Tom fell down. Tom has fainted. "Aw man! Return Tom!" Said mike. "That was a good match! I may have won if I used Laxer, but he was asleep!" He turns to laxer realizing in was a doll and Laxer was attempted to pick a fight with Lo. Mike picked up the Munchlax and toke him away from Lo. " Well Thel, I'm looking forward to the next battle we have! But next time, I will win!" Mike said happily. Laxer found a way to escape and walked up to Lo again and stared at him.

Lo glared at the munchlax from his spot on the roof and leaned into his trainer's touch when she scratched the top of his head. Eve picked up her pokemon and carefully made her way down, so that she could battle the other unova born trainer. Lo was put down at her feet and she pulled out another pokeball from her bag, "ready"?
Thel would nod, and chuckle at Laxer's escape. "Maybe next time, Mike!" He'd then reach into his backpack, and pull out a Full Restore, and spray the medicine on his Pokemon. "You did great, Water Hazard. Take a good rest, I may need you again soon," Thel would say as he pulls out Water Hazard's Pokeball and returns him.
Fin decided to step further away from the battle due to getting hit by snow a few times from the blizzard. Sure it didn't hurt but it was rather annoying and Sparky was trying to pull him from the hair away from the two Pokémon. However upon stepping back the battle finished, Fin unfolding his arms and nodding towards them both in a way of saying it was a good fight.
Stepping forwards he'd smile lightly at Thel and then have a questioning look, feeling the urge to want to battle him as well just to see what other Pokémon he had. "Reckon there's time for another battle"

Thel would look at Fin and smirk, taking his Pokemon back out. "Whaddaya say, Water Hazard? Up for another fight?" Water Hazard would stare at Fin, and lift his arms up in the air, and enthusiastically say, "Feraligatr!" Thel would chuckle. "Sounds like a 'Yes' to me. Alright, let's get this battle underway!"
Valmont looked at Eve who asked him if he was ready, "yes I am" he said as he sent out a toxicroak, "both poison types and this is my cousin's poke Mon not mine, meaning that I don't know it well and that gives you a slight advantage" valmont said as Lunar stood behind his trainer
"Alright cool!" With a happy nod he'd walk backwards away from Thel until there was enough distance between them for their Pokémon to freely move about, Fin having a thoughtful look on his face before a slight smile came onto his face. Time for some mind games
He grabbed a Pokeball off his belt and then released what was inside, it being an Infernape who stood tall with a confident look despite the type advantage. "Alright Blitz, speeds on your side and no blast burn okay" The fire type looked back to Fin and nodded, knowing what was going on in his trainer mind and what strategy he had. Fin never went into a battle without a strategy and if Thel wanted to win he'd have to figure out that strategy quick. "Who moves first"

"I guess I'll move first." Thel would say. "Water Hazard, use Ancient Power, directly at Infernape." The large Pokemon would roar, and rocks would materialize, launching themselves at the Infernape.
"Okey, you get first move," Eve smiled and Lo went to stand infront of her. The poison type and trainer both in a relaxed stance as they watched their rival. Lo bounced from foot to foot, ready to take what ever the toxicroak was going to throw at him. Eve placed the pokeball she was holding back into her bag and shouldered it so that no sneaky munchlaxs could get inside.
Acient power wouldn't be super effective thanks to Bitz's also being a fighting type but Fin knew it could still do a lot of damage if it hit and so he'd rather Blitz try counter it than try dodge it. "Blitz hit them away with mach punch!" The Infernape's fist would clench and the light up before he started to swing them at the rocks being launched at him, knocking some away and demolishing others however one managed to get through, hitting his shoulder and causing the infernape to pause which allowed the other rocks to hit him and send him skidding back to Fin.

Valmont smirked and shouted an order, "Hemlock use Fake out!" He comanded, the fists and feet of the poison type glowed white as he dashed at Lo and attempted to strike him as he ran past the opposing poison type
Due to Water Hazard's ability, Sheer Force, Ancient Power would've done more damage than normal. As Infernape neared, Thel saw his chance. "Alright, Water Hazard, use Hydro Cannon!" When Blitz was right in front of Water Hazard, he'd let loose a powerful Hydro Cannon straight into the Infernape's chest.
Lo flinched back as the attack hit him and shook his head, Not able to use crunch like Eve had asked him. When Eve called out to him it took a while for him to get back in the game. The poison type glared at the toxicroak and nodded to Eve when she asked if he was okey, Eve looked at Valmont with a smile,"let's do thing again. Lo use flame burst".

Fin's eyes widened in shock as Thel said his next command, knowing the move would faint Blitz if it landed so he had to move. "Roll right!" Blitz barley had time to do so and was only halfway through rolling when the hydro canon hit the ground where he once was, the force of it hitting the ground pushing Blitz away and causing him to tumble on the ground. It didn't directly hit him sure but Blitz had still took damage from tumbling along the floor due to the Hydro canon.

Just from the stance Blitz took at the beginning of the battle, Thel knew Fin was no mediocre trainer. He figured the smartest idea was to, as always, observe everything closely, and know what to do to counter it. He stood there, watching Water Hazard take the Thunder Punch. After he had recovered from the use of Hydro Cannon, he called out Water Hazard's next move. "Hit Infernape with a Seismic Toss!"
When Infernape hit Feraligator he had went past the water type and so upon landing he had to quickly to turn around only to be met with the towering figure of the water crocodile. "Thunder punch as much as you can" With gritted teeth and an uneasy look Blitz's hands sparked with electricity again, punching the Feraligator and being sure to keep his arms above his waist when he was grabbed. He got 5 hurried punches with not momentum behind them until he was tossed, his landing creating a slight crack in the bridges floor.
Fin would sigh slightly and lift up Blitz's Poke ball about to return it until he saw it beginning to push itself into a sitting position. Despite it being not fainted Fin returned the fire type anyways, looking down at the Poke ball with a warm smile and saying quietly. "You did your best, I just under estimated him" Sparky his Pachirisu also gave the Pokeball containing Blitz a hug before hopping on Fin's head again. Thel would nod. "Yeah, he is. But I gotta hand it to you, Blitz can sure take a hit. Never seen an Infernape take that much heat and still manage to stand." He'd look at his Pokemon and say, "You sure pulled through Water Hazard. Get some rest." He'd lift Water Hazard's Pokeball, and return him.
"I wonder when the professor will arrive?" asked Mike. "Its been awhile now!" Mike decided to take this time to train with Tom. He sent Tom out and trained with dodging skills to avoid devastating moves, like in the battle.

As Mike spoke, Thel would frown. "Yeah, we've been battling for a while now, and he still hasn't showed up yet. Could there have been a delay or something?" Thel would look around, seeing if anyone would have known as to where the Professor was, or why he was taking so long to arrive. "We should have at least been informed that we needed to proceed to his lab, right?"
For a second he'd have a surprised look before he shook his head casually and grinned. "Dude you have not seen the Sinnoh league, there was this guy, I can't remember his name but his Infernape took a double edge, multiple giga drains and a Thunder attack, all whilst taking recoil from a Flare blitz's AND fighting off toxic" Fin had gotten a bit excited recalling what he had once seen so he took a moment to calm his inner geek and then speak again. "But yeah Blitz's is rather stubborn ... advantage but a disadvantage at times"
"I wonder if he has other people to see?" Mike said. "Or he may have just forgotten about us." Laxer nodded. "I think we should go into the lab just to see this guy!" Mike suggested. Laxer was fast asleep when he finished his sentence. "hold on a second. Hey laxer! I have a Pokepuff for you!" Laxer got up and grabbed it. He then ate it and fell back to sleep.
He'd look at Fin, and say "I haven't watched League Tournaments in a while. Too busy either participating in them or preparing for them." He'd toss Water Hazard's Pokeball up and down, bored. *Where could the Professor be? I need to get going. I can't waste the whole day on this dock.* He'd then look at Mike. "Maybe. But I doubt he forgot about us. We were told explicitly to wait here, and I plan on doing so."
"why don't we have a little picnic?" Mike suggested. "I am starting to get hungry!" Laxer nodded very fast. Laxer just wants to eat more food. "I have a picnic basket, and blanket!" Mike said. "I also think this will be a good time to meet each others Pokemon!" Laxer attempted to grab the picnic basket. Mike pulled it away. "Laxer wait until they are ready!" Mike said to Laxer. "La lax!" said laxer very madly.
Thel nodded at the idea. He was getting Hungry, having not eaten since Water Hazard carried him over the water behind the boat, all the way from Cianwood to the Jenpa Region. "I agree. Water Hazard, it's break time!" Thel would throw Water Hazard's Pokeball up, and it would open mid-air. The water Pokemon would look around anxiously, knowing break time also meant "food time."
"Come on out! Picnic Time!" said mike throwing 2 Pokeballs into the air. The first one released Tom and the other released a Beedrill. "Oh you may not have meet Driller yet. Well this is Driller! She loves to fight" at that moment Driller was looking for people to fight and saw Water hazard. "Driller not now." Mike said. Mike puts down the blanket and takes out chicken, eggs, and 24 donuts.He gives it all to Laxer who starts eating. Then mike takes out another chicken, more donuts, some cookies, and Pokemon Food. "Eat up!" Mike said. Driller starts eating fast, so he can battle. Tom takes it slow eating at A normal pace.
Thel and Water Hazard would approach the Picnic basket. Thel would eat a moderate amount of food. Water Hazard, however, seemed to be competing with Laxer to see who could eat the most before the food was gone. "I swear, if there wasn't a Munchlax somewhere in Water Hazard's blood-line, I'd be amazed."
"Oh, right noted" That would probably explain why Thel was so good at battling, due to his pure devotion to the cause, to making his Pokémon stronger and better. Hearing the suggestion for a picnic he'd shrug and stay by Thel's side, figuring it was a good idea to do whilst they waited for the professor. Fin sat down on the picnic blanket, not eating anything since he didn't feel that hungry however Sparky was prepared to eat a lot, the small Squirrel having a strangely large appetite.
An appetite that wouldn't be filled as by the time he'd hopped off Fin's shoulder and towards the donuts Water Hazard, Tom and Driller had eaten most of them. Thel would chuckle at his Pokemon's competitiveness and determination to win. "You know," Thel would begin. "If Vernum were here, neither of you would stand a chance in this contest."
Kori walked over to their mini-picnic with her Pokemon behind her. She had just finished watching their multiple battles, scoping out their battle strategies. She could barely handle her teammates while they were watching, for they were all so jumpy at the sight of the battle, but she did however. "I don't think I introduced myself properly," she reported as she approached the group "My name is Kori, Korianna Salice." She announced to no one in particular "These are my partners, Blizzard, Rumble, Verdant, Siren, Quill, and finally Diva," she explained pointing to each of them "May I sit down?" She asked.
"Of course. I don't think there'll be much food left for you, though. My name's Thel," Thel would say, introducing himself. He'd then nod to the Feraligatr. "This is my Feraligatr, Water Hazard." He'd look over all of Kori's Pokemon. "Strong-looking team you got there, Kori. Don't suppose you'd be up for a battle with one of us?"
While his Pachirisu slowly ate a donut Fin would turn and look up to Kori, smiling gently and nodding in greeting as he looked to her team. After Thel had introduced himself he'd gesture to himself and then to Sparky as he spoke. "Finion but call me Fin since its shorter and easier and this Is Sparky also I'd be up for a battle with you if you wish" While he didn't know for sure he could've sworn that she had been here the whole time, meaning she had watched them battle and probably figured out a rough idea of their battling styles.
"Nice to meet you Kori! Names mike!" Mike said. "These are Laxer, Driller, and Tome! I will really enjoy a battle! Battles hep make bonds strong!" Laxer was starting to fight over food with Water Hazard. "Laxer!" Mike said. "That is rude!" Laxer did not listen and continued trying to get the food.
"Sure that'd be fun" she replied to Thel's question "I'll start against you" she acknowledged, staring at Thel. She turned to look at her Pokemon, contemplating who to pick, then said "All right, let's go Verdant." Verdant nodded with a strong gleam in her eyes, determined to win. Together Kori and Verdant walked over to the other side of the bridge and Kori called out "You ready!?"
Thel would watch Water Hazard fighting with Munchlax. "Water Hazard..." he'd say in a stern voice. Water Hazard would look back, and let go. "Here, take this," I'd say grabbing a donut and tossing it to him. He'd catch it in his jaws, happily. Water Hazard would sneak a quick glare as Laxer.
He'd then look at Kori, and stand up. "That depends. Water Hazard, you ready?" Water Hazard would roar his name, and stand up, ready to fight.
