Appearance: Standing at an unimpressive 5"6, Chen is perhaps the definition of average. His face is round with scarcely defined cheekbones and jawline. His hair is black, short, and likewise to brier. His eyes are smoothly curved into an elliptical shape, a brown hue neighbouring on the verge of black. His nose is triangular; thin at his bridge and gradually broadening as it reaches the base of his nose. His frame is comfortably between what would be considered skinny and what would be considered overweight, his placid diet and lack of enthusiasm for exercise largely to blame. He exudes an easy, approachable demeanour and smiles frequently.
Personality: Chen is painfully introverted and clumsy, responsible for breaking several of his bones and much of his mother's kitchenware throughout his meager life. He has a hard time expressing himself through words and dislikes physical contact, instead resolving to concentrate his passions into numbers and strategy. He can be especially clever and sharp-tongued when he's in the mood for it, more so developed in the areas of logistics than in creativity. He despises conflict, but devotes himself to the Rebellion, his hatred for the Shadow Kingdom outweighing his unease for violence.
When fused, he becomes a hollowed version of himself. Although analytical and aware of those around him, he is void of emotion and morality. He may become outwardly crude or uncooperative towards others, regardless of how important his issued commands are. He greatly prefers complete solitude and is quickly moved to aggression or violence when agitated.

A halo reminiscent of a crescent moon hangs low above his head, radiating with an otherworldly glow. His curved eyelids firmly clamp shut, rendering him completely blind. His skin becomes pale and ashen, giving him the stringent complexion of a corpse. The Shedinja's six lifeless wingtips protrude from his back, a circular agglomeration cut into its hard shell and looking into his carcass.
Fusion Abilities: Whence fused, he is able to clearly and logically think, ultimately abandoning the stresses of his previous form. He is also granted with the ability of levitation (although he is unable to stop levitating, so it's as much a blessing as it is a curse).
