"Silver wind!" Ella cried. A strange wind blew from Beauty's winds towards the Mawile. The Mawile took the attack.
"Crunch!" The Mawile took it's strange jaw hanging from it's back and it attacked at Beauty.
"Dodge it!" Beauty flew to the side
"Crunch again!" Beauty became crushed by the jaws but she managed to fly out.
"Girls these days..." Patrick commented.
"Giga drain!" The Mawile's energy became sucked.
"Iron head!" The Mawile crashed it's head into Beauty. Beauty fainted.
"Good work." Jonas commented. Ella have Jonas an angry look.

 

[Retro Master]

When they arrived at the hospital, Riley was taken straight to surgery. "What, already?", Riley asked as they put him to sleep. It took the surgeons a couple hours to complete the surgery repairing his ribs and other damaged parts.

A few hours later, Riley woke up. "So how am I doctor?", Riley asked hoping for the best. "We were able to heal your damaged ribs and other bruised parts of your body.", the doctor stated. "Let's go!", exclaimed Riley as he tried to get off the bed. Then he fell back in pain. "I thought you said I was fine?!", exclaimed Riley. "If you had let me finish you would know that your body is still recovering from surgery, so you will still feel pain.", explained the doctor. "But I go first in the tournament.", said Riley. "We have prescribed some anti depressants for your pain. So you should be able to compete once the tournament starts. But don't overdo it.", stated the doctor as he started to exit the room. "Okay.", stated Riley as he slowly sat up.

"Go Katrina!" A Delcatty appeared. "Hyper voice!" Katrina roared at the Mawile and it fainted as the echoes send it flying.
"Smart..." Neve said.

 

[Jagson]

After dropping Riley off Drew with Tess accompanying him walked towards the stadium. He stopped as He saw Ella fighting some unknown girl. " Yeah I'm not going that way." He said as he changed his direction.
"You should." Tess said. " Your the one that said they we're non friends. Maybe if you tried to talk to them It'll be different."
" Fine." Drew said as he walked towards the group. " What's going on?" Drew asked.

 

[Yaspen]

As she was pondering how exactly she got here, a speedboat appeared. There were people partying on it, and the captain noticed Aspen. He stuck his head outside the window. "Are you alright miss?" He asked.
"Other than being soaked and in the middle of the ocean, yeah. I think I almost drowned, but my pokemon saved me. I think," She replied.
"Are you looking for the tournament?"
"Actually, yeah. Do you know where it is?"
"Sure! Want me to take you there?"
"That'd be great."
"Here, climb on." He grabbed her hand. "Easy, easy. There you go!" He said as she climbed up.
"Thanks. Alright guys, return." She held out her pokeballs and called her pokemon back to them. Aspen turned to face the captain. "Thanks for letting me on your boat," She thanked him.
"No problem! By the way, you can call me Derrick," He added. "Here, have a blanket." Derrick turned to his buddies. "Okay guys, we're heading back to the island." The guys groaned. Then one of them saw Aspen.
"Hey beautiful. Are you a pokemon, because you just used Attract on-" Aspen slapped him in the face.
Within a good fifteen minutes, they arrived back at the island. "Thanks, Derrick," Aspen said.
"Hey, you were in trouble. I see someone in trouble, I help. As long as it doesn't put me in any immediate danger. But I think this may have; my buddie's are probably gonna kill me for not letting any of them ask you out," He added. Aspen laughed.
"See you around!" She said, and walked away to a hotel. She paid at the front desk, dropped her soggy stuff on a bed, and went to the tournament building.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri who checked in with the doctor to see how Riley was doing first left the hospital, he made his way back to the professors lab, where he knocked on the door and opened in "Pardon the intrusion..."

An abundance of scientists who discussed how the tournament would go gathered in the lab, a camera crew who had the CTV label on their cameras which was the national Hoenn channel, which was broadcasting the scientists discussion on common things throughout multiple billboards.

Professor Con looked up at Kiri and smiled "Kiri perfect timing! Ah that's right" Con looked at the various camera crew and scientists who was somewhat confused "This is my friend Kiri, he's participating in the tournament so since he's already here can we get a word from you Kiri? What do you want say to all your competition in the Hoenn Tournament?"

The camera crew turned their cameras from the scientists towards Kiri and the Pichu on his head, his face was currently being lived aired from all the billboards in Hoenn, the whole region was watching Kiri had a moment of anxiety and took a deep breath and smile then balled his fist towards the camera with ambition in his eyes

"My name is Kiri Kelain from Twinleaf Town in Sinnoh...and I'm going to win the Hoenn Tournament, and jump over any hurdle I have to cross! To all my competition, come and get me!"

Kiri's Pichu chirped "Pichu Pichu!" agreeing to what Kiri said, the Professor then nodded as the camera turned back to the scientists

"There you have it a declaration of victory from a challenger we'll see if he lives up to the hype!" The professor said as the camera crew shouted for a short intermission

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen saw Kiri and his Pichu. "Hey!" She waved to him in an awkward way that only Aspen could. Deciding that she would rather NOT humiliate herself in public, she walked over to him. "You're in the tournament too? Cool! May the best trainer win!" She said, and held her hand out to him.

"Oh it's Drew!" Ella said
"Ella is battling this girl we just met..." Jonas told Drew. "She's called Neve..." Jonas stared at her.
"Actually, I've met Neve before...she's my..." Patrick said
"What?!" Jonas roared. Jealousy raged in him.

(Looker)
Looker had received a call that told him Darius was still alive. He had been spotted entering signing up for the tournament a while before. He saw a mysterious van. He was grabbed and thrown into the back. "What's going on here?" He asked
"Quiet!" The driver whispered. He revealed himself to be Darius and Looker gasped.
Another person looked at him from the back. It was Aston. "What are you doing here?" He asked
"Look, me and Aston are going to sign up for the tournament. Don't judge us and you can go..." Darius explained that if Looker let Darius and Aston could participate in the tournament. Looker was thrown out of the van and it drove off as he agreed. Looker proceeded to leave for Sinnoh. He told himself to leave Darius alone saying that he had 'learnt his lesson.'

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri turned around and saw Aspen enter the lab, as the scientists continued to converse on their own "yeah! No hard feelings to whatever happens, I look forward to seeing you!"

Kiri raised his hand and shook her hand, as the Pichu on Kiri's head made a noise waving at Aspen "Pi-Chu!"

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen smiled. Her belt shook and Chu came out of its pokeball, cheeks crackling. At first, Aspen was surprised, but she laughed. "Looks like Chu wants to say hi!"
"Raichu chu!" Chu said happily.
"So, that was an interesting side adventure, wasn't it? I never in my life have even dreamed up a walking building," She said, trying to make conversation.

 

[Jagson]

"Neve huh." Drew said as he watched the battle unfold. " Nice to meet you Ma'am." He said. he proceeded to look as Jonas." Jealous huh." He said noticing Jonas's reaction. " What do you think he was going to say? For all we know he was going to say sister."

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri's Pichu dropped from Kiri's shoulder and waves at the Raichu, as Pichu's electric sacks sparked from meeting another electric type

Kiri rubbed the back of his head "Yeah to be honest I was caught off guard since I just returned to Hoenn so I sort of panicked"

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen laughed. "I know, right? They all say Hoenn's supposed to be some sort of awesome vacation region, but that's not exactly my idea of a 'serene getaway'. I came from Johto."

 

[Retro Master]

Riley went to go pick up his prescription at the hospital pharmacy. After he finished taking some of the anti depressants his pain started to go away. "That feels much better.", he said as he stretched. He looked up at a sign saying the tournament was starting in an hour which made Riley remember something. "Shit! I go first and Ella has Salamence!", Riley exclaimed as he started to panic.

He ran out the building only to find himself surrounded by a group of reporters questioning him. "How do you feel about your chances winning this tournament after previously winning in Johto?", was one of the questions Riley could hear during the commotion. "Well, if this tournament is anything like the last then this one will be a piece of cake.", he exclaimed. "Do you think your injuries will limit you?", asked another. "The only thing that will limit me is the rules!", he said with a smirk. After what happened in the last Tournament, the rules allowed no more self destruction moves or killing another Pokemon. If so, it might result in disqualification. "A video leaked a fight between you and and the competitor who placed second, what was his name again?", the reporter asked. "Yannick.", stated Riley amused about the fact that they had forgotten Yannick's name. "Ah, yes, Yannick. Anyways, your thoughts on the fight.", stated the reporter. Riley realized that he was wasting time and had to get out of the situation. "Why don't you ask him? He's right there.", Riley exclaimed pointing in a random direction.

The crowd of reporters turned in the direction Riley had pointed out. "Now's my chance.", Riley said quietly. Then he started to run in the other direction. One reporter turned to see Riley running. "Hey! He's getting away!", the reporter yelled. The crowd turned to see Riley run and started to chase after him like an angry mob! "Shit! This is not happening! Where are you Ella?!", he exclaimed as he ran away from the mob of reporters that were chasing him.

"Actually she's my cousin..." Patrick replied. Jonas was relieved.
The battle continued. "Go Shroomy!" A Breloom appeared in front of Katrina. "Use Mach punch!" Shroomy dashed forward towards Katrina.
"Dodge it and use thunderbolt!" Katrina jumped out of the way and the zapped a blast of electricity towards Shroomy, who became paralysed.
"Bullet seed!" Bullets fired towards Katrina.
"Try and dodge them!" Katrina tried jumping over some of them but got hit.
"Seed bomb!" Shroomy dealt more damage to Katrina.
"Hyper voice, full blast!" Katrina growled very loud. Patrick and Jonas covered their ears. Within seconds, Shroomy was down.
"You're great!" Neve complimented Ella.
"That was fun, you were good. I think we shall fare well in this tournament." Ella said.
"Both of you were determined." Patrick replied.
"Guys, it looks like the construction squad has finished clearing up the mess left on this island. Many of the restaurants and cafés have reopened." Jonas reported.
"We should get food." Patrick suggested. "How about you and Neve go and get some food, maybe bring some to us."
"Good idea. Let's go do that, our matches aren't on for a while..." Neve giggled and ran off with Jonas.
"There they go..." Patrick commented.
"Lets sit here." Ella suggested. They walked towards a fountain and sat with Patrick on the side of it on the stone. The fountain was right next to the stadium and it was gloriously gigantic.

Kiri nodded "Guess every island is pretty bazar, well me and Pichu are here to win the tournament so I guess we'll have to expierence that in full" Kiri nodded at the Pichu on the ground "Did you participate in the Jhoto tournament?"

Professor Con soon went to Kiri holding a small case with 4 Pokeballs "Your other Pokemon finished their transfer progress, here you go I had to cut it down since they only allowed Hoenn Jhoto and Kanto Pokemon" Con handed the case to Kiri "I already signed you up for the tournament so don't worry about that" He looked over to the young girl next to him "Hey, I'm
Professor con do you need anything!"

 

[Yaspen]

"I wish I could have participated in the Johto Tournament! I didn't have enough badges though. I came here to get some more, so I could participate in at least one Tournament. It was pretty fun, actually. Traveling another region, I mean. I don't need anything, but thanks!" She added, to reply to the Professor's question.

 

[Retro Master]

Riley was running as fast as he could to get away from the reporters when he thought of something. "They must be at the stadium already since the tournament is about to start.", he thought as he started to run in the direction of the stadium.

A few moments later, he had ran up to the stadium and saw a large fountain. He ran forward when he saw Patrick sitting with Ella. "Hey guys, sorry to...", was all he said before he tripped on a rock and landed on the ground in front of them. "Sorry to interrupt your moment, but I need Salamence back, now. I have to get out of here before they come.", he said as he pulled himself up. Then he turned around to see the group of reporters run up to them.

One of them saw Patrick and Ella sitting right next to each other and immediately asked them a question. "So are you guys a couple now?!", the reporter asked as the group turned their attention from Riley to Patrick and Ella. Then they started to barrage them with questions. Surprisingly, no reporter even noticed Drew was there.

Kiri placed each Pokeball on his belt while talking with her "We should get going to the tournament" Kiri said as he waved to the professors, he opened the door leaving it open for her to walk through "We don't want to be late now, I have to meet with someone at stadium as well" Kiri said as he stared at the girl's Pokeballs which cause Kiri to become more motivated to enter the tournament "You ready?"

 

[Yaspen]

"Yep! Let's go! Chu, do you want to go back in your pokeball?" She asked. Chu shook its head. "Alright! Thanks!" Aspen added to Kiri. Suddenly her Pokegear started ringing. "Its my dad. Mind if I take this?"

 

[Jagson]

Drew walked away from the reporters. Obvious that none of them noticed him. " I told you it was a bad idea Tess." Drew said as he continued walking. "Things are better this way."
He made his way to the stadium. He checked when his battle was going to be. Looking at the board he was more or less in the middle. He entered the stadium and made his ways to the nosebleeds as some people would call them. So far up that you could barley see anything. this would be a nice place to be alone. He kicked his feet up and waited for the tournament to begin.

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen's Pokegear was still ringing, so she answered it before Dad got suspicious. "Yeah?"
"Hey! We're just inside the airport to see your tournament!" Dad said excitedly.
"WHAT?!? Who's 'we'? DON'T TELL ME YOU BROUGHT ZOE AND GAVIN!"
"Well..."
"HI ASPEN! IT'S US!" Zoe's voice blasted through the Pokegear speakers.
Aspen facepalmed. Then she laughed. "It'll be nice to see some familiar faces in the stands, I guess," She admitted.
"See you there!" Gavin's voice was quieter than Zoe's, but equally excited. There was a click, and Dad hung up. So did Aspen.
"Well, looks like my dad and best friend are coming too," She sighed.

"Um..." Patrick was lost for words as his face turned red. "No..."
"Why didn't we come across all these reporters on our journeys? Why is it only now that they want to ask questions, when we've been on an entire journey around Hoenn since the Johto tournament. If you reporters want to know about us, you should have asked us when we were travelling...anyway, we're just friends..." Ella answered the reporter.
She saw Riley trip. "Are you okay?"
"I was going to ask that!" Patrick exclaimed. He and Ella helped Riley up.
"Your Salamence proved to be good. I made him fly out of that machine thing to collect survivors. Let's hope he doesn't tear another place to shreds with Draco Meteor." She handed Riley a poke ball containing his Salamence.
"Oh and we forgive you for the Jonas thing. Turns out he was in a semi-coma in the end!" Patrick explained.

 

[Retro Master]

The reporters backed away baffled. "Judging by Patrick's reaction to that question, it's pretty obvious there's something going on. And it's only now, when everyone comes together for these tournaments that many news stations decide to cover these topics. Once you do good in these world renowned tournaments, you basically become a celebrity. So you better get used to these moments.", stated a reporter as the crowd started to leave them.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm glad that Salamence was able to help out. And it's good to here that Jonas is still alive.", stated Riley as took Salamence's pokeball from Ella. "Before I go, I just want to say that guy was right. During my Hoenn journey, since I won the tournament, every city I went, there were reporters always questioning. So I guess you have to get used to it. Especially when people think you're in a relationship, more people want to get the information.", stated Riley before he went into the stadium. "Oh, and good luck."

"Thank you!" Patrick replied. "Really people who are more skilled should get most of the attention...then again, that Cortez guy would be a celebrity now since he was in the finals...hehe..."

 

[Jagson]

Drew watched as people started to sit down in the stands. he was right the corner he sat in was uninhabitable. Just the way he wanted it. He put in his headphones kicked his feet up into the back of the chair in front of him and watched the screen waiting for this tournament to begin.

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen noticed that people were starting to go into the tournament building. "Oh crud! We'd better get moving!" She said. "Hey, there's Dad! And Gavin and Zoe! Wow, that's a lot of people..." Chu wrapped its tail around Aspen's wrist, slightly shocking her.

 

[Retro Master]

Riley ran into the stadium, straight to the trainer room where all the competing trainers wait. His match was about to begin and his opponent was already heading out onto the battlefield. "Sorry to keep you waiting!", exclaimed Riley as he went up to his opponent as they walked onto the battlefield. "Just because you won the previous tournament doesn't mean you can do what you want here.", said the trainer. "Well, someone's salty.", said Riley as they arrived onto the battlefield and went to opposite ends of the field.

"Here he is folks, the winner of the Johto League Tournament, Riley!", exclaimed the announcer. The stadium was filled to the brim, and when they started to cheer, it was extremely loud. "His first opponent, that stands in his way of defending his title, is Adam!", exclaimed the announcer. People cheered, but it wasn't as loud as they did for Riley.

"You should just give up. I don't want to humiliate anyone in front of this many people.", stated Riley. The crowd seemed to love the trash talk as they roared in excitement. Adam fixed his glasses. "I was informed of your trash talk, so it doesn't phase me.", he stated. "Well that's enough of that. Let the battle begin!", exclaimed the announcer.

"Come out Salamence!", exclaimed Riley as he tossed it's pokeball. The massive dragon came out roaring, flapping it's wings as it landed, causing wind to blow towards Adam. "Glalie, I choose you!", said Adam as he threw out the pokeball. Out came an ice Pokemon, shaped like a sphere with two horns. "Ice type, smart. But that doesn't scare Salamence.", exclaimed Riley. Adam wasn't having it and commanded Glalie to use avalanche. Giant ice boulders formed over Salamence and started to plummet towards him. "Salamence, dodge it!", exclaimed Riley. With great speed, Salamence avoided the attack. "Now end the battle with fire blast!", commanded Riley. Salamence shot a blast of fire straight towards Glalie. It was to slow to avoid it and was hit. The Pokemon fell straight to the ground. It looked severely burned and had feinted.

"And the winner is Riley!", stated the announcer. The crowd cheered for Riley as he walked up to Adam. "It should be alright. Salamence didn't use it's full power on Glalie. At worse, it probably had a few burns.", stated Riley trying to confront the trainer. "It's alright, I had no chance anyways.", he said before he left. Riley then headed back to the trainer lounge.

 

[Jagson]

( Clair)
Clair walked up to the stadium. She looked at her oppenet. The man had big mussels. ' Probably overcompensating for something." Clair thought.
" Go hariyama." The man said.
" Come out Heart." She said as her Milotic appeared.
" Begin." The Ref said.
" Use Close combat." The man said. The Haryiama ran towards Milotic.
Milotic dogged the attack. " Use Dragon tail." She said. Milotic's tail turned blue as it swung at the Hariyama Hitting it in the body making if fall backwards. " Dragon pulse." She said. A blue and purple beam came out of Milotics mouth and flew straight towards the Hariyama. Hariyama took the direct hit making him faint. " Come back when your more of a challenge." She said as she walked away.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri who entered the building, he decided to meet up with the girl he met earlier, he came out to the audience stand in time to witness the first match, and an outstanding Salamance. And the victory of Riley, Kiri recognized as the man he saved once the building went down "So he's the tournament champion of Jhoto...that Salalmance is the first hurdle we're going have to cross"

Kiri's Pichu hoped from his shoulder to his hat and sparked his electric cheeks Kiri then stared at Riley with a look he wouldn't see from anyone else the only expression that could get recieved from his look was basically saying I'm the man who's going to beat you and become the champion

Kiri then took a deep breath and looked around to a news cast currently running to find any trainer to broadcast for a simple quote

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen looked at Kiri with sympathy. "I hope we get to battle!" She said.
Chu waved bye to Pichu. "Chu, Raichu!"
Aspen laughed. "Good luck Kiri!" She noticed the newscasters. Ugh, she thought, Hope they don't decide to interview me.

 

[Insanity Flight]

The new cast comes in and spits Kiri with a young girl, a women with a microphone comes out in front of the cameras filming the boy and girl "Are you two trainers participating in the tournament?" The women asked as this was currently being broadcasted at the stadium sort of as a intermission between fight arranging and ending

Kiri nodded "Of course and she's.." Kiri saw the face of dissatisfaction on Aspen's face and decided to keep his mouth shut and have her say what she wants to say

 

[Fishykarp]

"Good luck" Alex said "I have stuff to do at home i can't stay to watch you. I'll watch it on the TV"
"I don't know about this now" Joe said "so much dangerous stuff has happened"
Alex laughed "that doesn't sound like the Joe I know at all" he said "go out there and win that tournament"
Joe laughed too and began to run to the tournament buildings "thanks Alex!" He shouted "see you later!"

Alex shook his head slightly, and smiled as he boarded a plane back to Kanto where he lived.

Joe ran excitedly into the building, where he looked at the match ups.
(We just make up the npcs right?)

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen frowned at the reporters. "Yep, what he said." Chu's cheeks began to crackle. "And I'm really not feeling like an interview right now, so, yeah," She said.

 

[Jagson]

Drew watched the battles unfold. First Riley won his match no shocker there. then secondly that Clair girl won her match. 'Interesting.' He said. he might have to keep an eye on her. After he walked to the concesion stand and back with a choclate Ice cream cone. He started to lick the cone only for it to Levitate into Tess's hands.
" I thought we went through this phase already." Drew said looking at the mischievous Gardivour.
" Yeah but." She said via telepathy before licking the cone. " I'm always going to be stealing your sweets." She said with a grin on her face.
He takes it from her and licks it. They continue to do this while waiting for the next match to begin.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri looked at the cameras and nodded "There you have it, let's go Aspen" Kiri began to walk away as the reporter didn't go away

"Can we get a line from you since your already on air!" Throughout the halls of the collesuem there were small panels of television

Kiri looked back with a delightful smile and Pichu had a confident look in his face "I'm going to win the Hoenn Tournament, and beat anyone I need to!" Kiri said naively knowing he probably made an enemy from various people

"There you have it folks a competitors declaration with victory we'll be back with hopefully a quote from the Jhotto champion in a bit" the reporter said as the women then signaled to cut the cameras

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen sighed. "Well, there's that. You'd better go to your battle, I don't want to make you late." Chu nodded. "We'll see you after your battle. According to the screen over there, there's a couple more people before I'm up," She said, pointing to a gigantic screen that was currently broadcasting the battle que. "Good luck!"

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri who abruptly left Aspen, he ran to the stadium entrance. The Announcer began to announce the next battle

"We've seen 2 amazing battles! Let's see if we can go three for three! In about 3 minutes we'll see who'll be fighting who"

Kiri who was at the final hall which would leave to the open spot where he'd be fighting, in his way stood a man probably a bit older then Kiri as he barked at him "Oi! You ain't getting past me, I'll stop and end you here before you even start"

Kiri tried to walk past him "Sorry! I reall have to.."

All of a sudden a Gilgar leaps towards the Pichu, his wings glowed as Kiri ducked and Pichu leaped into the air barely dodging the steel wing, Kiri looked back at the man as Gilgar positioned itself in front of the man as the man lifted his hand "Gilgar Steel Wing!"
Kiri shouted in synchronization "Pichu Iron Tail!!"

2 Minutes Later

"And it's time for our competitors to come and show us what their made off!" The announcer proclaimed as he then looked over to one side "Here we have the first challenger, Blake!!"

A blonde man walked onto the stage, as he smirked confidently and waved towards the audience

"And in the other corner we have the trainer who promised a declaration of victory himself....."

No one came on stage as silence filled the stadium, pure silence as Blake stared at the corner waiting for someone to come on

"It seems Kiri Kelain hasn't come out yet...will he be disqualified for Tardiness???"

The arbitrator looked over at the corner and began to raise his flag "Due to tardiness, Kiri Kelain is dis-"

"Hold on!!!" Kiri ran into the stage and panted a bit as he looked up at arbitrator "Kiri Kelain is here!!!" Kiri's slightly injured Pichu chirped and stood beside Kiri

1 minute earlier

"Now finish it with a thunderbolt!!!" Kiri shouted as Pichu's electric cheeks sparked and later followed by Gilgar collapsing to the ground fainted as he's retrieved back into the ball

"I-It's my loss..." The man said as he fell to his knees, and Kiri began to walk by him

"Make sure you win idiot! For everyone who couldn't get badges like me.." The man shouts as Kiri stopped for a moment

"I promise.." He continued walking and he simply said "Go to the Sinnoh Tournement...and start right now to get your badges"

Aspen watched Kiri demolish the man nervously. She had called out all of her Pokemon to watch. "Jeesh, guys, I hope he doesn't sweep us like that!" They all nodded. "Two more people, then we're up!" Aspen's hands began to shake. Ashley grabbed one of her hands in its paw.
"Phlosion Ty Ty Phlosion," It said, evidently trying to comfort her. Chu followed suit. Aspen gave a nervous smile.
"You guys are right. Let's do this thing! Oh, wait, there's two more people that have to battle before us... crud. Well, better get snacks to last us," she finished with a grin. Aspen went to the concession stand. "I'd like a dozen Pokepuffs and a milkshake, thanks!" She placed her order.
"Comin' right up!" The man said. In two minutes, Aspen and her pokemon had their snacks and were heading back to their spots to watch the tournament commence.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Blake sent out a Hitmonlee, as it ferociously kicked in the air to showcase how strong it is. Kiri smiled and reached into his pocket and took out a Pokeball "Pichu take a break..Come on out Sceptile!!"

A Sceptile appeared on the stadium, it boldly adjusted a scarf tied to his wrist tightening it to increase his motivation

The Hitmonlee began to leap towards the Sceptile "High Jump Kickk!!!" The Hitmonlee stuck his foot out as it was flying towards Sceptile

"Wait...." Kiri said as the Sceptile stood its ground as the kick came close and closer, as it was pretty much a meter away from Scpetile

"Now Leaf Blade!!!" Sceptile's bladee from his elbows extended and in a swift cut he cut Hitmonlee's chest, the Hitmonlee's kick completely missed impacting the ground receiving heavy recoil and knocked out from the leaf blade

The Ref shouted "Hitmonlee is unable to battle, Sceptile wins making Kiri the winner!"

The announcer shouted "It's over! Kiri advances from the Prelims! By waiting patiently and also great timing and teamwork he was able to one shot Hitmonlee! Simply Amazing!"
