Welcome to the Kanto league tournament. All of you have collected eight gym badges. Only one of you will be able to take on the elite four and the Champion Lance.

Drew finished writing the Form as he turned it into the registration office. He couldn't wait till the tournament started. He looked at the pamphlet and saw that the two preliminary rounds were going to be one on one matches. He walked out of the office to get ready for tomorrow and the coming battle.

Drew stopped as he saw the white haired boy run past him into the registration place. On a whim Drew decided to head back into the place to confront the boy. He walked up towards him. " Hello." Drew said. " My name is Drew Leuric." He said moving his right hand towards the boy. "It's nice to meet you."

 

[Jagson]

Feeling how awkward it was Drew retracted his hand. " Sorry about that." He said. " I just wanted to say good luck, and may the best trainer win."

 

[Jagson]

" Just wanted to be friendly." Drew Replied. " I'm not exactly what people would call sociable. I'm trying to fix that."

 

[Jagson]

" Worth a shot." Drew said under his breath as he walked out of the registration office. He walked towards an open area. " Come on out guys." Drew said as he threw his pokeballs into the air freeing his team. " Alright guys." He said. " It's time to do some training.

Age: 83
Appearance: Elizabeth is of British decent, she has white hair which falls down to her shoulders. Her hair is neatly kept. She wears a black blazer and a golden brooch over a white blouse. She wears a black skirt and black heels. She wears black eyeliner. She paints her nails black and has brown eyes.

Elizabeth had finally finished writing her admission form. She was filled with euphoria to get back onto the tournaments after 60 years worth of retirement. Elizabeth grabbed her favourite walking stick and put a black hat on and opened the door. Elizabeth walked out of her stately house, and encountered the two boys talking.

 

[chredwards]

"Old lady?" Elizabeth opened her purse and brought out a mirror and looked at herself.
"Hmm...maybe I have let myself go." Elizabeth packed her mirror up and put it back in her bag.
"I'm on my way to the tournament centre, now excuse me." Elizabeth used her stick to move the small boy out of the way.

 

[Jagson]

Drew looked over his shoulder and saw and elderly lady walking his way. " Hello ma'am. How are you on this fine day."

 

[chredwards]

Elizabeth heard the other boys politeness. "Hello there! I am very well, thank you, how're you?" Elizabeth pulled a candle out of her bag, lit it and waited for the wax to melt. As it did, she poured the melted wax onto a corner of the paper, pulled out a stamp and stamped "E.V.S" onto it.

 

[Jagson]

"I'm doing fine ma'am." Drew said. " What's you're name?"
He turned to Lash. " No I haven't."

 

[chredwards]

"Elizabeth Henrietta Van Schwartzbaum. Not only is that my name but that is what E.V.S stands for." Elizabeth chuckled to herself.

 

[Jagson]

" Well it's nice to meet you Elizabeth." Drew said. " I'm Drew Leuric." He said as he moved his right towards her.

 

[chredwards]

Elizabeth stared down at the hand and clenched her fist. She opened her hand and shook the boys hand. "Yes."

 

[Jagson]

"Yes?" Drew said wondering what she meant by that. " Anyways I'm going to get something to eat either of you want to come?"

 

[chredwards]

"No, no, I've got to hand my admissions form in, then I'm hoping to start a battle. I haven't done it for 60 years!" Elizabeth placed her form in.

 

[Jagson]

" Sixty years huh." Drew said. " If you want I'll battle you." Drew cocked his head to the side a little bit. " My team needs some practice anyways."

 

[chredwards]

"Oh...well, I'm a little rusty but okay, we'll see." Elizabeth would click open her purse and fumble around for her pokéballs. "A-ha! Ninetales, go!" Elizabeth chimed while thrusting her stick down onto the ground.

 

[Jagson]

Drew looked over to his team. " Nightmare your up." Nightmare the Gengar ran towards Drew. Drew looked at Elizabeth. " Your move."

 

[chredwards]

"Okay, Ninetales, use tail whip!" Ninetales darted across and prepared to whip Gengar.

 

[Jagson]

Nightmare was whipped by the tail. " Nightmare." Drew said. " Use dark pulse fallowed by shadow ball." Nightmare jumped back as dark energy flew out of it's hands.

 

[chredwards]

"Ninetales use Fire Spin against it!" Elizabeth shrieked, her voice cracking a bit. She had to steady herself as she was getting too into it. Ninetales used the attack but still got hit. "Ninetales walk it off!"

 

[Jagson]

Fire appeared around Nightmare burning him. " hold in there Nightmare." Drew said. Drew had to think quickly. " Hypnosis." Drew said.

 

[chredwards]

"Dig, Ninetales, dig!" Elizabeth cried. Ninetales buried herself into the ground.

 

[Jagson]

Fire erupts around Nightmare again. The Ninetales breaks the ground underneath Nightmare hitting him. Nightmare lands on the ground. "Come on Nightmare get up." Nightmare tries to get up only to fall back down. Drew walked over to Nightmare and saw that he fainted. Drew put Nightmare back in it's Pokeball. " You did great Nightmare, now rest."
He looked towards Elizabeth. " Nice match."

 

[chredwards]

"I don't believe it...that was incredible. Well done, Drew and well done, Nightmare. Ninetales, return." Ninetales returned back to the Pokéball.

Age: 20
Appearance: Yannick is an european guy with short brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a black T-Shirt, short jeans and black sneakers. He stores his 5 Pokeballs on the right side of his belt. Scyther is following him all the time staying out of his Pokeball.

Yannick notices some loud noises after leaving the office as he saw 2 trainers battle. He sat down quietly next to another trainer watching the fight. His Scyther was a little nervous and while observing the battle Yannick's urge to battle was rising as well.

 

[Jagson]

" Well I got to go to the pokemon center." Drew said. He walked towards his team as he put them all back into their pokeballs. " I'll see you all tomorrow. We have a long day ahead of us." and with that he quickly walked away.

 

[Iblockya]

"Well Scyther, I guess we have to wait until tomorrow." Yannick said and he and his Scyther walked towards the pokemon center as well. "See y'all later, I'm looking forward to battle you" and with these words the doors closed behind him.

 

[Jagson]

" Thanks Nurse." Drew said to the nurse as she handed him back Nightmare. " Is there any good restaurants around here?"
The Nurse spoke to him. " Thanks for recommendation." Drew grabbed Nightmare as he started walking towards the door. On his way out he noticed a brown haired man roughly the same age as him. Since Drew already filled his " social quota" for the day as well as the fact that he didn't want another awkward situation like what he had with Lash. So he just walked right past the man.

 

[Iblockya]

Yannick noticed the guy with the Gengar walking by. "Hey, that was a nice battle you had out there with that lady!", he said to start a conversation. " Your Gengar seems to be well trained! Scyther and me are looking forward to battle you. Oh sorry, I am speaking faster than I'm thinking again, my name is Yannick, a pleasure to meet you."

 

[chredwards]

Elizabeth exited the building, Ninetales in hand. "That was an excellent fight, Ninetales. We haven't battled in so long. I am very proud of you!" Elizabeth noticed the new fellow who dressed in all black. Elizabeth grabbed a firm hold of her stick as she moved over to him.
"Excuse me, I do believe you were watching our fight, what did you think?" Elizabeth asked.

 

[Jagson]

Drew stopped and looked at the guy. " Yeah Gengar is well trained." He moved closer to the man. " I'm Drew Leuric. It's nice to meet you." Drew looked at the Scyther. " Nice Scyther. Hey a nurse told me about a good burger place a few blocks from here. Want to come?"

 

[Iblockya]

Yannick first turns to Elizabeth replying “indeed I watched that sparring match you 2 had and I'm quite impressed. I guess after all experience is more important than talent.“ He then turned to Drew “Sure thing I'm pretty hungry. Would you like to join us Elizabeth? I would really like to hear the stories how both of you got your badges.“

 

[chredwards]

"I'd love to join you! But as for getting these badges...ha! I doubt I'll remember. I haven't battled in 60 years, you know." Elizabeth pulls out her ancient badge holder and look at her badges. "Where are we headed?"

 

[Iblockya]

“Wow 60 years! Well I guess the only gymleader that all of us have battled is Blaine“ , Yannick said scratching the back of his head while smiling. “ Drew where exactly is this burger place? I'm here for the first time I'm glad I found the Pokemon Center“

 

[Jagson]

" According to the nurse it's three blocks east of here." Drew said. " It's called " five guys and fries." or something like that." He started to walk. " So I must ask what was your guys's starter pokemon."

 

[chredwards]

"My starter pokemon was Ponyta. I was given Ponyta just as I started, I grew up in a very rich area, so I was used to horses and such. When I got my Ponyta, I was overjoyed, and we set off on our journey. This Ponyta has stuck with me ever since. Ponyta, come on out!" Elizabeth yelled while firing the pokeball of her walking stick like a match of rounders. A Ponyta emerged from the ball.

 

[Iblockya]

“I'm not from the Kanto region so I started in a different way than most of the other trainers. My first Pokemon was my Scyther here. At the age of 10 I met it while playing outside and it followed me home. At home my grandfather gave me a Pokeball and Scyther went in on his own.“ Yannick replied while thinking about the old times. “What about yours Drew?“ he asked while observing Elizabeth's Ponita.

 

[Jagson]

" Poliwag was my starter." I said. " When I was fourteen I walked threw viridian forest. I ended up getting lost. I found the river that went threw the forrest and decided that I should fallow it. While I was walking near the river I saw Poli's tail stuck underneath a log. So I ended up going into the river to try and save it. As I pulled the poliwag free I noticed that it's tail was torn. So I ran as fast as I could to a pokemon center to try and heal him. When I finally got out of the forest in Viridian I ran straight towards the Pokémon Center. I stayed with the Poliwag till it's tail was healed. When his tail healed the Poliwag jumped into my arms as if saying that he wanted to join me. From that day forward Poli has become my pokemon, and my best friend." Drew took a deep breath before he continued. " I wanted to start my Journey then but my grand farther wanted me to get an education first. So I waited until a few months ago before I started my Journey." Drew grabbed his pokeball and brought out his Poliwrath. " Say Hi Poli." The Poliwrath let out a joyful cry.

Name: Andlu
Sex: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Andlu is young boy who lived most of his life in Johto. He loved the idea of going out on a journey to explore the world and catch all pokemon he could get. One day, he got the chance when he was invited by his dad, who was once a champion in the Kanto region, to visit him and start his journey. His dad granted him the wish he always had, the one of having an electabuzz and that was his starter. He then started travelling, with the goal to catch them all.

"Phew!" Andlu sighed as he finally was able to finish writing his admission form. He then looked around and saw nobody was there. He was completely alone. Andlu then heads to the pokemon center and the nurse tells him that a group of people were there just some minutes ago and that they were on their way to some burguer place. She informed him where it was and after some blocks he found it. After going inside, he found a group of three people chatting on a table. Two guys and one elderly woman. He approached and said 'Hi everyone, were you the ones who just applied to the tourney? I'm quite anxious for the tourney so the nurse told me some trainers were here so I came too!'
