Zack woke up, dizzy and his ears were ringing. He looked around, to find he wasn't outside anymore. He was strapped to a stretcher type of thing, propped up right so it seemed like he was standing. No matter how much Zack pulled and struggled, the straps wouldn't budge. He was in some sort of weird laboratory. The walls were a dark granite grey. There were pipes and giant computer screens along the walls and ceiling as well as some numbers along some of the gadgetries implemented in the walls. There were several TV monitors hanging from the top of the wall, letting off a blue aura of brightness to light the room. Next to him were to giant blue tubes, filled with strange liquid. He focused his attention to a monitor on the wall. It was showing what seemed like Zack's bio, vitals, x-ray, and... And a progress bar? It was labeled DNA fusion process, 68% complete. That unsettled him. On a bigger monitor there was a bunch of numbers and statistics Zack couldn't understand. All he wanted was to get out. His pokeballs were gone, he still didn't have his sunglasses, and his head hurt from the punch.
"Alright, I want out of here," Zack said to the empty room as he looked around. He then had an idea. Whoever had captured him did a sloppy job, because his red gem keychain was still on him. He unhooked it from his pocket, and opened up a secret pocket knife. Then he began working away at his leather confindments.
After a long cutting process, Zack finally got his arms and legs free. He stepped of the stretcher, and unhooked the tubes going into his arms. He felt really weird. It must have been from whatever was being pumped into him, and whatever it was, he was scared to find out what it did to him. Regardless, Zack put away his ruby keychain and walked out of the room and into a hallway labeled Area 4.
"Where the hell am I? And where is my pokemon?" Zack asked himself as he walked down the hallway. The floorboards had small holes in them, and beneath were wires and a couple lights. He suddenly heard noise coming from down around the corner, and it was closing in fast. Zack needed a place to hide... In an empty hallway. Oh shit.
