"Scrafty huh? Alright, Raichu, use Volt Switch!" Robby called out with a smirk, Raichu responded quickly and gave Mitchell no time to react, Raichu hit Scrafty with the attack and went back to Robby. "Come on out, Charizard!" Robby exclaimed as he threw the Pokeball and a powerful Charizard emerged, it shot a Flamethrower into the sky.

"Nice tactic, Volt Switching was a great idea, but bringing out Charizard was not." Mitchell said with a sly grin. "Scrafty, use Stone Edge!" Mitchell yelled, extending his fist. Scrafty hit the ground and shot a series of rocks at Charizard.

"Charizard, dodge!" Robby called out. Charizard roared and quickly soared between the rocks and got up close to Scrafty, "Now, use Flamethrower!" Robby yelled, punching the air, Charizard shot the Flamethrower at Scrafty and hit it point blank.

Mitchell smirked, "Scrafty, hang in there and use Crunch!" the trainer exclaimed, Scrafty shot out of the smoke and used Crunch on Charizard and held on as it flew into the air. Scrafty hung on for dear life as Charizard tried to shake it off until it was hit by a burn!

"Now, Charizard, grab it!" Robby exclaimed, Charizard roared and flew at the falling Scrafty and grabbed it, "Now, thrown it!" Robby yelled, Charizard spun in mid air and threw the opponent on to the ground, causing a huge crash. "Keep up the pressure and finish it with Air Slash!" Robby yelled, Charizard didn't let Scrafty have a break and shot a powerful Air Slash at it, creating another explosion.

The referee ran over to Scrafty as the smoke cleared, it tried to stand but was hit by the burn and knocked out. "Scrafty, is unable to battle! Charizard is the winner!" The referee yelled as he raised his flags. Charizard roared again and shot another Flamethrower into the sky.

Mitchell grit his teeth and withdrew Scrafty and drew a second Pokeball. "Samurott, go!" Mitchell yelled, a tall Samurott appeared on the field. "Use Surf!" Mitchell yelled, the Samurott cried out as it summoned a giant wave and launched it at Charizard.

Robby grit his teeth, "A Water-Type." Robby muttered. "Charizard, use Blast Burn on the field!" Robby cried out on desperation. Charizard roared again and punched the ground as it used Blast Burn on the field which -thankfully- evaporated most of the Water, but left Charizard opened.

"Ha, Samurott Water Pulse!" Mitchell ordered, Samurott shot the attack and hit Charizard, causing some severe damage.

"Sandslash return," Davis muttered as he recalled his Alolan Sandslash, "Alright, Crabominable let's go!" the Pokeball burst open revealing a large crab-like Pokemon covered in fur. "Let's see what the Pokedex has to say about this?" Landon muttered as he scanned the Pokemon with his Pokedex, "Crabominable, the Woolly Crab Pokemon, and the evolved form of Crabrawler. It aimed for the top but got lost and ended up on a snowy mountain. Being forced to endure the cold, this Pokemon evolved and grew fur." Landon took out a Pokeball and quickly recalled Slaking due to the type-disadvantage, "Alright Swift, you're up!" Landon whipped the Pokeball sending out his Eevee. "You're Normal-Type won't win this time!" Davis commented tauntingly, "Crabominable, use Hammer Arm!" Crabominable quickly closed in of Swift, it was faster than it looked, it swung on of it's arms down on Swift with great strength. "Swift Double Team quick!" Landon called out just in time, Swift quickly made fake copies of itself that took the hit from Crabominable, "Great, now use Iron Tail!" all of the Eevee copies dove at Crabominable hitting it with a powerful Iron Tail attack but it didn't seem to do any damage against the large Pokemon, "Crabominable, Hammer Arm again!" Crabominable swung it's huge arm hitting Swift and causing major damage. "Swift return!" Landon called out as he quickly returned Swift before it could take any more damage. "It's time," Landon muttered as he grabbed his next Pokeball, "Alright, Mizu it's you're turn!" Landon cried as he whipped his last Pokeball releasing the most powerful Pokemon he had, his Empoleon, "Mizu use Metal Claw!" Landon shouted, Mizu's fins were cloaked in a metal layer as it slashed at Crabominable causing lots of damage. "It's a steel type so it's still weak to fighting type attacks, so let's keep using Hammer Arm," Crabominable swung it's arm with great force behind the attack at Mizu. "Block that attack now!" Mizu quickly countered the attack being pushed back a little but still stopping the attack, "Now use Hydro Cannon!" Mizu summoned a ball of water energy and launched it at Crabominable from close range knocking it out in the process. "Crabominable is unable to battle, Empoleon is the winner!" the referee announced.

"Charizard, return!" Robby yelled as he recalled Charizard and threw out another Pokeball, "Raichu, you're up again!" Robby called out Raichu popped out of the Pokeball, ready to fight again. "Use Thunderbolt!" Robby exclaimed, "Raiiiichuuuu!" Raichu yelled as it shot a Thunderbolt at Samurott.

"Raichu again, huh? Samurott, counter that Thunderbolt with Ice Beam!" Mitchell yelled, Samurott obeyed and the two attacks collided, neutralizing each other. "Now, use Surf again!" Mitchell order, Samurott summoned a giant wave and shot it at Raichu.

Robby smirked, "Raichu, take that wave!" Robby exclaimed, Raichu nodded and began surfing on the Surf attack, the crowd went wild when this happened. "Now, control the water with Psychic and send it back to Samurott!" Robby yelled, Raichu did so and sent the wave back at Samurott who was a little more than surprised and was engulfed. "Now, use Thunder!!!" Robby yelled as he raised his fist into the air. Raichu yelled out as it summoned a giant bolt of electricity from the sky and shot it at the wave, which connected it to Samurott doing severe damage!

"Samurott!" Mitchell yelled, Samurott barked and slowly got up, electricity surged around it. Mitchell grit his teeth, "This'll be Samurott's last attack." Mitchell mumbled, "So let's make it count! Samurott, use Megahorn!" Mitchell yelled, Samurott shook off the paralysis and shot at Raichu and hit it with the Mega Horn doing some super effective damage, Raichu stumbled back a bit.

"Raichu, I know you can hang in there, finish it with Psyshock!" Robby yelled as he extended his palm. Raichu grit its teeth and shot the attack at Samurott who almosted dodged but was affected by the paralysis this time and was knocked out by the Psychic attack.

"Samurott is unable to battle! Raichu wins!" The referee yelled as he raised his flags, Mitchell recalled Samurott and drew another Pokeball, "I'm impressed you've been able to defeat those two so easily, but it's time for a major comeback!" Mitchell yelled, "Hydreigon!" Mitchell yelled as he chucked the Pokeball and an intimidating Hydreigon appeared on the field. "Use Dark Pulse!" Mitchell ordered, Hydreigon obeyed and shot the powerful Dark-Type attack at Raichu with incredible power.

"Raichu try and counter with Thunderbolt!" Robby yelled, gritting his teeth. Raichu clashed attacks with the Hydreigon, but was overpowered due to the overwhelming force of the attack and hit for MAJOR damage with the Dark Pulse. Raichu was shot back and was unable to battle.

"Raichu is unable to battle! Hydreigon is the winner!" The referee declared. Mitchell smirked and Robby recalled Raichu and drew another Pokeball.

"That's crazy that your Hydreigon is that strong, but this is the end of the line for you! Milotic I choose you!" Robby yelled, Milotic appeared on the field. "Milotic, use Ice Beam!" Robby ordered, Milotic nodded and shot the ice attack at Hydreigon and hit a direct hit.

"Heh, Hydreigon won't go down that easily!" Mitchell exclaimed with a wild look in his eyes, "Hydreigon, use Dragon Pulse!" Mitchell ordered, Hydreigon obeyed and shot the Dragon Pulse at Milotic.

"That won't work! Milotic, counter with Hydro Pump, then use Ice Beam on the field!" Robby exclaimed with a smirk, the two attacks neutralized each other and kicked up a bunch of dust, Milotic then quickly covered the field in ice to increase its movement speed, then shot through the cover of the dust at Hydreigon. "Use Dragon Tail!" Robby yelled as Milotic jumped above the opponent and its tail glew green as it hit Hydreigon with lots of force.

"What?!" Mitchell exclaimed, "Hydreigon!" Mitchell yelled as his Pokemon was sent crashing to the ground, but was not out of the fight. Hydreigon slowly flew back up in the air and Mitchell smiled, "Let's do this Hydreigon!" Mitchell yelled as he pressed his Z-Ring and did the movements of the Dragon-Type Z-Move. "Devastating Drake!!!" Mitchell yelled as Hydreigon charged up the attack.

"Shoot, Milotic, let's do the same!" Robby said as he pulled out a light blue Z-Crystal from his pocket and began to do a new set of movements. "Subzero Slammer!!!!" Robby cried out as Milotic was shot into the air on a pillar of ice and shot a giant beam at Hydreigon who also shot its Z-Move at the same time.

Both Z-Moves collided at the same time and created an explosion that could be seen miles away. Once the dust cleared, both Pokemon had fainted. "Milotic and Hydreigon are unable to battle! Since Robby has a Pokemon remaining, he is the victor!" The referee shouted, the crowd went wild and Robby's face appeared on the screen with 'victor' under the picture.

The trainers recalled their Pokemon and shook hands and waved to the crowd, "Good battle, Mitchell." Robby said with a smile, "It really was." Mitchell said before turning back and walking to exit. "There it is folks! The first battle of the Alolan League has been decided and Robby moves onto the next round!" The announcer yelled into the microphone enthusiastically, the crowd cheered again.

Robby walked to the exit and was greeted by Serena, "Good job! That was a great battle!" Serena said as the two walked out of the stadium together, "Thanks, but that guys was really strong." Robby said with as chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. "Hey, let's go watch the rest of Landon's battle!" Robby exclaimed as he realized Landon was battling too, he grabbed Serena's hand and pulled her into the stadium Landon was battling in.

"Slow down!" Serena said as they ran up the stair of the seats, Robby chuckled and managed to find Lyra in the stands. "How's it going?" Robby asked as he looked toward the battle as he and Serena sat next to Lyra, "Hopefully we aren't late." Serena said with a sigh, "And only I can do that to you, not the other way around!" Serena exclaimed referring to her being dragged by the hand, "Haha, sorry about that." Robby said with a smile.

"Don't worry, Landon's already beaten two Pokemon without losing any yet," Lyra replied to Robby and Serena before directing her attention back to the battle. "Alright, Machamp let's go!" Davis yelled sending out a Machamp with two yellow gloves on it. "Hey what's up with the gloves?" Landon muttered to himself before shaking his head so he wouldn't get distracted, "We'll beat this thing as easy as the other two, Mizu let's show everyone one of our famous techniques!" he declared, Mizu nodded happily, "Mizu get close to Machamp!" Landon ordered, Mizu ran straight at Machamp but Machamp made no effort to dodge, "Now it's time for our Siesmec Toss!" Landon exclaimed. "But Empoleon can't learn Siesmec Toss!" Davis called back. "We'll see about that!" Landon replied, "Now Mizu grab Machamp and use Aqua Jet!" Mizu grabbed onto Machamp, it still made no effort to fight back, the two were quickly wrapped up in a torrent of water before Mizu launched them both into the air, "Now bring it home!" the two crashed into the battlefield creating a large cloud of dust. When the dust had cleared both Pokemon were still willing to battle, "And that was just a warmup," Landon declared. "Not bad, but Machamp has a few tricks up it's sleeve to," Davis replied, "Now Machamp, Thunder Punch!" Machamp quickly ran straight at Empoleon as it's fist became covered in electricity. "Dodge it using Aqua Jet!" Landon called in response, Empoleon shot itself away in a veil of water but Machamp quickly closed in matching Mizu's speed completely and slamming into it using Thunder Punch, "What the," Landon stuttered as Mizu was hit by the Thunder Punch, "How did Machamp match Mizu's speed?" he questioned. Davis smirked, "My Machamp's ability is No Guard, meaning all of it's attacks will hit but so will it's opponent's attacks," he explained as he revealed his Z-Ring with Fightinium Z in it, "Now then, let's use our most powerful move!" Davis made an X with his arms before punching the air in front of him, "All-Out Pummelling" Machamp quickly began firing fists of energy at Mizu dealing major damage to it before diving at it with the final blow. When the Z-Move had finished Mizu struggled to get up which led Landon to quickly return it to it's Pokeball so it could rest a bit, "You're Empoleon took on a Hammer Arm, Thunder Punch, and a Fighting Type Z-Move, I'm surprised that it's still standing," he commented.

"Well me and my Pokemon are full of surprises," Landon yelled as he grabbed Swift's Pokeball, "Alright Swift let's go!" Landon called as released his Eevee, "You're the only one who can defeat this Pokemon Swift, King can't move fast enough to defeat it, and Mizu can't take another hit right now," he muttered. "Wow, your Eevee is your only line of defence, you must be desperate," Davis taunted. "Okay, Swift use Iron Tail!" Landon ordered, Swift began charging at Machamp as it's tail was coated with iron. "Dynamic Punch!" Davis retaliated, Machamp almost seemed to have teleported in front of Swift using Dynamic Punch, Swift leaped up and swung down at Machamp's Dynamic Punch, using it to get over the muscular Pokemon. "Close Combat go!" Davis quickly ordered, Machamp began swinging at Swift but Swift countered back with Iron Tail providing a weak defence that was soon over powered. Machamp hit Swift hard sending it flying across the field and straight to Landon's feet. "Swift," Landon muttered as he fell to his knees, "I'm sorry I've pushed you so hard, that I haven't been a better trainer," he sobbed as he placed his hand on Swift. Swift slowly opened it's eyes and got up nudging it's head at Landon, "Swift, I'm glad to have you as one of my Pokemon," he replied as he got up, "We're not through yet!" Landon declared as Swift got into it's battle stance, "Alright Swift let's use Quick-" Landon was soon cut off by Swift who began glowing a bright white colour, "No way," he muttered. Swift's ears and tail became more rounded, ribbons emerged giving a sense of elegance and a bow formed below it's neck, the glow faded and revealed a pink Pokemon named Sylveon. "Swift, you evolved," Landon muttered, Sylveon looked back to Landon and nodded. "Alright then Swift, let's show them what you've got!" Landon cheered, Swift's ribbons quickly began spinning as a sparkling wind hit Machamp hard, causing lots of damage. "Machamp use Close Combat!" Davis yelled, Machamp charged at Swift jabbing and chopping with immense speed. "Grab it!" Landon called out, Swift's ribbons quickly grabbed Machamp's four arms, stopping it dead in it's tracks, "Now spin it around!" Swift use all of it's strength to lift Machamp into the air as it began spinning it like a propeller before slamming it against the ground. "Come on Machamp, get up!" Davis pleaded, Machamp quickly got up showing it wasn't going down yet, "Awesome, now use Bullet Punch!" Machamp speed was off the charts this time as it hit Swift hard with Bullet Punch. "We can use Speed Attacks too, Swift use Quick Attack!" Swift bolted towards Machamp, hitting it with a powerful attack, "My Sylveon has a cool ability too, it's called Pixilate, it turns all Normal Attacks into Fairy Attacks when used," Landon explained as he smiled, "Which means this attack may be the last, Swift use Last Resort!" Landon called out, Swift became cloaked in a white light as it charged and slammed into Machamp causing major damage and knocking it our in the process.

"Machamp is unable to battle, Sylveon is the winner, which means the victor is Landon from Twinleaf Town!" the referee declared. Davis recalled his Machamp as Landon walked over to him with on of Swift's ribbons wrapped around his arm, "Hey Davis, thanks for the great battle," Landon thanked as the two shook hands.

Robby and Serena both clapped as Landon won the battle, "Man, Robby, you have some competition. None of his Pokemon fainted during that battle." Serena said with a smirk, teasing him.

"Hey, it's not my fault the guy I went up against was pretty strong." Robby shot back, but with a smile, as he knew she was only joking. "Alright, we should probably meet Landon at the exit of the stadium. Robby said as he and Serena stood up. "Let's move out team!" Robby called out as he raised his fist in the air and began walking to where Landon would be waiting for them.

Serena stayed back with Lyra, "He can be so childish at times.. But I guess boys are like that." She said with a faint smile as she began walking a few paces behind Robby.

"Yeah, I guess," Lyra replied as she got up and followed Serena to the stadium's exit. "Congrats on the win!" Lyra complimented as she saw Landon coming out of the stadium. "Thanks," Landon replied as he gave Lyra a high five on his way out, "It wasn't easy that's for sure." Lyra laughed, "Yeah but Swift finally evolved, and that's a second win for the books," she added. Landon smiled as they made their way back to the Pokemon Center, Landon handed his Pokeballs to Nurse Joy when he got to the desk and not to long after they were completely healed. Landon and Lyra both looked at one of the nearby screens to see that the last battle had just ended and the second round matches were being selected, "Alright I'm not going to be battling again until tomorrow," Landon commented before grinning, "Which means that there has to be awesome places to eat!" he cheered. "Alright then, let's go get some food, Alolan style!" Lyra cheered with him.

Robby healed up his Pokemon and walked back over to Landon, Lyra, and Serena, "Food sounds great." Robby said with a smile, "I'm up for something to eat." Serena said, agreeing with the rest of the group.

"So, where should we go?" Serena asked, she had seen so many restaurants but didn't know which one to choose, "I'll leave that up to Landon as congratulations for Swift evolving." Robby said with smirk, he mainly did this because he also had no idea where to go.

"Let's go there," Landon pointed towards a restaurant with an Alolan Exeggutor picture at the top of the building. Once they had all gotten in they were almost immediately seated. A waiter came by handing everyone a menu, telling them that he'd return soon to take their orders. "Hey Landon look up there," Lyra commented as she pointed to a nearby TV. On the TV was an anchorman was a picture of a man wearing a skull mask with red eyes, he had a sweater with a skull and crossbones on it, and black sweat pants, "Attention to all trainers, beware anyone looking like this," the anchorman began, "A trainer going by the name of Crossbone has been stealing other trainers Pokemon and was last seen on Ula'ula Island, trainers are asked to keep all Pokemon inside of their Pokeballs at all times!" he finished before the news had ended.

"More Pokemon thieves?" Robby asked after giving the waiter Serena and his orders, "He looks like those Skull people." Serena said as she had seen some on the way here, "But they weren't causing trouble, they were just hanging out by this trailer." She added.
"I hope that this doesn't interrupt the league." Robby said as he looked away from the tv as the newscast had ended, "That would make it just like the Kalos League then.." Serena said quietly, remembering the moment Team Flare attacked, Robby placed his hand on her shoulder, "Huh?" She asked.
"Don't worry, I won't let that happen again." Robby said with a smile, Serena smiled and nodded.

"Any way, Landon, our next big goal is the Semi-Finals! But first, we have to make it there, I haven't noticed anyone super strong, but there is this guy who has a this strange Pokemon called Silvally... I think his name was Gladion?" Robby said with a questioning tone, "Then, there is my Ex-Rival Ben who beat me in the Kalos League. His signature Pokemon back then was a Blastoise," Robby continued, "Go figure, my starter was Charmander and his was Squirtle."

"Silva-what, that's not even a Pokemon name, probably just someone giving their Pokemon a cool name, when in reality it's just something like a Sylveon," Lyra commented as she and Landon ordered their food. Not long after the with what everyone had ordered, "As for Crossbone guy, I don't think we have to worry about him, he's probably just some Team Skull wannabe," Landon mentioned as he stuffed some garlic bread into his mouth. "Yeah whatever it is we won't need to worry, he's a thief, no gang, organization, or teammates to help him out," Lyra added as she grabbed some garlic bread before Landon could devour it all.

"Eh, maybe you're right. There wasn't any data about it in the Pokedex." Robby said as he began eating his food, he couldn't shake the feeling like he had heard that name before though... Silvally...
Serena quietly ate her food, it was a while since she had last had a meal with friends like this. She's been so busy lately with helping Professor Sycamore.

"Yeah, he didn't look like much of a threat compared to like Faba or Guzma." Robby said with a chuckle as he sipped his drink, "So, Lyra, What do you do with your Pokemon?" Robby asked, trying to learn a little bit more about Landon's girlfriend.
"Serena here is just a regular Pokemon Trainer and she's really tough but she enjoys helping out Professor Sycamore." Robby said, looking over to her.

"I don't do much," Lyra replied nervously as she took out a photo of herself alongside 6 Pokemon. In the photo was a Charizard, Ursaring, Meganium, Vaporeon, Scizor, and Lyra sitting in the middle of them all with an Azumarill sitting next to her, "Those are all of the Pokemon I've caught, which is less than Landon's caught," she explained as she glanced at Landon in a teasing way. "I've caught a few Pokemon," Landon mentioned nervously as he began drinking some chocolate milk, not making eye-contact with anyone. "I'm the one who works with your Pokemon to make sure they're all in peak physical condition," she teased, Landon continued to quietly drink his chocolate milk in silence, half embarrassed.

"So you train Landon's Pokemon for him? That's really cute." Serena said with a smile, "I guess I also take care of the Pokemon Robby 'abandons' when he starts a new journey." Serena added, it was her turn to tease Robby.

"I don't abandon them.. I just reset, you know?" Robby said as he pulled the same move as Landon and slowly continued to drink his Fresh Water.

Serena laughed and pulled out a picture with her and six other Pokemon, "These are me and my Pokemon." Serena said, with a smile. She had a Venusaur, Delphox, a female Meowstick, Eevee, and Robby's Milotic "I only have four but his Milotic always likes to go along with me so you could say we share her." Serena said, putting the picture away.

"Hey, pretty Pokemon for a pretty girl, right?" Robby asked... Did I really just say that out loud? Robby asked himself as his face slowly turned a bright red. Serena laughed and smiled, "Now we all know what you really think of me." She said.

Evon and Mallow chuckled from across the table. "Heh, yes, very funny." a voice said - one that didn't belong to Evon or Mallow. Evon's watch device was on the table, and a hologram of Professor Spruce was being generated by it.
"That's Serena, by the way." Evon said. "Robby's friend and caretaker."
Mallow chuckled again at that last phrase.

"Alright, then now that we're energized, I'm ready to battle and win the Alola League!" Landon cheered. Once the four were done at the restaurant Landon and Lyra left for their room in a nearby building. The rooms were almost all identical, there were two beds, a balcony, and a desk with a computer on it so that trainers could do any research that they felt necessary. Soon after the beautiful Alolan sun had fallen behind the shoreline giving a beautiful sunset to see. "So have you decided on what Pokemon you'll be battling with tomorrow?" Lyra asked as she and Landon got into their room. "Yeah, I've pieced together a team that won't lose tomorrow," Landon replied as he jumped onto his bed exhausted. "Alright, then we should probably get some sleep for tomorrow," Lyra yawned before pulling the covers over her and falling asleep.
That night Landon couldn't seem to fall asleep as his first round battle continued to replay in his head, "We could have lost because of me," he muttered as he slowly sat up and reached for his backpack. Landon slowly began digging through his bag making sure not to wake up Lyra before pulling out two cases, one was his Z-Crystal Case and the other was a Sinnoh Region Badge Case complete with 8 badges, Landon sat in silence for a moment as he examined the two cases, "We've made it this far haven't we," he whispered to himself, "And we won't give up yet until we are the Sinnoh Region Champion." He placed both cases back into his bag putting it back onto the floor before falling asleep.

"Hey, she's not my care taker!" Robby said to Evon, face still bright red. Serena laughed and continued to eat her food. Robby lightly smiled and finished his food, "Not if I win it first!" Robby exclaimed.
As they finished up, they followed Landon and Lyra to their hotel and said goodnight to them and Evon and Mallow before heading to their hotel.

Robby jumped on his bed and lied down, he had taken his shoes and bag off. "You sure you don't want your own room? I have enough money." Robby said as he sat up and looked to Serena, "No, it's alright. There's two beds in here for a reason." Serena said as she took off her shoes and bag and undid the braid in her hair before sitting down on her bed.

Robby looked over to her as she scrolled through the notifications on her Poketch. Robby blushed a little before lying back down and managing to fall right to sleep.
A few hours later, Robby reawoke, it was completely dark in the room and the clock read 2:07 AM. All the teen trainer could think about was the Semi-Finals, not the next round, not even the round after that but the Semi-Finals. Robby crawled out of bed and walked over to the pc and began creating teams for each round, after about an hour he was finally satisfied with them and crawled back into bed.

"Worried about a potential battle with Ben?" Serena asked, her eyes still closed. Robby sighed, "Yeah, just because I've always lost to him." Robby replied, "Don't worry. I know you can beat him now, you've changed so much since the last time I've seen you." Serena said in a tired voice. Robby smiled, "Thanks." And with that, the two fell back asleep...

Two days later...
Robby and Serena walked into the stadium together, it was finally time for the Semi-Finals and Landon was up first. "Let's try and get a good seat." Serena said, "Right." Robby replied as they walked around and found good enough seats, they saved one for Lyra; and Evon and Mallow if they showed up. "The battle should be starting in about 20 minutes." Robby said, sitting back in his chair.

Landon had been battling in his Semi-Final Round for a while and he had just defeated his opponent's second last Pokemon, leaving them both with 1 Pokemon remaining, Landon had his most powerful Pokemon Mizu, his Empoleon and was waiting for his opponent's last Pokemon. "Let's go Incineroar!" his opponent yelled throwing their Pokeball releasing a red and black tiger-like Pokemon. "What kind of Pokemon is that?" Landon asked as he took out his Pokedex. "Incineroar, the Heel Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Litten. After hurling ferocious punches and flinging furious kicks, it finishes opponents off by spewing fire from around its navel." the Pokedex explained. "Alright, Mizu use Aqua Jet to start off!" Landon ordered, Mizu quickly became wrapped in a veil of water as it shot itself at Incineroar. "Incineroar counter with Flare Blitz!" Incineroar quickly became surrounded in a blue flame as it dove towards Mizu, the two attacks collided resulting a a massive explosion of steam. "Ready Mizu!" Landon asked as he took out his Waterium Z and placed it in his Z-Ring, "Let's go!" he cheered as he and Mizu made the pose for the Water Z-Move, "Alright, full force, use Hydro Vortex!" Mizu summoned a massive tornado of water and sent it flying straight at Incineroar causing major damage and knocking it out. "Incineroar is unable to battle, Empoleon wins, which means the winner is Landon from Twinleaf Town!" the referee announced.

"Alright, folks, there we have it! Landon from Twinleaf Town moves onto the finals!" The Announcer yelled out and the crowd cheered, "Wooo! Landon!" Professor Kukui yelled. "Let's move onto the second round of the Semi-Finals." The Announcer said as he checked a piece a paper, "And it looks we have Robby and Ben both from Vaniville Town from the Kalos Region!" The Announcer called out.

Robby stood up from his seat, "Good luck, we'll be rooting for you." Serena said with a smile, "Right, I'll beat him this time." Robby said confidently as he waved to his friends and ran down to the field and took his position. Ben did the same, "Long time no see, Robby, looks like you'll be in for another loss." Ben said with a smirk, "We'll just see about that." Robby muttered, just wanting to get down to the battle.
The referee walked up to the field, "This'll be a six on six battle, withdrawals are allowed! It has been decided that Robby will have this first move!" The ref called out, "Any questions?" He asked looked to both trainers who nodded, "Alright! Good Luck to both of you... and... Battle--- Begin!" The referee yelled, raising both flags and stepping back.

Both trainers' eyes had a fiery look to them as they drew Pokeballs and released their partners simultaneously. "Noivern!" Ben yelled, "Weezing, I choose you!" Robby exclaimed. Both Pokemon appeared on the field ready to battle, but Robby's Weezing was blue and shimmered when I came out of its Pokeball. "Weezing, start things off with a Sludge Bomb!" Robby ordered, trying to feel out that Noivern.

Ben chuckled, "That's new.. Noivern, Counter with Boomburst, then go in for a Dragon Claw!" Ben yelled, Noivern obeyed and countered the Sludge Bomb then rushed Weezing with a Dragon Claw.
"Protect." Robby stated, a blue shield formed around Weezing and protected it from the Dragon Claw, "Now, use Toxic close range!" Robby called out, "Weeezing!" Weezing cried out as it hit Noivern with Toxic and badly poisoned it.
Ben grit his teeth as Noivern was hit with Toxic damage, "Air Slash!" He cried out, Noivern flew up and shot an Air Slash, hitting Weezing and sending it crashing down into the ground, Ben smirked as he felt like he was beginning to gain momentum, "Hyper Beam, now!" Ben yelled.

"Weezing, hang in there and use Protect once again!" Robby exclaimed, Weezing looked up at the Hyper Beam and used Protect to block, it then shot up into the air, "Sludge Bomb!" Robby yelled, Weezing obeyed and used Sludge Bomb on Noivern, causing major damage.
Noivern fell through the air and looked like it was going to recover until it was hit with that heavy damage from the poison and was knocked out.

"Noivern is unable to battle! Weezing is the winner!" The referee yelled, the crowd cheered and Ben recalled Noivern, gritting his teeth. "Good job, Weezing!" Robby yelled, still keeping his game face. Ben drew his second Pokeball and released the Pokemon which was a Krokodile. Ben wasted no time and called out his first move, "Use Swords Dance!" He yelled, Krokodile obeyed and raised its attack sharply, "Now, Stone Edge!" Ben yelled, his tone was now very serious. Krokodile punched the ground and caused many stones to erupt from it.

"Dodge, Weezing!" Robby yelled out, he was now completely focused on the battle. Weezing floated around, dodging some of the stones but was to slow and was hit by a few, causing it to fall to the ground, "Give it no time to recover, Krokodile, use Crunch!" Ben yelled, Krokodile jumped on Weezing and used Crunch; even though it wasn't very effective, it still was enough to knock Weezing out.

The referee ran over to Weezing and raised a flag, "Weezing is unable to battle, Krokodile is this winner!" He yelled as Robby recalled Weezing and smiled down at the Pokeball before drawing another and throwing it to the battlefield, "Aegislash!" Robby yelled as it appeared on the field, ready to avenge Weezing.

"They're both tied with 5 Pokemon left," Landon commented as he watched the battle, he didn't know much about Robby's opponent but he knew that he could do it, he was also amazed to see some of the Pokemon Robby had over his travels he's done.

"Aegislash, use Swords Dance!" Robby called out, Aegislash nodded and raised its attack sharply.
Ben smirked, "Heh, you're at a huge disadvantage here, use Cruch!" Ben yelled, raising his fist in the air. "Krok!" Krokodile said as it ran at Aegislash, teeth glowing a bright white.
"I didn't think you'd forget about this one, Ben! King's Shield!" Robby exclaimed, a blue barrier appeared in front of Aegislash just before Krokodile jumped at it so it hit the barrier. Krokodile glowed blue for a moment as its attack was lowered, harshly, nullifying that Swords Dance it pulled against Weezing. "Keep it, Sacred Sword!" Robby called out, Aegislash changed stance and slashed at Krokodile

Ben, grit his teeth as Krokodile was hit by the attack, causing major damage, "Now, grab the blade with Dragon Claw and slam it against the ground!" Ben yelled, keeping his composure, he had to gain momentum. Krokodile yelled as it grabbed Aegislash by the blade and threw it to the ground, "Now, Earthquake!" Ben yelled, throwing out his palm. Krokodile obeyed and smashed the ground and hit Aegislash with Earthquake for Super Effective Damage. "Keep up the pressure, Fire Fang!" Ben yelled with a wild look in his eyes.

"Crap... Think, think." Robby muttered to himself as Krokodile drew closer and closer to Aegislash. "Got it, Aegislash, use Shadow Sneak to avoid!" Robby called Aegislash nodded and sunk into the ground as it turned into a shadow and retreated back to Robby. "Alright, Aegislash, return!" Robby called out, recalling Aegislash and drawing another Pokemon.
Ben and Krokodile smirked, "What, are you scared?" Ben asked, taunting Robby.
Serena frowned and focused on the battle, "You can do it... That was a bad match up." She said, putting her hands together.

Robby smiled and threw the Pokeball, "Primarina! I choose you!" He yelled, Primarina appeared on the field and treated it like a stage and bowed to the crowd, he went wild when this happened. Ben laughed, "We can counter that! Use Thunder Fang!" The trainer yelled, Krokodile yelled and ran at Primarina, teeth glowing yellow with electricity.
"Let's show them our new move combo move! Hydro Beam!" Robby yelled with a smirk, the crowd went wild and the announcer gasp. Primarina shot a Hydro Pump at Krokodile and followed up and froze the attack with an Ice Beam, causing a fusion in the two moves.

The attack slammed into Krokodile and knocked it out. The referee ran over to the fallen Pokemon, "Krokodile is unable to battle, Primarina wins!" The referee yelled raising a flag. Ben recalled his Krokodile and was down once again, he frowned and threw out another Pokeball, releasing his signature Pokemon, Blastoise. This was the same Blastoise he received from Professor Sycamore and had beat Robby with. The turtle Pokemon glared at Robby.

Robby was surprised to see Blastoise so soon, but that's just how Ben was. "Primarina, use Energy Ball!" Robby called out, Primarina sang out as it shot a green ball of energy at Blastoise who just took the hit by just going into its shell, but he knew this move.
"Oh yeah, you know it, Skull Bash!" Ben yelled with a wild fire in his eyes, Blastoise gained power then shot at Primarina.
"Crap, Primarina, try and slow it down with Hydro Pump!" Robby called out, Primarina did this and slowed Blastoise a bit, but was still hit by the Skull Base and was sent stumbling back a few feet.

Primarina was strong though and got up, "Good, use Moonblast!" Robby yelled out, Primarina cried out and summoned and pink ball and shot it at Blastoise.
"Flash Cannon!" Ben called out with a smirk, Blastoise roared and shot Flash Cannon at the Moon Blast and broke through it with ease and hit Primarina, causing major damage. "Now, use Solar Beam!" Ben called out, using Primarina's injuries and his momentum to his advantage. "Blaaast!" Blastoise yelled as it charged the attack
"Primarina, get up! I know you can do it!" Robby yelled, pleading for Primarina just to hang in, she tried, but that Flash Cannon had hurt it too much. "Try and use Energy Ball!" Robby yelled in desperation as the Solar Beam was almost ready. Primarina lifted its head and shot a weaker Energy Ball at Blastoise and actually did some damage to it before being hit by the Solar Beam and being knocked out.
"Primarina, is unable to battle, Blastoise wins!" The referee called out, Robby recalled Primarina and drew Aegislash's Pokeball again. "Aegislash, I choose you!" Robby called out. Aegislash appeared on the field again, ready to fight.

Ben smirked, "Hydro Pump!" Ben yelled, Blastoise leaned over and shot the attack at Aegislash, "Cut through it was Sacred Sword!" Robby yelled, punching the air. Aegislash cried out and slashed the water in half, "Shadow Sneak!" Robby exclaimed, extending his palm. Aegislash sneaked within the shadows behind under Blastoise and slashed up, launching the giant turtle into the air, "Ice Beam, Blastoise!" Ben yelled, the giant turtle somehow managed to flip and face Aegislash and shot an Ice Beam at it.

"Block with King's Shield!" Robby yelled, Aegislash tried to change stances and almost succeeded but the position it was in was too awkward and the Ice Beam froze Aegislash's 'hand' to the ground making it unable to escape.
Blastoise landed with a big crash right in front of Aegislash and began charging up a Hydro Pump, point blank, "Do it!" Ben ordered with an evil smirk, Blastoise obeyed and hit Aegislash point blank with a power Hydro Pump, knocking it out. Blastoise was beginning to show signs of weakness though, it was tired and looked out of breath, it wouldn't be able to take a few more hits.
"Aegislash is unable to battle, Blastoise wins!" The referee declared, raising his flags. Robby grit his teeth and recalled Aegislash and drew another Pokeball. He was now down by one and had to turn this battle around.

"Come on, Robby." Serena muttered, keeping her eyes glued to the battle as Robby called out his fourth Pokemon, "Electivire I choose you!" The trainer yelled, Electivire appeared on the field, ready to fight. It gave a cold stare to Ben and Blastoise as its fists lit up with electricity.

"That Blastoise is powerful," Landon muttered as he watched Electivire charging at Blastoise. "Yeah so far it's already taken out 2 of Robby's Pokemon," Lyra commented as she watched. "Robby can beat that guy for sure, there's not a doubt in my mind," Landon muttered as the battle went on.

"Blastoise, return!" Ben called out, knowing that was a terrible matchup. Ben smirked and drew another Pokeball, "Trevenant, let's go!" Ben yelled, throwing the Pokeball and releasing a scary looked haunted tree.
"Trevenant, huh?" Robby asked before Ben made his move, "Use Horn Leech!" Ben called out, extending his fist. Trevenant nodded and ran at Electivire, horns glowing, ready to absorb energy from Electivire.

"Electivire, you know what to do." Robby said with a smirk, trusting in his Pokemon completely. "Vire!" Electivire responded as it blocked the attack with Protect and grabbed one of Trevenant's horns with one hand and use the other to hit it with an Ice Punch.
Ben and everyone else was extremely surprised, to see this as Robby didn't even call out any attacks, Ben grit his teeth as Trevenant was sent flying back, but it got up and was still good to fight. "Use Shadow Ball, rapid fire!" Ben called out, Trevenant obeyed and rapidly fired Shadow Balls at Electivire

"Block with Thunder Punch and Iron Tail!" Robby called out, extending his palm. "Electivire!" The electric Pokemon cried out as it batted away the attacks with the two attacks which caused a lot of dust to be kicked up into the air, hiding the two Pokemon.
Ben smirked again, "Use Shadow Claw!" The trainer yelled, the Pokemon rushed Electivire with Shadow Claw, and Electivire couldn't see the attack coming.

"Use Thunder Wave on the field in pulses!" Robby called out, thinking on the fly, Electivire responded by doing this immediately and ended up paralyzing Trevenant, causing it to stop dead in its track and giving away its location. "Now, use Hot Ice Punch!" Robby called out with a smirk of his own. Electivire smirked back and ran at the paralyzed Trevenant with one fist glowing an icy blue and the other glowing a fiery red.
Ben grit his teeth, he knew his Pokemon would be hit with the attack so he didn't call out anything. Electivire hit Trevenant with the combination of Fire and Ice Punch, knocking it out.

"Trevenant is unable to battle, Electivire wins!" The referee called out, raising his two flags. Ben scowled and recalled his Trevenant who had been so easily defeated and drew another Pokeball. "Primeape, come out!" He yelled angrily, "Use Mach Punch!" Ben yelled as it appeared on the field, the Pokemon shot at Electivire with incredible speed and actually hit it, but Electivire held its ground and was only pushed back a little.

"Grab it!" Robby yelled, Electivire quickly wrapped one of its tails around Primeape's left arm and held on tight, "Now, use Thunder!" Robby exclaimed, punching the air, "Electivireeeee!" Electivire yelled as it used Thunder on Primeape, giving it one heck of a shock.
Primeape yelled out as it was hit with the attack and smoke rose from its body after the attack was over, Ben made no expression as Primeape slowly looked at Electivire with pure rage in its eyes. "Close Combat." Ben simply stated as he was being completely serious now. Primeape pulled on Electivire's tail, bringing it closer to it and proceeded to use the powerful attack on Electivire, doing major damage.

"Fight back! Thunder Punch!" Robby yelled, this battle now was turning into a fist fight between two Pokemon. Electivire and Primeape clashed for a little while until Electivire overwhelmed it the Thunder Punches and sent it flying back flying.
"Grr, get up and use Earthquake!" Ben growled, Primeape struggled to get up, but it did and used Earthquake.

"Electivire, hurry! Use Iron Tail on the ground to try and stop the attack or launch yourself into the air." Robby yelled in desperation, he didn't want to loss Electivire. The Pokemon cried out and used the attack on the ground which ended up launching Electivire into the air, "Now, Thunder!!!" Robby yelled, raising his fist into the air. Electivire yelled out and shot a Powerful Thunder at Primeape who was unable to dodge and was sent flying across the arena and ended up hitting the wall and getting knocked out.

"Primeape is unable to battle! Electivire wins again!" The referee yelled out, the crowd cheered out and chanted "Electivire!"
Serena stood up and cheered, "Robby is in the lead again!" She exclaimed.

Ben grit his teeth and recalled his Primeape while Electivire raised its fists into the air while they spark with electricity. Ben drew his fifth Pokeball, "Let's do it, Volcarona!" Ben yelled, gritting his teeth, he couldn't believe Robby was winning. "Let's set up, use Quiver Dance!" Ben yelled, Volcarona cried out as it danced around and raised three stats but the key one was speed.
"Use Thunder Punch!" Robby yelled, Electivire rushed Volcarona with the attack

"Avoid it and use Quiver Dance again!" Ben yelled, extending his palm. Volcarona dodged the Thunder Punch with quickly and used Quiver Dance again. "Now use Flamethrower!" Ben yelled. Volcarona shot the attack at Electivire.
"Protect!" Robby called out, Electivire raised its hands and blocked the attack, but Volcarona had already got behind Electivire and ready to attack!

"Fire Blast!" Ben roared, Volcarona shot the powerful attack and Electivire who was unable to react and was hit in the back with the attack. Since Volcarona had raised its Special Attack stat twice, it was able to knock out Electivire with the attack.

"Electivire is unable to battle!" The referee declared, raising his green flag. Robby grit his teeth and recalled Electivire and drew another Pokeball, they were tied again. Ben said nothing anymore and no longer smirked as Robby raised his fifth Pokeball, "Gliscor I choose you!" Robby exclaimed, throwing the ball. "Gli Gliscor!" Gliscor cried out as it entered the field and bounced on its tail.

"It's coming down to the wire," Landon commented as he watched Robby send out his Gliscor to battle Ben's Volcarona. "Yeah but Robby's got this in the bag easily," Lyra added with confidence, "Don't forget you two need to show Alola just how strong you both are." Landon nodded with a smile, but quickly reverted to constant analysis on Robby and Ben so he could come up with a strategy for whoever he'd be battling.

The battle only had gotten more intense from there.. Gliscor and Volcarona had battle until it was deemed a tie due to the clash of two powerful moves. Now, Robby and Ben only had one Pokemon left each. This last match would decide who would end up moving onto the finals and facing Landon.

"Blastoise!" Ben shouted angrily, he would not lose here... Not to Robby.

"Infernape, let's do it!" Robby called out throwing the Pokeball, both Pokemon appeared on the field and were ready to battle. "Use Mach Punch!" Robby yelled, "Infernape!" His partner yelled as he shot at Blastoise and hit it with the punch. Blastoise held its ground.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Ben yelled with a smirk, it would be a close range, one-hit knockout. Blastoise shot the attack at Infernape, who was ready for the attack. "Kick Blastoise off balance!" Robby order, Infernape spun and kicked Blastoise with its heel and caused it to stumble and miss the Hydro Pump. "Give it no time to recover, Thunder Punch!" Robby yelled, Infernape obeyed and punched Blastoise with its electrified fist.

Blastoise struggled to get up and stumbled around before roaring, Ben did the Waterium Z movements and they both cried out together as they shot the Hydro Vortex at Infernape. Robby responded quickly and did the Firuim Z movements and yelled as Infernape shot the full force Z-Move at the Hydro Vortex.

The two attacks clashed and a mist exploded all over the field. After a while, the mist cleared and Infernape was no longer visible, it was underground and it launched up and uppercutted Blastoise causing it to stumble back.
Ben grit his teeth, he knew it was over but he made a last ditch effort, "Hydro Cannon!" He yelled, but Blastoise was unable to pull off the attack.

"Finish with Close Combat!" Robby roared, raising his fist into the air. Infernape yelled and shot at Blastoise and barraged it with hits, before Blastoise was knocked out. The referee ran over, "Blastoise is unable to battle! Infrenape is the winner, meaning Robby advances to the finals!!" The referee declared as raised both flags the crowd went wild.

Serena shot out of her seat , "Yes! He won!" She cheered. "There it is folks, Robby advances!" The announcer yelled as a picture of Landon and Robby appeared on the screen.

Ben lightly smiled and recalled Blastoise and looked at Robby right in the eyes.
Robby thanked Infernape before recalling it and looked back at Ben who nodded and walked away...

Robby smiled and ran to his friends, concluding the semi-finals of the Alolan-League.

"Way to go Robby!" Landon cheered as he shot up from out of his seat. That night Landon finished exchanging his Pokemon for the Finals and walked with Lyra back to their room. "Hey Landon there's been something I've been meaning to tell you," Lyra stated as Landon threw off his shirt and began scavenging his bag for a muscle shirt. "What is it Lyra?" Landon asked as he continued digging through his bag before finally finding the shirt along with some pajama pants, Lyra reached into her bag and pulled out a small black box. "It's something I-" Lyra began as she turned to Landon before her face turned a bright red, "LANDON!!!" Landon quickly ducked as he covered his ears, "Give me a minute to put my shirt on, I just grabbed it," he complained as he quickly left to change, returning in his pajamas. "Anyway, this is something I found," Lyra commented as she handed Landon the box, Landon opened it to see a small light blue crystal with a snowflake pattern on it. "This is a Z-Crystal," Landon admired. "Yeah, Professor Kukui calls it, Icium Z, I got it up near the peak of Mount Lanakila where this weird Ninetales fought me, long story short, I won and got to keep the crystal," Lyra said as she took out the crystal and handed it to Landon, who was confused for a moment, "I want you to have it, that way you'll have a piece of me in your final battle against Robby." Landon happily took the Crystal and wrapped his arms around Lyra, "I promise to always treasure this crystal," he stated.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Final Battle of the first ever Alola League!" Professor Kukui announced, "We've seen battle after heated battle and now it's time for our final match, between Landon who will be representing Sinnoh, and Robby who will be representing Kalos, this battle will be a 6 on 6, both sides will also be aloud to switch Pokemon! Now then let's get this Final Battle underway, trainers, bring forth your Pokemon!"

"Alright, let's start off strong, Grenn, you're up!" Landon called as he threw a Pokeball into the air releasing a Greninja that stood confidently facing Robby as the two awaited Robby's first Pokemon.

Robby and Serena ate room service together in their room and watched a few movies together before getting ready for bed. "You ready for tomorrow?" Serena asked Robby, "Oh yeah, I've been ready since the start of this journey. Even though Landon is my friend, I still don't want to lose to him. That's why I'll give him everything I got." Robby said, withdrawing his six Pokemon he would be using before crawling into his bed.
Serena smiled to herself and crawled into her bed and the two fell asleep.

The sun shined bright on this beautiful Alolan Morning, Robby was already dressed and was leaning against the balancy, mentally preparing and watching the sun rise. Serena quietly crept behind him and wrapped her arms around his stomach and lyed her head on his back. Robby turned his head slightly to look back, "What's up?" He asked, "Nothing, just win today. Okay?" Robby smiled and looked back toward the rising sun, "I will." The Trainer said.

Robby entered the arena and waved to the crowd before taking his place across from Landon. Robby nodded toward the referee and to Landon and drew his first Pokeball. "So he has a Greninja, nice. Raichu! I choose you!" Robby called out, releasing his Raichu onto the field. "Start things off with an Agility!" Robby called out, wanting to match or even surpass Greninja's speed before attacking. Raichu obeyed the command and its speed rose sharply, Robby had faced many Greninja before and knew what to except.

"Use Smokescreen!" Landon called out, Grenn lowered it's tongue and shot smoke that spread across the field creating a thick cloud, "Now use Night Slash!" Grenn charged into the smoke cloud that covered the field and a black blade formed in it's hand before slashing it straight at Raichu.

 

[Rhabby]

Robby smirked, "Discharge." He stated simply, Raichu obeyed and discharged electricity though the whole field, if Greninja wanted to hit Raichu it would have to be electrocuted first.
If we can take out this Greninja before it can do major damage it'll be great. Robby thought to himself.

Grenn was hit hard by this Discharge which stopped it's attack, Landon quickly pulled out two Pokeballs in response, "Grenn return for now!" Landon called out as he recalled his Greninja, "Draco, you're up!" Landon called out as he sent out his Garchomp but it's skin was much darker than any regular Garchomp, "Pretty cool Garchomp, wouldn't you say Robby?" Landon smirked, "Now then, Draco use Sandstorm!" Draco roared as it summoned a Sandstorm that blew away all of the smoke instantly, "Your move Robby!"

"Just like my Weezing huh?" Robby called back as his mind raced with counter attacks. "Raichu, use Psychic to push the sand away!" Robby called out. Raichu nodded and channeled its psychic abilities arounds its body and pushed outward with it and flung the sand everywhere, getting rid of it for now.

"Great, now use Psychic on Garchomp!" Robby called out, extending his palm. Raichu shot above Garchomp like a bullet due to the boosted speed and shot a psychic attack at the land shark.

The Psychic attack hit Draco causing some damage to it, "Not bad Robby!" Landon called out, "Draco use Roar!" Landon yelled, Draco stomped it's foot against the ground as it sucked in some air before roaring loud enough that almost everyone in the stadium could hear it.

"Thanks!" Robby called back with a smirk before the Garchomp roared which pushed Raichu backed into its Pokeball and forced out another Pokemon which was Lycanroc!

"That was an interesting move, but now he has type advantage." Robby muttered under his breath. "Alright, Lycanroc use Swords Dance!" Robby ordered. Lycanroc howled and swords clashed above it, raising its attack sharply. "Let's start things off with Stealth Rock!" Robby called out with a smirk, Lycanroc howled again used used the setup move, creating hazards on the field.

"Go Draco Sandstorm let's go!" Landon ordered, Draco roared as it summoned a fierce sandstorm that surrounded the field, "Now use Dual Chop!" Landon cried, Draco dashed straight for Lycanroc both it's fins glowing a bright blue color that Landon kept his eye on, 'By using Dual Chop I'll see where Draco is, I just hope Lycanroc's ability isn't what I think it is...' he thought to himself half panicked.

Robby smirked, "Dodge it." He said calmly Lycanroc shot through the sandstorm and avoided the Dual Chop, it's almost like Lycanroc's speed skyrocketed.

"Stone Edge!" Robby called out, Lycanroc howled and giant stones began to shoot out from the ground at Garchomp.

"Dodge it Draco!" Landon called out, at the voice Draco seemed to have vanished into the sandstorm, "It's like I thought Robby, your Lycanroc has Sand Rush while Draco has Sand Veil," Landon called out, as he took out a Pokeball, "But with both of our abilities we'll get nowhere with this battle, so Draco return!" Landon called out as he recalled Draco back to it's Pokeball, switching it for another, "Now then, Mizu let's go!" Landon called out as he threw his Pokeball into the air, releasing Mizu his strongest Pokemon, "Now Mizu use Aqua Jet!" Mizu quickly became wrapped in a torrent of water as it rocketed towards Lycanroc.

"That's fine with me! Continue to use the Sandstorm to your advantage and use Brick Break!" Robby exclaimed, throwing his palm out.

Lycanroc howled as its two front paws glowed a bright white, it rushed through the Sandstorm and at Mizu, it movements were sporadic so it would be hard to predict where Lycanroc would end up with the Break Brick.

"Mizu let's show everyone your new move!" Landon shouted, Mizu nodded confidently with a smile, "Rain Dance let's go!" Mizu tilted it's head at a 45 degree angle before cried out to the skies which was soon followed by a dark cloud that formed above the stadium. Rain quickly poured down and stopped the sandstorm revealing Lycanroc, "Now Mizu get close to Lycanroc!" Mizu began running straight for Lycanroc with great speed as it quickly closed in, "Metal Claw go!" the edges of Mizu's fins became cloaked in a thin layer of steel as it swung it's attack at Lycanroc.

Robby smirked as Mizu and Lycanroc's attacks clashed and were eventually canceled out.

"Come on, Landon! This battle will go nowhere if you keep switching!" Robby called with a smirk, "Lycanroc, Thunder Fang!" Robby exclaimed. Lycanroc howled and launched at Mizu, fangs glowing with electricity.

Landon smiled, he knew deep down if he kept switching his Pokemon, they'd all be out of strength to battle Robby's Pokemon. "Mizu block that Thunder Fang!" Landon cried out Mizu, swung at Lycanroc blocking the attack but still taking some damage from as well, "Now use a close-range Hydro Cannon!" Landon cheered, Mizu summoned a sphere of highly compressed water before firing it at Lycanroc at close range.

Robby grit his teeth as the Hydro Cannon was fired but had came up with a strategy for something like this.

"Lycanroc, use Accelerock to avoid the Hydro Cannon and get behind Mizu!" Robby ordered. Lycanroc obeyed the command a barely avoided the Hydro Cannon, it was almost to close to call. Robby smirk, he now would be able to get an easy hit since Mizu would need to recharge.

"Brick Break full force!" Robby exclaimed, raising his fist into the air. Lycanroc roared and jumped above Mizu and attempted to use Brick Break on its head.
