Gigantamax Toxtricity Coming To Pokémon Sword/Shield

It has been announced today that the Gigantamax version of Toxtricity will become available in Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield from the 6th of February at 4PM PST. A trailer for the event can be viewed below:

The event will run until Sunday the 8th of March at 5PM PST. If you're playing Pokémon Sword you'll be able to capture Amped Form Toxtricity while players of Pokémon Shield will be able to get their hands on the Low Key Form.

If the version of the Pokémon you want isn't available in your game, you can connect to someone hosting the raid on the opposite version of the game to obtain it. The details of the Toxtricity are as follows:


Gigantamax Toxtricity
Type: [type=electric][/type]/[type=poison][/type]
Height: 78'9"+
Weight: ??? lbs.
Ability: Punk Rock / Plus / Minus
Electric-type moves used by Gigantamax Toxtricity will change to G-Max Stun Shock. G-Max Stun Shock not only deals damage but also poisons or paralyzes all opponents.

Did you check Wild Area News in Mystery Gifts? Do that and you should get four event raids and four normal raids. Mind you, you also need at least four badges to unlock 3 star raids and six badges for 4 star raids as those are when the Gigantamax Pokemon start appearing.
