon as he entered the stadium the tournament was being held in. The tournament had been decieded to be held in Driftveil City, due to the fact the world tournaments were being held here as well, the stadium was splendid in Alder's eyes. Alder and Iris greeted each other and took their seats with a number of other old Veteran trainers. The first few Ace trainers arrived in the hallway before the stadium. This was going to be the greatest tournament to ever take place.
