Okay folks, Ry_Burst here. So my first thread Kanto Journeys became out of control. It was messy, and becoming to focused on Mega Evolution. So Mega evoltuion has been limited in this thread. Only three characters have been permitted to have Mega Evolution, Darrius, Ry, and one other who will be a surprise. No fakemon are allowed. Personality: Full of energy. He loves to battle, and never stops having fun. he cares for his pokemon deeply, and has large amount as of trust towards them. He does have a temper and is easy to anger, but he doesn't mean it. he is oblivious to the world around him, caring only for pokemon, battling, and his friends He wants to be friends with everyone he meets.
Skills: Berry identification and cooking are important skills he learned from his mother. he is a budding Pokemon breeder, but his real dream is to be a Pokémon champ. he can Ashly connect with any pokemon he meets. He has superb battle sense, in battle, most of the time, able to calculate plans in a matter of seconds.
Past: When he was 6, his dad left to go stop a group of Team galactic rejects and Ry secretly followed. There was an explosion and he was saved by the legendary pokemon Latios. Latios got Ry out in the nick of time, with the only injury a small scar on his shoulder.
When he was 10, he received an egg. It soon hatched into a chmcharand Ry raised it. He and the Chimchar trained with the gym leader Mylene for 5 years. During that time, Ry got stronger and chimchar evolved into an Monferno. Tried to win the Sinnoh Leauge but lost once he reached the top 16.
Family: His father died when Ry was only 6. He was a police officer, and was killed by and explosion during a raid of Team Galatic wannabes. His mother is a pokemon breeder and always has a Budew with her. All of Ry's pokemon, who aren't elsewhere doing something (Training or helping people), or with Ry stay with Ry's mom on a ranch outside of Veilstone City
Love Relationships?: None, he is oblivious.
Battle Style: Ry develops a close bond with his pokemon. He has such close bonds, that with some of his pokemon, he mimickes what they are doing from the sidelines. (Similar to Ash during the whole Ash-Greninja thing, minus the shared pain). He was taught that you must be as strong as your pokemon. He prefers a physical assault as compared to special attacks.
One thing in particular he does is have what he calls Move Combos. They are commands he shouts to tell his pokemon to use multiple moves at once or in a certain way. To a way to save time and catch his opponents off guard.

Personality: Due to being hatched from an egg, he is very much like his trainer. Hates to lose, but will accept it graciously. He has a tradition, that if he is beaten, he will give a thumbs up towards the pokemon that bested him and their trainer. He loves to battle. He likes to spar with Aura and Jet whenever he can in his free time, but he loves to just chill in a tree with his trainer. Fuego loves Spicy food and has a Brave Nature

History: Was abandoned in Solaceon town by his trainer and called weak. Then, the Treecko lived joint hew woods, dividing his time between training, or pranking passing trainers. He soon evolved into a Grovyle. Then he stole Ry's lunch and Splashy (Who was a poliwag at the time). When Ry found him, instead of being mean, Ry was nice towards the thriving Pokémon. Grovyle returned what he stole. Then he followed the trainer on his journey for a while. Then Ry saw him one day, and offered him a spot on the team. Grovyle accepted and became known as Jet. Jet was hard, for Ry to handle at first, but Ry never gave up an won Jet's trust. Then during a Gym battle with Fantina, he evolved, and beat Fantina's last Pokémon.
Personality: This is a very stubborn pokemon. He doesn't like most other people other then Ry. He prefers to battle when he is at a disadvantage. Either by type or skill. He hates Mega evolution, despite having the ability to do so himself. He only Mega evolves in tough situations, where he has no choice. He likes Spicy food and has an Adament Nature

History: Was the first Pokémon Ry caught. As a Poliwag, he attracted all kinds of attention. He was kicked into a river when Ry met him. Ry jumped in to save him, and battled the trainer who kicked Poliwag in the river. When Ry won, he offered the Poliwag a spot on his team. Every time Splashy evolved, it was to protect his friends. Nowadays, he doesn't travel wit Ry as much, because he is helping Crasher Wake, with the Sinnoh Leauge Fire Department, helping lead the other pokemon
Personality: Very loving and gentle. He is very motherly towards other pokemon. Isn't as strong a battler, as Ry's other Pokemon, but is still an important part of his team. He likes Bitter food, and has a Gentle Nature

Personality: Sharp-witted, kind, always willing to help other trainers, very proud of his Pokemon partners.
Ambitions: To be the Pokemon World Champion
Pokemon On Hand: Scizor (Reaper), Arcanine (Fenrir), Salamence (Havoc), Raichu (Storm), Absol [Mega] (Sol)
Havoc: was gifted to Darrius as an egg by his Father, and has been his partner since it hatched. Much like Darrius, Havoc is very laid back, but is also easily excited. He knows when it's time to get serious, and should be considered Darrius' strongest Pokemon.
Sol: Darrius found her on the coastal route leading into Ambrette Town. She was severely injured. Darrius took her to the Ambrette Pokemon Center, where the nurse identified her as having belonged to another trainer. While the Absol was resting Darrius searched Ambrette Town, and eventually bumped into her trainer, a young man by the name of Fergus. (think the Charmander guy from the first season of the Pokemon anime, just worse) Fergus expressed disinterest in owning the Absol anymore, which is why he had left it on the route, with the intention of leaving it with it's kind. However, she kept trying to follow him, so eventually he had one of his other Pokemon attack her and injure her. Enraged by this, Darrius challenged him to a battle, and promptly wiped the floor with him. He then returned to the Pokemon Center, and wouldn't leave the Absol's side until she was well enough to travel. Through that time, he attempted to bond with the Absol, to show her that he would be kind to her. He succeeded enough to convince her to travel with him through the rest of his time in Kalos. (He specifically went out and bought/found a luxury ball for her) Upon arriving in Shalour city, he met the Mega Evolution Guru, who saw that there was potential for him to bond even further with Absol. So, he put them through a series of trials and tests to strengthen their bond, one of which involved the two of them staying in Reflecting Cave for 3 days and 3 nights, without any other company. Sol (his name for her) was too timid to fight at first, so Darrius scared off the wild pokemon in the cave, so she wouldn't have to battle. Well into the second night, Darrius was sleeping, and the two were attacked by a "flock" of Zubats. There were too many for Darrius to scare off at once, and so Sol, who had finally come to trust him, stepped in to rescue and protect her new trainer. At the start of the 4th day, the two emerged from the cave, a bond forged and strengthened to last through the ages. He received the key stone from the M.E. Guru, who fashioned it into a ring (like Lysandre's) for him. About a year later, while adventuring through Hoenn, Darrius joined a battle tournament in Fallarbor Town which showcased Mega Evolution, where he won a Manectite for winning out. He then agreed to trade the Manectite with a trainer who had a Manectric for the Absolite, which the Trainer had won from tournaments prior.

HISTORY: While exploring a forest outside his hometown was when he heard it wondrous song it drawn him in quick he raced with great speed to see what was making such music. The music lead him deep into the forest this is where he met her his fateful partner a singing Minun who voices just calms him.
PERSONALITY: Cheerful like others of her kind but quick to get upset when her voice is not hear and lets you know by shocking you.

HISTORY: Drago was part of Brief’s team when he was challenging the Unova League. Drago is one of the powerhouses of the team he is known to never back down in a battle he has a firm dislike of dodging Brief oftens jokes about him having No Guard as his ability his style of battle maybe straightforward but it makes him tougher being able to take heavy blows without caving.

HISTORY: Brief met Heavy in the middle of his training on Iron Island as an Onix who made a habit out of fighting all the steel types on the island. Brief took a real interest in watching it battle it wasn't until the Onix was gravely injured fighting a powerful Aggron who crack the side of his head Brief took it upon himself train train the Onix until he was strong enough to beat the Aggron. After a few months of training the time had come to face off against the Aggron the battle was intense with Onix becoming the victor with his win Brief gifted the Metal Coat he got from Byron which lead to evolve into a Steelix.

Casys is the nephew of the Unova Gym Leader, Burgh, and acquired an egg from his uncle which, after much care, hatched into Heracross. Casys held out a Luxury Ball for the Pokemon, whom seemed to contemplate heavily on the decision. Eventually, Heracross touched the Luxury Ball and was sucked in. Casys named him "Apollo" and together they went to study under the Gym Leader Cheren to learn strategy and battle tactics, along with their teammate Joltik (nicknamed Glace). The trio became the best of friends, with Apollo and Glace making leaps and bounds in their training. One day, Casys decided to challenge Cheren to a gym battle, which he won thanks to Apollo. That began Casys' journey with Apollo and Glace. They defeated Roxie and finally challenged Burgh. After an intense battle, Apollo defeated all of Burgh's Pokemon and they continued through Unova, making friends and defeating opponents, all the while Casys' bond with his Pokemon growing. Casys and Apollo don't simply want to become the champion of a region or even the world. Their dream is much more simple. They want to take over as Castelia's Gym Leader once Burgh steps down or they can beat Burgh's best team (Like in the Pokemon Origins anime where it's revealed that gym leaders use different Pokemon depending on the challenger's skill level). Their journey is much more personal because they have a specific dream in mind, instead of just becoming strong. Also, Apollo was kidnapped by the remnants of Team Plasma after the events of Black/White 2, being turned against Casys and the rest of the team. Team Plasma's experiments on Apollo made him incredibly strong, forcing him to beat Casys' entire team when they try to get him back. After Glace, Casys' last Pokemon, is defeated, Casys steps up and tells Apollo that he forgives him, that it's not his fault. This awakens what little feeling was left in Apollo, and it snaps out of the control Team Plasma had on him, losing his strength but still defeating his former masters. This was all just before the Unova League and they lost after Apollo is affected by what Team Plasma did to him, almost like PTSD. Casys helps him recover, but not until Casys' rival beats Apollo.

In a later Pokemon World Tournament, Burgh met Viola from the Kalos region and he learned of Mega Evolution from her. He traveled with her back to Kalos to try and obtain a Mega Stone and Keystone of his own. After spending a year there researching, and also sketching various Mega Pokemon, Burgh found his way to the Mega Evolution Guru and obtained a Keystone from him. He also got a Heracronite for his Heracross (He has one in the Pokemon World Tournament according to bulbapedia). Back in Unova, Burgh's Heracross passed away from old age, leaving him with a useless Keystone and Heracronite. He watched his nephew's progress through the Unova region with the Heracross he'd given to him as an egg. That Heracross was the son of Burgh's Heracross and another one of his Pokemon, so it had ties to the Heracronite. Upon defeating the final Unova Gym Leader, Casys was presented with Burgh's old Keystone, and upon placing 3rd in the Unova League, Apollo was given Burgh's Heracross' Heracronite. They have yet to master Mega Evolution, and on the rare occasion the duo decides to use it, the power Apollo feels is similar to the power felt under Team Plasma's experiments. This makes Apollo goes berserk, Casys being the only one who can calm him down. So, they don't use it often.

Mizu was also used in several other gym battles with Landon. During the Sinnoh League Mizu was Landon's last Pokemon in a 6 on 6 battle and was defeated be a trainer and his Torterra. Durning the Silver Conference Mizu was placed in rotation along with several other Pokemon Landon had caught. During a Sootopolis City Pokemon Tournament in honor of Kyogre Mizu was Landon's final Pokemon in the Quarter Finals but lost against a trainer with a Talonflame who used Flare Blitz, after that Landon left Mizu with the trainer to become much stronger. In the Hoenn League Landon asked for Mizu to be sent over for the tournament helping him win his first the first round and was also Landon's second last Pokemon in the Semi-Finals but lost to a trainer with his Greninja. Mizu has become Landon's strongest Pokemon. Mizu's Current Moves are: Hyrdo Cannon, Ice Beam, Metal Claw, Hydro Pump
Personality: Mizu is very friendly towards smaller Pokemon and trainers but when it's friends are in danger Mizu will unleash Moves at random to save them. Mizu is also a lot like his trainer in someways by being stubborn and loves to get into really intense battles even if the odds are against him. Mizu also loves to eat and is able to accept defeat because he has learned that he will just continue to get stronger with Landon.

History: When Landon had given all his Pokemon to Professor Rowan to take care of while he went to Hoenn he met a shy little Torchic which he decided to take with him and named Spike. When Landon began his journeys in Hoenn Spike was not to confident in it's battling abilities but when Landon had been knocked unconscious from Rhyhorn's Tackle attack while protecting Spike it used up all the strength it could to launch a super powered Ember which scared off the Rhyhorn. During the first round of a Rustboro City Pokemon tournament Spike was hit by a Water Pulse from a Frogadier and knocked into a building with all the strength it had it evolved into Combusken but still lost due to the damage it had taken prior to evolving. Spike was used frequently during Landon's battle against Norman and evolved into Blaziken. During a raid of Team Magma HQ Spike along with many other Pokemon were being controlled by Team Magma to charge the Red Orb with fire attacks, but Landon was able to remind Spike of all they had been through together and was to snap Spike out of it. Blaziken was Landon's last Pokemon when he battle Wally for a place in the Quarter Finals and after an intense battle was able to emerge victorious. Blaziken was also Landon's last Pokemon in the Semi-Finals going against a trainer with a Greninja but ended up losing when the trainer used the Z-Move Hydro Vortex. Spike's Current Moves are: Blaze Kick, Flamethrower, Thunder Punch, Brick Break
Personality: Spike hates losing and loves to Landon. Blaziken does all of it's physical training with it's trainer every since it was a Torchic. Spike loves to eat almost as much as it loves to relax in the shade and will usually end up stuffing itself full forcing Landon to really learn how to cook properly. Spike has always had a deep respect and bond for Landon ever since he was a Torchic.

History: Iwa hatched from an egg. When Landon went on a mining trip with Roark and Byron a boulder fell and split in half revealing an egg inside and hatched not to long after. Iwa originally only had respect for Roark but when Landon rescued it from some Pokemon Poachers it grew respect and decided to stay with Landon instead of Roark. Iwa's most powerful attack is Thrash however Iwa always ends up dizzy and can't usually battle for a while after using it so they only use it in dire situations. Iwa was used in Landon's battle against Brock and defeated Onix with Thrash. Iwa's Current Moves are: Sandstorm, Bite, Thrash
Personality: Iwa is very friendly towards Landon and his other Pokemon but not very trusting of other trainers and Pokemon. Iwa also loves to eat and will usually eat anything as Landon quotes "You have a stomach made of steel" after it ate a Figgy Berry without any problems.

History: Tori was the first Pokemon caught in a Pokemon Centre when it was rushed in. It's neck's had gotten tied together and was helped before it could suffocate. Landon had helped Nurse Joy by collecting Berries to help it regain it's strength. Dodou decided to thank Landon by battling him and Iwa, the two heads proved to be a difficult challenge for Iwa, but thanks to using Sandstorm as cover Iwa was able to sneak up behind Dodou and use Bite. Tori was used in the battle with Brock but lost against Geodude's Rollout attack. Tori's Current Moves are: Double Hit, Peck, Quick Attack
Personality: Tori's heads usually start arguing with each other when it comes to eating for who gets to eat first. Both heads of Tori love Landon and respect him however they do not have much respect for other trainers, since it was a trap humans set that caused the necks to be tied together.

Personality: Cool and calm usually, slightly mischievous when it comes to learning something new. Proud of pokemon evolution and would protect it with his life. Often doubts himself for not being able to discover Mega Evolution but a small voice in his head keeps pushing him forward.
Ambition: To unlock the powers of Mega Evolution and defeat Steven in a rematch.

Backstory:
After reaching the age of 10 Levi decided it was time, not to start a journey like most kids his age, but to increase his knowledge about pokemon evolution. He was originally from Cinnabar Island but traveled to Pallet Town in order to work with his idol, Professor Oak. While working in the lab with Oak, he gained an attachment to the pokemon Oak kept around, especially the water type pokemon, Squirtle. Oak was hesitant at first but eventually entrusted Levi with Squirtle which was then named Cronus. Now that Levi had a pokemon he was able to take on harder assignment and travel from town to town doing research different pokemon. While on assignment, he met and battled the Pewter Gym Leader, Brock. Even with a type advantage Levi still lost badly to Brock, because of this he spent every second he wasn't doing research, training with the gym leader. After a year of research and training, the Professor was ready to give him a bigger assignment, he was sent to Hoenn in order to study Nincada's unique evolution traits in its natural region. After traveling to Hoenn he took on a few of the gyms and became fairly experienced trainer. During his last month in Hoenn he visited Rustboro City where he met Mr. Stone of Devon Corp. After retrieving a stolen item for Mr. Stone Levi was asked if he wanted anything, he requested a battle with Mr. Stones son, a former pokemon champion, Steven. Levi managed to defeat two of Stevens pokemon before he sent out Metagross who he Mega Evolved. Mega Metagross tore through the last of Levi's team and left him defeated. After the big loss Levi traveled back to Kanto in hopes to improve his skill's and unlock the power of Mega Evolution so he could once again challenge Steven in hopes of winning.

Pokemon: Cronus (Blastoise), Orion (Metagross), Vex (Ninjask)
Backstory:
After reaching the age of 10 Levi decided it was time, not to start a journey like most kids his age, but to increase his knowledge about pokemon evolution. He was originally from Cinnabar Island but traveled to Pallet Town in order to work with his idol, Professor Oak. While working in the lab with Oak, he gained an attachment to the pokemon Oak kept around, especially the water type pokemon, Squirtle. Oak was hesitant at first but eventually entrusted Levi with Squirtle which was then named Cronus. Now that Levi had a pokemon he was able to take on harder assignment and travel from town to town doing research different pokemon. While on assignment, he met and battled the Pewter Gym Leader, Brock. Even with a type advantage Levi still lost badly to Brock, because of this he spent every second he wasn't doing research, training with the gym leader. After a year of research and training, the Professor was ready to give him a bigger assignment, he was sent to Hoenn in order to study Nincada's unique evolution traits in its natural region. After traveling to Hoenn he took on a few of the gyms and became fairly experienced trainer. During his last month in Hoenn he visited Rustboro City where he met Mr. Stone of Devon Corp. After retrieving a stolen item for Mr. Stone Levi was asked if he wanted anything, he requested a battle with Mr. Stones son, a former pokemon champion, Steven. Levi managed to defeat two of Stevens pokemon before he sent out Metagross who he Mega Evolved. Mega Metagross tore through the last of Levi's team and left him defeated. After the big loss Levi traveled back to Kanto in hopes to improve his skill's and unlock the power of Mega Evolution so he could once again challenge Steven in hopes of winning.

Personality: Isolated and shy unless close to someone, Energetic, fidgets a lot, has some anger issues; when someone messes with his friends he will sometimes skip Pokemon and go straight to a fist fight as he learned some martial arts watching a Machop
Ambition: Gather a group of close friends and grow bonds with his Pokemon

Aaron was born in Goldenrod city, Johto but moved to Konikoni city, Akaka Island, Alola when he was 5, at 15 his parents moved him to Vermillion City, Kanto. Aaron currently holds 6 Z-Crystals from his trails: Grassium, Waterium, Firium, Rockium, Fairium, and Ghostium.
Pokemon:
Decidueye (Yajirushi)
Aaron got Yaji from Professor Kukui for his 12th birthday and instantly grew a bond with the Rowlet. During his Island trails, Aaron got a Grassium Z crystal and it was very easy for him to activate the z-move because of the already great bond between him and Yajirushi.
Vulpix (Shimo)
Aaron caught Shimo during his Island trail while he was in Tapu Village and grew towards the pokemon because of its cuteness, Shimo is sometimes tough to handle but calms down once you give her a pokebean or two.
Geodude (Setchi)
Aaron caught Setchi while on Ula'Ula island shortly after he found Shimo and liked the fact that Setchi was so much different from his mainland counterpart.
Fletchinder (Hidori)
Aaron found Hidori injured during his island trail on his way to get Firium and dropped everything to help the poor fletchling, once he had brought Hidori to the Pokemon center the little thing wouldnt stop following him so he put the Pokemon into a premier ball. Hidori evolved into a fletchinder halfway through the battle against the totem Pokemon, starting a bond between Aaron and the bird.
